I do enjoy the ever so humble series and this is a great way to showcase some a little known part of Melbourne. A very cold morning but I was travelling past so made the quick detour. Thanks to Alansee for placing this cache.
A great attraction HOWEVER ...there is a lot of new mulch and bark so where is it?! Maybe I can return.
I love caches like this. Really great to see this house still here. And a very nice hide. Thanks for the cache! On a tour of the area with misspalot
This place gives meaning to tiny homes, I'd like to see how it's set up inside! Some quick sums and raindoctor comes up with the goods. Thanks Alansee, onwards we go, enjoying these quieter side streets.
Was checking through our stats and noticed we had 18 multi's for the month, they were a focus for a challenge cache, but then realise with only another 10 we could also complete the multi month challenge, so the aim was 10 more for Feb, due to a variety of reasons those 10 had to be packed into the last day of the month, so off I went. quick calculation at the listed co-ords, then a mild minute of panic as the area has recently being remulched, but I soon at the log signed.. TFTC
What an amazing house. It would take five minutes to do the housework. Definitely my kind of place
Nice quick multi.
Great little house.
Cache appears to have been undisturbed for a while.

I'm still confused why this relatively simple cache was so tricky for me to find... the 'multi' part was easy and the correct co-ordinates were found on the first attempt. Despite this, I still searched for several minutes in the wrong location until I switched to satellite view. It was only then I also took a look at the hint and after circling around the same area a few times I made the find. Cool house! TFTC!
To many Muggles around for a good look, the cottage is amazingly small for a family home. Got the clues from it thank you. Have to go back one summers night or on a weekend.
I attempted this one before the dollshouse moved and I had zero luck (there were plenty of muggles going to a basketball game). Then I tried again after our Taiko concert in December, again no luck. So I was super pleased to get it today. Found after Taiko rehearsal in the wet weather. I had to beat off some snails, but finally the log is emblazoned with the name "TeamUs!"
Find #3247
Had found a few others around this area over time but for some reason had never got to this one. Was passing back today after a few errands northside and managed to stop to take a look. Found the little house (very interesting but looking out of place next to the college buildings) and the required information without any problems. Once I had the numbers I was able to make the calcs and with the help of my little geocaching assistant we made the find pretty quickly. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the multi cache Alansee.

This took me back to my Amsterdam days of searching for the smallest house in Europe. Nice little multi this one. Cheers
I was running some errands in the area on a day off so stopped by to collect this teeny-weeny multi. I had actually attempted it a while ago, when it was in its previous spot, but hadn't found it, so it was nice to have a second opportunity. Much more easily found this time. TFTC
On my way home from an early morning caching outing with Mrs Black Duck and decided to call in and grab this on the way. Boy is it tiny. Lucky this was a nice quick multi as I really shouldn't have parked where I did. Thanks for showing us this was here and thanks for the cache.
After a nice afternoon gathering at a nearby brewery I noticed that this cache was only a couple of hundred metres up the road. So on the way back to the car I negotiated a detour to see if I could make the quick calculations. Luckily all the information was in one place and GZ not very far away. After a quick search I spotted the hide and was soon adding my name to the log before returning to the car. Thanks for the cache Alansee.
Today I arrived at the doll's house and hurriedly wrote down the required information, lest it vanish again and move somewhere else, Dr Who style.
Once I got to GZ I found the well hidden cache with nobody around, thanks for bringing me here!

New Years Day a great quiet day to grab a few caches, with very few muggles about.Grabbed the info needed while checking out the house, then wandered to GZ for a quick find.
Thanks Alansee for placing & maintaining the cache for us to find.

I suspect that this is the first time that a cache has had to be moved because a whole house was moved!
Fortunately it was found not far away and I was able to relocate the hide as well. It is a little smaller and the information and calculations are different, but not much else has changed and all should now be right.

