I think I found it. However couldnt confirm my suspicion because it was heavily guarded Picture sent to CO.
Out on my regular Sunday afternoon trek with the dog whilst son number one has his catch up with mates. Back over to the north side of the gateway and i commenced ticking off some solved ship caches. I had to go to the nearby boat ramp to jot down some numbers, and then parked here to find this golden oldie. No sooner had i opened the rear of the car, and a rabbit darted past, and the dog nearly ripped my arm off. Was the first of half a dozen that we spied on our walks around this afternoon. Anyway the cache was quickly located. Great camo here, and a convenient table nearby to sign the log. All returned as found and all good with the log sheet. Thanks very much Ksix for the cache placement here, Cheers.
After finding a lot of Little Sailing Boat caches, it was time for an Oldie. In a park that mightn't see a lot of visitors, unless it's for lunch in between deliveries, this cache was an easy find in a logical place. Thanks, Ksix, for placing a cache here. What a great tree!!
Since todays plan fizzled I headed out in the geo-car for a few caches by myself today.I found your cache, K6-12 Olive Oil today. This is my 3303 find.Quick find before the page loadedKsix, TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
Working on a ships PA system brings me this part of the world, and a brief opportunity to grab this cache. Unfortunately, a massive ship is not a suitable resource for taking on other nearby water- based caches and so this cache was all I could score.
Over visiting from NZ and using the time to do as much caching as other commitments allow. Today I had teamed up with GEM_54 to try and knock off as many of the sailboat series as possible, plus any others that we were passing.I'm certainly glad we chose a Sunday to do these ones, as the area was almost deserted and so parking near GZ's was never a problem, but I can imagine how busy it would be on a week day, with lots of workers and heavy traffic. On a roll now. A nice quick find here and still no dnf's yet. Let's hope this continues. TFTC
As we were chasing smiles in the area we made a point of stopping here and adding our names to the log. Tftc
Out and about for our second day of caching on the northside and today's area was over near the airport. Quite a variety to keep us busy and we were able to keep out of the showers most of the time later in the day. Thanks to all the COs.
Watawieh from Norfolk Island South Pacific. There were 3 members of our crew today - joojoo57, Richmond Lad & endeavour3. Found while voyaging to some finds on the Little Sailing Boat caches. Logs may have been signed E3 to save space. TFTC Found & logged using Cachly for iOS
We had always wanted to know where the big boats come in to roost for Brisbane and we had just seen one in action. When I say action, I mean it was just floating there as something was being loaded on or off it at snails pace.Looking at the size of the ship I had to wonder how much diesel it requires just to get started and how much it can store. Im a big fan of the Deadliest Catch show and those boats are always braking down, so how often does something as big as 5 football fields have mechanical issues. There was no one around on a Sunday so this was the best time to search. Mrs Woodyrothwell was driving so I ducked out and made it 270 degrees around the tree before spying something suspicious. tftc
Found while I was out collecting some of the nearby geoart caches. There are multiple full logs in the cache so I would suggest a clean out TFTC.
With an appointment in the morning and a concert at night, there was plenty of time for some caching in the middle. This took too long, I was totally cache blind, good thing JDavs was there to point out my blindness.Tftc KsixFind #4832
Tftc Ksix, off on a cruise today, but made the time to collect this one. Thanks so much for keeping it going
Such a nice peaceful spot in an area of industry
Cache was found easily.
Cache was found easily.
A surprising area to find such an interesting little piece of almost hidden history. I can’t imagine a monarch coming out for a ceremony here these days. Cache was found quickly and that’s excellent camo. Thanks Ksix
A very busy and noisy intersection here during the week but a nice quick find in a grassy spot. Good hide.TFTC
was tricking and was a bit worried putting my hand near it with the bugs and stuff, but super smart and easy spot.
I bet this park is well used during work days.
Coming to airport from Goldie and wanted to do some caching along the way.
Never been here before so it’s good for an explore.
Found famously easily.

Thanks!!

We came for a drive this way after the 21st anniversary event and on our way back to the airport. Quick find at the GZ. TFTC
This morning, I needed to take my vehicle to undertake some repairs in Pinkenba. Despite the COVID-19 lockdown, they assured me that the business was still open and essential, and the repair would be conducted whilst I waited. With contactless facilities, I decided to throw in my bike, and hence go for a bike ride to nearby Pinkenba historical village to fill in the time, and complete my daily allowed fitness.
I decided to take my bike ride to this location, before turning around and returning back to the car repair place. Upon arriving, I soon made a circle, and found a rock that had obviously been the cache hiding spot, but alas, no cache container was hidden there? Hence, I ended up having to make a tree climb, where I soon spotted the small cache container. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, and I decided to stamp the logbook, although doubtful that it will last given the waterproof paper (so I've attached a photo of the logbook also). I decided to move the cache back to the original hiding spot, which was the perfect size for the outer camouflage, and subsequently, the cache's terrain rating is also now more reflective of that spot. For the history and my association with the Moonie oil pipeline (given my profession), with the cool park and monument, this cache gets a Favourite Point from me! Thanks Ksix for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Oil we wanted to do was find this cache... And find it we did. Thanks for showing us this area
Found cache in different location than expected... not sure if this is a decoy or not?
Replaced cache in found location. Msg me if you need further information.
Great find BTW!

