From one Mr Walker bin to another. I select the word "bin" advisably, but not in the "rubbish bin" sense. DVD's in residence scrutinised but as we had none to swap it was our usual TNLN SL routine.
What a beautiful spot and a big box as well. How could I not give this a favourite. Tftc tnln
CPwanderer, GoodLook and I headed off for a weekend in Port Lincoln via an overnight stop in Whyalla
Our weekend was unexpectedly extended by a day due to illness and so my tally at the end of the 'weekend' was 168 cache finds
Sadly this was marred by a massive 28 DNFs
Port Lincoln, despite being virgin caching territory for all 3 of us, did not provide us with the pleasure that we had anticipated
So many of the caches were bison tubes and those that we did find, quite often were in places where a larger cache could have been hidden The other issue was the lack of maintenance on many caches
There are people trying their best to maintain the 'wheres wolly' cache hides however their resources are stretched thinly..... so if you are heading over, please pack heaps of cache maintenance containers, bags and log books and help out where you can. [^]
That being said, the trip was still a blast and some great caches were found and great views were seen!
No DVDs were exchanged today but we did enjoy finding your cache
Also enjoyed the walk along the beach

Lovely wander along the beach to this one!!!
This was one of the caches found on a three day odyssey on the Eyre Peninsula! Myself, GoodLook and locuscache had never cached south of the Cowell/Cleve area so we had high hopes of some great caching. We worked our way down through Port Neil and Tumby Bay and grabbed those along the highway plus a few a little further afield.
Our time in and around Port Lincoln was frustrating. Lots very small micros, lots of very rusty tins and more dnfs than ive ever had in a day before this. We were very fortunate that local cacher , Roming Wendy joined as. Her expert knowledge of the town certainly helped. A medical issue had us stay a third day. This worked out very well as we could do some relaxed caching on our way home.
A special thanks to Roming wendy for her help and to those who hid caches in the area … particularly the Geo-Ambos, Wheres Wolly and Viper321. Special thanks also to my “mildly obsessive” caching buddies on this trip …………………………… amazing fun!!

Naaawwww....we liked the sand castles that greeted us....it did take all of our energy not to stomp on them though
What a fun little drive on the tracks and then a beautiful walk on the beach. Easy find. Cache could probably use some TLC at some point.
Found whilst on a road trip with CPwanderer and Locus Cache, with the aim of the weekend to cache in and around Port Lincoln - fresh territory for us all. We certainly had a great time, however with a DNF rate of about 40% [:(!], it was tough going! We did however thoroughly enjoy the beautiful locations and scenery.
After joking all day on the Sunday we should spend another night in Pt Lincoln, circumstances presented that meant we needed to extend our time away! We took it slowly on the way home which enabled us to once again visit some terrific places
Thanks for the cache

Found cache 6/6/2016. Lovely clear, brisk morning. Unfortunately I didn't leave a msg as the Pen has run out & I didn't have one on me
Day Four of our Eyre Peninsula expedition. Today we set off to find a cache or two, some we found, some we didn't. This one is very similar to one we found in the Riverland a few years ago by WIN TV!
Didn't exchange but left a pathtag.
This one we did!

4665 Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 0935. Now on our way to Port Lincoln for a couple of days. The wind is very strong this morning so it is great to be below the foreshore plant life. Walked down the beach then in. SL all in good condition even though the lid was just sitting on the container. Tnx Mr Walker
Found at 2:29 PM GAFF1.
We would have driven along the beach as we saw tyre tracks going that way, but earlier in the day we got into a spot of bother with our van and got bogged - in a cemetery car park
So it was a simple decision - walk the 150 metres and get the cache. And what a nice sized cache this is. Brings a smile to a cachers face. After doing scores of minuscule caches in Port Lincoln, this was such a relief Wish I had a DVD swap as I really wanted that Australia Downunder one
Thanks Mr Walker.

Thanks Mr Walker for the find! Geo-Ambo #1, #3 and Geo-kid #1. Took us quite a while tracking through the bushes but we didn't give up! We took a little wooden man and left 4 DVDs. "Sample People" and some 4wd DVDs. Second find for the Geo-kid!
TFTC.16.30. From Perth to Melbourne is our last vacation journey in Australia, along this route, we look for caches. Greetings from the Netherlands
I think that is the biggest cache I have found so far , I will be helping jane the trackable cow enjoy more farming areas across the country
Found during a family Tumby Bay holiday with DeltaDucks and stavros08. Thanks
Found whilst out collecting caches whilst in Tumby Bay. Short walk along the beach. Tftc
Too windy for fishing today so caching was on the cards. A pleasant stoll to this one considering the conditions. An easily found huge cache but the log book was full. Ran back to the car and grabbed a new book. Also dropped of 2 TB's. TFTC

