As we wander through the land, grabbing caches and seeing the sights even occasionally catching up with friends A good day was had while grabbing these caches with lots of miles covered Thanks for placing them *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
We've driven by here so many times. Always rushing to get somewhere before closing time.Today we had some free time and enough time to stop and find the cache.Nice work.No spiders were seen in the finding of this cache. Lots of webs, though.TFTC postiegirl06 and Aussie M & M.
MrsBee and GTA5 had been invited on a JAMS day out north. Have you met GTA5? he is very energetic! Of course we could not say no. We headed off in a roundabout way to find lots of caches. We searched high we searched low, some of us, not Mrs Bee got wet! Trees where climbed and many sneaky, cute creative hides found.
Today was another JAMS (JJ52, allister w, mogni, sir_spectre) day along with Mrs travellinbees and GTA5 with a few targeted caches out north and any others that we happened to be driving past. A fun day out in the sunshine driving on some great tracks on a perfect day for caching.A quick find as we drove past. Thanks for the cache Aussie M & M.
Quick find. Most of the roses now are dead. Today was a JAMS ( JJ52, Allister W, Mogni, Mitchell&hound plus Sir_spectre ) day out. Mitchell&hound is off on a 732 day holiday so she didn't join us. We picked up the travellinbees and GTA5 and they followed us in their own car. Today's targets were a 2001 cache and a cache on this date ( the 19th ) of a " not chosen " size 6 out of 31 days to go and also a high terrain cache using a 6.2 meter in a creek with water following in it and a few pirate project caches. I think we replaced 1/4 of the log sheets to day since there were wet or full plus replaced a few broken containers.
Day nine of our short South Australian trip with BettyBoo3747 and the geo-doggies.
Traveling from Blanchetown to Clare with a Cornish pastie in Kapunda.
A nice drive through the hills.
Grabbed a couple of AdLabs, and a few other odd caches we passed.
An interesting bit of history here.
The hint was very helpful after we found the cache, but not before! [:-]
Thanks, Robmc.

#19084. Day 9. of our Vic/SA trip with Robmc the geodogs and our bicycles. It was a moving day today between Blanchetown and Clare. So enjoyed the drive and the scenery once we got to Truro - beautifully green and lush at this time of the year. Spent a lot of time in Kapunda at the Copper Mine and in town. Gathered up 2 AdLabs and several caches along the way. Looking forward to the next four days based in Clare.
A great place to stop and smell the roses (well it might be in summer but they are a tad dreary at present). A very nice monument here with a backdrop of beautiful greenery which is a little different to the scenery of the past few days. Took us a while to locate the cache and once done we then realised what the hint meant. That is often the way.
Thanks Aussie M & M

I’m heading north for a one-day visit to the June Long Weekend Event, but taking a slightly circuitous route to boost my “360° From Home” numbers.
Second such cache, this one is almost due north from home. And here’s me thinking the Sturt stuck to rivers. Thanks for the cache and getting me to stop here PostieGirl06/Aussie M&M.

Fab hide, but beware I didn’t see the spider but there was a millipede grading the cache! Nice quick find co-it’s were spot on
Thanks PostieGirl06 for this cache and the ongoing maintenance. Found quickly and signed before any of the bull ants were wise to my presence. They were very busy on the hot concrete. Thanks for bringing me here, what a lovely spot with all the roses.
A quick drive by grab which was made quicker so I could get away from the ants. TFTC
Bull ants weren't that hungry today .
Great spot and a bit of history for all.

Today I headed out for an afternoon of caching in the Barossa. It was a lovely afternoon and enjoyed seeing all the autumnal leaves on the vines very pretty.
Found a nice variety of caches and still so many to come back for.
Found 29 with one dnf so was pretty happy with my effort .
Had absolutely no ideas here, the hint made no sense to me so after 15 mins of searching decided to move on. No idea what I am missing here. TFTH

A quick stop here today on my way past, cache and contents are all good
This morning I headed north towards Kapunda/Nuriootpa to clean up the caches I had left in the area. A nice morning out dodgy the dry weather road only and the flys. Total of 47 finds for the day.
Thanks for the cache

Today we are on our way from Peterborough to the Barossa Valley and are trying to pick up some caches on the way.
#17: As I was looking for the cache, I got attacked by a hord of red ants. Had to hurry up to sign the logbook...

As Owl was ill for the last Leap day and started caching 2 weeks after the one before, she was determined to make the most of this one. Plans were made and fell apart, but SA Sewer Rats was up for a girls' caching day out. there were finds, one DNF (mainly due to the lack of a suitable TOTT), laughter, lots of talking and a generally fun day was had. This was a nice quick find and the ants weren't too nasty.
Early in the morning up at Nuriootpa again with loads of time offa work [^] i decided on a caching half-day here [half, coz i gotta get back home before the traffic gets feral and to log my finds before midnight lol, i am very soft ha ha]
A quick find after reading the info on the monument, but many a VERY Stroppy and Furious Red Bull-Ants made standing in one spot a challenge but none the less the monument was an interesting read
A quick find of a cache under something Tractor related and the log was signed back at my Geo-Mobile... i wasn't getting eaten by Angry or Over-Curious Bull-Ants lol ]
SL at 07:57 on Wed 26 Feb 2020.
Took 2 items of swag... the Australian map and the tiny Pocahontus figurine [Mates daughter will Love that] and left two 'Stickeez' from Coles [^]