With a spare 15 minutes before dinner nearby, I stopped to grab this cache . I arrived at GZ after a few wrong turns to find the dolls house had gone - gone I tell you ! So out went the call to previous finder who, as I suspected at this time of night, doing motherly duties. So while I waited I sent the co a message and tried an alternate source, and there I found the info, plugged in my GZ and went for a wander, I poked in a few places before I was joined by the neighbour - this is no place to beat around the bush about what I was doing, this is Collingwood ! , I quickly explained my reasons for loitering outside his fence and he looked confused (I trembled slightly, thinking a bird watching or fence inspection story might have been best) until he said "it's over here" and pointed it out to me. Phew ! I signed the log whilst my new friend and I had a chat about all things ... council! Council doesn't mow , doesn't look after the weeds, the over growth, etc. I got in a word about geocaching and the Dolls House, and my buddy pointed east and said "oh it's gone, they moved it finally , it's down there now" pointing.
A bit of a rejiggering required here alansee, thanks for the cache

I am having a go at the multi month challenge, which means exploring quite a few caches which have been scattered here and there. I'm glad though as o have been enjoying them. This one, was certainly one to enjoy - I'm not sure if have discovered this little treasure without a cache bringing me here. The doll house is no bigger than my first bedsit - bedsit living is certainly a rite of passage for British youth, who sit and eat pot-noodles and listen to music, while cats wind themselves round their ankles. Or at least I did. Till I discovered I had a shocking allergic reaction to cats and wound up in hospital. Then the cats had to go- and my dreams of being a mad spinster with 50 cats, with it. How sad. Thankfully the pot noodles were left by the wayside too.
I found the cache where I thought it would be and it was quiet enough to do the whole thing quite freely.

Brought here by Team Justice, who'd solved and found this multi a few weeks earlier. Was quite comfortable reading the details and doing the maths in front of Martin, but there's nothing worse than searching for a cache in front of someone who already knows where it is. After I started becoming ever so slightly irritated at his mirth, he resorted to "warmer, colder" to complete the humiliation. Great multi, great history... Thanks for another fascinating caching adventure Alansee!
Off to watch Geo_Ruby14 play a basketball final in the nearby school, we realised this multi was very close. GeoWife was impressed by the purchase price of the wee house while Geo_Ruby14 and I simply set off to find the cache. Once we worked out the figures and located the GZ there was a bit of disregard to the hint, but taking a step back and widening the search slightly came up with the goods. Geo_Ruby14 called out the coords were slightly off. True but a good find and her first multi, well done! TFTC

A great little cottage. I soon had the numbers required and came up with the correct coordinates. The cache was located soon after. TFTC
What an interesting place. It is hard to imagine living in a house so small. We tried to compare it to our lounge which was much bigger, where would all that stuff we collect today go? It just goes to show how much things have changed. Great cache and thanks for the info.

A nice close park to get clues and find the treasure. Took the unicorn leaving the leopard.
Now that's a fascinating little house. Found the necessary details without too much trouble and moved on to GZ. Sat for a little while contemplating potential hiding places, trying not to draw much attention to myself. Finally pounced upon the right spot. Thanks Alansee!
Ninth cache on our first day in beautiful Melbourne. Tiny house a curious find among the warehouses! TFTC
WillStanton6d and I had found a few caches in the area so we decided to walk back to the car and try and get a multi. Park neared GZ and quickly worked out the coordinates. We laughed at how close the final point was. Walked over and sure enough, there was the cache. A simple and easy multi but it was excellent to do and learn. Thank you Alansee!
Find #20 for my Multi-Month Challenge and Find #18 at 9.05am for my 24 caches in 24 hours using (mainly) multis challenge.
A quick find at this time of morning on a public holiday.

Found with a previous finder while caching in the area. I arrived and easily got the information. A short walk to ground zero and the cache was found with a few hints. This is another spot which I would not have found without a cache being here. Thanks Alansee

In the city on this perfect sunny day on a caching run in the area. Really enjoyed the visit to this smallest house in Victoria and learning of its historical significance. Amazing it still remains here after nearly 150 years! Other than a muggle on her phone eating her lunch nearby not many people around so found cache quite easily. Thanks for bringing us here!

Well on the way to get my stitches out of my back picked up a couple of caches in the inner city area which I haven't cache in before. An interesting location and artwork. It always amazing me to see what it would of been like for the earlier generations, a different time... Thanks for bringing me here.

