Considering it's D1 and wheelchair accessible, I can't see how it could be still here.
Needs a check by the CO.

After a bit of looking around finally took the hints advice and had a seat... Finallly spotted the cache. Cool hide but needed a good wipe out as full of water. No trackable inside so that's gone walk about. Found with family4p sl tftc
What a beautiful park. Awesome hide. Cache was very wet, used utechick81's towel to dry it out and then stocked up the swaps. SL. TFTC
Stopped here on the way home from lunch to have a walk beautiful little gardens...looked at it and thought that can't be it....yes it was TFTC
Went for a walk with the banksias. Sat down and soon spied a cache hide
When I was somne distance away leaving, heard a noise and turned.

Took the grandies to their indoor hockey match at Blackwood Recreational Centre. Whilst waiting for the match to begin decided to find a nearby cache although couldn't make a direct route. A quick walk into the Botanic Gardens and made the grab, signed log and back to see more than half the match. Just the one for today. TFTC
We are keen geocachers on holiday from New Zealand, having a great time gathering a few smileys as we go. Really enjoyed this peaceful walk, however this cache was very sad.
We tidied it up a bit, put in a new log book and a pencil in a plastic bag but the container is completely broken and needs replacing. No travel bug.
Had a chat to one of the gardeners there who is a keen geocacher and he says he will get it sorted.
Hope he does because this is a great location for a cache.

Great hide, *stumped* us for a while! Cache container is broken, items wet, log missing. Needs maintenance. Directions indicated a trackable but none noted.
Found this cache . There was no log book . The container is no longer water proof probably needs replacing
More than seven years since we logged a DNF on this due to muggle presence, we finally got back for another go, with Frozen Feetlet in tow. No one about at all this morning so no problems finding the cache. As others have reported the logbook is gone and the container has deteriorated and is no longer waterproof. Unfortunately we are now travelling with nappies and wipes in tow instead of cache fixing gear so we couldn't help out, sorry. Stamped our name on the inside of the cache lid.
Havent visited this park in twenty years so thanks for bringing us back on a beautiful day to a lovely park .great natural hiding spot but cache water logged.TFTC
Great hiding place. Unfortunately the cache has been flooded by the recent rain and the log and contents are ruined.
Lovely day for a walk. Thanks for the find. Lid broken so not water tight. No pen but had one handy.
Find 2 on caching foray with Lapidge Family. Box lid is broken and will not protect contents if it rains. Hide is good but boxes probably a bit big and difficult to hide. Extra camouflage used successfully. TFTC
I have never been to Wittunga Gardens, until now. Much larger than it looks on the maps, and easier to walk than Mt Lofty Botanic Gardens too.
The caches at Wittunga have long evaded me, but today I gave 2 of 3 a good go. This one was looking tricky (it's a big bad banksia for sure), but I had a bit of a look and a think. Pity I didn't read the logs as I would have brought some replacement pieces.

Nearly left this one for another day as the thunderstorms rolled in. A quick find by Shadowsheep ensured we didn't have time to get caught in the rain. TFTC.
I tried to talk Digby into returning home instead of finding this cache. The cooler weather after this week's heatwave made it irresistible for Digby to keep walking along the trails in the gardens and find this cache. TFTC. We got our exercise today with this one as we did an extra lap of the gardens just to find it.
No pencil so couldn't write our name. But great spot- pretty gardens, nice to sit and listen to the kookaburras
Kids found it. Box is a bit broken and is not watertight at the moment. Great spot. TFTC
A Rat, an Owl and a Locus set out for a day of adventure.
A quick scan of the area and the Rat found the cache.
Cache container needs replacing, there was no log to sign.
Doctor Owl supplied a piece of paper as a temporary log.
The Rat and Locus Cache sign the log, placed it into the container and re-hide the cache. TFTC

Doctor Owl asked me to accompany her and SA Sewer Rats on a caching day.
An early start and an early finish made it a very different day for me
All up, it was a quality not quantity caching day as we targeted specific caches for a variety of reasons.
At the end of the day, I was very happy with my 14 finds
This cache is in a very pretty location and so we stayed for morning coffee and cake, between getting this cache and another also within this lovely park [^]
We commented on the age of the cache and that it is still here, which is cool!
My apologies but I had no containers with me that were large enough to replace the broken cache container as I wasn't in Harry
I also didn't have a log book on me but Dr Owl gave us a small piece of paper to put into the cache.

Found today but empty: no log book! Left something that any decent West Ham United fan would appreciate!
We found it! Also found part of the contents a few metres away, including wet logbook pages which we'll dry out and return.
Came to Blackwood for fuel and sort of stayed a while. Grabbed some sushi (and other caches) and ended up in this pretty park. Wasn't what I was looking for and after I wiped off my knees spotting something a little bit different. Thanks for the hide and bringing me here. First visit to this cool spot.
Dropped off tb in this beautiful spot

After finding another cache in the area, we headed off to look for this cache accompanied by numerous flocks of Eastern Rosella parrots - we really enjoyed the walk. Once at GZ we were able to make a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Team Seedsman for the cache and for bringing us to this lovely area.
We were walking through the park and decided to stop for a rest and see where we had to go and we realized we were right next to it!
