We spent a long time searching all the boxes around the hinted spot. Could not find it. Can the CO confirm it is still there?
(4 of 5 today)Its dinner with friends in the Illawarra, but the weather down here is not good. So decided I could target some Park & Grabs around Corrimal, then head north for something of a more acceptable wetness - red wine!Thankfully, the heavy rain I experienced on the drive down mellowed into a mere constant drizzle.Got five - hopefully on a future dry day I can do some more adventurous hides.###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###Parked around the corner and made my way to GZ. Scanned for anything obvious but spotted nothing. Checked from a different angle and spotted something suss a short distance away.Gotcha! Well that could have taken ages.Completed signing duties and T replaced. Time for one more to the north.SLTNLNTFTC
Found it! Tftc. That could have been way harder if you went deep, I'm glad you didn't. This one's a fave for me. Cheers Ironbark
Hi Day One.
My son and I New Year trip turn into drive into NSW and beyond. Today was more about driving. I found 9 today with few DNF. Oh well they do happen.
The breakdown was a mystery, community event, traditional, multi and adventure lab.
Day Two.
We carry on heading south down Newell highway grabbing more caches. Stopping for old and some new virtual, plus more non traditional for a challenge. Unfortunately some of those prove hard to find.
I had lots of fun doing earthcache they brought us to some wonderful places.
I found 26 today the breakdown was 3 virtual, 3 earthcache, 5 traditional and 3 adventure labs with 15 waypoints.
Day 3
Heading towards Mt Buller
After early start we started grabbing caches along the Newell highway to get more LGA cover.
I found 28 today with a lot of driving. The breakdown is 6 traditional, 9 virtual, (most I found in a day) 2 mystery, earthcache plus 2 adventure lab with 10 waypoints.
Day 4
Back up the mountain to finish of what I started. I was 5 later yesterday to get the photos.
After that I grab more caches around the Mt Buller Village. Plus I found one old traditional, it is in the oldest 5.
With finds total was 12. The breakdown is 5 traditional, 5 virtual, multi and at not least a webcam.(finally).
After we finished on the mountain we started to head to Canberra.
My son and I had lots and fun today.
Day 5 Canberra
Early start today chasing caches for a challenge cache that I need for my next loop. Considering my first caching trip was fly in fly out. This time maybe little bit longer. Still not much longer need to be home in couple of day.
I found 25 today. The breakdown was 16 mystery, 6 virtual, earthcache, wherigo, traditional. Plus couple of DNF.
Leaving day for Canberra to Yass. I had a few kayaking ones on the list but not enough time for all. I DNF 2 but a CO gave permission to log it. I found the wire where the cache was. Then I headed to a event to meet up Canberra caching community. Two of them I knew from Brisbane who have move back here.
I did some caching around the park then headed to Yass to stay the night.
I found 20 today. The breakdown was 10 mystery, 6 traditional, 2 multi, letterbox and a event.
Day 6, Yass
Early start today I was chasing more challenge caches. Some of these were high. Glad I had my ladder. One was to high for it. Maybe next time. I sign 18 Challenge caches, some I qualify for other I don’t. Couple I need only few finds.
Total finds today was 21 the breakdown 11 mystery 7 traditional and 3 virtual. Plus 17 sign logs but don’t qualify for.
And lot of driving closer to home.
Thank you CO for your hides and the maintenance you do. For us to find
Sorry for the generic log.

Found it. After trying not to use the hint I caved. Found it much faster. Just had to wait for a break in traffic so I didn’t look any stranger than I already did.
Thanks to the good hint we grabbed this on the first count. It could have taken forever. TFTC
3 of the Krew spent quite a while climbing around before I noticed the clue . From there a geokid had CIH in no time . Love this hide . No pen , but photo!
A really cool hide. Felt a bit funny in the side of the road with so many cars going past but if you follow the hint it is a quick find. TFTC and a FP from us.
Even at 4am this is difficult to get without being noticed. Had muggles standing down the road and the traffic. Crazy.
Out doing Sunday funday adventures with BarberBlackSheep from Sydney to Wollongong and collecting smilies along the way. On our way home we stopped to grab this one, quick park and scramble and had CIH yay! 10th find for today! TFTC
Quick stop and grab
Seems daunting at first but is quite manageable when you know where you are looking

We parked around the corner and walked around to GZ, where a young bloke had stopped to put something into his backpack, exactly at GZ. We did an about face and pretended to walk away. A quick glance back and he was now on his phone. Why didn't he hurry up and move away? We walked up and over the hill and around from the other direction, hoping that he would have moved on by now. What? He was still there! In fact, he was looking at us and grinning. He wasn't a muggle, he was a fellow geocacher. MrPython. We had only exchanged messages last night re his AL. It was a pleasure to meet him. Needless to say, we then had a conversation about life, the universe and geocaching. Actually we only talked about geocaching. What else is there in our lives and in the universe?
BTW, we found the cache, thanks to good coords and generous hint. This was well placed in an area that may have cars whizzing past, but is essentially muggle-free. But not geocacher-free. TFTC Ironbark

