A day in and around the Yarra Valley; we were surprised at how green this part of Victoria is and at the number of interesting old caches on offer for us to find.
A quick walk to the listed co'ords, no plaque, it looks as if the original seat may have been replaced! A PAF call to a long ago previous finder gave us the numbers we needed to get to GZ, where with a bit of a scramble the cache was quickly spotted.
**FEEDBACK TO CO:** Might pay to check out this one, please.
Our thanks to 'Rebel Acts' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.

Calculated the required coordinates and only a short walk away. Searched for a few minutes without luck and checked other logs. Given the number of DNFs I decided to move on. This may need to be checked.
The puzzle was easy enough and a nice seat to relax and enjoy a nice autumn afternoon . The cache was a different story . Searched high low , checked the hint , searched again . No luck . Oh well , it was a good adventure .
Riding along the Warburton trail again with Swedishchef. ( muggle friend) who gets used to me stopping and looking for “treasures” as he calls caches. Each time I find a few so there are some when we come back for the views and exercise again. Explored some of the multis this time and retrieved some information for next time. Here , A few bolts had been replaced on the structure at Gz.
So maybe muggled. But I’ve missed a few like this before. Had to ride on to Warburton and try a few more. Always happy to try a short multi. But no smiley at this time. Will put in watch list.

Out for a quick morning walk to stretch my legs and clear the head before getting back to some work at home.
Short stroll to gather the clues and calculate the GZ, quick find.

Absolutely great! Had a delightful meal at the Carriage Cafe (once we found it). A not too difficult multi to solve and a fun hunt. The kids absolutely loved this one!
After an early start at the Yarra Expedition Part 9 Event it was now time to say goodbye to our convoy of cachers and head back home.
A small detour to attack a simple multi along the Warburton Trail, saw us collecting the clues in a light shower , the first rain for the day. We were amazed our busy this trail was with walkers and riders even with the ominous clouds starting to move in. Once GZ was worked out the fit Triton made the find while I stood guard , watching out for muggles.
Thanks Rebel Acts for the multi along this fine trail.

Second cache on the way back to lilydale. Nice easy multi. Strangely found two separate containers with logs in each. Signed both. Tftc
Too many muggles walking and cycling about today prevented us from looking longer. Will be back another day!
Got out for another sneaky holiday find. No one else was up for a walk so I headed out solo. A lovely walk from around wandin station and a quick find. Thanks for the effort. Cache in good condition.
Fun little multi as dad and boy tackled this section of the rail trail by bike. By this stage we were ready to get off the bikes for a bit so we wandered to GZ, climbed over the bridge and grabbed the cache. TFTC, will be back to tackle the next section in the near future.
I was out training for the OXFAM Trailwalker with Annoying Tarbit, BendSinister, waferthin and Lost_and_found_79. I've got a bit of energy back now that we're on the flat trail but still the others are beating me to the finds. Probably because I don't trust the energy in my legs to keep me from tumbling under bridges! waferthin was quite surprised to discover a second cache tin whilst the first was being signed.
Find #3122
Up in the hills again today on another training walk for the Oxfam Trailwalker event with Bend Sinister, Waferthin, Lost_and_found_79 and Loz6032. We covered around 30km and of course found the time to divert for a few caches along the way. This was my seventh find of the day and by this stage we were out on the flat terrain of the rail trail. I was mentally calculating easterly coordinates in the hope we wouldn't have to back track and this fitted the bill. Took a bit of a search but waferthin got the job done. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache Rebel Acts.

I'm tempted to just say "refer to Lost_and_found_79's account" as she sums up the crucial details rather well. Annoying Tarbit, Loz6032 and waferthin rounded out our party and it felt like everyone played a part in locating the cache. A very simple and quick multi, and an enjoyable diversion on a looong, straight, flat stretch of our hike. Thanks Rebel Acts!
Annoying Tarbit, Loz6032, waferthin, BendSinister and I were out on a training walk for the Oxfam Trailwalker and managed to look for a few caches along the way. It was one way to break up the ~28km (and 50,000 steps we took), which may have been longer with some of the intended and not so intended detours.
We stopped to obtain the information needed at the posted coordinates and BendSinister scribbled the information on the back of his phone. With the coordinates in hand, we wandered off to GZ. Waferthin ended up making the find, and whilst showing us where he found it he found another container which also had a log! Confusion all around about which one was the correct one to sign. In the interests of time one was signed and both replaced. TFTC!

