It seemed only fitting that this should also end up being archived on an evening when orienteering was on at Mawson Lakes so that's it for this one. So long. And thanks for all the fish. ( or is that finds?)
looked for about 10 minutes and could not find. Was a nice quiet day with not too many people around so was able to get deep into the bushes.
We found this at 5.00 a.m. on the way to a huge day of caching in the mid north with Team Waldron.
We tried for the century but like the Australian Cricket team, that proved elusive and we had to be content with 60 odd caches for the day. I remember when you placed this cache so it was nice to finally knock it off. Thanks guys!

Don't know if this would be harder at night or in day??! I was there at night with alashfa to make the find but it took some stealth.
Security office is only a stones throw away and as soon as we pulled up at GZ the eyes were on us. Alashfa provided a suitable decoy while I crawled around out of sight behind bushes. Nearly gave up but found a good stick and was able to delve deeper and soon had in hand. Was bigger than I thought. Would have been easier if I could use my light to full effect.

Didnt bring my GPS to uni today, but using google earth and the clue I knew where I would find the cache. Took me a little longer than I expected though and I have some scratches on my arms to prove that I had been there - TFTC TSLS
Found while night caching with KimbaTheGreet. Took nothing. Left beaded worry bear (rub his tummy to forget worries) in yellow microcache left by KimbaTheGreet.
Logbook is looking very full. Needs replacing.

Left a yellow microcache (containing chasethatrainbow worry bear) ... so if anyone is maybe thinking they might want to hide a microcache
This one was slightly harder than i first was expecting.
Did this one at night too ... I think Security were starting to wonder what we (chasethatrainbow and myself) were doing, lol.
On a side note ... a new log book is required, as the current one only has about 2 spots left.

I'm sure my clothes dried every leaf on every tree and bush in the area whilst searching EVERY dang bush in the NE direction!
Grrr, lol, found eventually!! Pants were wet though

Found with FPN. Searched the wrong side of the bush after some false info from the geograndkid. Found eventually, and placed it where he said it should be. However, back at the car, I read the printout for this cache, realised it was in the right place all along, and moved it back again. Fortunately, no muggles in sight on this Sunday afternoon. Took "Pampering" key ring, left Kangaroo key ring. TFTC.
ok i read it wrong but i was the 1 who found it and im the 1 who read the print to see if it was on the left or right and im the 1 who went back and put it in the right place. TFTC TNLN.
I agree with Trigg - which bush??!!!
Looked in a few different bushes, under all the leaves, and also went right into where the big tree was, but did not end up with anything.

On a caching adventure with TBG. Once I figured which side of the bush was which, it soon came to hand. Thanks.

As a member of the Gangsters who invaded Adelaide over the weekend, we found this cache after a short search. I'm not really an orienteering person I'm more into rogaining. Not that either of those skills were used to find this today. The local security were a little busy today.
Thanks for bringing us here.

Finally able to tick this one off. We tried once before on a Sunday but there was something on in one of the buildings with the car park packed and not only lots of muggles, but a roving muggle security guard. No such problems today and we were able to park almost right on top of the cache.

Got it on my morning Walk!!!! - At last! Easy when you know where it is! I used the clue, various logs and persistance - its a hi-vis area.
The area was fairly muggle free when I arrived, and once grabbed I was off to sit in the bus stop to look at the loot - I had to wave off one buss driver.
Returning the cache took a bit longer, I had to coolly walk past the GZ because of an accademic muggle turning up, and walkled onto the golf course. Once the coast was clear I walked back, pretended to pick up a stick for the dog and stashed the cache - then I was off!
Took: Choo Choo Travel Bug
Left : "Remove Before Flight" tag
Glad to get this one.

We were finding it a bit hard to work out where to start searching as the sky birds were playing up a treat when we got here... So we started searching and then the security guard decided to come and have a look. Great, that is just what we wanted... So we move to another side of where we are searching and BINGO! Sometimes muggles are good.
TNLNSL TFTC, find #516 for Echo & Spice.

