I think I will "Temporarily Disable" this cache for a while until I can find a better nearby place for it. It seems to disappear too often. Also with a rat trap right on top of it now, it probably needs to move slightly.
had 4 of us looking high and low. Possibly when the council changes rat traps it dissapears...
Every time we're nearby there seems to be a shop in Port. Just my luck that the one day there isn't a ship in site, looks like the cache may have disappeared! Maybe next time CO might want to double check this one.
Searched hi and low on "object" to no avail. Gates had been up so had lengthy beer while waiting for ship to depart. Headed off home to nz later in evening so another day. Suspect micro missing as lookin g at previous photo's no way I would have missed eclipse sized container. Great spot, beer cold and meal later equally good.
Found with ned_q24 while waiting to board the sea princess. This was as far as we could get today
As we wait to board the Pacific Dawn we take a stroll and find the cache is over the fence, we will be over that side shortly and could easily sign the log, have sent CO my mug shot with the Dawn behind me as I don't want to risk it being mugged, giving a gave as I like how the CO has given this option of a photo log : ) TFTC
Well I couldn't really look for it. I arrived on the cruise ship Legend of the Seas after departing from the same location on the 30/12/15. But due to Customs etc the whole area is fenced off and access is restricted. I decided to log a did not find to register where we were and that I couldn't find it given I would have tried.
Heading to Eat Street Markets and looked up a couple of caches. No ships today. TFTC
Thank you. Cache in great shape.
I parked in wrong area but it was a lovely walk around.

Visiting the Eat Street Market today from the ferry terminal, and this cache is conveniently on the way Luckily no ships and not a lot of people here at the moment so we made this an easy find. TNLNSL TFTC
Last cache for 2016 here for the fire works and some fish and chips with Harry Noah and Louise tftc
Wow, what a great spot to reside with cool breezes, top views and heaps of eateries, TFTC ☺
Today was my third or forth visit to get this cache and every time there has been a cruise ship here, so I am finally going to log. TFTC
Came in on Pacific Aria this morning, and as we are staying nearby, went for a nice walk after she sailed away and the next ship comes tomorrow morning. Quick find in a quieter part of Portside. TFTC!
Came off Pac Aria this morning and staying nearby, so waited till she had sailed away and then had a nice walk to GZ while m4yb made a quick find.

Found easily with the good clue.

After seeing the new movie Everest and having dinner at eat street came down to this cache before going home . Went to the wrong one at first but found our bearings and get there. After pondering where it could be and tying to get the bolt off Jacob _Barton made the find . Thanks for the cache. Such a handy spot for people.
After work today, I made my way to GZ. Once there, I quickly located the cache. I took a seat to sign the log. Then I had to wait and wait for various groups of muggles to leave before I could return the cache to its hiding spot
Meeting up with some friends for lunch but had time to grab this one. All good here. The security camera overhead had me a bit worried though. Hope the security aren't the ones pinching the previous caches. Thanks Sunshine Toledo
First find on a recent trip to Queensland. Easy find, can be lots of muggles, pick a good time. Clues make it easy.
This is a little cache that I have been hoping to collect for some time. Today out on a little bike ride and decided to stop here for some lunch. I parked the bike nearby and made a quick check and find. I signed off the log and replaced everything before enjoying my Subway.

#9844. We hadn't stayed in this part of town before, and enjoyed our walk in the area. The passenger terminal is quite a complex, and was well worth a visit. We made a quick find, and then headed back to the motel. This was the last of our finds for this trip. We only managed about 20 finds over 4 days, but that's OK; catching up with family was the main priority. TFTC.
This cache was the last find for the day and we enjoyed the walk along the river to GZ. It was dark when we arrived, and there were some people nearby but no one was taking any notice of us. A quick find for StreetWalker then we took the log book to a nearby seat to do the paper work. Now to walk back to our nearby motel.
An interesting area, thanks for bringing me here and thanks for the cache.

