Found while.out caching with friends. My second encounter with a sleepy lizard today! This one a little further from GZ luckily! So windy out in the open! TFTC!
TFTC - Saved my friend from a sleepy lizard. Very windy, great spot for a windmill and a cache!
Caching from Perth to Canberra via the Nullarbor. TFTC. Didn't find. Checked the boots. Eww. Found some string around the guide post. Hmm. Bummer.Wrote this up and then decided to upend all the boots. While doing that I spotted something out of place. Yay.
After a 10 minute search, resorted to paf. With so many dnf we replaced and have sent message to Dazzatron.
A beautiful area to walk along the beach and have a lunch stop. Caching with The X-Trailers.

No luck here today

Looked around for a while with someone else. Didn’t find anything. Unsure about where it could be hidden since I’m sure I checked everywhere.
Not sure where it is ,? coords seem to be wrong on our new Garmin. with jeffner~
Will try again another day. Couldn't see anything remotely resembling a cache site. Co-ords not right.
Out with iluvtrekking exploring the Balgowlan and Chinaman Wells areas and of course picking up some finds along the route. Fortunately the area was devoid of anyone so we could search unhindered. Geo-hubby made the find.
A delightfully warm, sunny, calm winter’s day had us caching around Chinaman’s Well and Balgowan.
Must have left our geogoggles at the last cache we found
Thanks anyway Rocky Glen Grommets

Another great historical place and a quick find all safe and sound. Thank you for the placement of the China Wells cache Rocky Glen Grommets maintaind by Dazzatron/Margieh find number 7876 on 18 May 2021 at 4:02 pm
Found while over on Yorke Peninsula for a few days as back-up crew to geo-sis and geo-bro completing the Walk-the-Yorke. We stayed at Wool Bay for the first night, camped out in buffeting winds and squally rain at Barker Rocks on the second night and returned to Wool Bay for the last night. In the meantime, spent the daylight hours finding caches along the way. Thanks for the cache RGG and Dazzatron/Margieh!
Loved this spot! Had a picnic lunch under the trees. Walked out to the w a tera edge to look at the many shore birds. Thanks
Out for a mid Yorke day with Jack and Purrfect Di,
all stamped as team Mattycat
Cache is missing a lid, but placed backwards is well protected

- - cache at a social distance if you can - -
Dodge any bugs (except travel bugs of course)
- avoid people completely if you can [:o)]

Today, the weather was forecast to be dismal with thunderstorms and a rain drenching! Consequently, gridge98 and I retreated to the more dry vicinity of Upper Yorke Peninsula. Other than a few drizzles, we had good weather. We visited Paskeville, Kadina, Moonta, Balgowan, Point Pearce, Maitland, and Arthurton, with highlights of the mining relics, 4WD-ing along the west coast beach, and finally dinner and heading around Maitland. A long day out and about, arriving home just after midnight.
A cool spot here. There appears to be a number of Chinaman wells around the place - I even have a cache at the one along the Coorong. This cache was found reasonably quickly, and the logbook was in good shape, but the cache container lid is broken. Thanks Rocky Glen Grommets for the cache placement, and Dazzatron/Margieh for its ongoing maintenance.

Some interesting history here, cache didn’t take long to find and the cache is all good
Today With the weather more promising on the yorke peninsula than in Adelaide, Davidwazza and I decided to head over and clean out as much as we could as well as doing quite a bit of beach 4wdriving.
In total 87 finds within 1 DNF for the day.
Thanks for the Cache

Found a shady spot to park and quickly spotted the cache [^].
TNLNSL.
The container could use some attention, as the lid has shattered [B)].
After all that, we went for a walk down to the beach .
Thanks for another one Rocky Glen Grommets.

