We had got cold and wet while out and about earlier in the day, and after warming up back at our accommodation, we noticed that the drizzle had cleared up, and the sun had come out, so it was time to head out before dinner to look for a few more caches. All quiet at GZ at this time. A quick find as I just happened to look in the right spot, and thought, wots that? A very old church indeed. TFTC.

TFTC, not micro size, larger.

14-Nov-23
I'd call it 'small' rather than micro.I could only just reach it from the footpath and I am exceptionally tall, so it may not be quite where the owner intended.

Found on a weekend away with PrincessJuzzy. We spotted the lovely church; part of our weekend was to stop and take awesome photos of pretty churches. I thought, surely there's a cache nearby. Lo and behold, there was! We did need to go into the property, but loved the type of cache. TFTC.

#19927. Day 10 of our holiday in SA and the weather forecast was for rain, showers and rain. Robmc and I loaded the geodoggies into the chariot and headed off around the countryside collecting caches where we could. Surprisingly, we managed 26 finds and finished off 2 waypoints of an AdLab we started on our last visit.

It took a bit of searching to find the cache here. We were at first misled by a large box with a red lid that has obviously been left for anyone who needs some enlightenment. I convinced Rob that this was NOT the cache so we continued searching and finally had the correct container to hand.

Thanks SnappyTomCats

Another day in the Barossa with BettyBoo3747 and the geodoggies.
The weather was looking a bit iffy so we traveled by car collecting caches in the rain around the Barossa.
Interesting history about the church.
The cache has a larger container in front of it with religious information inside.
I suspect this might be what the last finder located.
Thanks, Robmc.

Bit obvious! Rehid best I could. Second day in SA after plans seemed to be always sabotaged by you know what and border closures. Great caches in SA I hear with Fab days to come at this rate. Out on trusty treadles aka my MTB to find a few before heading to wineries with the crew. TFTC AND THE FUN

I looked high and low and couldn’t find this cache anywhere so then I just sat. Enjoying the sunshine and cool breeze and looking at previous logs for a hint. No luck.
Being Sunday I guess I could pray for some help… and to my surprise, my prayers were answered.
A parishioner, Malcom, seen me sitting and asked if all was ok. When I said I was geocaching and looking for something he told me that i might be looking for what appeared of the church steps recently
Amazing, that’s exactly what I was looking for. Once I signed the log, chatted for some time with one of his flock, I returned to where I believed it should have been.

TFTC Grandeeze (and Malcolm)
Keep smiling

Never seen this sort of cache before even though I have found a lot of fake rocks. The cache was found and is all good

With the weather looking a bit precarious in the city today I decided to headed north towards the Barossa to find a few more caches in the area before making my way through springton, mount pleasant and back home via kersbrook to find the new caches in the area. Total of 48 finds for the day.

Thanks for the cache

Today, a small group headed out past Swan Reach and Loxton collecting a few geocaches. We then returned to my vehicle in Truro, and I then spent the next few hours visiting Truro, Angaston, and Nuriootpa picking up a few target geocaches, Adventure Lab Locations (waypoints), and a few others just along the way. A long day out and about in warm-ish weather.

This Salem church was rather interesting. A quick stop and find, as I saw a neighbour from across the road watching. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Grandeeze for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.

In the Barossa, staying in Nuri with our good friends Snappy Tom Cats. Today, our day in the valley, so catching up with a few unfound caches.

Yes it really is there just took a bit of searching - as per the clue. Thanks Grandeeze (SnappyTomCats)

In the area having just had lunch at the lovely Sunrise Bakery in Angaston (Their new BBQ Pie is a must try!) I was determined to wipe this previous DNF off my map. Arrived at GZ with the Muggle mate whom insisted he help have a look with me Smile Luckily it was me, the Cacher, whom made the quick find today and not the Muggle, lol. [That's just embarrassing when Non-Geocaching Folk make a quick find on one of your previous DNF's [:o)]] SL at 12:21 on Sat 21 Oct 2017. TFTC SnappyTomCats Smile

After the recent transfer of Grandeeze caches to us we went out on a maintenance run. Checked on this after a couple of DNF's. Cache is all good and log is dry.