Today we drove from Adelaide to Port Lincoln. There wasn't too much time available for caching but we found 9 along the way.
This was number 7
We walked along the beach to this one and found it immediately as the coordinates were spot on.
It was was stocked with quite a few DVDs but we didn't do any swapping.
We did however take a trackable.
Thanks for placing this cache Mr Walker

I visited Tumby Bay today, and set about finding this cache
A stroll along the 'not a surf beach' was so nice after all my outback travels [^]
The cache was a quick find, thanks to its sheer size
I reckon you could probably spot it from Wardang Island [:o]
The mention of Death Adders in the cache notes got me attention when I read them just now !! [:o]
The one snake I really feel uncomfortable about are Death Adders !!
They don't run away !!
You can't see them !!
And they are really, really, really poisonous [:o]
And for those reasons are regularly included in the top three most dangerous Aussie snakes
I didn't tread on any today, so I am happy to say TFTC

We walked along the beach to this one and then headed inland to make a quick find of the container. Was wary of where we were treading on this warm day due to the snake warning but didn't see any.
We left 2 DVD's but didn't like the limited choice left so took the spider which we hope to use as a cache container when we return home to Tassie.
Loved the orange wildflower near GZ.
Returned via the beach and had a paddle as we walked back. Thanks.

Staying at Tumby Bay caravan park, very windy today, so picked up a few local caches.
The cache was found quickly, thanks for the hunt today, Mr Walker.

going around town with wendy & dolphin 0505 & foxylady
a great way to burn off dinner form the local tuck shop, and more views of the sea and town in fading light.

We have returned from Canada to discover a few more Australian caches! What a great way to explore the "land down under."
Enjoyed a stroll down the beach then through the brush to get the cache.
Thanks for the fun Mr Walker!

Tempted to drive down the beach for this one but opted for a walk instead. Discovered the track on the dune only way back. Hoping to pick up the listed trackable, but it was already gone. Log book is fill too. Thanks
picked up a few in tumby and the kids love this size of cache, thankyou for putting this size ones out. we don't see many in Adelaide like this. tftcsl
Love tummy bay and its beach, spent alot of school holidays here, swimming and jumping off the jettys. Sadly the small jetty is gone now. Favourite for me.

A lovely big cache, we didn't pre prepare for this trip so we couldn't put any in but a good idea
Dropped near a "reef" of rocks, may need to be taken further north for some coral reef action
This was a easy find, had no dvds to place in there, we enjoyed our lunch watching the sea before moving on. TFTC
Found on a drive to Tumby Bay for my Brother-in-Laws 70th Birthday bash.
Geo GF had blisters from all the walking today so it was a slow walk along the beach to find this one.
Thanks for the Cache - We had a great day 13 out of 13 by the time it got dark.

On the move again, heading towards Port Lincoln. Picking up a few caches by the side road as we went.
Not much of a DVD collection here.
Thanks Mr Walker

On a road trip by myself from Perth to Adelaide. Thanks for the caches to keep me from getting too bored.
Another cache I'd found and logged back in August 2012 but again it does not show as one of my finds. YR80 took some CD's in to help stock the cache and I followed along struggling in the soft sand to claim the find. It was a great idea but all the movies were gone
On a morning's caching with team konings, we found this impressive cache quite easily. With six eyes searching we soon had it in hand.
Thanks Mr Walker for the cache and the pleasant stroll in the dunes.
Thanks Mr Walker for the cache and the pleasant stroll in the dunes.
Found it at night gave up on it at first but literally fell on top of it no damage done thankfully and no snakes either
No death adders, so we left the Anaconda 3 DVD . Obviously a low budget movie that is an indicator that David Haasselhoff should retired! TFTC
Lovely old school style cache - or at least old school NZ style Loved the wee walk out here. +1 Cheers Gav [11676]
Quickly found. On the walk back to the car, Missyhere informs me that the listing warns of snakes in the area. Although I'm always wary anyway, it sent a shiver down my spine.... Yuk!! Left a TB. TFTC.
Nice cache... Found with Jaded Optimists... I purposely didnt pre warn him about the snakes as I didnt want to locate it on my own (perhaps Im more scared than he is)... Hehehe
We dropped off a TB. Great cache container... TFTC

A nice run up the beautiful beach, and a short search the large geocache was find. Thanks for a good sized container.
Nice morning for a walk & to find my first cache! Yipeee!! Left a cool DVD for the next person to find.
