In light of recent vandalism to the Auburn Cemetery and the deterioration of this one, the family has requested that we remove this cache, so please do not try to look for it, the container has been removed. Now you really can Rest in Peace Herr Mengler.
Found out with Beary Organised on first day of Caching holiday in the Barossa. Took awhile but GPS was spot on just needed to look a little closer. TFTC TNLNSL
Found it with CherryRose on our caching holiday in the Barossa. Took a while to find it. GPS kept sending us in circles but it was circling the Mengler graves. TFTC TNLNSL
An interesting location...I was a bit concerned about the angle of the fence...one section was held up with a post...fortunately I was given a little bit of direction for this one...TFTC SnappyTomCats
A quick pitstop in the Barrossa on the way to the OZ Mega. A fun day eating, wine tasting and caching. TFTC A very intersting spot, cache in good shape. TNLN
[273] Upon entering the barrows I could think nothing other than "If I were to spend an eternity in the one location, this locale would be agreeable!". What a prime spot for these intrepid adventures. Nervous about poking around in such an honoured space, the find was probably a lot longer in the coming than it should have been. A 10c coin has been jammed into the lid, (I'm not sure if that's by design of the CO or not) restricting the cache from closing properly. The log seems fine though, so no harm no foul.

Nice easy find but unfortunately too hot to hang around for long enjoying the view. TFTC!
Geo-son still needs more hours to qualify to obtain 'P' licence. I have to travel to collect caches. He drives me around to out of the way caches that I would like to clear out areas of my map. Win-win situation.
So today for a second day in a row I thought I would head towards the Barossa and see what comes up on my GPS.
One last one. I just can't resist a cemetery cache. There is always some interesting history to find. And this cache as well. Bonus. Thanks SnappyTomCats.

Just a few after work. Need a cache a day, but why stop at one !
Had just been to see the COs, now finding their cache
Cute little cemetery in an unexpected spot.

Another really interesting Barossa location to explore, thanks for the hunt this evening
We had planned what seemed like a nice route to pick up a few caches while in the Barossa over the weekend to celebrate a family birthday with interstate relatives, but we hadn't factored in the road closures due to the local marathon! We ended up driving a fairly circuitous route and will have to come back sometime to pick up many of those we missed.
We love visiting interesting old country cemeteries - thanks for giving us a reason to visit. TFTC

Travelling around Australia.
Back in SA for a few weeks.
Busy day for us today. Car in for repairs and still packing for our trip across to WA. Stormy, windy, rainy and nerve racking. Mr Felix ducked out to find your cache to keep our geostreak alive.

After a visit to the Nuri Markets for breakfast we headed for the country roads. Thanks SnappyTomCats, another cache with a view.
Grabbed this one after a coffee at Tanunda - out and about exploring the Barossa with CAD - cache by cache! Enjoying our year off traveling and having Australia as our backyard! Lovely spot to ponder T4TC:)

Happen to be in the area so a quick stop to grab another cache, was easy to find as it happen to be out in the open. Thanks SnappyTomCats.
I do love looking at these little graveyards. Respects were paid and the cache log was signed. TFTC
What a lovely hidden gem this cemetery is! Thank you for this cache. Off for a shower and tea. Great cache to finish on. Cache #2336.
New waterproof container and log replaced, so good to go! Enjoy this tranquil place.
We will be out shortly to Check the container condition and replace the log.
Nice little graveyard and view. Couldn't sign log because wet. Coords were also abit out. Needs maintenance tftc al
I no longer live close to this cache so I am archiving it. I will remove it the next time I go to the Barossa,
Adelaide trip September 2015. I spend five days driving to Adelaide taking some more remote routes across the river land area and exploring new places along the way. Day 13. Today is back on the road, half my journey back to Canberra took me to Balranald via the Barossa valley using all of the new South Road and Sturt Highway links.
Thanks.

This was one of my finds today of totally more then 50 searched and 50 found.
This place here is very interesting and has a great view. Thank for showing me.
I did a bike tour around Tanunda and Nuriootpa, in total I made about 53 Kilometer.
I will made the log entry most of the time the same, this should not show any disliking to the cache or the cache owner, it´s just that this are to many caches for me to remember
I would like the cache owner for there work, thank you very much.
Regards from Switzerland

Today we toured arround the Barrosa region, grape vines are very bare & lots of pruning being done in the area. We passed many vineyards & wineries but did not stop to Taste their wares.
It was a geat day we found numerous caches in some interesting & great location.
Thanks for placing this cache Mouse1

I would never have seen this small cemetery if not for the cache. Upon opening the cache I found a nice new and yet to be written on log book. Not a first to find but a first to write in the new logbook. TFTC
Headed out today with earthlight to clean up a few of the caches around this area, we managed about 34 for the day and was a great day driving around the areas with some really cool buildings along the way, caching takes you to some places you would never go and these are areas we would not normally go, weather was good for us today and was a very enjoyable day, very cool location and cache could really do with a new one here as the old one has seen better days, really not waterproof and the bag is not suitable anymore. TFTC
A Litttle cemetry with a lot of history and a great view. Oh also take the time to read the head stone on the grave in the Far, bottom left corner and have a little laugh.
Number 23 of 25 for the day

Visited this little gem today on the way home from Adelaide, was a beautiful day and a spectacular view for a resting place. TFTC.
Ps. Looks like may need some maintenance as container and log book are showing signs of exposure to the elements.
Cache # 313, SLTNLN.

Easy find. Tin had been left open. Log book all wet. Closed it back up. Will need to replaced
This is still in place and will be adopted very soon by another cacher as I am unable to maintain it at the moment.
This one had us stumped for a bit as the GPS wouldn't settle, but luckily a bright colour caught our eye and we soon had the cache in hand. TFTC
Stopped by this morning on way home with the ftfer from years ago.
A quaint little cemetery, they are jammed in here.
Not so sure gz should be on a gravesite though. ..
Logbook is fullish but still plenty of room, plus there is extra sheets in there now too.
TNLNSL
Thanks

Not being aware that the cache is disabled I went and found the container with intact log which was pretty close to the co-ords given. An interesting little cemetery. Thanks Mouse1.
Please excuse generic logs. This was one of our caches while on a weekend in the Barossa Valley. We wish to thank all the cache owners for the way in which these caches are maintained. It is a pleasure to come to the Barossa at any time because of the many attractions it offers, not the least is the number of caches in this area. We will put in separate notes for logs that may need maintenance etc. Co-ords in the majority were very accurate. Thanks so much again. It is a wonderful caching area and we will be back. Keep up the good work all the CO's.
Day 29.
What a fantastic cemetery, and a brilliant place to put a cache. Thank you very much.

Found this back on August 25th with Moneydork and Mrs Flipper while in the area for a Barossa Pub Lunch. The cache at that time was there and in good shape. What a peaceful place this is! Thanks Mouse1
An interesting little cemetery, which has obviously seen better days.
Those walls can't last much longer!

Took a ride up to the Barossa for a lunch event, and a weekend of cache hunting, this was one of quite a few found for the weekend.
Sunday... not such an early start, but a fun day of cache hunting anyway.
