Out and about with Brother Colin today and we came for this one even though he has found it before. Cache is DEFINITELY NOT there. Please could the owner check.
Out with Brother Colin today and came to get this one even though he has already got it. Cache is DEFINITELY NOT in place. Please could the owner do a check.
Requesting owner check on this one. 9 DNFs in the last 7 weeks. Tell us we're not going insane.
As others have said definitely not there and there are some good locations. Passed by as part of our Cemetery Leap Day walk/Cache.
I concur with the last few DNFs. I couldn't find it either and I'm pretty certain I looked in the right spots as I did see some camo there =(
Another day perhaps...

Definitely not in the expected place and will need a check up from the owner please. Thanks anyway aussieparamedic & G-Mack.
As with the others this seems to have gone the way of some of the graves around this place. A thorough search of the likely candidate proved to be fruitless though I did chance across an old glow stick in what I would have considered the place of resting of MJ's Thriller. The Chief agrees and for me that is an infallible decree. Will be back once a Found It appears on the logs!

I suspect this one may have been muggled. Checked the obvious spot and a few more nearby but came up with nothing.
Still appreciated the interesting walk. The nearby Mayne family tomb in particular was worth a look.

On approach there were muggles using the close by tap to fill watering cans. I moved onto Tfern and returned when the coast was clear. An easy find. TFTC
find number 7 with the mckains and snuffie. left an annoying watch that bris every day
Thanks for the second of 3 caches we grabbed from this great resting place. What a superb cemetery. TFTC.
Good coordinates, took the blue bird TB.

Here visiting friends and walking Bas the dog. What an interesting cemetery this is, having a great exploration. TFTC
Now I have that song in my head, though to be honest, I didn't quite get the reference... TFTC, aussieparamedic. =^.^=
Another cache that is very close to where I'm staying during a work trip to Brisbane. Found in an early morning walk around the Toowong Cemetery. Dropped off SPOT Travel Bug. Thanks for the cache aussieparamedic!
12:33PM
A short walk from finding a previous cache. Very peaceful today. The cache is in good condition.
TFTC, aussieparamedic.

Found with Stairman1 and geodog. Interesting cache. But no bug inside . I left Stairman1 to sign the log while I had another wander around some interesting gravestone. As I was walking back to the car I saw Stairman1 standing near a man . Was this a real person or an apparition[?]. It turned out to be someone walking through the cemetery. Thanks aussieparamedic.
This was the second stop of our grand cemetery tour. This one geo-baby let me find with my cache-instinct while he chewed on his foot. After signing we had a little bottle break and then pushed on to the next stop. TFTC
A quick spot of geocaching while staying at sister-in-law's place nearby. TFTC. Cache is in good condition.
Got spied by a muggle magpie when returning the cache - he made me jump! TNLN, TFTC!
Third for the cemetery. Found with MagnetGirl and newbies friends. Tn left bovine
3rd find of the day, with geohusband (aka Aquaman), and friends. Signed log, not a lot in the kitty so took nothing but left a cow. I like the theme and the idea behind this. One day I'll do the ghost tour they do of the toowong cemetery, that would be interesting. More to find, must keep moving.
The cache was one of 107 finds during a three day visit to Brisbane from Melbourne where it was work during the day and caching during the night.
Last afternoon of grabbing a few caches before heading back to Vic. Headed over to the Toowong Cemetery to have a stroll around and pick up the caches there as well. I remember waiting in anticipation for the new Thriller video clip to play on the TV back all those years ago. It was pretty ground breaking at the time. Cache found and log signed.
Thanks aussieparamedic.

Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
Not sure what has happened to the clipping, unfortunately. All else was fine. TFTC
Another one on the list in the cemetery today. Despite his controversies, he sure made some brilliant and classic music. TFTC.
no newspaper clipping

i have every song michael jackson every put on a record (yes they are all on vinyl

Found while out caching with Earthlight
Neverland was having an over hall so had to be extra careful in our search as workers were watching us

Quick find here!
Nice spot all the way up here.
There's a dead bird very close to the cache at the moment, but you don't need to move it.

