With no action taken by the CO since Sept 2012, this cache should be archived. Thanks
Looked even tho it was disabled as I know the owner of the TB that was in the cache but no luck at all finding any sign of it.
shucks, just checking on my TB and see the cache is missing ... still hoping one of the last 3 finders may have picked it & just forgot to log it?
With all the dnfs, and the tree being gone, it's time to archive this, or at least move it to a nearby location
Agreed, was with MorganEd today too. This cache has a special place for me as it was my first challenge when I first started doing this sport. I was using a navman in those days lol. Anyway, I got to know this area very well and can concur that a big clear up has taken place and I think the tree it was in has gone. Hope you can manage a replacement Seekerjorge, perhaps over the bank would be away from general muggles.
here today to do the new caches and went to check on this one found a while back but a large clean up has happened in this area and cache has been cleared with it all along with the tree it was hiding in sorry to be the bearer of bad news
Agree that it appears that maybe this cache has gone awol? Fairly good look with a couple of helpers. Did also notice the tree stumps at just the right point.
couldnt find this one. Had to find a cache today to fill in my caching calendar, but came up short. 3-4 trees at GZ have been recently removed, fresh stumps, big hole and tractor tire tracks all nearby, makes me wonder if it might be missing.
Have just moved back to the Hawkes Bay after spending 15 years in Canada, and seem to have no luck with our local caches. 2 dnf's on both attempts since arriving. I know it will be better!
Loved the area, will have more time to explore soon.

A quick find after a detour because of entering the coordinates incorrectly into the GPSr

Nice easy cache. Log a little wet. Picked up Zack the GeoDog, will drop him off at a new waterway. TFTC SiLiRy
Dropped off TB Zac Geo-dog. A nice place for him by water and other dogs, as owner in Brisbane requests. Cache is in good order, high and dry! There was not room in the cache-box for Zac, but he is in a plastic bag, isside the protective nylon cache-bag. Thanks Jordge.
Really enjoyed our wander along the K9 Walk. Spent some time at GZ but were unable to locate the cache.
Together with SpeedyGT we had on january day off and we discovered this nice park. We found this cache under the tree in bush. TFTC and greetings from Czech republic!

This long standing cache has been on the "to do" list for a long time when visiting the Hawkes Bay. Took the time to do this very pleasant short walk today and dropped the Rum TB to off so that he could enjoy the company of fellow canines.
a paradise for dogs, one of them was swiming in the river, i come from Québec, Canada
A bit of a hard find due to gps struggling to find an accurate read with the soggy boggy weather...demons beady eyes found cache. Slippery feet... demon almost landed on his tush...twice!! hahaha gumboot weather really but this is better than sitting in front of the box on a day like this TFTC TN left spyglasses
Lovely walk, although a little wet underfoot and the grass was just being mown. TFTC
Cache is under attack from 1000's of ANTS! Did our best to clean them off, but get the feeling they will be back.
Log book is quite mouldy.
Lovely place. Shame Sebby wasnt with us. He would have loved this spot.

Nice walk on a beautiful day, but you've got to like the dog smell. Collected geocoin and travel slug..
was in town for the simply red concert... absolutely fantastic! bought our "home away from home" 7WED51 and stayed at the Clive Motor Camp. While here went for a bike ride along the riverbank walkway/track from the camp site.. avoiding cow splats and the odd wayward bull! we were armed with just our gps, no street maps and no idea where we were going... soon realised we were on the wrong side of the river for another nearby cache, so carried on to find this cache and after crossing the river on the road and back onto the track, quickly found the other cache... nice spot and great hide... TFTC
Anne said there is a cache nearby, stop here. We did and ended up with a 1k walk over the disused road bridge into the park. Great place for a picnic and we saw a few dogs as well. Found cache with no problems thanks. TNLNSL
great walk... pity i don't have a dog... must've looked like an idiot to everyone else that were walking dogs... tftc
GPS batteries went dead as it hit GZ. But actually worked out cos I then had to "use the force" and found it nowhere near where the GPS was telling me !! TFTC
Looked for this one over a year ago when it was in a hole. So good to find it this time finally. TFTC
Fantastic park and a great cache! Has been on my to do list for a while now but had been disabled due to water damage last time I was free to visit. GREAT walk for dogs too - can walk your dogs OFF their leashes here - one of the few place in Hastings you can do this now.
Was Master 3YO's second cache - he took the toy skateboard/car thing and we left a glow-in-the-dark astronaut.
Also retrieved TB 576520

Found with Mr Chillipips - really enjoyed the walk on a lovely sunny day, and all the obviously happy pooches we met along the way An easy find but the log is wet and a bit mouldy so left a large bag of silica between its pages. Took Red hand GC. No sign of Reindeer TB and not mentioned in log as being taken either... Left Frog TB to be near the water for a bit Replaced cache securely and well hidden as we found it. Dipped German coins in and out TFTC

Log was quite wet
put it in the sun for half an hour and it dried a lot but not completly and dried the container
I suspect while the log is damp and in a sealed container it won't get any better

Nice walk and easy found. Logbook is wet because a large item blocked the lid from closing tight. We put this item off the box inside the bag.

Nice walk for the kids and us. Lots of fish in the stream, several dogs (and owners) about. Four year old son found cache, very excited he was!
Retrieved OrangePunk Mouse TB 27RDE1, and swapped a couple of items for plastic pig and opossum. TFTC

What a lovely walk, The dog loved it, Beautiful river good hiding spot TFTC put mouse traveller in
great walk beside the stream, some very nice trees including Plums and Figs.No trouble finding cache. TFTC
Great place to walk the dog, one or two around, the damp weather probably put some of them off coming. TFTC
The container was sealed when I picked it up, but half of the log book was a little wet.
Great park Binkle and I enjoyed the walk and there were certainly a number of K9's about.
Nice walk through the trees, plenty of four legged friends about, there was a big spider stuck to the cache, dont worry hes gone now. TFTC
Lots of moggie muggles as you'd expect around here and a pleasant spot for an evening stroll.
Felt a little conspicuous here, everyone else was walking their dogs, nice easy find in a great little spot TFTC

Dorian took a whistle and left a scout badge. Ewan is in charge of Froogy until next find.
Out with the kids in a great park where we used to take the German Shephard before he died earlier this year. Still an awesome walk if you love dogs. Thats for helping to make it a good memory. Have hidden a geocoin in the cache that we got up in the Bay of Plenty. toeagles
Oops, forgot to log this one, found a few days ago. (found 17/10 logged 22/10). I didn't find this on my first attempt as the Navman I was using wasn't good enough, plus I wasn't looking for something so well hidden. Nice challenge, well concealed. Didn't see any trackable items, guess these went when muggled a few months back.
Wahoo. Snazzy jazzy and dad found this. Was a neat walk and well hidden. So much fun
Found 2nd time lucky, thanks to muggles getting down on the last one. A good hide, this is less obvious and well camoflaged. Out a caribener(?) clip and in a hacky sack.Well done such a nice walk.
Harder to find now its been relocated. Found with the help of Mackinley and Tai on a beautiful sunny day.

Found the spot and the bag that contained the cache, but suspect that someone found it first and took the entire cache
Waterlogged cache in need of a good dry out and re-site.
Lucky seeker jordge were with us to do that.
Lovely park, great walk.
Pity Jonny fell into the stinging nettle just below the cache!
Found some keys on the way out, then hunted around for 20 minutes to find the owners