With horrible weather forecast for the area we decided on a drive towards Eudunda where the rain was not expected to be so heavy. Made a quick find at gz with a muggle alpaca curious enough to come say hello while we recorded our visit.
Enjoying our explore of this area aided by geocaches. Charles certainly got around. Tftc
Hi there Aussie M & M.
We found your cache **"Just Cached By.......?"** today. (This makes our find count 22078).
Today we headed out from Kapunda to attempt the "50" series We thoroughly enjoyed today's cache finds but due to some high winds we had to abort our run half way and return to camp to rescue our caravan awning before it blew away. - We also had to find this one. As it's not part of the series it deserves a finely crafted log, not one of the crappy cut-n-paste ones that usually are associated with power trails.
We found 27 caches today & DNF'd 0. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Nice one on our way to Adelaide! The cache is A1TFTC Merci pour la cache Greetings from Montréal Québec
Cached by again today with Purrfect Di, Timotatus and Jack.
So much easier now the grass has died back lol.

I caught the bus at this intersection every day of highschool (you can see my family farm from the cache). However I didn't know about the cache until well after I moved away. I'm back for the weekend & had to stop in on our way home from a function to do the closest cache. Also dropped a Kangaroo trackable. Thanks
Couldn't find it at first so returned to car for the clue and it was then soon in hand.
I had been meaning to stop and read this cairn before but never had an excuse until now. The hint didn't really help even after finding it, but the previous logs narrowed it down to a few likely spots and soon it was in hand. With CacheClosed1847. TFTC #249.
Very difficult find with CachingTheJoint. Clue is completely useless, but is a clever hide. Would be difficult to find if you weren't looking for it, good hide. TFTC. #271
Aftera failed attempt last time decided to give this one another go, with recent logs saying it had been found recently it seemed easier this time around.
Mogni was still in town and that meant another day of caching. Picked her up and seeing we had a great time walking along the Jack Bobridge Trail yesterday we headed out to finish the ones she was yet to get.
Took a break from the trail and headed out a bit further into the Barossa to look for a FTF, but due to some confusion with names and location we came up empty. Decided to grab a few more before heading back to the trail.
And as it turned out we were just caching by and stopped and found this one. [:)
Funny how the clue makes so much more sense when you have FOUND the cache.
Thanks postiegirl06 for the cache.

Out with Brisal5 getting just a few more geocaches before I return to work on Thursday. This took a little longer to find than it should have, but we got there in the end.
Thanks
Thanks
Knowing Postiegirl06 had been out and checked on this one gave me extra reason to make a detour from work and check out the area again! Thanks for the maintenance
I parked, I searched again, I pondered the hint.... (this meant something after I found the cache, but little before!),
I followed in the footsteps of many other cachers I reckon, who did not log their DNFs, as the undergrowth was looking very trampled all around. After looking in all the likely features, I thought about cache placing rules and when the cache was placed... was it up that tree??? At Terrain 2, maybe, but was it???
Eventually I found something quite hidden, near the cairn, and the clue revealed itself!!!!
Signed, sealed, returned to it's hiding place.
No spiders or snakes today, just a nearby farmer in his tractor.
Thanks again for getting on to the maintenance request, hopefully all the phantom DNFs, and logged ones, will come back now and find it - and learn about Capt Sturt too

Nothing since last July, a couple of other experienced cachers also have checked here, and probably many more not logged their DNF. No action on maintenance log. Needs checking or make space for a fresh start please.
Checked in here a few times now while working nearby.
A couple of other keen eyed cachers seem to have missed it.
Fear it may have gone.
Perhaps CO could check sometime, or just PM me if you'd like help with a replacement
Cheers, m

Found while out & about on a big caching day...I looked & looked...I think the cache was between the sight where I didn't need glasses & where I did, then I had a DOH!!! moment & grabbed it...TFTC
A short stop here to dodge the bull ants and find the cache. On the road with the.bakers on the way to Clare. TFTC. We signed the log and left the ants scurrying!
And the girls are off! Myself and my bestie Sharyn (family4p) are off on a girls weekend away to the Clare Valley for some geocaching, no husbands and no kids!! Woo Hoo!!
Another quick stop on the way up and some more great history to read up on!
After doing some tap dancing to avoid the ants, the cache was in hand, signed, and replaced!
Thankyou for hiding the cache and bringing us here!

Staying in the Kapunda Park over Easter and geocaching with The Erin and some other muggle friends we made this find and sign among the bull ants.
This one took longer that it should but on finding the hint became clear.
Ain't that the way!

Staying at Kapunda Caravan Park for Easter holidays. Did a little touring with Malandi and muggle friends. Muggle friends were certainly keen on locating the caches as well. About to move on and muggle husband came through with the goods. TFTC
Argghhhhh, There was another massive red back spider. Wife could hear me scream as I laid the cache back in it's spot. The bull ants were that aggressive, as soon as I squashed the red back who almost crawled along my hand the ants picked it up and raced it away.
So many bull ants crawling up my legs as I placed the cache back, still screaming as now I am getting bitten by the ants.
A lot of fun though. Now you can find a Trackable there too. W0Y9GA

The brave red jumped out of the ute, without reading the description, and went straight for the cache... whilst ronso stayed in the ute reading the "cautions" mentioned in the description!! Next thing ronso hears is "DAMN!! Thats the BIGGEST Red Back I've ever seen!!" :cO As the nesting spider happened to be on the same corner red picked up, and with his quick reflexes he got the better of the spider. Sorry if was anyones pet :c/ TFTC!!
