Hot walk to this one today, really cool spot haven't seen those signs before! Cheers cobber.
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. After being in this beautiful State for nigh on three months it is time for us to head back home. Staying in Port Wakefield for two nights to grab caches in outlying areas. Up bright and early this morning to tackle some caches in the surrounds. We have bypassed Parham on previous visits but decided to correct that oversight this arvo. Really enjoyed the area. Thanks for the cache.
Traveling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using Geocaching as our guide. After 90 plus, days on the Geotrail we are heading west towards home picking up a few smilies as we go. Our last day in the Port Wakefield area saw us up early to make the most of the day with the Abandoned Railway series and Parham in our sights. TFTC The Wackys, we enjoyed, the walks in the bird sanctuary, the drives on the beach and the quirky little town. LNCU
TFTC. Definitely a dry weather track Easy find. Log signedStopped for a cuppa break and let geo pup "Cache" out for a run
TFTC The Wackys your cache Bombs and Lasers that we found today. We have moved on from Bute and now camped at Parnham. A late afternoon run out around Parham and out and back to Dublin. Found everything we attempted.Find Count: 18183

Out today around the Thompson Beach area, clearing up the caches here
Called into this one on the way.
An interesting track out to this one, with lots of churned up ruts, but was no issues for the Rolla to navigate.

TFTC walked here from the local campground. Interesting area. Unusual to see a bombing range near a bird reserve
Found it in the middle of the lake , hopped over the fence to grab it . We put it back where we think it should be .

Thanks for arranging and hiding. Good to be having a look around the area. Caching with Wollaston and SeasonedBird.

Lovely day to be out and about using Geocaching as a guide. Finished our harvest work at Viterrra and now enjoying some relaxing time on YP. Little deviation today to Parham and Port Wakefield bakery.

Up early today to get ready for a big caching day up North with JJ52, Earthlight and LíB. With packed lunch done and everything organized headed up to Port Wakefield with JJ52 to meet the others.
It was a weird day for weather rain, warm, sunshine, wind we had a good mixture.
It was great to find all the caches we looked for, excellent team work by all the crew made for a super enjoyable day out. The Sad Fisherman is no longer although we suspect there may be more to this series like a hat or a bucket to come.
Once The trail was finished Earthlight and LíB headed home leaving JJ52 and I to seek out a few more caches before heading home to complete Sunday night chores.
A great day with a good variety of hides and cleared up 2 dnf. Was lovely to see Goodlook, Erin, Alysse and CP on the trail.
Thanks to Fishy Tails for this fab pieces of artwork with some nice variety and all the other CO for their cache placements and ongoing maintenance.
Yep there really are bombs and lasers here. Interesting drive to get to this one. TFTC

After completing The Sad Fisher series and saying our farewells to earthlight and LíB Michells&hound and I headed south and found a few stray caches on our way home. [^]
As we had come to Parham to find a puzzle cache we thought we would get some of the others here while we were at it, even though the weather had turned cold and windy.
Lucky it hadn't been raining recently as the road was a bit dodgy in parts, but M&h got the little Yaris through without too much difficulty.
The cache was spotted as we walked towards GZ.
Thanks for the cache The Wackys.

13.08.20 tftc so after wandering around Parham all arvo this was to be my last cache, entered from due south along the dirt road , unfortunately it had rained, that’s ok it’s only 1 km, arrived at cache signed log and decided west was my best exit and walk the long way around to my friends house, scrapping my shoes as I went, that’s ok now only 3 km on this special day
It was smashing things or caching... guess which one Owl chose! She walked part of the way to this cache, as the road looked a bit soft for her liking and the owlmobile isn't much of a 4WD (as her husband is fond of reminding her). A quick find after a pleasant walk.
This evening following a work meeting up north, I decided to head a little further to visit a few small towns and get out for some exercise, after being cooped up working from home earlier in the day. Consequently, I called into Dublin, Thompson Beach, Parham, and Webb Beach, before heading home as it was getting dark. It was probably a little further drive than what I was anticipating, but it was still cool to be 4WDing along the beaches, and jogging around various parts. I enjoyed seeing the makeshift tow vehicles ("Jinkers") from collecting their boats at Parham, and it's a must-see unique sight!
An interesting border to have seen, I guess, but I didn't want to hang aroung too long. The coordinates were bouncing me a little, but the cache was in a logical place. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks The Wackys for the cache hide and maintenance.

Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.
Camped at Port Parham, today we ventured out and about using caching as our guide.
The guns are out in force today, could not get down onto the beach, but we were able to find this cache. Thanks The Wackys

Found out walking the dogs, great spot, further than I thought but lovely all the same TFTC
It was time again for a Wednesday Wander and I joined S.A. Sewer Rats and Blackadders for yet another meander north towards Clare. Once again it a circuitous route that took in Parham, Lochiel and Blyth was taken to try and rectify a few previous DNF's. I managed to find two from my list but added and two as well. Such is life! [B)]
The road has been closed from both directions so another walk was in order. [^] Just as well the 'road' was now a clay slush and we began growing taller with every step. A good couple of inches taller I arrived at GZ and made a quick find. Although several booms were heard as we walked the slushy track we were neither bombed or lasered! [:o)] Five minutes of boot cleaning required before we could get back in the geomobile to continue our journey. [B)]

Found with e.gregory1 while in the Port Parham area today. Thanks for the cache The Wackys!
FeatherWaite and I made a quick trip up to Parham today to find a few caches.
We had a particular interest in ‘Walk it #3 - Soggy Ambitions’ and had noticed that the tide should be just perfect later in the morning to make the walk without too much difficulty.
We arrived a little early, so wandered around picking up the other nearby caches, including this one, and watching the crabbers while we waited for the water to recede a little more.
Thanks The Wackys for the cache.

