In the area with a group of year 11 ODE students. Made the find in the rain. Thanks.
Camping at Mt Compass for Easter we headed out with the bike onboard to tackle some caches and explore the region using Geocaching as our tour guide.
Grabbed this one as the last for us today. 33degrees so we were glad of the quick find.

While spending some time staying in the beautiful Mount Compass caravan park we opted for a day caching around Mount Magnificent, Finniss and Cox Scrub Conservation Parks.

A quick find, with a magnificent view!! As previous finders have written, maintenance is needed by CO. Fortunately we had a small log book and bag in the car for a temporary replacement log book, as the old one is soaked and mouldy. TFTC.
This one does need a little bit of maintenance. Was able to pry the book open and log the find. TFTC
Beautiful site; cache container has rusted and log is too mouldy and rusty to write in.
We were in the area chasing some other caches but this one was right where we stopped to look at a view. There was a bit of moisture in the container but we were able to add our name to the ligbook.

Found by The Boofs TFTC . Replaced container with one we had in the car - last one missing lid and rusted out.
Perfect day, perfect view and quick find. Needs some maintenance as no longer waterproof but we didn't have anything with us

Glorious drive into the cache area. Through dales and over streams to beautiful view right next to the cache. Love it. Thanks for bringing us out here for the find.
A quick find as we cached our way through here, we saw a good size brown snake on the road up to this one but was killed by a car not long before we got here, the views from here are fantastic and cache is in really good condition and no maintenance required. TFTC

A quick find while admiring the views from up here. The container really isn't suited to being used as a geocache, and is far from watertight. As a result, the insides are a bit damp.

Well I parked at gz not even knowing a cache was hiding here. Made my way up mt magnificent and when I got back to the car, asked the GPS where the next hide was.....17m! Magnificent!

We haven’t been in this neck of the woods since getting the nearby ‘Lofty Peaks’ cache in 2006. Nice to re-visit. Thanks Siegfried. No swaps.

There was a van parked just across the road, with somebody inside. Not sure what he was doing, definitely not caching, but thankfully taking no notice of us either.
Not the best day for satellite locks, However, persistence pays off!

Magnificent day for caching. I'd looked for this quite a while ago and just couldn't find it. Today I more or less walkwd straight to it. TFTC.
I found it, Boxer hid it, brother acted as decoy for muggle taking photographs. 'Magnificant' views. Clever cammo. Thank you for the journey.

Had to pick up GeoDaughter from a Scout Hike in the Kuitpo / Cox's Scrub Area so left a little early with the GeoDog to grab some caches.
Last find of the day. The leaders and kids had looked earlier in the day but looked in the wrong area. Good Camo. TFTC.

After my 3 finds earlier today I was in the mood for caching so on my way to somewhere I took a short detour