No chance to search today - a cruise ship in and the wharf was all locked up securely.
After going to the Eat Street Markets for the first time, my son mazza151, my daughter pinkypie05 and myself decided to do this cache. There was a young couple nearby who seemed more interested in themselves than us thankfully. My son made the nice quick find. TFTC!
Tftc. A nice walk along the river after finishing a training course. This cache was a nice grab in a spot that I have visited many times BGC. A fancy military vessel was in today but access was not restricted so a quick fake shoe lace tie enabled me to find this cache undetected. Nice to visit the area again and looks like more change is ahead. Recovered and returned. TFTC.
Heading back from the dark side and I need to grab a cache. There isn't a cruise ship in so that will make it easier!!
We had grabbed a coffee earlier, which was lucky as it was quite cold and my hands were freezing!
Walking around the buildings, we headed in the direction our GPS was directing us and we're lucky enough that there were very few people about!!
I swooped in and retrieved the cache on the way past.
Putting it back proved a little more difficult as a young muggle had run ahead of his family and was sitting quite near GZ.
After a short wait though, the family had turned around short of GZ and the young muggle ran to catch up with the again.

'Twas a cold windy morning and that meant there were no loitering muggles on our morning of urban caching. Being from northern NSW, we visit Brisbane occasionally (this time for some 'alternative rock')and caching is a fab way to visit many places we would never go to otherwise.
Finally got to GZ, looked at various possibilities and didn't get it straight away - thought we would look what the hint may be and of course we then found it.
Thanks for getting us down here, lovely area to appreciate scenery and eat breakfast. TFTC ST.

I visited this on departing on the Pacific Dawn, with access restricted, so I have a photolog. Hamilton has become quite a cool place with the restaurants and river walk. TFTC.
Nice little place I didn't even know existed. out for a walk when this popped up saying I was close. Bought a pen from the IGA and went for a hunt TFTC.
Staying nearby overnight, wandered down by the waterside and found the cache while admiring the nice new area.

Well this one was a little interesting!
Found the only parking spot within the local area (I think). Luckily it was quite close to GZ.
Wandered through the maze of high-rise buildings to be confronted by a rather high fence with locked gates & a sign that informed us it was a 'Controlled Area'.
???
Decided to wander a little further afield & came upon a gate which was unlocked & open.
Made our way back towards GZ to find ourselves amongst several 'tourist' types with cameras & iPads clicking. Not to mention the pole-mounted security cameras.
Pretty sure we knew where the cache was going to be so we moved in & I managed to drop everything, pen, iPod & iPhone out of my top pocket which afforded me the opportunity to strike as I collected my belongings.
Signed the log, now to replace the cache.
Dare I try the same tactic again?
With a bit of a stumble, a backwards glance & and an awkward attempt at tripping, I cursed & went down on one knee.
I wonder how good the security cameras really are? LOL ...
Job done, We're out of here before I get arrested!

Found on the way to the Eat Street Markets! What an interesting place to come to! Couldn't resist getting this cache on the way back to catch ferry afterwards! TFTC
Arriving in Brisbane yesterday saw me have a look for my closest cache. Finishing work today and this one being a mere 500m away I walked on down. After a coffee and cake at the chocolate shop I made a very fast find in a deserted area.
Thanks for the cache
Cheers

Great timing to come for this one took the stroll from Brisbane tunnels great day for a walk but the next time I'm here will have to be to board a ship lol tftc
Maintenance Visit --It seems to have disappeared again so was replaced today. Please make sure it is hidden in the right spot, on the left.
Looks like this one has gone missing!! Can the Geo owner look at this to see if it's still around?
I headed to this cache after work today. Despite a lot of muggles in the area, I was able to do a thorough search. When I was unable to locate the cache, I PAFfed a friend who had previously found it. She confirmed that the cache is not where it is supposed to be. Could the CO please check on this one as I am reasonable sure it has gone missing. Thanks
Had a really good look for this one but no success.. may have been removed. .
Trying to escape the heat and catch a movie. Preferred movie sold out so had to wait an hour for another. To fill in time we watched a ship leave, then grabbed the cache. TFTC
Wasnt really looking for anything tonight but Found this bad boy chilling on the ground out in the open. Had no pen tho. Took a photo of the log and the title for proof. Cheers
At Portside for my work Christmas party & thought "I bet there's a cache around here!" Sure enough. Borrowed a pen from the waiter & hubby & I did a quick snatch & grab without being detected by surrounding muggled. MERRY CHRISTMAS.
Here for a work christmas party. Thought to myself, "myself..." I thought, this location deserves a cache. And there it was, and there we were. TFTC.

Replaced the cache this morning after we checked whether it was there or not. A new cache is in the same position.

My gps and the hint took me straight to the fire hydrant. I searched everywhere there and couldn't find it. I often have trouble finding caches. I need more practice!