Day 260 (Friday 15th) of our trip. Caching along the way. In Maitland today. A total of 4 for the day and 5487 for the trip. TFTC
Out on a caching run today with goingplaces2 and we had a successful day. Found all the caches we looked for and signed all logs. TFTC.
It was a shorter caching day today with ilook4geo, as the day also includede 4 hours visiting time with family, which was really good too. All caches found were in good condition, with plenty of room on each log for more caching names. None were difficult to find, each log had two more names (or initials) added and we were on our way again. Our thanks go to Rocky Glen Grommets for adding to the caching game by placing this cache.
A day out exploring from our base at Moonta Bay. We decided to visit Chinaman's Well and surrounds and had a great day, driving on beaches, muddy and slippery roads and avoiding wombat holes.
Pulled off the beach here and with a short hunt, the cache was found. Container is suffering the ravages of time, but the log is still dry.
Thanks for the cache

GZ is now only a plastic post. There's a sign nearby that has been moved, but not on there either... on further inspection, it was on the windmill. Moved back to it's intended location as per the clue. TFTC
Found it. Container was lying on the ground. I have replaced it where I think it was hidden!
A quick and straight forward find whilst in the area.
Thanks for the cache Rocky Glen Grommets!

After co-hosting 'Another Fab Pub Lunch' event in Adelaide with Feathertop on a crazy hot day, I collected CP and drove us over to the Yorke Peninsula with one goal in mind - to collect all of the new T.O.Y. run series, a few BBB BBBBs and As Time Goes By caches.
We left Adelaide about 3pm and I dropped CP back home just after 4am, so 13+ hours of driving and caching on the beautiful YP ....the things we do for caching!!! HOWEVER, we did manage 21 golds, several silvers, plus I targeted a few other specific caches in the area.
The coordinates were excellent [^], some of the hides easy finds , others a little more challenging , but ALL of them were enjoyable finds - GEOCACHING ROCKS!!! [:X] [^]

Out for another fun day caching with LLL51 and Madham02. It was rather windy here today so thankfully this was a quick find. Had a look at all the shacks both old and modern.
Thanks for the cache Rocky Glen Grommets.

Found with my Hero Husband (Moneydork) and a few other cachers on a weekend away. Thanks.
What a weekend!
Set out Saturday with Dennisc52, CPwanderer and Clare007 in Dennisc52's geomobile, accompanied by Moneydork and Tounga in theirs.
We met firesafe over there too.
I bailed ship on Saturday night when Dennisc52 and crew returned home, so that I could continue to cache on Sunday with Laighside Legends, firesafe and Moneydork and Tounga.
By the end of the weekend, I had finished the 'current' geoart on YP and totalled 275 & 3DNFs .
Part 2 of the adventure: Laighside and I had the pleasure of being driven by firesafe to some great caching and historical spots that I had never been to before.
Very interesting history here! We didn't climb the windmill but Moneydork did put an Ingress portal here

Touring Australia having left Perth in late February we are leisurely touring Australia after having attended Oz Mega.
Today we toured from Maitland to Port Vincent then up and around Pearce Point to Chinamans Well then up to The Gap all in company with iluvtrekking.
What a majestic coastline we thoroughly enjoyed the places that Geocaching took us to today. We took way too many photos and will have to cull some! We had the warmest day we have had for a week with the temperature getting to 20degrees! [^] We started the day with gloves and 2 jumpers but ended it in shirt sleeves.
Thanks for placing a cache to help us explore this area. [^] Lovely spot managed to stop here for lunch too!

Out and about with FelixII exploring the west coast of Yorke Peninsula.
We left the Maitland Show Grounds, where we are staying, and headed off westward to a strikingly beautiful and remote coastline which reminded us in many ways of parts of Western Australia.
Thanks for your cache Rocky Glen Grommets, we really loved this place and stopped here for our lunch.

Stopping at Port Vic park we went for a drive as the fish were not biting.
Arrived at GZ from the beach and made a find and sign--after special tools to rid the spider webs!
A very interesting place well away from the crowds.

