We spotted Running Bear from our parked car across the road. He was not shy at all! Took small car for the geotoddler, Left bubbles and hid Running Bear away where i would have hid him. TFTC Cooroy Scouts

God, I hate 'em in fig trees. Went around at least three times before giving up. As I stumbled away, I literally put my poking stick on the cache. Heard the magic sound of a cache being poked and couldn't believe I'd missed it every time previously. Well, that's caching, so I SL/TN/LN and added a smilie instead of a frownie to my score. TFTC.
Captain Terror spend long time looking for Running Bear, use Digging Stick to look to no avail, Captain Terror soon to head off on great trip, but soon spot him, Running Bear hiding amongst Tree Roots and Dry Leaves. Running Bear had wet logbook, so Captain Terror dry him using Warm Radiator, logbook go back dry and signed. TFTC.
Also had the song by Johnny Horton stuck in my head while I looked.

I loved the container on this one. The log book is still wet unfortunately - but still signable. I put it in a new bag - but of course it is still wet somewhat! TFTC Cooroy Scouts
Easy find while on trip to Coolum. It was covered in debris, and a little damp, but otherwise OK. Thanks
Made a reasonable attempt on this one, but muggles kept driving by, and making the whole experience unsettling. Not sure if this is still there, no logs since July?
#801. Were passing by so stopped to look for this one. Trust walking pole soon struck paydirt. Dad parked within about 20m of GZ. TFTC.
Found it , took a couple of goes at this one , poked around a bit and there it was popping out !! Good hide . dropped off KAAs Badge collector ,TB , Might get some from the cooroy scouts !!
Found it after some searching. Don't know why it shoulf have been n easy find. I guess that is what makes for a good "hide".
Got it - nice easy find for a change. Great bear with nice feathers.
Lots of houses around with the possibility of muggles watching closely. Very disconcerting to hear "Watcha doin, Man" and to see several small children and an adult muggle in a back yard half way up the hill watching my every move. Quickly finished and left.
The cache was wet from the overnight downpour and the log was soggy. With muggles watching there wasn't the opportumity to dry things out.

The prospect of my 4th DNF this morning kept me going round and round. Finally I cracked the thermos and sat down with a coffee, and what do you know - the cache was popping up its head right next to my elbow. It's a Wonder what caffeine does for the Wits. TFTC Cooroy Scouts.

Found at 0930with Marg. Found quickly enough nice tree. Cache oK but log book is a bit damp.
We pulled up at GZ expecting an extensive hunt. That is one huge tree! What a magnificent specimen! We found the cache quickly, as it was completely exposed. Unfortunately, it hadn't been sealed properly and was full of water. The log book was safe and dry in it's snaplock bag, but all the swaps were had it (apart from the rock). We removed the soggy mess and put some new water resistant swaps in, signed the log and returned the cache, covering it as we left. Thanks for the cache!
586 Yet another one that we didn't bother trying to sign. The contents are damp after the last week of rain and the log book can nearly be wrung out. Nice warrior guarding the cache. TFTC cooroy scouts
Found quickly. Container contents were wet, so placed log book into a new plastic bag. Might need some maintenance. TFTC
09:44 Fond eventually container has moisture in it Might need some Silica Gel in it.