A tiny, tiny house! Thanks for the multi and for bringing us here today Alansee. Admired the area and had a rest while I signed the log. Beautiful day!
Thanks for bringing me to this tiny cottage, which tells us a lot about the living conditions of previous generations. This humble dwelling is just as important in our history as grand buildings, such as Villa Alba or Como.
A late night cache run had me stop by this cache. What a fascinating history! I can't imagine what it would be like living in such a small home. As I stood before the plaque collecting information, a local saw me and we struck up a conversation. He began telling me of the local history and it was an enlightening time. A delightful fellow! Once he left, I visited the GZ and soon had the cache in hand. Whilst signing, the fellow returned and continued to talk history. Finally he left, I returned everything as found and left too.
Thanks Alansee. Informative cache.

Wanted to head to the city to find some awesome caches. Love the city at night tftc
On my way back from the G this afternoon and had enough time for a cache or two while heading for home. With a quiet gz, I grabbed the required numbers and than sat in the car out of the cold and worked out the final co-ord's, luckily it wasn't too far away and the cache was quickly located. Thanks Alansee for the cache and for showing us this truly interesting piece of history.
Finally, no muggles today! A nice quick grab in the end - needs a new logbook though, run out of space... TFTC and the education.
This house is a little small for me though!

This was the last of a few caches on my way home from a meeting at MSAC in Albert Park.
At this time in the afternoon I was able to get a parking spot near The Doll's House. I found the plaque with the answers to the given questions, calculated the cache co-ords, plugged them into my GPSr and then walked the short distance to GZ. After a brief search I found the well-hidden cache and signed the logbook at 5:05 pm. TNLN. After returning the cache to its hiding spot I took a few photos of the cute little house and the nearby graffiti art.
Thanks Alansee for this interesting multi and the very good hide. I hadn't seen The Doll's House before but it's just built for somebody of short stature like myself (lol). It was great to see some famous geocaching names in the original 2007 logbook.

I spotted this one on my lunch break yesterday and started to walk towards it but realized that I was a little bit too far away. So today I caught the tram a little bit further down and walked along the road. Amazing what is going on here. So many cafes around. Found the wee place and wasn't expecting it to be on its own. Made the find after a few minutes. Now the tough decision of where to have breakfast. I love Melbourne. Full of little gems. Tftc
More multis today to go towards my Multi Month Challenge. In town for a meeting and grabbing a couple of caches whilst here.
It amazes me how many places there are in this city that one has never seen. Another example of why I geocache.

Whoa! This sure is a tiny house. Approaching from the broadside, I did think it was quite short in length, then after gathering the required info, poked my head around to look at the front..... wow! I think our car is the same width! I hope they had a backyard they could spend some time in, I would be claustrophobic! Thanks for showing us this little place, and for the cache.
The plan had been to grab a few caches with a morning bike ride however the rain dampened my enthusiasm so I decided to have a drive around and fill in a few gaps. A wonderful little house. Thanks for bringing be here. A quick find. TFTC.
Not sure how people would find it without a GPS, great landmark though, had no idea it existed!
Suscoe's 5th find of the day as we wandered the inner suburbs trying out our new GPS.
It is working well and we are happy with our purchase.
So onto the cache, what an interesting place and we were surprised to see how tiny this really was.
A quick calculation and we found the cache.
Log signed and all good.
Thanks to Alansee for showing us this place.

What a tiny house, I can't imagine a family living in something so small. I love being brought to places like this, and find the history very interesting. A simple multi and quick find. Thanks Alansee
Ok, this time I found it Just didn't look hard enough last time as I felt a bit conspicuous.......silly me. Once again, thanks for showing me this neat little house.
I am ashamed to admit that this was my first multi after nearly 100 traditionals. It's caches like these that make me love this game. Thanks for taking me here.
It may be ever so humble but I humbly couldn't find it
Loved the little house tho......it'd make housework so easy!

