Found on the way past this arvo grabbing some caches while headed to Barmera. All good here, cheers.Find #7121 on 18 Nov 2024.TFTC crane2!
Took a drive to barmera to visit an open garden, kids wanted to cache and called in to pick up. Never knew there was a racecourse here. TFTC
Enjoyed a walk in but jumped a mile as the 6inch huntsman was reavealed under the cammo. TFTC! Track looked to be firm today
While travelling through the area we picked up a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
A muddy walk to this cache due to the rain/floods. Caches and contents were very good.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Yep we found the road as per hint entered found the cache and even found a quiet resting place nearby TFTC
Found while travelling to the Tri-State Community Events and International Geocaching Day weekend in the Riverland. Thanks for the cache crane2!
Another cache found with richlink on our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
A bitterly cold day today but that didn't deter us from our quest to find more On Your Bike caches and others along our route. Thanks for the cache.

Out on a very cool day with iluvtrekking grabbing a few hides while ranging from Loxton. Thanks crane2
Out and about on a glorious Autumn day - Quick find as cache was out in the open. Have replaced at coords. TFTC
TFTC. Today is our last day in the Loxton area before we move back to Maryborough,Vic. We had eyed of the caches along Gogel Rd and up to Kingston. It was now or never. Hopped into the Geo-mobile and away we went. All caches found in good order.
Great find, my middle son found quite easy, and had to resist the eurge to take a lil trinket, and the track is a bit of fun to go around even in a van
Caching has fallen by the wayside with everything that has been going on, work, lockdowns, blah, blah...so we needed to get away for a bit of R&R after lockdown so headed to Loch Luna for the weekend to refresh and cache! Today we packed up and headed home clearing out a few caches on the way. Wow..Never noticed this before. Thanks for bringing us here! TFTC
On our way to Tununda for a Deluxe Glamping Tent , then onto Adelaide Hospital. Our 1st SA cache since Covid set in. Enjoyed the nice leg stretch to find this one. Nice hide TFTC
I found the course today to be unfit for racing but found the cache easily Both Phetlern and Suscoe headed for home early this morning so Bushfire and I headed off to see if we could land a very big fish. We were very successful at this, much more so than catching those wet and slippery ones. We were so successful that we also had time to find many more caches around the district too. Another great day with the ever helpful Bushfire even if I did nearly freeze early in a bitingly cold wind I have much to thank him for as he provided the vehicle, did all the driving, provided fruit cake, and a big warm jacket which saved my life, to say nothing of his good company TFTC crane2
As I am getting older and running out of time, I have decided I will take off on my own to cache in different areas of our vast country as my NGW (Non Geocaching Wife) has no interest in caching.
I have been in Loxton for five days of full on caching with suscoe, au.fait and Phetlern but suscoe and Phetlern have hit the road for home so that leaves only au.fait & the ageing Bushfire to head out to do the wandering heroes Fishy Tales and a few other caches.
I am afraid that for the next few days my logs are going to be a lot of cutting and pasting but that does not take away the effort that the owners have put in to provide these caches for us to find so please accept my thanks. With close to 200 caches placed I know how much work is involved with not only placing them but the ongoing maintenance.
Very cold morning but we kept plodding on cache after cache until the day warmed up.
Thanks, crane2 for placing this cache.

An interesting area! It was very dry underfoot today. Hopefully some rain will come one day! The cache was found and with the signing duties done we were off to check out the cemetery! Thanks for highlighting the area! A cool piece of history
Another good cache found with woolwood9 today.
We really enjoyed the drive around and thanks for putting this cache out to show us the area.

First cache for a while that involved a detour along a bitumen road. Yeah!!!!!
Noticed part of the track with its broken rails as we headed along to this one. Smashed windows in the building too. Did wonder if it's still used as a training track though as from what we could see the track didn't look overgrown with weeds.
After a bit of a wander the cache was found.
Thanks.

slowly leaving berri and heading for the Lets Kayak ... Murbko event. quick find.
Out for a drive this afternoon after a couple of hours fishing trying to get a few of the close to Barmera caches that I hadn't found. [^]
Found a park and then went for a short walk to GZ. Cache was found easily and even noticed a couple of people walking around the track.
Thanks for the cache crane2.

The container was showing signs of weathering so I replaced it with a 1 litre Systema container covered in grey tape to help keep the ravages of the weather.
Barmera Carp Fishing comp gave us a reason to cache around the area today. Beautiful area. TFTC
Once again we are touring Australia and caching as we go!
Thanks crane2, your hide is much appreciated!
Cheers from Canada!

A different looking racecourse that is for sure. Found on my way home from Mildura. TFTC
On our Easter Weekend break at KOM we decided to do a few (a lot for us) of caches to get to our 4000th this weekend. This will be our quickest 1000 so far, helped having 3 months off work last year.
This was a quick find when we left the campsite TFTC

Arrived here in Moorook after our tedious drive from Loxton on our way to Alice Springs for the Event over Easter, if we ever get there at this rate. I had 2 caching sessions, one before and one after lunch. Both were great runs and I congratulate the COs on placing and maintaining the caches- a job well done.
Please excuse my generic logs as it is hard to remember the finer details when logging so many.
All logs were either signed or stamped in the morning run and as I forgot my stamp in the afternoon many were signed as SG as I often do to save space.

Quick and easy find.
Found this one while travelling thru the Mallee, on the way to check out the flooding Mighty Murray!
I found the cache lying on the ground, so I re-hid it were I think it belongs.

On travelling up this morning I made the find of the nearby memories cache and was surprised on the way back that I had missed this one so had to pull in to make this find.
Amazing what little gems are hidden round the place that you drive by often and don't know they exist.
Parked nearby and wandered into GZ and after walking round for a bit made a find. Signed log and replaced. Back home we go having now visited the Kingston on Murray Racecourse. Wow.

Beautiful little hiding spot. Thanks for the cache. We took a plastic diamond ring (biggest diamond I'll ever get) and left a pair of girls sunglasses.
What an interesting spot, had no dea it as here - how often do we say that whilst out caching?
Thanks crane2
Thanks crane2
Decided to have a day by myself so dropped the Mini Greeno's off at school/kindy and took off to find some cache's I hadn't managed to get too yet. Was really hoping to hit 100 finds today but had to get back in time for school pick-up and didn't quite get there but made a new PB of 63.
Mr Greeno actually did a heap of work on the racecourse many, many years ago! TFTC! And cheers for the path tag The Wandering Drew!

Spending the rest of the week up at Cobdogla, so what better way to relax than going geocaching!
Picked up a few of the caches that had been on my list for a while now, great to be able to mark them off.
Got an early start this morning, and found a total of 12 caches this morning, with this being find number 3 for the morning.
Grabbed this one after "Memories on the Murray" but there didn't appear to be any races on today, oh well, perhaps tomorrow
Thank you crane2 for a great cache!

Camped at Loxton, grabbed a few caches in the morning, and had the afternoon off.
We enjoyed the scenery, and picked up a good variety of hides.
All caches were located quickly, signed and replaced as found.
Many thanks for placing this cache, crane2, for us and others to find.