We came here yesterday to ride some of the Trail and find some Caches. Today we rode from Woori Yallock to Seville and managed to find all the Caches on this section of this great trail. Thanks for bringing us here Rebel Acts.
Out with OzHockeyChick to get as many caches along this rail trail. As I had been at the gym the day prior and had very sore legs I was unsure how far my legs would take me. Off to find gz and sign the log we were on our way. One down lol off to get more. Tftc

Had the muggle-nephews with me this weekend, the time seemed right so took the plunge and deviously introduced them to caching, enormous whew, they loved it and have now been promoted to geonephews with their own tags - MadMatt and Dan the Man Was gonna try and stick to caches I'd already found but we were nearby so we took the risk considering it had been a DNF on a previous visit. With much nail biting we took on our troll personas and lo and behold not just one cache but two!! Both signed and replaced followed by a round of high-fives
A quick and easy multi with a bonus at GZ. I soon spotted the cache, and then did a double take, there was a second container only 30cm from the first one. Both containers are identical and in good order. I decided to sign both since I probably won't get a chance like this again [:-)]. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the caches.
After a reschedule of a docs appointment i had a couple of hours to waste and thought i would grab this little fella as i have been chasing the unloved variety and this fitted the bill....Easy little multi but a nice area and we are soon to ride the whole trail but for now this was safe and sound and in it's hinted hiding spot...
Thanks for the Unloved

In the area so thought we'd have a look, lovely area but sadly have to agree with previous logs, couldn't find cache anywhere
Walked down from Seville station and found coordinates but nowhere to be seen. Looks like this one may have been muggled based on other log posts. Need to review.
Just did this multi. And getting the new coordinate went all good. Sadly i could not find the cache it self. Beautiful spot! Hopefully this one comes back soon!

We used the great weather to bike along the Lilydale-Warburton rail trail this weekend. The trip had a bit of everything: scenic views, sunshine, a flat tire and lots of caches. We want to thank the cache owners for all the effort they put into creating and maintaining their caches.
___
We didn't find this one. Hence we found all the others of the series, we reckon it is lost for the geocaching community. It should be checked by the owner.

Nice multi with multi muggles. Perhaps I should pick my times better, middle of the afternoon on the best day of spring, during the school holidays, I probably could have picked a quieter time. Thanks for the cache.
It was a lovely afternoon, following quite a few cold days, so Crusty K9 took me for a walk along the rail trail. We saw some wonderful views and enjoyed our time hunting for the caches. Thanks Rebel Acts.

A bit of snuffling around in cobwebs before we looked at the hint and found it . TFTC
Quick find last night after a previous fail on my own in the day on my bike. Thanks Rebel Acts.
The Demolition Crew was together again on our regular Monday night caching run. The night was full of caches finds, laughs and a fair distance traveled tonight with our route taking us right out to Warburton then back into the city. We had a great night finding quite a few multis and even managed a FTF as well. Thanks to all the CO's for placing the caches that we found tonight.
Found while out on another legendary Demolition Crew run starting in the Melbourne area, making a big loop out Warburton way then back to the CBD. A great night caching with lots of laughs as usual, and great company of course. Lots of multi and a few mystery cache finds, and even a FTF. Thanks to all the CO's who put out the caches we found on the night.
Found this one in the company of the cache owner. Another top cache from the Rebel. TFTC mate.

The Demolition Crew meet once again to cache in Melbourne tonight. Tonight we had not really prepared a run, so it was a matter of "going with the flow" and looking for caches of opportunitiy in the eastern and outer eastern areas of Melbourne. THis one was found in the company of the CO. Thanks.
I couldn't find this one even with the help of GeoHawkSnr I think we had the right co-ordinates from WP1 but still no luck , I hope it's still there so we can try again some time!
Youngest geoson and myself headed out on a sunny Sunday afternoon to try our luck finding a few caches on the Warby trail. Worked out the maths at wp1 and went to retrieve our prize,TFTC
Arrived at GZ and thought, hmmm, wtf, as a nearby cache is called. Then read the description a bit better, DOH, did some maths, way off, did some more, still way off, finally put my glasses on, that's better, walk to hide, found, also found some sunnies on the ground nearby, so if someone lost them they're on the bridge.
Thanks Rebel Acts.

Thanks for the hint, is so cool to know how many times I've ridden past this cache. Tftc
Ok so I got an easy find on this as I was with the owner as he went to check it was still there. Thanks Rebel Acts for the cache.
Checked cache and it is still in place, an easy find compared to some of the minature camel caches.
We were really exited as i have riden my horse past this spot for years but unfortunately we couldn't find it... would love to know if its definitely still there from all the floods, as we would just keep searching then [?]
No luck for us today ... climbed all under the bridge, looked on either side... I hope it's still there.
Searched thoroughly for this one, I think it may be missing, spent 30 minutes underneath due to regular muggle trafficand not wanting to be seen.
Thanks for the cache anyway

No. 4 of 8 found today during a joint ssmc4 & EuDes family ride along the rail trail from Lilydale to Warburton.
I'd done most of this nice series a few years ago when on a fantastic bike-riding caching event organised by Nutcache, but there were still a few remaining I had to nab. Fortunately EuDes did most (all?) of the work today so it was an easy smiley for me.
Many thanks to Rebel Acts..

Found this one at 11:45 while on our LtoW bike ride with ssmc4 today. We did have to have a little peek at the hint after which, we were soon logging the find on this glorious day for a cycle .