It's a cache like this that makes me enamoured of Geocaching. Bringing people to points of interest while learning a little more about one's own backyard.
A satisfying cache with some quick problem solving, and in good proximity to the final location. Thank you for this little gem.

Quick find with Chobbz. Given the dimensions of this cute little house, we both thought it would have been fitting for the final cache to be a nano! TFTC!
Find 1048 at 00:10. I was out caching with Burge tonight on one of our usual night caching adventures. We decided to target the city fringe on this run to pick up some of the new caches in the area. All up we found 10 tonight and this was find number 9.
This was our only multi for the night and it was a nice and quick one. Interesting little house at GZ and it was fun to read up on the history of these in the description - I never really knew these small houses existed. Thanks for the cache, Alansee!

Sweet little house and a nice cache to find while taking a break from work. Three gorgeous snails attached to the cache, but it looked no worse for wear.
This is my first truly urban cache find, and I was paranoid about muggles the whole time. I felt very James Bond. Thanks! TNLNSL

Nice hide, and what a cute little house! Putting the cache back safely took a little while with all the muggles arriving for sport at GZ TFTC
I thought I'd nab a cache today for International Geocaching Day. One of my companions needed to be in Richmond this afternoon, so afterwards we went to grab this multi, to demonstrate to my companion what multicaches are all about. This one was quite straightforward, made difficult by an uncooperative GPSr. Thanks for this hide!
Not too much action around here on a cold wet afternoon. Dropped tb.
A nice little house but surely a difficult place to squeeze in to. On the bright side, however, it wouldn't take too long to do the housekeeping.

It is indeed a small house - thanks for bringing me here, Alansee.
I was there at the wrong time - I think he bell had just rang. Had to wait a while awkwardly before pouncing on GZ. The clue saved me a lot of time.

Today I was met with a spare Sunday, having done all of my homework for this weekend on the Saturday. Dad was free too, which only meant one thing. The question was: where to go? I decided to head up North and do a sweep as best I could across the Northcote/Brunswick area. Very minimal DNFs and a lot of new areas discovered meant a fun day was had in an area I have visited many times. This find was the 2nd of 23 finds.
Simple enough multi here. Didn't take too long to solve it and a quick find soon followed as well.
Nice one, thanks Alan
PS, sorry for such a late log (writing this on 1/9/13) but I guess its better late than never!

Found while attending a roleplaying convention at the nearby school, thus making it an extremely nerdish Australia Day for me. Thank you for the cache. Fascinating little building too.
nice to see such a house still stands just great to have a look around nice easy cache thanks
Hahaha what a funny looking dwelling.. its from a simpler time when home furnishings and large screen tellys were of little or no consequence.
A great example of the areas fast disappearing working class roots.
Thanks alansee for the cache.

A really hot day. Very thankful for this short multi, found quickly before retreating to the airconditioned car. My 99th multi, thanks
A slum is not a good place to live but then what are the alternatives to having a roof over your families head. This house is so small but thank god the house still remains as a reminder of how all those Collingwood supporters were bought up. A house that is only 9ft wide shows what can be done.
The sign on the side of the house was also interesting as there appeared to be sports facilities to receptions all available on the one property. Or have I read that wrong?
Anyway the bananas say thanks to Alansee for using an iconic property as the reason for more discovery while caching.

What a cute little doll's house! GZ was easily spotted but, sadly, it appears to be the local snail meeting place as well as the hang-out for the nearby students during "smoko".

Usually I avoid multis like the plague, but I thought this one sounded interesting so I gave it a go in the rain this afternoon. Interesting info and since I was on foot (and had already walked about 10km today) I really appreciated the short distance to GZ. Thanks for the cache Alansee.

Humble indeed... this was the second reminder of how good we have it these days on my walk through the inner north on Sunday.
When I had the required figures and had done the math, I had a quick look, working out where the cache was hidden... and discovered that it was in sight of the only people anywhere in the street: three lads playing basketball on the footpath. So I headed off to Collingwood station to play elsewhere.
Returning in the car this afternoon, there was nobody about, so I could quickly confirm that I'd guessed correctly, sign and be on my way. Thanks, Alansee.
