We will be in Nundle for Easter will replace again. Don’t know why this one has so many problems. Basic guard rail cache in middle of no where.
With 4 DNFs in a row in the past year, it would be great if someone (CO or otherwise) could confirm if it’s still here. I know it’s remote though. Happy to replace with CO consent!
Saw spots it could have been with last clues indicating rocks to hold it in place. Saw obvious spots but came up empty. Can owner check on this one as GPS had us right but nothing found
Next cache on our tour for today. Hard to believe that this one has not been found for almost a year.

Nice to find a larger type of cache, so I left a Travel Bug MCD4M3 there for the next Geocacher. TFTC
Travelling to Australia again - this time we started in the north and made our way across the centre down south before visiting family in NSW. We stayed in Woolooma and drove to Nundle area for a day trip. Due to the hint the box was easily discovered. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Germany!
Well after the other days failure to go the right direction today we set off in the direction desired to obtain nundell and we achieved it a lovely little town and a beatuiful place to have a cupa and some lunch later in the day.
Thanks Team Casho for bring us to the wonderful location and pointing out some interesting places this being one of them. Well this was a great location for a cache and the bigest cache container I have seen in this type of location.

Spending a few days at Chaffey Dam after attending the OZ Geo Muster Mega.... Picked up a few caches along the way. Surprising name for a bridge. Quick find.
Thanks for the fun Team Casho !

Decided to spend a few days in Tamworth with my geodog Scruffy, so we just had to get out and find some of the caches hidden in the area.

We are heading from Brisbane to Bright in Victoria, caching as we go, wherever it is safe to pull up with the caravan. We left Brisbane on 3rd Jan and don't have to be in Bright til the end of the month. Today's drive takes us from our camp at the beautiful Chaffey Dam into the historic town of Nundle.
We found this cache, Just as the skies opened. Did not want to hang around this bridge for too long, given its history... thanks tam casho

A GREAT GEOKIDCACHE The logs did a few extra kms as well , 15 kms out of Tamworth , the log was discovered in "someones" top pocket!!! Back to the cache site and tucked back to bed !! All in a day of geocaching!!Thanks Team Casho !!.
Heading to Tamworth today from the central coast for the best week of the year. Gigs start tomorrow so I have all day today to get there and grab some select caches along the way! Whilst doing some recce last week I found this 30 month neglected (well not quite neglected - plenty of interest it seems, just not found) cache and that it had just been replaced by CO. Perfect timing for me. Definitely worth a detour to try to track it down. Turned off the New England Hwy just north of Wallabadah and then turned onto the windy dirt road of Wallabadah-Nundle Rd which was a lovely country lane drive, just an hour or so before sunset. This eventually got me to Jenkins Street approx 3kms south of the Pearly Gates. Once I crossed the bridge I figured a D1/ T1.5 is only going to be in one spot out here lol. First to sign new log book and enjoyed the views from the plaque. Saw a couple of big water dragons sprinting into the water once they were alerted to my presence. Cheers Team Casho for the journey out to here this arvo, and for my picking up some good un-loved points. 2½ years worth is deffo my new record. Onto Tamworth now via the Chaffey dam I think.

Replaced this one over Christmas. All good to go. Placed a few rocks to try hold in place this time. Let's hope it lasts a bit longer this time.
We have travelled up from Sydney, to spend a week or so in Tamworth & Nundle for the April school holidays, and had been staying at the Big4 Paradise caravan park in our Jayco Swan outback camper trailer. Now we are in Nundle, staying at the Fossickers Way Caravan Park, and will be collecting any available caches as we explore the area.
We awoke to a nice sunny day, so decided to explore the town of Nundle and pick up a few caches along the way. After finding a couple of caches closer to town we headed back to the camp to get the geomobile, to drive out and look for another two a little bit further out of town.
This was to be our 2nd find on our little drive out of town, but nothing was found. Gave the guard rail a really good search, but found nothing. We don't believe it is there. TFTH anyway Team Casho.

Could not see any sign of a cache today had a good look along both guard rails as C O suggested but no luck
Checking which of our caches have maintenance listed. I'm wonder if people are finding old cache that I did not locate when I was last in area. New cache was places in the end of the guard rail. It is odd that it is being reported as damaged same way as before it was replaced. It is not like this is a high tragic area for it to get damaged so quick will await further logs before I action and with this post might point catchers in right direction to assist with cache check as I think it will be a while before we will be able to check on this one.
Thanks in advance to anyone able to assist with this cache check.