Everything was strangely quiet around the campus today
Public holidays are wonderful caching opportunities
The sheer amount of shrubbery at GZ had me wondering about how long I could hang around without security noticing me though [:o]
Fortunately I knew my SW from my ESE and soon lifted the right branch and spotted a cache hiding within
TFTC, I left the "Choo Choo" travel bug and I took the Cinco de Mayo geocoin and will grab it just as soon as I can get a powerful enough magnifying glass to read the tracking number

Finally found on the 5th attempt! Previous attempts thwarted by heavy muggle activity and one or two occasions of not being able to find it. JadedOptimist08 was instrumental in pointing out the location where we had failed to find it so many times before. Finally our nemesis is defeated! TFTC.

Cache #14 on the final day of 2008 - part of the CMB cyclocache tour of Mawson Lakes - a 10km loop nets about 15 caches on a good day and today was thankfully light on muggles wise.
Luckily, middle of the xmas hols and not a soul around, apart from the cache money bros and the cache munky.

Had a quick look around today, but had 2 sleeping kids in the car so didn't want to get of the car. I will be back...
It took 2 goes to get this one as almost every car in Mawson Lakes decided to park in the carpark. Went back Friday night a 19.30 hrs and found the cache. Left enough blood for a blood bank donation but this is sometimes part of caching!!!

No tears were shed looking for this, but we did see a few oriental ppl around here. Caching with Lead of Lead'n'Lace. TNLN TFTC.
Located in the company of APTY while on a break from a work conference at the local function centre. Checked out the bush and found the item only to be sprung by some muggles as we stood up. Had a brief chat to explain the concept so I trust they left it alone.

After three days of caching over here the back of my hands are cut up and scratched. This cache posed problems in that area but my old orienteering skills came to the fore when I deciphered the clue as I was able to find the correct corner of the bush and escape unharmed.
Thanks Irac.

More damn shrubbery caches. You guys down here in Adelaide seem to love caches in scrubs and mysteries, what's with that?
Anyway, MADSTARS and I found it @ 0745, logged it and moved on before too many muggles turned up for work. TFTC.

Tried to do this one on the first night it was out. We were with friends that lived nearby, however our late night search did not reveal the cache. More success today especially good as there was no one around while we searched around carefully so as not to disturb the growth. Thanks Irac-
Accumulating leaf litter thwarted a quick find - the bane to a late break in the season! Thanks for the cache Irac-.

Orienteering was one of the sports we tried before stumbling on geocaching, the main problem being the timing of organised events .
No problem with timing today - we made it early enough to find the cache before anyone started work/school.

Left Dreamcatcher geocoin & put the log book in a new bag (couldn't believe we didn't have a keyring).

found on cyclocaching trip of Mawson lakes with Self power. TFTC. left a very cool geocoin!
It's nice when you return from leave to find that there is a new cache near work[^]
Had to pick up a friend from Uni, so was able to park near GZ and use Cal, who I'd just picked up from child care nearby for cover for looking in the bush; whilst waiting for my friend to arrive.
Fortunately I spotted the cache straight away, so the many muggles waiting for a bus didn't notice me, and there was no security staff loitering around enjoying the fresh air.
I often spot orienteering around Mawson Lakes as the local school regularly does it. They have a checkpoint on the fence where I work and look out to. I often see the boys searching for branches and bark to hide the checkpoint after they've found it - Cachers in training[?]
Searched through the contents but no geocoin.

P.S Can Orienteering be considered an Oriental sport[?]

Always pleasant to have another cache close to work. However, the GPSr always wanted us to be metres north looking at the NE side of another bush, right next to a parked car. In the end, Adrian Mc pointed out the correct one while we were doing an exchange yesterday . I'm afraid caches in a bush don't do much for me - especially when there are so many in which to search! However, we came up trumps today. Took the Wrest Point Casino TB - I mustn't've dug deep enough to see the coin .

It's been a bit of a tour for me today. After spending most of the day on the southern beaches I find myself inland and north. I was quite looking forward to this one but the 'in a bush' thing just doesn't light my fire. I've been out here a few times now looking for caches. Gee they pack those houses in around here.
Tough area to cache in
