Time to go! The original hiding spot (strainer post) is no longer standing upright.
Found before the Welcome Frogs to Clare event. not the expected container. I guessing this one is a throw down.
We found several caches here when we got to the correct elevation. One was just the remnants of a poly bag and old cache but then at he other end we found 2 caches presumably both throw downs signed both TFTC
I earned the terrain points and perhaps one or two more. Quick find once at GZ
Nice view up here.
Last of 116 finds for the day on my way to Clare.
Thanks

On me drive out of the Clare Valley this morning, I stopped here
The geomobile was parked within 20 metres of GZ
Except that the walk to get to GZ was more like 200 metres, unless you have a rope [:o]
A few minutes later, way up above the traffic cruising past below, I soon tracked down this little cache
Surveying done !!
I'm headed for Blyth, and beyond !!

Today we travelled from Auburn to find some of the caches in the Clare region. We travelled past many vineyards the grapevines all waiting for spring to start their new growth.
We went to many locations with spectacular views over the are. A very large variety of caches found.
Thanks for placing this cache team ransid

Quick stop on the way home from Peterborough. Bit slippery but I got there lol. Beautiful views. TFTC
After completing our 2nd trip around Australia, we are now going up through the center.
Currently camped at Auburn, and drove to Clare to cache around the area.
Geo-wife did the climb, and found cache quickly, but was container was cracked and contents wet.
Put in a new cache with a new log (in a plastic bag), and left old cache for CO to pick up.
Many thanks for the hunt today, team ransid.

Not sure what was more challenging, the climb up or the slide down! Geokids tried but ultimately it was geodad who made the climb and the find. TFTC!
went to do this cache and realised it was one of the first caches we did a year ago!! haha TFTC
Did a trip from Clare to Blythe and Balaclava to see the sights and picked up some caches on the way.
Found myself having to go on another little hike up hill. Got to GZ and was looking for the same sort of hide as the previous three so took a little while to locate. Thanks for a great series team ransid.
South Australia 2013 with Sol de Lune. We headed off on 12/4 and arrived home on 28/4. The trip was to visit the SA series so more time could be spent at the Mega itself next year. We did a huge variety of caching around Murray Bridge, the Mid North, Yorke Peninsula and Whyalla Region. Apart from one wet night and two wet days we were able to spend heaps of time caching.
Today we were off to the Yorke Peninsula, the original destination for this trip. We spent the whole day driving only as far as Kadina, but we went via Clare and plenty of rail trail caches. Everyone has done a great job of placing a great variety of caches and we had a great day.
Thanks.

Third of the Survey caches, and although not a multi, the GZ was still a fun one to get to. Thanks.
Grabbed with Albida on our 2 week caching run from Canberra to, and around, different parts of South Australia including Loxton, Murray Bridge, Tailem Bend, Yorke Peninsula and around to Whyalla before heading home via Broken Hill, Cobar and Parkes. We completed a few power trails and left a couple to do when in the area again for next years Mega event.
Overall a great many different styles and types of caches found. A great time was had caching for 16 days straight as well as camping along the way.
Thanks for adding to the fun with this cache.

Rocked up to the car park and it was pointing up there... took a massive run up and got to the top in one motion... wooohoo.. great view from up here.

Some of our more adventurous crew went in search of this in difficult terrain!! Sore bums from sliding back down all around! SL TFTC! (and dont forget the pen next time...tricky to throw it that far!).
Yes Yes Yes Rachel enjoys being one of the kids and gave the adults entertainment as I went down the hill Bear Grylls style, although I was told I looked more like turtle man instead-thanks guys. Anyway what would caching be if I did not give it a go. I love these kind of adventures, thanks team ransid for the cache
A quick easy find while on a caching weekend out with Team Jacob & 6-Tayls. Was fun to watch Rachel from Team Jacob slip and slide down the hill, gave us a giggle. TFTC
Found whilst "mopping up" after the June Long Weekend event. There are so many caches, we didn't have time to do a lot during the weekend, so today was a relaxing day to find a few.
This was our RunCount0th cache in our caching run today - and we found it at around 12:46.
(So this is our 43310th total find.)
We're becoming mountain goats!!
Took: Nothing
Left: Nothing

Found during the CCC2 long weekend event. Not entirely happy about stopping on a corner like that, but managed to get off the road without getting bogged in the mud. Scrambled up to the top to survey GZ, and found a cache.
TNLN - Thanks Team Ransid!

Definitely sent geohubby up for this one. Played catch with the cache when he realized I had the pen tftc
o my god we thought we had killed a baby bird with fright when it fell out of its nest as we scrambled for this one!! the mum flew away and abandoned poor baby but by the time we left left baby was safely ensconced in the nest even tho mum hadnt reappeared!! me and bobby g!!
Today while our Gang was out caching we replaced this container and log now its all New, No more leaks or wet logs we hope. Thanks to Geomum's Op shopping she found the exact same container.
This afternoon I went out to hunt a few caches while Mr Bushies2 rested after his bike run on the RT series..searched a while before found the clever hide. Thanks team ransid.
The log was in a plastic bag, but looked like it was more mould than paper.
I logged my find on a scrap of paper and put it in the bag.
Thanks Team Ransid.

Found the cache ok, getting to it & back down was the biggest challenge. SL TNLN TFTC
Found in a suit. Climbing up was the hard part, especially since I had blisters the size of eggs on my feet from the City to Bay.
The cache seriously needs some maintenance - there are two plastic bags shoved into the GZ, and the log is a soggy mess. I could JUST sign my name on it, but only just.

Found as a part of TheKellyGang, writing this as a genaric log as I was a part of TheKellyGang and am now out on my own.
If you do not agree with this you are more than welcome to delete the log.

Finally. We drive past here often and guessed where it may be, however it has taken us a while to stop. Soon located and back on our way. Log book was a little water logged. TFTC
An easy climb for Mr M the mountain goat but his footing wasn't so good on the way down. The scars on the GPS (and him) are testament to that. Otherwise all is good. TFTC
This one got me rattled. Geodad had a sore back so sent geomum. Walked the 100 odd metres back to GZ as missed the little parking bay. Oh NO a hill. Up I scrambled another micro AAAARGH! I need geodad. Searched and Searched instinct told me left GPS told me Right I'd better follow GPS looked up a brown snake. Did a bolt not sticking around to see this snake chase/bite me. Slid down hill bum/pride hurt. Limped back to car geodad laughing as bum brown with dirt and no find. Will have to return another day Thanks anyway.
Parking the car was the hardest thing with this cache, if you miss the little overgrown inroad, its a long way to turn around and have another go.
A nice spot to pull off the road, but a bit steep to climb the last few metres which gave McPhan some trouble. Thanks Team Ransid.
3627. [font=Comic Sans Ms][green]Being a Monty Python fan was glad that we got out near Armagh (As in the Castle etc.) I stood too long in the one spot and ended up sliding and then running back down. Mr Mountain Goat Winglen simply Zsazsaed up.

Looked for the expected container but found the cache somewhere else. SL. Lovin' this series.
I didn't find the expected container here, but soon spotted the cache.
Mrs J waited in the car while I made like a mountain goat; Straight up!
Thanks Team Ransid.

This was our third Survey cache this morning and we are really enjoying the series. This one was a little harder to get to but once at gz we missed the obvious and started looking for something else but with spot on co-ords it all became clear very quickly
Thanks again Team Ransid for the cache