With some time to spare this afternoon while waiting to pick hubby up from the airport, I decided to tackle some unfound caches in the local area. It was great to spend some time in this area, much of which I had not seen in a long time, or ever.
After finding a nearby cache I couldn't end my day without taking a look for this one. Despite the rain I pulled up near the GZ and wandered over to the most likely area. Not too long afterwards I had the cache out from its hiding spot, glad that I had come here when I did to not have the same results as previous finders. All was good with the cache, log signed and replaced as found. It was great looking at all the planes on the way in and out of this cache.

Quick find on a quiet Sunday afternoon. The kids climbed the tree in the park while we hunted for the cache. Great hide. TFTC
Picking up some caches on a quiet Sunday morning after dropping someone at the airport. Easy find. All good and dry. Tftc
Very early to pick up our friends from the airport.. well that’s not entirely true, we deliberately left early to find a cache to complete our 365 day challenge
A great hide, this one smells very,.. gasy! Left to try the trail nearby. Thank you for the awesome cache type

This is yet another place I would never have found if not for geocaching. The monument is really lovely. The cache container seems to have been become a home for a spider and its babies. However the log sheet is still able to be signed. TFTC
Nice quick find on the way to work, found under the pretence of a meal at a picnic table.
Dry and good condition, Log signed.
Find 3 of 3 in the three days since I started caching. TFTC

Quick and easy find whilst in the area. Lots of mosquitoes and Interesting plaque.
Loved walking around this area and seeing all of the industry. Forgot a pen so no sign TFTC
12:38:00 PM. Had to grab this as I was leaving the boat ramp. Quick find and log signed. Thanks for the cache Ksix
Second find of the day. Geokid and I ventured out here today looking for one older cache and a few others in the local area. She was a little intimidated by the size and speed of the larger trucks zooming past.
GZ is a lovely respite area and well worthy of a cache. Nice quick find here, but beware of the ants!
TB visit x5. TFTC

What a great way to spend New Year’s Day .. caching smilies!
Out and about with potatochips101 adding some smilies to our inventory. Have not ventured out this way for a long time and thought a public holiday would be the best time to visit. I had no idea of the history of this area - thanks for bringing us here.
A quick find ... though we did have to wait a moment or two for the ants to disperse. Log signed and returned. Found with potatochips101 Logged as 3K.

It’s been a while, but the SneakySquirrels are back! Interesting spot and easy find, although ant-infested . TFTC!
I recently got an email from a colleague in Brizzy who asked if I could come up to Brisbane so he could show me a work process and review some documents. Súper I thought - trip will = geocaching opportunity. Then he writes back and says he thinks it will require a 2 day trip. I know it doesn’t but the meeting request comes for 2 days who am I to refuse? So flights/hotel and car booked.
So what to pack? Only a cacher would take hiking boots, gum boots, rain coat, insect repellent and a torch on their trip!! Not much room for the work clothes. Did think about the ladder for some tree challenge caches caches I wanted to get but that would have been just a little bit weird.
So after we had lunch on the first day my colleague and I reviewed the documents and by 2.30 we were done until we could catch up with his boss tomorrow. Just as I suspected there was no way this work could take 2 days so I happily absconded to find the challenge caches I had on my list (well some of them at least!). I was in Pinkenba on Tingara St so had to collect this one first. Quick find in the only place it could be! TFTC

A quick find as the sun disappeared on the other side of a distant berm. A rhino beetle was in the spot next to the cache— he wasn’t alive but that was a cool find. I appreciate the work put into the metacontainer for this one. Cheers!
Another airport drop-off this morning and another cache found while in the area.
Interesting memorial. Who would have known this was here.
Found on 20 May 2019. TFTC, Ksix.

Accompanying Geo-friend and saw that previous logs were well and truly used up. Placed new log sheet for future use.
Out for a little cache hunt before an airport pick up. Another little piece of local history unknown by us till today. Tftc
Some waiting time I the airport area tonight. Went for some night caching. Great to see a rotary bit carved out of stone

Enjoyed the historical trail thru Pinkenba with Curare63 before stopping for this easy find.
Ksix I found your cache K6-12 Olive Oil on 3/9/18, 2:46 pm. This is my find 2066 and find # 8 today. Not many places it could be, found first place I looked, clever camo. Thanks for the cache! TNSLLN
Today we came out to have a look at the historic area of Pinkenba. We managed to find a couple of geocaches along the way, and also really enjoyed exploring an area of Brisbane we have never visited. At GZ, we admired the historical memorial to the people who had built this gas pipeline. It was then on to find the geocache, which we soon had in our hands. A beautifully crafted container in a lovely location.
Thanks Ksix

3rd cache of the afternoon. After 2 unsuccessful attempts this one was a walk in the park. Found by wife after a day at dfo. Tftc.
We are on the Sunshine coast for a while visiting with our friends who have come in from the USA. This was one of the caches we were able to find. Thankyou Ksix for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area
