Had a good look around here but nothing found. Found where we thought it should be based on the hint but could not locate.
Out for a Saturday morning can caching stroll /drive with Jessflett before the day gets too hot...
Had a good scratch around but nothing to show for it !!!

Camping here again and was looking for a place to drop a tb and this looked like it.
Log is dry now. Left cache upside down to see if that helps. Could do with a new Ziploc really.

Found on an early morning dog walk. As previously mentioned, log damp. Thanks for bring me here.
When our mechanic closed his business (for family reasons) & took a job in Rangiora. This means that when I bring the car out for a WoF or service I need to do something to fill in my day. I've run out of Rangiora caches within walking distance, but they have loan cars! Today I travelled in all directions but South, finding 34 caches (& not finding 3). I'll apologise now for the cut & paste logs, but I'll try to add a bit about each cache here:
A nice (short) walk and an easy find as expected from the hint.
Unfortunately Tupperware isn't as watertight as people think. The log is soggy, though I managed to get my name on it. Given I wasn't in my geomobile I only had a pen and a pair of tweezers on me so couldn't do any maintenance, sorry.

Had to go back couldnt find it after bad weather but found it today as there was tape around the area but easy find today
A quick stop here on my way south after a great weekend in Blenheim. Didn’t take too long before my name was added to the rather tatty log TFTC
The first thing I noticed about this cache is the incorrect terrain rating. I believe it should be updated as I expect wheelchair users are reliant on these to plan their geocaching activities; I believe 2.0 is appropriate here. It took me a minute or two to work out where this treasure was hidden.
Didn’t understand the clue but spotted the cache eventually. A brand new tent is pitched in the shrubs 5 metres away. ??????Why?????
Found this cache damp and manky and log damp. Left temp RITR log here. Cheers
Its Waitangi day and its the Ashley River Mountain Bike Trail today. We park Toby at the mouth to the Ashley and Zara to our start point. Now its on our trusty steeds Jack and Jill to travel this bike trail.
Its Waitangi Day - day one of a five day weekend exploring the amazing Canterbury, with The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby, Jack and Jill. Two days Rangiora, a day in Lyttleton and 2 days in Banks Peninsula. I got call from The Seagnoid, hes taking a long weekend. Lets go to the West Coast! Lets Go!! but maybe not the West Coast - rain on the way. So lets go to Canterbury. We leave for Christchurch Tuesday evening after picking up The Seagnoid after work. We make camp for the night at Amberly. Today its off to Rangiora for a cycle trip.

Trating is still wrong! This took a bit of hunting even though we guessed correrctly what we were looking for. Grabbed the TB.
Down to Christchurch with Taybeedragon, Zara and Toby for a five day weekend starting Waitangi Day (which this year fell on a Wednesday. I reckon half the country would have been taking 5 day weekends!). Three days in Rangiora. We did two cycle trails there - having two vehicles makes it so easy. One of those cycle trails was fifty caches. Fifty caches in one day on a bicycle! Then a couple of days exploring the back roads around Akaroa. Darn close to two hundred caches in all. Dropped off a lot of path tags along the way, especially if the cache was nice and dry.

Very clever hide, had the 4 of us really looking and repeat. Signed log as Girl Power which is made up of Busy Paws, Coconuts3, Jude_E and lytteltonwitch. Thanks for the cache Woolfienz
A very good hide but this needs a correction on the T rating, this is NOT wheelchair possible!! Log signed as girl power, 4 cachers having a great day out. TFTH
A good hide but the terrain rating is not right. Not t1. Down a bank. We widened our search quite a bit before spotting it. Quite well hidden at the moment. Thank you! #3591
That took us ages to find so we were really pleased to finally get there. Success for the Girl Power team of Busy Paws, Coconuts3, Jude_E and lytteltonwitch.
On our way back to Christchurch we spend a night in that area and took the chance to find some containers after dinner.

#6248. I decided to drive north today to visit Waikari to do the old cache near the Moa hunter rock art to fill another hole in the NZ Jasmer Challenge. While driving back I noticed my GPS was no longer functioning. I had dropped it in mud earlier in the day and washed it off at the Waikari rest rooms. But clearly the GPS is no longer waterproof as the screen was now full of moisture and the GPS was not picking up any signals. So changed over to my smartphone app and used this get me to Glentui. I had to search blind for the old letterbox cache as I had a non-functioning GPS and the mobile had run out of juice soon after arriving. Amazingly I managed to find the old cache with just the hint as my guide.
I sat in the car thinking my caching day was now over but changed the batteries in my GPS as one last option. Amazingly after three attempts at starting up the GPS picked up a signal again and displayed the map. But the screen just had a tiny clear patch in the centre. So had to virtually drive down the road on the GPS map to find caches from this point.
Drove over the Ashley bridge and parked in the reserve. Headed down to GZ. Very hard to get the GPS to settle and see where it was pointing. It eventually settled on an object that fitted with the hint but there was nothing there. So widened the search finding a dead rabbit and loo paper but no cache. Finally I spied a container some 5m away lying at random under the shrubbery with no cover on top. It was the cache. Pretty sure it had been found by muggles. Signed the log and replaced it where the GPS was showing the best fit with an object that matched the hint. Thanks for the cache Woolfienz.

A very enjoyable autumn bike ride on a sunny day with 8ManAfter and Akira. Many thanks.
Parked over with our campervan, this was one you need to take as it is so close . On our way to the A&P show in ChristChurch.
What better way for a 5yr old and a 7yr old to spend part of a day, especially when they not only did they"discover" a cache, but got really wet in a safe river tributary!!! Thanks for contributing to a fun afternoon.
My original plan involved caching somewhere else for the weekend, but winds interfered, and gave me an opportunity to cache closer to home. So out I went for a few hours of caching, and had great fun. I ended up with small rocks, dirt, and vegetation everywhere on myself and the car Definitely worth the fun! TFTC!!!
Btw the T rating may be a bit low. Not that it is hard to get to, but there is no way a wheelie cacher could get there.

Today Injeanious and I started early and left home at 7am aiming to complete our biggest geocaching day ever. We started in Templeton before heading to Thompson Track and Rangiora. Altogether we found 126 caches in 14 hours. We had maybe 3 DNFs all day so felt very successful, although very tired.
Thanks to all the cache owners for helping us with our great day!
Sorry for the cut and paste logs but there were too many caches to log individually.
We signed our logs as JeJe to save time and space.

Jess.daphne and I decided to beat our personal best caching day of 51 finds and try to get 120. We did better than that coming home with 127 finds! We started our mission at 7 am heading to Thompson's Track, then we went up to Rangiora before getting home just before 9 pm. An epic day. Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining the caches. We signed our logs as JeJe (and JeJeBu when The Burnsey joined us). Sorry for the cut and paste logs. Took a short stroll to get this one. Tftc.
Replaced wet logbook. The container is still very strong
PLEASE BE SURE TO PUT LID BACK ON NICE AND TIGHT

A quick find with the 3yr old. Thanks. Cache was wet inside this one needs some love.
We went to plunder the treasure, but it has already been plundered. Nothing really in the container. A good find. Signed the book and onto the next.