It's been a while since this one was found. Had lunch here and then drove onto the beach to find the other caches.
Traveling along the coast from the Gap Campground with 8 Muggles in 4 4WD's, a great day and views.

An enjoyable caching day around mid and west of Peninsula...Ms Bushies2 found it but it was hidden far too deep in the end, almost impossible to retrieve it but Mr Bushies2 made up a stick with magnet on it and managed to bring the cache out...lovely and shady area, we stayed there for lunch. Thanks Rocky Glen Grommets for bringing us to the lovely area and cache.
What a glorious day to go caching. Tftc found with team Scallywag and the wild gang while holidaying in Moonta. Tnlnsl

We were lucky enough to be staying in this gorgeous spot with friends for the weekend. Having heard of our "hobby" before they were most suprised to learn that there was a cache withing walking distance of their shack. Don't think they were inspired to take up caching but at least they know the people looking around at GZ are quite harmless. TFTC
I was really really good here and didn't climb anything - which was hard, I love climbing.

A quick and easy find but an extraction tool was necessary for us to retrieve it. Thank-you for the cache.
Found while on a YP caching blitz with Mtbikeroz
Thanx for bringing me here!
Ugh, glad to have this bumpy night 4wd-ing around over!

A bit late - just getting around to logging some caches.
A couple of campers were setting up nearby and so we used the 'photographer wife with strange husband' routine. Boxer moved extremely quickly to flick off the spider that was attached to the cache.
Thank you for taking us here. Not a place I would go to otherwise, and well worth the trip. It was a great place to stop for lunch.

Out for the day caching with Aural_Culture.
Interesting Landscape, being on north side of the Point Pearce Peninsula.
The tide was out, could have driven down the beach to pick up, Bee-Tool-Juice.

An unfenced windmill is a tempting target! But as you said no, we didn't (how unlikely is that!). We soon had the cache in hand from the only other object there.
We then treated ourselves to a tour of the town (well we drove up and down the street).
Nice views from the shacks. nearly every one has a tractor, must all be ex-farmers
Thanks, Robmc.

What an interesting place to visit and so out of the way yet they had a garbage pickup tonight so it it not as remote as you first think.
Lots of rusting tractors too.
Thanks for your cache.

What a surprise this little fishing township was. Hard to believe that those market gardeners could make a go of it out here. Again we had to take poser shots at the windmill due to passing traffic! Cache # 499.
this is my sort of cache ,a bit of history and out of the way,I enjoyed the drive thanks.
Found by Mrs 4evermore on great days caching with Everlasting. Unfortunately xxABxx and Everlasting were looking in the wrong spot while I came up with the find. TFTC
Accompanied with xx4evermorexx, mrs xx4evermorexx found the cache while xxabxx and I search at wrong place oops!!. SL. Thanks Rocky Glen Grommets for organising the cache and hunt.
Found by Mary & David at 1105. A fascinating place. The tide was so low you'd need a cut lunch to wet your hook. Interesting vegetation on this drive. Our thanks again to Rocky Glen Grommets.
10th cache for the day, as we make our way home from the Heart of Yorkes Event.
Another one we passed up on our dash around the countryside yesterday.

This is a great little spot. We were chasing event caches around here, and figured it was close so why not find it? TFTC RGGs.
It was competition day of the 2009 Heart of Yorke event and we were never going to win, we tried to get as many as possible (about 45 of the 64 caches) plus get some real caches as well.
The weather was ordinary all day with most of the roads turning to various degrees of slush but fun was had by all.
The last cache on of our day - looks like a great place to get away from it all. TFTC.

Found on the hiding day. There is probably not much happening in this little settlement and that is probably just what the locals like about it.
Had this one "found" before we got out the car.... Spent more time retrieving the cache than finding it... Tks RGGs for the cache
Spotted what we thorght would be the spot from the car and we were correct. TFTC Rocky Glen Grommets