Found at 4:08 PM GAFF1.
Well that was a bit more successful than those 2 Creek caches - placed with excellent co-ords and in a very logical spot.
Thanks The Wackys.
Feedback: It is not a nano anymore - unless we found another cache that was a small placed right at GZ

Parham. We have set up camp at the recreation grounds.
After the lunch break we went for a tiki tour of the region, finding caches as we went.
Last one on our way home. The road seemed impassable so we walked the final 300m.

The first reasonable day in weeks so we headed out today to collect some caches and fly the drone to capture some footage along the coast. Hmmm the road has been closed from both diretions to this one, so we had to park and use shanks pony to get to the cache. By the time we arrived I had gained about 6 inches in height and a few extra kilos of mud on the bottom of my boots! Don't know if thi has been replaced since it was placed but the cache was a tad larger than a nano. TFTC
The long weekend presented the perfect opportunity for my wige (Tounga) and I to plan a quick get away.
So, we booked some accommodation in Moonta and decided to cache the upper Yorke Peninsula.
We had a great time, finding 129 geocaches in all.
Thanks for hinding your cache The Wackys, we enjoyed it.
I apologise for the generic log.

Out for a sunny day's caching with Mr Froghoppin.

and we made our way in while ducking lasers and dodging bombs.
Escaped unharmed to cache another day.

Clare007, HevWalker12 and myself were planning to tackle this one and SnapHappy and LocusCache came along for a laugh!! SnapHappy's FWD made easy work of the muddy approach however Locus was very spectacular in her feverish attempts to get bogged ......... oh .............. and we found the cache!!
An early start to a day out caching with CPWanderer & Clare007 in the Port Parham area. Snap Happy & Locus Cache joined us.
Locus Cache & Snap Happy have done this one so came along for support. Clare & I were in Snap Happy's 4WD which made it through the muddy area no problems but Locus Cache decided to take her non-4WD through an even muddier spot & got stuck. CPWanderer started to walk but to her credit Locus Cache got out of the bog. We found the cache though no longer a nano (Think it has been replaced).
This is where Locus cache & Snap Happy left us to fend for ourselves. 9 finds so far this morning & it's just the start. TFTC The Wackys.

Locus Cache & Snap Happy were keen to still tag along with us
Leaving CP Forester behind, havwalker & I jumped into Snap Happy's 4WD.
Looking behind us we saw Locus Cache's car dip into the mud patch & stick
Oops. We watched as CP get out of the car thinking he was going to start walking.
Decided to keep going to get the cache & sign in everyone,
when Locus managed to pry the car out the mud (knew she would) [^]
Later to find that Locus was confident of powering through the mud,
but enthusiastic Broadie planted himself in the way!
Always an adventure with Locus Cache, thanks for the cache The Wackys

Interesting little drive and a quick find. Thankfully it wasn't wet since it would have been a very different story if it had been!
No bombs or lasers were seen over the fence which is probably a good thing...

Staying at the free camping spot at Parham we looked for caches in the area. . . not too many! A fascinating place, this is like no where we've ever been before. TFTC The Wackys. Log was wet, left a piece of paper in a new waterproof bag.

Found on a stinking hot day; forecast was for 42 but out here the car temp gauge was saying it was 45 degrees; and windy as well. On the way out we passes plenty of CFS appliances heading North to the Bangor fire - what a dedicated bunch of volunteers! I think the ocean was around somehwere, but since it was low tide we had trouble seeing it! A quick find and cache is in good order.... dry..... very, very dry! TFTC, TNLNLSL
this kid is too good at finding nanos didn't even give me a chance to look
Out with 3LG for a PSA cache to help them to their 1,000 cache find.
A cold but dry night during which they ended up with lots of cache and I only got 1 smiley but aah, what a smiley it was
A good thing we were in Harry, as his extra drive power was required on a slippery spot or two.
Have driven past and seen this cache on my GPSr many times but tonight at 2.13am seemed like a great time to play Bombs and Lasers with the laser game specialists who were in Harry
A quick find despite the container size and as the log book was full, we took the liberty of replacing it.

A nice walk from the camping area. (Its a really great facility provided by the Parham community. What a pity so many pigs spoil it by leaving their rubblish around - had to clean up around the spot we chose before we felt comfortable.)
No mud today, quite the opposite with a hot dusty walk, but nice to stretch our legs after driving from Yorke Peninsula.

A slippery and muddy time to get to this one today - the cache owner would have been happy. TFTC.
Took the dogs for a walk after raking for crabs and picked this one up. Great little free camp ground at Parham- level sites, water, well maintained toilets and free BBQ. A quick find in the early morning after spending the night at the nearby camping ground. Wasn't quite game enough to head down the last bit of the track so walked the last 300 metres. Wonder what those horses in the nearby paddocks eat!! Should take photos to show our animals in their green grassy paddocks back home! Thanks.
Didn't detect any laser warners or fast moving objects on the other side of the fence. No plumes, or movement of any sort. Clear skies. Thanks to my Wacky friend. [:X]

I'd often driven past the entrance to the 'establishment' and wondered how far it extended - now I know. Fairly miserable looking terrain not suited to much else I suppose.
