This evening, I travelled to the Adelaide Hills to Aldgate, to primarily complete the *Valley of the Bandicoots* Adventure Lab. I had been in the area a few times in the last 12 months, and so it was a chance to visit a few more locations that had geocaches attached. A moderate temperature evening that was good to walk/jog around the various reserves and parks.
I actually thought you could drive to GZ, as there seemed to be a track to here, and the past logs all mentioned about quick finds and "another day another drive" etc. However, I decided to make a walk of it passing by another indirect route. It was only when I returned back to my car, that I realised that there was a locked gate right next door, so it was a good decision to keep walking to this one.
Once at GZ, it did take a few minutes searching nearby trees for this one. I think I ended up searching every other tree around GZ, before eventually stumbling on the right tree hide. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks team lulu_jt for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

With only two of the puzzled animals available on our usual wednesday wanderings an attempt was made by a Rat and an Adder to get a few more smilies in our other group members area. Thankyou for the cache team lulu_jt found 16 December 2020 16:33

There are some "Oldie" caches in the ADL Hills and i love finding them. The Old Gentleman / OLd Lady Caches here. It's great to see the continued upkeep of them, keeping them going [^]
Unfortunately today, this one found upside down in order to keep rain and water out, had a completely soaked through, log book [;o] However the Geocaching notes, paper was dry so i found a blank space on it and signed that.
SL at 11:38 on Mon 3 Aug 2020.
RE-hid the cache as found so the log book may dry out.

The cache was found with the lid completely open and a swimming pool inside. Drying out was impossible in the time given so to prevent mould we left the container upside down with the lid off to drain. A lovely spot so hopefully someone can pop by to remedy - thanks so much for taking us here today.
Tftc tried to sign but it was very wet and container full of water. It needs maintenance
Wasn’t going to bother but glad I did. Found it and took a photo to prove it . Great little walking area.

We are over on holidays from Melbourne, we spent a couple of days in Robe and then headed here to Mylor to stay a night in the Hills. This was the third cache we found after checking into our accomodation, the road to the entrance to the park was a bit scary for JMelb but anyone else would think it was fine! Lol Nice easy walk to GZ and nice easy find once there. Wish we had more time to explore this park further but it was almost sunset.

Today fluffymaxi and I needed to find 23 geocaches to finish the Mystery at the Museum souvenir challenge. We targeted caches needed to fill gaps in the Jasmer grid (3) and the hidden date grid (20) and had a couple of spares up our sleeves in case of DNF’s, which there were a few.
This cache was our fifteenth find of the day. A nice walk in the conservation park.
The lid of the cache is now damaged and won’t seal, but despite wet weather the contents are still in good condition. We put some extra cover on top to try to keep the lid in place.

Thanks team Lulu_jt for this cache and bringing me here. Rode in on my motorbike and parked near the track entrance. Nice walking through the trail to get to the easy cache. Cache in good condition and dry even though lid is a tiny bit warped. I must come back and do the trail properly one day. I was going to leave a TB but thought its find frequency was a little low.
Easy find on a short stroll around Mylor Conservation Park after parking at the oval.

Catching up on logging after a day out caching with my geomum, Doctor Owl, as I was in town, which means we just have to go caching. With no real plan for the day other than needing to do some maintenance, we wound our way through the hill until I did some calculations and realised I was only 5 caches away from my 600th cache so naturally the plan for the day developed into making sure I got my 600th cache.
Doctor Owl was looking at a different suspicious pile of bark when I spotted a big bit of bark a tree or so over and thought 'If that isn’t covering a cache then I don't know what is'. I was right.
TFTC.

Owl's geodaughter was in town and that means caching! What started as a maintenance run (with lots of caching along the way) turned into a chase for her 600th cache. It was achieved and there was much rejoicing! This was one of the last few and a nice walk.
Went for a short geocaching expedition on this cloudy day.
A nice park that I had no idea existed, hiding spot was amazing!
Thanks for the cache!

I was somewhat hungover today so it wasn't till late afternoon that I ventured out with the geodogs. This was quite the pleasant walk. I'll return when I feel better to chase down the Craftime cache nearby.

Visiting from Melbourne and staying with family in Aldgate for few days. I have been using some spare time to grab a few caches.
This cache was easily found after a pleasent walk along the tack. Muggles turned up before I could replace the cache so a little patience was required.
Thanks lulu.it for placing this cache.

We were surprised when we parked our car to see a rather substantial structure. We wondered if scouts or guides used the facility although there were no signs to that effect. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition, Thanks lulu_it for the hide and for bringing us to this interesting reserve.
Caching with TT016 who are visiting for the weekend.

beautiful conservation park.
shame about all the damned ANTS!
geo wife got a big nip on the top of her foot.
a few choice words went flying to say the least.
a painful walk back to the car then ice applied.
other than the ant incident it was truly lovely here.
