A nice day enjoying a leisurely driving north and south of Burra grabbing a few caches as we passed. Many thanks for the hide mabar????

10-Jan-24
So we had to take Bella home and if you are going to drive 3 hours north you might as well turn it into a caching adventure. We were in the 4WD so I got to choose some interesting tracks for Wayne to play on. Any caches that needed some attention got it.Thanks to mabar from mogni .

10-Jan-24
Not sure at all i get the name of the cache considering were gz is. Driving the back roads. Quick find.Found with Mogni. This was a very, very last minute trip.I found out that i had to be in the " clare region " the next day by lunch the next day on muggle business. After that business was over i headed up to jamestown to get a 2001 cache via any adventure labs or caches i haven't found before staying in a B& B in Penworthm. Now it was time to start heading home via dirt roads to Burra for the new Adventure lab and then down every dirt road/track with caches on it and the odd track that needed the hubs locked on the ute. If the cache was broken/eaten/smashed it was replaced with a new container and if the log sheet was wet it was replaced and if the log was full or almost full extra log sheets were added to the cache.

28-Nov-23
Headed down to the Towitta - Sedan area for a couple days caching. Day 2 started doing the Fruit Loop series, until continualness heavy rain come down. Slowly headed back along Murraylands Road to nearly Morgan before it stopped raining. There were many section of the road under water. All caches were in good condition unless mention in log. TFTCFound fairly quickly.

05-Jul-23
No party to be seen here today, only one quiet grave site. Cache easily found and is all good

Today after my own two events in the city I decided to head away for a night of camping, caching along the way mainly focusing on caches yet to be found around the Goyder LGA, by the days end I found myself camped up in Caroona Creek Comservation Park. A great day out enjoying the SA country side and found around 60 caches

Thanks for the cache

Yet another Puzzled Puzzler's Tuesday caching adventure. Cool Oh dear..we are a little light on for crew today. Just me and Mrs. SA Sewer rats.Twisted Never mind..we have a plan to find some unloved caches and get Rat qualified for an unloved challenge we want to do later in year. [8)]
The target caches were all up above Robertstown, so of course we took the long way, detouring to some unfound caches along a circuitous route. Surprised Before we knew it we were having a late lunch in Robertstown before we finally set about looking for these unloved caches. [8)]
Wowsa...could see this cache as I pulled up. [^] Quickest find ever! Took longer to take the picture of the cemetery. Surprised

**Thanks mabar for this cache. ** Big Grin

10-Jul-18
Brisal5 and Mrs SA Sewer Rat set on a lovely sunny day of caching.
WE had to targets for the day.
One was to get Mrs Rat to Qualify for Unloved cache Challenge in Victoria.
The second was to get her to the 28 caches to get her last Hidden Creature.
By end of the day Mrs rat was 4 short for Hidden Creature, and qualified for the VIC challenge.
Yay some more unloved time.
A quick find today. Tftc

Heading north from home today to convert some unfounds to founds and explore some backroads. It is sad to these places decay and disapear unloved. We found the cache easily. Sadly its hide had also deteriated and the cache might need to be relocated to survive. TFTC

Quick find for Geodaughter but muggles driving down the road, out with the camera taking photos of the scenery so do not look so out of place stopping here. TFTC

08-Oct-11
We loved the views out this way. So much so that we looked at the GPSr to find we'd driven right past the cache. Ooops, missed the party!

A quick u-turn and the cache was in hand. I appreciated not having to venture too far into that grass today as we'd already seen a snake crossing the road around here.

The cache is a little full, and the lid dosen't want to stay shut. Luckily the logbook was nice and dry, despite the bag being ripped. We placed the logbook in a new zip lock bag and returned the cache.

Thanks mabar.

18-May-10
It's a shame that these places fall into disrepair but as the descendants move out of the area or slowly pass on we suppose it's inevitable. At least there's a cache here now to let people know of the site. No party swaps with us so again we simply signed the log, thanks once again mabar for the cache

14-May-10

"Karma" was going to be the last cache for the day on my way home from work but how could I resistwhen the GPSR showed "Party Time" so close and it was not quite dark yet (hooray to daylight saving!). An easy find after a quick visit with the "local residents". It's sad to see these old cemeteries is such an abandoned and dilapidated state Twisted.

Found by Mary & David at 1640. A tomb with a view! How sad that there is not even a sign or a fence here, but you can still see the gate. Interesting to see the iris leaves and heather planted so very long ago. At least cachers visit. Our thanks yet again to mabar.

Coongie 09 Trip.6. I was a bit worried about the neighbors here, but the cache was behind a tree line enabling a safe recovery. I have lost count of the grave sites I have visited so far this trip. Thanks

We didn't try to open the gate to the establishment. So much history in the graves around this area all being neglected. Left a packet of party blowers and took the Cookie Monster as he had been partying there for a short time. Will send him on to eat more cookies elsewhere soon. Thanks mabar for bringing us out to this lonely spot.

23-Mar-08

The party line was on the ground. After my illuminating experience at Amazin Burra, I was not about to lift the phone...

The fallen gate....Mmmmmm.....know a spot for that....

Clear skies, TeamAstro.

22-Mar-08
One of a number of cemeteries the guys enjoyed loking at over the weekend. Interesting place for a party though...although the 22 month old decided to have a party in his pants while we were stopped!
Some great bright little swaps.

30-Dec-07
Definitely a drive by. A truck drove past not long after we pulled up and there was dust +++.

Thanks mabar.

30-Dec-07
With the mercury around the 40C mark, there wasn’t much partying around here today. There can’t be TOO many cemeteries in the mid-north that caching hasn’t taken us to. (I know that’s not even close – but we’ve sure visited a lot of them Wink ).
While filling in the log, a B-double rumbled past. Boy they churn up some dust [xx(]. Made no swaps and partied on [^]

26-Dec-07
Now thats a gate to nowhere.
Very nice like seeing these sorts of Aussie icons.
Grabbed a geocoin.