Found no worries, muggles were a bit of a problem, otherwise all was good, left new log book, thanks aussieparamedic
Another nice easy find on the graveyard walk today, took the GC and will drop it elsewhere due to the original cache target no longer being available.
I had to wait out a couple of muggles to get this one but i was rewarded with a nice dry find. However the dead bird on the otherside of the cache area was a little of putting. hehe how ironic a dead bird. ...anyway of to the next one.
Another one for the Saturday night trek, bit of an ironic find with the bird and all but still a great spot. TFTC.
=) i loved this cache, even with the fresh dead bird right on GZ, Saturday night in a graveyard a dead bird a great old tree nice little hut to sign log and a memorable cache lol, added some art to the logbook, hid the cache a little better out of view, goodtimes TFTC !! =)
Brahms6 found this one today on a trip down from Cairns. Came down to go to Government House for an Award Ceremony and decided to come and vist my Grandmother who was buried here in 1966. Left the Rosetta Stone Geo Coin. TFTC
Great find. Awsum view. Easy one to find. Took the dinosaur party bag and left the haunted house brochure. (seemed appropriate)
at 14:53. Took the Foxy Lady TB. The other listed TBs are not in the cache.
TFTC Aussieparamedic. The cache is fine.

Our third find for the day. Found a small section in the log book to scribble on. (Sorry didn't have anything that resembled a temp log book)
Paper clipping looks to have been removed, as it was not in the container.
Took Flowers - Left Travel Bug (Foxy Lady).

Quick find but replacing cache took a bit longer due to muggles grave gazing. Thanks aussieparamedec.
Spongebobbb found this quickly and we enjoyed the peacefulness while waiting for muggles to depart before replacing the cache. TFTC
Nice cache, there was a guy in the shelter enjoying a book when I got there so went exploring the graves for a while until he left, then it was easily found. TFTC
Found it at about 1pm - a nice cool spot for a rest after caching through the place! Nice and easy to find, contents all dry, but no sign of the newspaper clipping I'm afraid. SL, TN, left a monkey badge. TFTC!
Had to come back for this one as there were muggles sheltering in the rain right next to the cache. They could have used their umbrella's. Anyway after finding another cache first I came back and found with muddtrax and geo kids Third cache in a row that should have had TB's in it but missed out again TFTC SL
Found with Krossbo & geokids in the rain. When we first arrived at GZ there were muggles taking shelter from the rain [:(!] How inconsiderate!! [:o] I just wanted to grab the cache [:p] As we drove past to go find another cache I could see the likely hiding spot. . . It's just there!! After finding "Deeply Rooted" nearby, and having a grand tour of this great cemetery, we arrived back at GZ & the muggles had left!! YAY!! [^] Jumped out of the geomobile . . and yes, the treasure was where I thought it was Was disappointed that there were no TB's in this cache either. 3 out of 3 caches that were supposed to have TB's and didn't TNLN TFTC
This was a nice easy find, unfortunately it looks like someone has taken the newspaper clipping, which is a shame as I would have liked to read it. TFTC
Such a landmark cemetery What a relief to make an easy find after a frustating morning. Took Kiwi Bob TB, left Acme Thunderer travelbug.
Quick find for what has been 2 out of 4 in the area - dropped off a musical TB (kind of fitting). Took geocoin.
Thanks Aussieparamedic.
Thanks Aussieparamedic.
Located the cache quickly although the local ants were none too pleased when disturbed. I guess someone in the past has snaffled the newspaper clipping because it isn't there any more!

After working my way through the twisitng and turning roads I finally found myself here. The cache find after that was very straight forward. I haven't driven through the cemetery before so thanks for encouraging me to do so.
Between caches at Toowong Cemetery, I ran across a guide preparing for a Sunday tour. After a brief chat about geocaching she led me to a very unique grave site. This was a veteran from the American Civil War ... a Confederate of course! This is certainly one of the most interesting cemeteries I've seen. Never mind the blistering February heat! TFTC.
Found today by team micra at 14:50. Nice easy find after finding a cache up the hill a bit. Great to see a cache that wasn't a micro!!! TNLN. TFTC.
Found by team Micra ay 2:50pm. Nice quick easy one. Figured we would do a few more while in the area. TNLN. SL. TFTC.
Wow.. the weather is just awful today! And the reports on the radio are that the river here in Brisbane is likely to break it's banks today or tomorrow...
A nice easy cache find though...
- Thermometer
+ Magpie Feather
TFTC!
ps. the newspaper clipping has gone