Found with Littl3Vix in between cars. A cheeky one! We would have been here a lot longer if not for the hint! Tftc!
Choosing a quiet night to geoventure to the area and pick up a new multi with Mizcupcake. We saw this cache on the way which would have been a nightmare to attempt in the day. So we headed over and gave it a go. After some searching we checked rhe hint and had CIH. Don't know how long we would have been there if we didn't. TFTC!
Brilliant cache. Hint was awesome, would have been a very long time without it! TFTC!
Came back here a 2nd time with 3 of us. Looks a lot less awkward than just 1 person. TFTC
Day 2 - Last day at the Gong with Rapidlywild for the Oz Geomuster 2019. Picked up a few caches before the Flash Mob and then a few after including a couple of old ones before heading back to chilly Canberra.
We thought this one was going take awhile to find but we were pleasantly surprised it didn't.
Thanks for the hide Ironbark and thanks Rapidlywild for another enjoyable weekend away.

Thanks for the hide Ironbark and thanks Rapidlywild for another enjoyable weekend away.
A weekend adventure up at the Gong with FFLL#1 was planned and put into action. We had already done the scout series, and we had collected the lighthouse series a few weekends prior to the event. This meant we had more time to dedicate to the Adventure Labs, Older caches and some more unique caches. Was a great weekend away and always alot of fun with FFLL.
Day 2 of the weekend event and it was time to collect a couple nearby our accommodation before making our way over to the Flash Mob event. A nice challenging cache which we like to find. Parked on a street nearby and wandered up. This location could really do with a good CITO, soooo much rubbish thrown into the rock wall cavities. Fortunately for us, it didnt actually take too long to find, we had a good idea of what we were searching for. Log signed and cache rehidden.
Thanks for the cache placement and maintenance Ironbark

After failing here twice before, we came back in the dead of night for another try. We struggled a little bit but the cache was found in the end, just as it started drizzling with rain tftc

After 3 DNFs I thought I would have a check as it sometimes has cache creep and even I struggle to find it but not this time.
It is sitting right where it is supposed to be.
You will have to look a bit harder. It's not hidden it is right in front of you.
Happy hunting.

Had a good look, followed the clue and did several recounts, but couldn’t find this one today
Had been told of a cache in this location many times but never stopped to investigate. Husband decided he wanted to wash the boat and this provided me with the perfect opportunity to hopefully claim a smile.
A quick walk up the road and I was at GZ, quick inspection of the hint and I started the count, after a recount I soon found the spot. Trying to pick the right moment to claim the smile was not as easy.

Coming back from down south and the D rating had us interested. On getting close we feared what it might be and were correct. Thankfully the hint is good and we soon made the find we a good count. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
This was a real challenge on quite a busy road. Timing our retrieve & replace between traffic light changes had us in stitches. Kutgw
With my little mate JTee18.
The exact box is down to how you interpret the clue, is the first box 0 or 1 etc... but rest assured you will be within a box or 2 either way!

Great camo cache but from help of old logs it is actually 9 across and 11 up! Cache no. 37!
Found with nissan 65 on a cool winters day. Sneaky cache coordinates spot on. Thanku for the cache.
Went for a little caching run on a Sunday before I start work again. I happen to recognise the sneaky camo. Cache is where is says it is, wait for a break in the traffic.
Tried twice in last 2 days, pretty sure I'm in the right spot but so far no luck at all.... hope it hasn't been moved again
Well Happy Uke and I headed down the coast to russel up some no good dirty caches. Wollongong that it to you folk. There appears to have been a serious outbreak of caches down in the City of Steel so we headed down that way to do our bit to clean up some of the problem.
Wow, so many places to choose from! All credit to Happy Uke again.
No need to thank us but thanks for the cache!

Finalf29 and I had some unfinished business with a couple of DNF's from a month ago. We found them, but created two more DNF's on different caches! We will definitely be back... can't let a cache defeat us. A wonderful afternoon caching and catching up on some old haunts, from when we lived down here twenty five years ago. We ended up finding twelve.
This was our seventh for the arvo. Finalf29 and I have driven past this one a few times now, thinking it would be in the too hard basket. We were on a high from just finding "Sweenies secret"... so we parked nearby and went for it. The hint is spot on and I quickly had the cache in hand. Favourite point from me. Thanks

Found with the help of the clue. Left a pen behind while I took the cache away to sign, so I would return it to its correct box. TFTC
14571. Found during a great weekend caching down in the Helensburgh / Wollongong region with specimenX and AngelG27.
A long planned weekend was finally here. An early morning departure from Canberra soon had us hitting the caches. After finishing the Scout and the Helensburgh puzzle series, we headed south cherry-picking some nice caches gradually getting closer and closer to our digs for the night. This was the next stop. Quick-ish find at GZ - love the high muggle factor !! Signed the log, replaced the cache, and we were on our way to the next one.
Thanks to all the CO's for their caches - very much appreciated !!

