Had a good look, obvious location seems to have been disturbed, I think it has been muggled
This was to have been our first for the afternoon. Parked just up the hill and, shortly after, arrived at GZ. That's when it all came unstuck. Searched a widening circle around what seemed a likely spot, but gave up after about 15 minutes. Better luck next time? Our thanks anyway to solomonfamily.
Found it. Nice spot could have spent more time here if it wasn't for muggle son.
WOW, Biggest find yet! Can't believe I found it! Beautiful river nearby, great find!
Beautiful area...after nearly falling down a ravine, we then walked only a few hundred meters to the river and found treasure!
Today while one half of the Tritonz was attending a work meeting close by the other took the short stroll along the path to turn this cache into a smiley. With the weather being warm , the river looked very enticing, a pity a pair of bathers were not on hand.
Thanks solomonfamily for the hide.
Thanks solomonfamily for the hide.
Located this cache while having a stroll along this lovely part of river, A very nice to find and large sized container, did stamp sign my name in log and also retrieved a Travel Slug for some more travelling, will take with me on visit to New Caledonia and Vanuatu, hoping to find a cache or two so TB can have overseas visits, before dropping in Brisbane in March
What a lovely spot for the cache with Solomon's Ford adding to the beauty here. No trouble finding the cache after a muggle bike rider went past. Perfect day with a gentle breeze - 3 ducks sitting on rocks at water level and 2 others also enjoying the area and day. Due to the calm water the reflections were magnificent - what a pity we did not have the camera with us!!! One of the best Fords we have seen especially with those huge rocks to cross to the other side on! Thanks for the interesting notes on the area.
TFTC solomonfamily and for bringing us here to see this wonderful sight this am - much appreciated.

What a beautiful area, and with the river flowing after the heavy rain, it is great to see the ducks out enjoying it! Found easily, TFTC
Thanks for the nice, easy find. Found it while out on a stroll this afternoon!
On a bike ride up the Maribyrnong, made it up to the CO's namesake Ford here before deciding to head back home. Unlike previous jaunts, decided not to brave the Ford with our bikes and instead crossed back at the pipe. Lovely spot and an excellent container that could have been purpose made. Thanks solomonfamily for a great hide!
Out with geowife in a different scenery while out picking up my new car tftc. This has been tampered with found bits all over but is back where I think it was. Needs to be checked out.
I'm from Hobart but ancestors are from Bendigo! I imagine they would have crossed here at some time! Thanks! Cache is really waterlogged however.
Thanks so much! Parked way too far away on wrong side of river, but enjoyed the crossing.
Visited this area many years ago - beautiful!

No one was out fishing today and we enjoyed visiting this peaceful spot, in the middle of suburbia. I love these hidden away places, where you can forget the hustle and bustle of the city, yet still be in the middle of it. Thanks for the hide and bringing us here.
Tried to find a few years ago(in my early caching days), but ran out of time. Came back today & found it, in the wild winter weather. Tnsl
Great work on replacing the cache guys.
What a beautiful little pocket of the inner west.
No feet wet for this wuss! Drove the long way around

On a wet ANZAC day afternoon, King and Queen Sr with King Jr and Geoprince replaced the once Ammo box with a different sized container. Geoprince and I then crossed the running waters and returned a bit muddy. I had to restrain Geoprince from taking a dive into the swift running waters.
Now back online.

An exchange of phone calls between King Solomon Sr and Jr - we are considering our options.
Our thanks for the heads up and the photo.
It's definitvely unfortunetly gone.
Nice spot here but I think too easy for miggles and a wonderful box for Muggles to use it in garage at home or for fishing...
I hope, that the following Cache will be more happier.
Kind wishes,
Come2gether

Not too sure about this one! Might have found its hiding spot but not sure.. little scared of snakes in this weather but possibly could have been removed.
Visited twice with no luck. Mozzies had a heyday on my legs and feet but my signal was weak and the end result: no cache
Found in a nice spot, could not cross do get GCA cache due to muggles , thanks for this cache chockablock full of goodies c
, no tb though another month off my Jasmer grid

King and King with Geoprince and Geodog.
With thanks for the alert from Mauriziocorso77 - we decided to do a maintenance run today - we had not visited our cache for here for some time. On arrival we found the cache out in the open - which amused us - we replaced the log and refilled the cache with a new set of goodies before we rehid it and went to visit our GCA version on the otherside of the ford. Even King Sr made it over there
Our thanks for the alert.

Thanks for the find! The notebook is full however. This is my favourite geocache!
Down the track over the rocks and up the path to the GZ. Nestled neatly in the spot. Love an ammo tin. TNLN TFTC solomonfamily.
Great to find such a big cache in suburbia. Took a moustache and pencils, left a hair clip and bracelet. Great cache for the kids. Geodog even had a swim.

Awesome day for geocaching... And a great walk for the dog. First timers... With more chaches to find!!!
Love a big cache and even better when close to home.
Used to play here as a kid and my cousin lives close by. I can still remember delivering newspapers and dreading this hill.

I grew up in this area but have never been down to this path along the river before. A nice history lesson to go with the visit and who doesn't like hopping over rocks in a river. Until you put your foot up to your shin in that is. Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for a lovely day by the river =) A bit too cold for the small man to risk rock hopping but I've promised him we'll come back and do it in the summer.
I liked the history lesson associated with this cache…I also liked rock hopping across the river like countless others have done over many years. I stopped to get a couple of photos from the middle of the river before moving on to find a big cache. If it wasn't for geocaching I would never have known about this, thanks Solomonfamily.
I had an appointment nearby but I arrived a bit early so I decided to grab a cache whilst waiting. After parking at the top of the hill I walked down (dreading the walk back up lol) and hopped and skipped my way across the ford before spotting an ammo can peeping out at me from the bushes. Great to see one in suburbia. After signing the log I returned to my car, stopping past the nearby GCA cache on the way up (thanks for the waypoint, I wouldn't have known about it otherwise!). To top it off the climb wasn't anywhere near as bad as I thought it would be!

Found with sksjd on a day out for te school holidays thanks for bringing me to an area I would beer have known about otherwise tftc
Yay we found it & pitch black at night too! just out for a usual walk with our kids & dog. Signed log & left an Aussie lizard info card. Great fun so close to home. More around here would b great
Found while out riding the Maribyrnong River trail. The cache was visible from the trail though not too obvious due to the camo. Tried to make it a little less visible when replacing it.
Thanks for the cache and the history - very interesting. TNLN.

We found the geocache! It's fascinating it's been there since 2009! David & Beth
With jimmytherat nearly drowned crossing the ford but survived to find your cache. Never walked here before. Very enjoyable! Thanks for bringing to our attention.
Terrific find with Noelle04 and bafflingly the only cache on this terrific stretch of walking track along both sides of the mighty Maribyrnong river. Will need to go elsewhere for more hunting.
Find # 3934 @ 1:08 PM. My wife and son decided to do some baby shopping at highpiont, so I had an opportunity to do some caching. Easy find, TNLN, Left my mark in the log, Thanx for placing this cache....
