A quick find on a Golden Bay day. Unfortunately the log was pretty wet and full. Sorry I didn't have a new one with me to replace it
Heading out to Totaranui this morning, but not before grabbing these two caches here. Tide was in, no one around, beautiful place, TFTC
Today:Had most of the day to myself, while the rest of the family did some tramping around Toteranui. That's also where I started on my MTB, going over Gibbs hill, then down to the coast, following the main road + some diversions all the way to the bottom of Takaka hill. Found 20 odd caches along the way. Good weather, nice scenery, great success! This cache:Nice quick find at GZ, tftc!
Found it! Log paper is a little bit soggy didnt have any in car to replace sorry!
Magical beach - our Scotland family went swimming here - paper getting full - TFTC
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Today steffixx and me spent another wonderful day here in NZ while driving from Onekaka to Abel Tasman Nationalpark. In the evening, we stopped nearby and took a walk to GZ. We also enjoyed the beach here. We had to search for a while to find this cache, but in the end: we found it and wrote our names onto the logsheet. The logsheet is full and would need replacement. Thank you! Yippie - another found in New Zealand!! A big thank you to bumandworker for leading us here and showing this beautiful place and of course also for maintaining this cache here on site!Best wishes from the North Sea, Germany, from Cuxine . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ________________oooooooo____________oooooooooooooo_________oooooooooooooooooo________oooooooooooooooooooo_______oooooooooooooooooooo____oooooo_______oooooooooooooooooooo___ooo__ooo_______oooooooooooooooooooo__oooo____oo________oooooooooooooooooooooooo_________oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo_oooo_______oooooooooooooooooo________ooooo___ooooooooooooooooooooooo_________oo_ooo____oooooooooooooooooooooooooo_____oooooooo__ooo_oooooo__________oo___oooo_______ooo__ooo_ooo______oooo__ooo_______oooo___ooo__ooo___ooooo___ooo_____ooo___ooo____oo____ooo____oooooo__ooo____ooooooo____________ooo_____ooooo____ooo
Came here as been staying in Tata Heights for the past few days and saw this was here and thought it rude not to get it. Initially looked at the wrong stump and then walked away and reapproached to find another stump. But well into the bushes. I'm glad I had my six year old with me as no way I was going to fit through that gap with any kind of decency intact. So sent him in on the mission, and after encouraging him to have another look he called out found it. Left him in the bushes whilst I signed it and then let him escape.
Can thoroughly recommend a 6 year old as part of your caching toolkit as makes getting the low ones so much easier! He even just needs the reward of time on the beach.

A quick find with TARV2014 while in the area seeking out a specific cache to finish off our D/T Grids. All in good order. Signed log and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache.
Staying in Pohara for Easter weekend. Headed out for a morning swim and walk. There was a few muggles around, but all busy on the beach, quick find when spot located. Cache and log all fine. Thanks for the smiley.
TFTC. Stood still at ground zero and muggles passed by without even knowing I was there
There were some people around, but I waited them out before diving in. Unfortunately, a muggle was sitting on a nearby rock when I exited GZ, so I had to explain things to her. TFTC.
Branches on way in very strong. A little blood and scratches. Watch yourself. Beautiful beach
Becoming a bit of a mission getting to GZ with the plant growth. Got a few scratches for the effort though. Tftc
Day 11 - Labour weekend extended road trip with Kiwicampnut - relocated to stay south of the ditch.
Thanks for the cache bumandworker
Headed for GZ just as a group of bikers arrived. Luckily they stayed down at the carpark, so I'm playing tourist while KCN makes the retrieval.

On a trip with Ruru_NZ to gather the tour caches needed or in my case not done yet. Should be able to knock them off on this trip.
Managed to find quite quickly. All in good order

A day spent exploring & caching around GB, was a goodie! Lots of firsts for me Short walks I've been meaning to do but never seem to find time, we did this weekend Spectacular scenery right on my back door.
Haha not sure if the Tesla owners relaxing on the beach noticed us looking dodgy in the undergrowth...RNZ bush skills are well developed & he was in & out locating this one lickety split!

This is a tough extraction when busy, but we timed this ok after a car departed. During the return process I got the heads up from RG72 of a car coming so ducked low into the vegetation. Came out looking as nonchalant as hell. TFTC B&W, nice one.
Having a couple of days over this side of the hill. Finding caches and visiting lots of interesting places. This is a another lovely beach
#1506. Day 6 of a 9 day caching holiday in the Tasman region with GB Leader. After heading over the Takaka Hill yesterday, today we explored the area around our eco accommodation in Wainui Bay, as far as the road goes. Then off to Takaka for some exploring & caching. Bit tricky accessing this cache as the neighbours have chucked bits of cut taupata over the fence. Log is full. Added new page. Tftc.
Dam it.. I wish I brought togs with me.
Thanks bumandworker for creating this hide. It was find 9361 for me.