Off we go for another geomission! fitzy_1965, AngelG27 and I were off in the geomover to descend on the Illawarra region to knock off the Helensburgh puzzle series and whatever others we could nab along the way. Sunny spring weather and lots of laughs made for a fun weekend of caching!
The specific hints made the find on this one a lot easier! The passing traffic were probably thinking "what are those clowns doing over there?" [:O)] So fun!
Thanks for the hide, Ironbark Another fave from me!

Cache 2895 on 2/9/17
Fitzy_1965, SpecimenX and I headed out on a long planned geomission to Helensburgh and Wollongong to grab a stack of solved puzzles and as-yet-uncollected traditionals. We headed up the highway from the ACT to Appin, then down the hill to Helensburgh and then made our way south. We have around 160 caches on the list, but if we grab 100 over the two days, that would be fine, especially since I have a terrible head cold! Unless otherwise indicated, caches were found quickly and in good order. Thanks to my geo partners in crime for a fun weekend
Another fav for the day. Nicely done!

I had some sort of malfunction here on my last visit,Today I found the cache 60m away from where I had previously searched,no wonder I coulndnt find it !!
With gps in hand today, while scratching my head with confusion I walked to the GZ and went straight to it and found the cache,I think last visit I must of assume GZ cause my original search was from the wrong sign...hahahaha
Great to find it this time,
Thanks Ironbark for the cache

I have been looking at this cache for ages and I didn't think I would end up doing it because there was three DNFs but since the cacher called Falling_Rocks found it I thought I would give it a red hot go. I ended up not knowing what the hint even meant but lucky for me I had a friend who knew barely anything about geocaching so I told them the hint and bam they found it straight away.

Managed to make the grab after getting in 18 at Russell Vale. This spot is crazy busy at all times but managed a very small window and made the find. Took longer to replace but was good fun to be stealthy.

Thought i would have a go at this one after having such luck using the small window of time i had to find 2 caches on my mini break while geotoddler and geohusband had their nap. Looked up at the giant wall, read the hint, scratched my head for a while and was absolutely thrilled to have the cache in my hands! 3 finds for me today!! Definitely a favourite!!! Tftc!!!
OCWST for a weekend of caching. Nice quick drive by collection. Hint is definitely on target!
After a DNF with Pumba2015 earlier on (despite the CO's physical help) it was nice to be able to tick this one off the list. TNLFSL TFTC
Introduced two muggle-friends to geocaching. This was the nearest to their abode and was also an excellent demo cache for newbies. Pokemon Go, eat your heart out!

The last finders couldn't find it even when I was there so I went back for a solid look.
It may be there but put back in a way different spot and I couldn't find it so There is now a new cache in place pretty much identical to the last.
Happy hunting.
If you find the old one with an almost full log please put it back in the right place as the HINT suggests and let me know please.
To new finders please don't think it is clever to move it as it is hard enough already. Put it back exactly as you found it.

Pumba2015 and I weren't having much luck today finding caches. We'd stopped to find this thinking it would be rather easy.......hehehehehehe! Ahhhh...yeah nah - boy were we wrong! Accordingly we got beeped by plenty of passing vehicles one of which turned out the be the CO who stopped to say Hi! Running out of time and even with CO guidance we still didn't come up with the goods today but we'll be back. Don't underestimate what you are looking for here!
Found with lance91. I counted 12 up depending on whether the bottom space is a box.. So much searching, got beeped at, probably by other cachers who knew the struggle was real haha TFTC
7# find for the day
Felt pretty exposed and feel without the hint this would be a cache made by satan himself. After taking the hint into consideration we made the find soon after, much to my relief :p
Found with Davaura INC out for a day of caching the suburbs.

Tried for my 4th go not there m.. Someone has left a marking on bottom of wall and this time I went with someone who has already found it before and it's def not there.... Unless someone has moved location?!!?!
I found this Cache a few days ago. Went back with my brother today who wasn't able to find it, and it's definatley not there now. Someone had place a stick at the bottom on of the path and two little rock next to the box where the Cache was.... ?
Had fun looking for 45 mins but no luck. 99 percent sure I was in correct spot but no good
**FINALLY** found it after my 4th visit there! Thank you to **finchkaa** for posting the photo which helped me find it!
Thank you for an excellent hint. This was unnerving enough even knowing where to look but it could have been a nightmare. Surprised the aerial antics of a pudgy sixty-something on the edge of the road didn't cause some traffic incidents. TFTC Ironbark.
Found during a night caching session with some of the family whilst on holidays. This was a favourite,
Very clever! Geokid loved the climb!! 3 for 3 with ozartist. Wonder what the passerbyers thought of out strange activity roadside? Lol