No cache...just parts of a broken lid. We would have replaced it if we had had our supplies with us.
We looked for the cache in an obvious location where the GPSr was pointing and the only ting we found was a few pieces of broken lid.
New cache back in place.
Stocked with a few rock sample cards that I picked up at the information centre for a cold coin donation for each. Hope the kids enjoy them

Thanks to those who have reported this one damaged well actually half missing. It is odd that the lid would remain while the cache gone. I wonder if a cache has found half a cache in their car LOL. I am planing a trip up this way very soon and will get a new container placed as soon as I can.
Found on a snow free day in nundle. Nice little hide, container lid very broken though.
Probably our last cache for the day. It's really cold now. A good hide in another lovely spot. Thank you
Found this one just before dark. Never been up this road before. Thanks for bringing us here.
Bit damp as the lid is broken so we tipped out the bits of water and left it upside down so the contents shouldn't get wet until the container is replaced.
Found it. Trouvé. 見つけた.

Lid broken so needs maintenance sooner rather than later - But a safe crossing over the Pearly Gates, no sign of St Peter thank goodness!

A wonderful spot to stop and listen to the birds and the other bush sounds on a spectacular autumn afternoon. TFTC Team Casho a great place for a cache. TNLN.
The lid of the container has broken and needs replacing before any rain arrives. Contents are dry at the moment.
An interesting area - but so hot (40+) and dry right now! And the creek is just a trickle. It's hard to imagine it flooding that high!

Visiting this very beautiful area for a couple of days. Found this one late in the afternoon so it was getting VERY cold! Left one of our pathtags. Thanks for the cache!
I found this cache while riding home from the Ulysses Club agm in Maryborough, Qld with a couple of friends. tftc.

Very interesting one, another for SJBS! Lots of trinkets in the cache, some good ideas for future exchanges!!
After nundling my way past a herd of cows on the road, I made it to the Pearly Gates [:o]
But I wasn't ready yet !!
I'm too young, take someone else instead....
A geocache is a geocache though and fingers crossed I wandered off to find it.
Phew, it was located on the earthbound side of the gates and I did not have to move toward the light to find it

We headed out to this cache and found it quickly. What lovely country around here, especially with all the rain recently (and maybe a bit too much water at times!!) We dropped a TB here but it's been picked up before I got to do this log, sorry.
We continued along to the highway at Wallabadah and really enjoyed the quiet country drive. TFTC Team Casho, great place.

Great little niche for this one. Like how it's only really visible from one direction of approach. Took gluestick & pen, left alien & polar bear. Thanks!
Easy find by MS Bushies2...our last find at Nandle before heading back to Tamworth. Thanks TEAM CASHO for the caches around Nandle and Hanging Rock, worth a visit.
The first cache of the day, and our first in and around Nundle. Visiting the area for a spot of field work on a three day trip around the northern tablelands. After passing 30km plus of windy dirt road from the Gundy Rd, this was the breath of fresh air we needed after the numerous blind corners and crests. Unique name for the bridge, Thanks for taking us here. TFTC
Had a busy time around Nundle. Found Gz in a short amount of time. Great place to go Caching
Interesting location. We thought about setting up camp for the night nearby but opted for higher ground at Hanging Rock as the river level was very high with all the recent rain and we didn't want to risk a repeat of the 2000 floods! Took TB.
Thanks,

What a great name - did not want to get here before our time, but anything for a cache. Dropped off TB. Thanks again Team Casho.
A great name for a cache, and a great little spot. For some reason I was surprised to find out that this was the Peel River. A clean and fresh mountain stream. thankyou for bringing me here. Took geocoin, Left travelbug shell from Germany.

Found at 11.00am GAFF1. The river was flowing quite fast after all of the recent rain - but it must have been really heavy to get it up so high!
Thanks Team Casho.
Thanks Team Casho.
Our seventh of the day on a day that included our 1000th cache find in Australia. And this was it!!!!!! TFTC
Wandered out this way to find another flood sign - a rare occurence but the seasons have been good lately with farm dams full & good pastures, thanks.
We grabbed this on the way out of Nundle after a top time. We ended up with an amazing 5 FTF's over the couple of days we were here, one of which was our 1,300 Cache. All the caches were good hides and all were interesting. Thanks for showing us a top little town and no doubt we'll be back one day to tidy up the ones we could find or couldn't get to.
