I am regretfully archiving this cache since unfortunately there has been no action to restore the cache or communication from the cache owner hefalumps requesting additional time, within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note, and it appears that the cache has been abandoned.

###Cache Owner Action Needed###
This cache has been brought to my attention as likely to be missing.
After a string of successful Finds, it has now had a string of DNFs. I agree that this certainly suggests that something has happened at the cache location which requires investigation by the CO.
The cache will be disabled and I'll check back in 4 weeks to see if either
- the CO has checked or rectified the apparent problem
- the CO has communicated in a Note log here, when action will be taken
**If the CO has not taken either of these actions, then we can only assume that the cache has been abandoned and, regrettably, it will be archived.**
The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is out there to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.
Thank you

A short walk and a quick find on a lovely evening. Log signed and all back safe again.
Now visiting Darwin after the Red Centre Experience.
Mr Felix headed out to Gunn Point with Tassie Trekkers this morning then after lunch we headed out to pick off a few more caches to be converted into smilies, well that was the plan at least.
We successfully found your cache.

#7023 - 12:45; Day 19 of the Alice Mega Road Trip with Sol de lune, albida33 and fitzy_1965, so signing logs as A.L.F.S. Following a sweltering night in Adelaide River we continued enroute to Darwin after attending the Red Centre Experience event in Alice Springs. The plan for today is to cache towards the oputskirts of Darwin with a detour in to Batchelor to Litchfield along the way, then off to set up camp and head into the city for an event. Twenty finds and two DNFs today for me, although the others picked up some extras which I'd found on previous visits. All caches located were in good order, including this one. TFTC Hefalumps
Alice trip 2017. Day 17. Today Sol de Lune, Luckyl10n, Fitzy_1965 and I drove the last dash into Darwin. We went out to Litchfield briefly, but still we suffered from the conditions and were happy to upgrade from swags to cabins for four days !
Thanks.

13472. Next find of Day 09 of the Red Centre Experience Roadtrip. Heading North.
I flew into Alice Springs to meet up with my caching mates Sol de Lune, Albida33 and LuckyL10n (signing mostly as ALFS) to attend the Red Centre Experience and then venture up north to Darwin and then east into Qld before heading south for home - a three week caching trek.
Next stop for the day. A quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and it was off to the next cache.

On the road to the Alice Springs Mega with LuckyL10n and Albida33. We arrived in Alice Springs to pick up fitzy_1965 to complete our group and set about the fun of attending the event.
We spent the next 5 days caching around the region enjoying the area and finding a lot of the local caches. After the event we set our sights on Darwin and started off on the next stage of our road trip.
Managed to find another few caches and had a great time doing so.
Thanks for all the caches and the fun in grabbing them.

Had a large dog barking at its fence line on my way to the cache... thank god it doesn't know how to jump ha ha. Had a relaxing sit and signed the log.
Nice easy find after a quick walk down the track. Thank you for adding additional waypoints for parking too.

We found this cache a few weeks ago but just saw that we forgot to log it. Interesting having such well made paths in the middle of nowhere.

I did not know about the bike paths here - yet again I have found a bit of Darwin which I never knew existed.

Lovely area but I felt very exposed. Had a quick look around fir anything obvious then moved on.
After a short stroll along the bike track the cache was in hand. No muggle today. TNLN. TFTC.
Nice quick find with the geo parents. Was sitting there trying to look innocent when some young ladies rode past on an afternoon bike ride as you do so often in the rural area. Apparently it was pretty obvious what we were doing as they asked if we were cachers. Busted by the person who actually hid the cache
Found the contanier in bits and the log a few meters away. Put back together as best we could.