B1 happy to finish this one off after hitting his leg with car door yesterday while collecting some clues.
Find 5/10 for the day at 13:49. Enjoyed this simple multi which I found with no trouble. Very few muggles around today with the exception of a large grader that was doing work on the nearby road. The large cabbage tree grove also certainly brought back memories of the great time I had caching in New Zealand a little earlier than this time last year. Later returned to this seat to have a sandwich before returning to Lilydale by bike. TFTC.
Found by edmil and maddie. I thought I had cleaned up all the Warburton trail series only to find that I had somehow missed this one. Maddie and I had noticed a sign to the Seville Carriage Cafe as we came through Seville on our way to an afternoon in Warburton. On a whim we decided to check out the cafe. We drove around a bit trying to find the entrance to the Cafe and eventually noticed a sign to park at the old Seville train station. I parked the car and just by chance decided to check if there were any nearby caches, as it turned out there were 3 within a few hundred metres of each other. We did the Watch out for trains #1 multi and were on our way to the Cafe for Maddie's mandatory cach'n trip coffee. but oh with such a long walk to the cafe we decided to take a breather on the seat and grab a few numbers. Would we do the cache first or eat first? That was the question. Well it was afternoon now and the maddie hadn't had breakfast so food it was. We enjoyed a pleasant meal at the cafe - well worth the vist and play a couple of games of Coloretto (a card game) over the meal. After lunch we decided to nab the cache. It didn't take long to come up with the goods but we had to be careful as there were quite a few muggles out and about on such a nice day. Log signed and cache replaced we set off to do the next closest. Thanks for the cache Acts - we've been a bit slack on our cach'n fora while.
found @ 16:50 with mum and dad (ross47). #8 of 10 for the day.
we could see the seat from the car as we arrived. the path from the road to the trail was covered in large puddles of water, as it had been raining. we wrote down the co-ords for GZ and made our way there slowly. once the muggles had passed, we started looking and after a few minutes dad found it.
it's a lovely area anytime of the year.

Found @ 16:50 in the company of the geowife and emeraldflame. We collected the required information and moved slowly towards GZ - to allow a couple of muggles to pass - and after a quick search the prize was won, and the log signed. The trail is an absolute asset to all the areas it passes through - I must make the effort to get better acquainted with it.

GMelb and MMelb went on a Church Group Bike Ride from Mt Evelyn to Warburton on this lovely day with MMelb's friend JMuggle and several other families
who had started earlier with the younger children to give them time to get a bit ahead so G&MMelb & JMuggle were the only ones here for this cache.
This was the first rest stop and a chance to have another look for this cache.

Found at 1220. A short walk to this one from our nearest parking spot, and it wasn't too long before we were searching in a familiar location. It wasn't until Rubik mentioned the size of the cache that we opened our eyes a bit more did we find it.
Thanks.
Thanks.
MV and I were keen to complete another in the series as these bridges seemed to be the theme of the day. My sloppy parking meant MV had to walk a bit further but we teamed up well at GZ to make short work of the find. While doing my troll work it occurred to me that I left many valuable objects within reach of any cyclists going past, thankfully they were all honest and didn't pinch them.
Thanks,

We decided to complete this cache today and after collecting all the numbers we headed for the final location positive we had the final GZ right.
In between light rain the decision was made by the driver to get as close as possible to the cache without getting the seekers wet and like any good servant the cache was found and all stayed dry.
Our thanks to Acts2youth for another great cache in the series, each offers something different.
Regards Mr.Coffee and the "bridge 16&17, I heard a rumor this trail goes all the way to northern Queensland and crosses 5,233 bridges" Coffee Clan.

11.25am.we soon that is David and i soon found the clue,so this time we only used the massive calculator to work out the sums, our brains that today we both had one cell each so the maths was easy! a short walk along this old rail track with good info on the cache notes thanks.more lessons from David about the birdlife around as there is so much birdsong.i used my mini torch here for a quick joint find.thanks for bringing us here.sltn.patandjeff=bones1.
Found by David in company with Bones1 from UK at 1125. A long time after doing the remainder of this series, David could finally complete it today. That previous experience helped too, as did Jeff's torch. Our thanks to acts2youthgroup for highlighting these interesting bridges.
The recovery of this cache was a bit slower than we anticipated, as we had to wait for a dog muggle, who in turn, had to wait for his dogs. Our patience was rewarded in the end. Thanks for a very pleasant cache.
Find # 2668 and 13th of the day at 12:19pm. Acccompanied by Chewinprickles and Robmc on my first whole day out caching for the year. Finally got to log the last cache in this serries, TNLN, Signed Log, Thanx Acts2youthgroup....
We reckoned we knew where to look here and in a way we were right but we did it the right way anyway. Made it easier I guess.
Thanks indeed and hi to you A2YG. I assume you've stopped evacuating every couple of days by now.

I thought we had completed all these ages ago! Where did this come from?
A nice walk along the track, with bets being placed as to wether it was under the first bridge. As the GPS's took us way past the bridge, the sudden realization that it was a multi sunk in. Pens and paper were produced and the required calculations made.
A good find by Chewin' soon after.
Thanks, Robmc.

Thanks, Robmc.
I was working near here in my crane 3 weeks ago and i knew there would be a cache in that area. so we had to come back to find out
Thanks
Thanks
Found this one while out walking with the team/family on the Warburton Rail Trail.
It took a while to find once we'd calculated GZ. Searched everywhere getting quite frustrated. Eventually decided to ignore the giant spider webs and do a proper search and there it was!