Planning for the NZ Mega 2021 event is well underway. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, October 2021

Found on the way back from Totaranui. There were some muggles about, but it was easy enough to avoid them.
#8545. I was staying with friends in Takaka and heading back to Nelson today. But I needed to visit the Wainui sandspit so I could collect a sample of sand needed for a 5/5 Earthcache placed in Oriental Bay in Wellington (Arenophilia). Now starting the drive back to Nelson. Stopped here on the way back to grab this cache. Parked and wandered down the path to GZ. I ducked into the shrubbery only to have a local kid wander pass and give me a funny look. Not sure where they came from as I thought the coast was all clear. Anyway after a short search I soon had the cache in hand. Signed the log and replaced the cache as found. Thanks bumandworker for the cache.
Nice day out at the beach today and a few caches to finish off. Sent NZ5 in to hunt and was able to assist to retrieve without much hassle. Good regrowth in front currently.
A nice quick find thanks. A bit of a dive into the shrubbery and the cache was found.
Found as we moved from Motueka into Golden Bay. The weather has been the best since we left Christchurch.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

What a lovely spot. Lots of people about enjoying the beach. It took a while to glimpse the location of the log through the overgrown bushes. I waited until there was no one near and was able to sneak in and grab the cache and sign. Thanks for the cache
#1068. Going for a walk along the beach we decided to stop in here on the way back. Following the fairly obvious geotrail made for an immediate find! Thanks very much for the cache!
Found straight away this time. Not sure why I didn't get it last time! Beautiful morning for a bike ride. TFTC
Spent my day finding Caches around the Abel Tasman Drive and this was one of them.

Biked over from Wainui, not a person around so a good chance to have a proper look. But no smiley here for me
Found with NZDi. We are on a five day holiday with our son, daughter-in-law, and three granddaughters. I have been under strict instructions from NZDi that this is a 'family' holiday, not a geocaching holiday.
Today we went out to Wharariki Beach for a picnic lunch and it was blowing a gale. We had 'sand'wiches for lunch. On our way back our son and family said they intended to drop in and visit some friends who lived in the area, so NZDi gave me a pass to find a few caches in the way back.
We figured our son and family would be some time visiting their friends so carried on past the camp ground to get a few more caches in the Ligar Bay/Tata Beach area. We attempted this one back in September 2015 when we spent a weekend in the bay but our GPS was all over the place and even though it was early spring at the time, the place was muggle central. Today the GPS (c:geo app on our smartphone) was spot on and it was a QEF PnG.

Early morning start and a perfect time to grab this one with nobody about. Thanks for the cache.
After failing at a more challenging cache (darn seals) at the other end of the beach, this one was an easy find for the girl. TFTC!
Parked our camper right next to GZ and enjoyed the location on a rainy day over a cup of coffee. Tftc
Over from the UK on a 4 week road trip of the South Island. Born and bred in Penzance, Cornwall, I just had to stop for this one. Super quick find for us here. TFTC.
So that’s where everybody is, at a party just around the corner. Much activity the other side of a neighbouring garden fence but no one in sight to spy me entering the bush near the GZ.
I spied the cache exposed nearby but tucked it away in the end of a nearby log.
Thanks

An easy find late this afternoon as it was cold and windy and few muggles around. Didn’t stop the youngest Harlandia from a quick dip while we shivered on the shore Tftc
This morning I had remembered that I wanted to have a look at the Wainui Falls before I leave tomorrow.
Yahoo!! A smilie to break my run of frowns.
Cheers for the cache.

Its a long weekend so The Seagnoid, Zara and I are off for an adventure to Golden Bay. The Seagnoid is navigator and Zara and I pair up getting us from A to B??
Left Zara at Tata Beach to check out the sights while we went for a stroll. We got beeped at by a kid in his amazing fort looking over the fence. He had binoc, flag, a computer and honky horn and was having a ball. Snagged and taged this on the way past. Cheers

Taybeedragon, Zara and I are on a glorious three day geotrip, inspired by our queen's birthday. Happy birthday, Liz!
We left Ligar Bay VERY early in the morning, arriving in Totoranui before dawn, so there were a number of caches missed on the way there. Since then someone has found the light switch, and we are filling in the gaps on the way back.
We parked up here and walked around Tata Bay. Quick find of the cache here, then on to Tata is a Playground. On the way there we met a young lad peering over a 3m fence - there is some sort of pirate ship or pirate fort up there, on the other side of the fence - he gave us a cheery hello and a thorough tooting

My morning geo-jog brought me here and I gave this one 5 minutes. I saw the hint, but still no prize. Awesome beach, my friends have a bach here. Visiting from Alaska.
Wanted to go for a walk with the doggies. Unfortunately no doggies allowed, just a shame as there are no people around. So I went alone to find this cache. It did took a while...was happy to tick it off
We had identified the hiding place very quickly but getting to it took a little longer due to passing traffic, it is a very popular place. As we were about to leave empty handed we had a chance to grab it unseen, so naturally we did.
Thank you bumandworker.

Sometimes luck is on your side. You misjudge GZ for one cache and find yourself at GZ for another. Not many muggles but they just didn't move. We struck just as we were going to give up. Thank you bumandworker
Found this one near the bach we were staying in after a great day at the beach.

Just home after our Golden Bay camping trip from the Marlborough Sounds. It was not a caching expedition but we did manage one or two . We were travelling with our camping group who, although not cachers, joined in the fun. Our travels brought us to your cache – many thanks, bumandworker, for bringing us to this spot. We’ve had great fun all the way.
Found while Team Walker NZ were on a Summer tour across Tasman to Golden Bay - enjoy sun, sea and sights. Happy New Year and all the best for 2016.
Another quick find. Muggles all well occupied TFTC.
