This is a really good cache and worthy of another FP. I thought it must be a really easy hide given all the finds. When I eventually found the cache I compared the log book to the online finders to see that of the last 10 finders only 4 are in the log book. This I have found is very typical of many caches in Tassie, I think I am going nuts because I cant find a cache quickly like everyone else claims to and then eventually I do find the cache (well not always, then its a dnf and Ive had more than 200 of those in Tassie ) I realize lots of the people saying its an easy find or good hide didnt actually find the cache .Clearly the game is played differently depending on who you are.TFTC
In town for a conference and thought Id check out some caches in the area. What a sneaky hide this was one! My hands got fairly dirty until I worked it out. Tftc!
On my second day in Hobart, I spent several hours caching. I was able to find a total of thirteen caches while suffering only three DNF's. Very nice hide.
Out & about for the day to get some caching done. Why not on a beautiful day like today. I hired a scooter & headed down the bike track for some caches. As I was paying for the scooter I was limited to a very quick find so no luck for me today. Came across a fellow Geocacher we were both looking for the same cache haha it was funny. I will have to come back for the find. Next Time.
I found the bolt checked everywhere on it couldnt find an opening also check everywhere around the log
Today was perfect geocaching weather. We took a long walk from the city center to the north and spredded some smilies on the map. Here we first looked at the wrong position quite a while, unless M found it.TFTC MCoMeter
Much easier to find than last time we visited as it's been replaced. TFTC!Cheers,The Hancock Clan
After finding no trace of it when I looked previously I thought Id have better luck since it had been logged a few times with no other DNFsNice Easy find exactly where I expected to find it the first time, now that it has been replaced or put back in place( and definitely wasnt there last time).TFTC
Beautiful walk to find this one. Another very clever but easy to find cache. Thank you
In Hobart Town from the north west via Gt Lakes caches here and there and an intended swag bag of finds in and around the city. This one took us a while to focus on. Bit slow on the uptake this morning. Had to get very close to a parked vehicle wheel, but grabbed this and took it further afield to sign the log, then swiftly replaced. Thanks for a clever in a convenient place as it turns out.
We are from Switzerland...We do housesitting all over the world and this time we are back in Tasmania the second time ...We traveled around here 14 years ago...its nice to be back and this time even better with geocaching ..Today Nggi2 and I went out to make out of green ones yellow Smilies Its a beautiful day and hot weather to visit this part of Hobart but we tried to follow the shade as much as possible .We found most caches in good time .We also visited the Japanes garden for an adventure lab. In the evening we had dinner at my favorite Restaurant .the " HOGS BREATH CAFE"yummy Thank you for placing this Dsli (Dsli means little box in Swiss) oinkoinkLove THAT ONE..a FP of me
Heute besuchten wir unter anderen auch den Queens Domain Japaners Garden. Wir fanden die Dose recht gut bei wunderbarem Wetter. Besten Dank frs legen und pflegen.
Had a good search for this one and spotted a very likely empty hole that matched some of the logs. No joy for us unfortunately
Spent a good bit of time here, with no joy. Seeing that most previous logs say "easy find", I wonder if it has gone missing? I will keep an eye for any future finds
Had to use 2 TOTT to be able to get this one. Very well camouflaged!Nice one.Favourite point from me
Auf unserer Reise durch Tasmania hier fündig geworden. Tftc and greetings from Germany
Out on a geocaching day with family on a trip over from Victoria. TFTC. We really like this one
I am sure that I found this cache years ago but didn’t log it. Found again, this time logged! TFTC
My wife and I have flown down from Brisbane to Hobart for a short holiday to use up the last of our remaining flight credits collected during Covid. While my wife enjoyed a sleep in, I headed out bright and early on a rather chilly morning to find some geocaches during a walk along the Hobart Rivulet Trail.
Afterwards I headed back in to the city to meet up with her for a late breakfast around the Salamanca Markets before then continuing on for a walk out towards Queens Domain. Along the way I was able to call in and visit this cache.
A car was parked a little way from GZ, but far enough away for the drive to take no notice as I retrieved the cache. Found this a bit fiddly to get out, which made me question whether I was focussing on the right thing. Got there in the end and stamped my name in the log book. TFTC

Great spot and capsule, although the paper is a little tough to get out.
Second time back here
Really really wedged in. Took about 20 minutes to extract
Finally got it out

There was a local fisherman who saw us and told us what we were looking for and where which is lucky as it was stuck in there tight and we wouldn't have thought it was it. Had a nice chat to someone as well so a great night.
Definitely a Favourite Point here .
Exceedingly well hidden. Extraction was quite tricky but Net61 managed....Some locals drove up to do up spot of fishing midway so we told them about Geocaching....
They had already heard of it .
Time to head back to our accomodation for some dinner...
Really enjoying finding different types of camo over in Tasmania!
We are from NZ .

Apologies for the late log! Visiting Hobart for the cricket and this was one of the non-playing days so I planned some walking and caching. Got the bus over from Bellerive for a long loop of Queens Domain and Cornelian Bay. Many thanks for the cache.
We are visiting from Melbourne, down here for the U13 State Hockey Carnival.
We all decided to go out exploring and this is one of the spots we stopped at for a look. I sent my son out on the mission to find the cache and it did't take him long. Nice.
Thank you for the cache here CatWomanAU
