Up this way visiting family. Today we headed out for a family, as we left I spotted a potential park n grab.. That it certainly was.TFTC
11/8/2024 Find #7115Pprime and I had been out on a morning adventure on a nearby hike. I had taken a quick look at the map on the way in to our hiking location, and noticed a couple of caches of interest to to us both nearby. So we decided that once the hike was over as long as the weather had held up, we would grab them on the return journey. This was the last for the day, as we were exiting Boonah ironically. As neither of us had miraculously grabbed this one any other time weve been passed, we did a quickly-turn and pulled up near GZ, but shielding us as much as possible from the person parked in the side street trying to sell his caravan. Trying to be as out of sight and inconspicuous as possible, we attempted to make sense of the hint and find the cache. However it took longer than it should have and was not as easy to stay out of sight from the caravan as we thought, as the cache was on the other side, and the hint made sense once Pprime expanded his search there and had uncovered the cache. Luckily the guy was busy at that stage. Thanks for the cache bar-bq.
Accio 12:49:33After a lovely hike out this way, 1MinnieMoo and I were heading home but always time for one more. THis was a Farewll from Boonah for us today, no worries here. Thanks Bar-bq for entertaining me at this location. *{Overall find #12603}*

On our way back from the other side of the mountain. Have to cache today, in our attempt to gain 7 times around the grid by the end of 2023. So travelling from Logan to Warwick, here we go,
Not where we thought it would be. But given the size, in the obvious place.. Thanks Bar-bq for the hide. Given a Fave point for today's action

Whole heap of traffic made it hard to grab once we found it, but it was a quick one on our way through town

Read the log before so I ignored the hint and found it straight away easy find. It’s a big small size.

Being super allergic to bees and the flowers drawing them in, I had a quick look but no joy today
Making my way to Rathdowney for the night I’ve left early so I can stop for a few caches along the way. Walked around the sign a few times, thought about the likely hides and that’s where it was found. Tftc
We had to revisit this one today as the council muggles where remulching the tree gardens earlier . Located ,signed, added to the swaps and replaced . Thanks Bar-bq
It wasn’t my plan to visit Boonah and surrounds, but that’s where I’ve ended up…
I spent awhile here trying to decode the hint… and after checking a couple of usual places I decided to ignore the hint and just made my way around methodically until I spotted the larger than expected container…
No flowers were trampled in the finding of this cache…

Quick easy find and a lovely photo of Boonah , With the beautiful mountains in the background lovely little town and a nice little Geo hide
Searched the back. Didn't feel like trampling over the flowers to check the front.
Left? Right? Left??? Front back? Ahh found it. Thanks for helping us explore this area. TFTC
I always love a welcome to .. sign. Whilst there was many possible hidey spots I found a great size cache on the other side I was initially looking at. Lovely spot for a cache. Tftc
Out for another country drive with Mr CuriousQuest. This cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
Out today with Selva Girls. grabbing a few caches around the Scenic Rim . This was a nice quick find; log signed and cache returned as found. TFTC
Had a lovely birthday with the family finding 7 caches and lunch at the beautiful winery and lavender farm MtA Alford near Boonah.
Took a friend along for a walk to see if we could get a smile here. She found this one with a bit of searching. It is now a white container with a screw lid with plenty of room for swaps. SL TNLN TFTC.
The first find for our little girls!! Found by Sophie. No longer a sistma container. But we had so much fun
Today, I joined karicka in hiking up Mount Edwards. An early morning start had us arrive at Moogerah Dam, where the area was already filling up with Mother's Day group plans, and it looks to be a lovely day and picnic area. We then spent the next 3.5 hr making the hike up to the peak, and then returned via a detour to the west of the dam. We then returned home via Mount Alford, stopping off at the pub for a well earned drink, and made a few miscellaneous geocache stops at various creeks and cemeteries.
We were hopeful that this would be a quick park and grab here, but it still needed a short search before karicka made the find. It certainly wasn't in the most intuitive of spots, but otherwise not too difficult. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Bar-bq for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Welcome to Boonah?!
I’ve been in this area before and had the pleasure of meeting an elderly gentleman who has since moved on to greener pastures.
