A great find. Thankfully we were heading south. Pulled up to within metres of the cache so super easy. TFTC
Finally grabbed this one, always keep flying past this church and too late to stop, but I made point of it this time, quick park and grab, tftc Yeetrees
spacenarwhale and I were on the way to the ferry when we stopped to make this find. They made it quite quickly and we were soon back on the road. From here to Otaki the traffic was bumper to bumper; it took us about an hour to make it into the town itself.
Thank you for the cache.

Nice to read about churches and history of the region. found with Piwaka 54. TFTC
did a bit of night caching for this one, had a bit of a eerie feeling to it but thankfully it was a quick find. tftc
Posted this find on my way to Palmy - needed to do a (safe) U-turn further up the road to secure a park.
Found! Good idea to mention accessing it from the south. We gave it a good clean and added a treasure!
I was a little unsure about searching for this one on a Sunday morning, but no issues! TFTC!!
Cool little cache, easy enough for our little man to find. We left a little something to add to the other souvenirs...
TFTC great park and grab had to let the wife grab this one as I spotted a spider crawling back in its hole lol
We had a very nice holiday in New Zealand. Almost every day beautiful weather. We traveled with the camper home from the north to the south island. we have found a lot of very nice caches. Thanks for showing the nice places where we found the caches.

Attending the Wellington MEGA, great to visit here from the sunny Bay of Plenty, I have created a template in Cachly for the weekend, so Please excuse generic logs in advance. A great place to visit and another smiley to boot-yay!! Many Thanks to all you cache owners for the placements. Day one for me and collecting a few on the way down. Cheers
This is one of those caches where previously you would have driven passed and not even noticed the church so thanks to the cache owner we stopped and admired the quaint little church. Probably should have pulled into the layby to find the cache instead of where I parked. Easy find. TFTC.
A very nice looking church. On our way home for tea. Thanks for placing this cache here.
Returning home from a visit to Wellington for the day.A quick find and a good cache.Wrote the log and re-concealed carefully.TFTC!

Finally brought a car that I had want for the last 3 years and had to fly up to Auckland to drive it back to Dunedin. So 2 birds with one stone a new car and caching all the way home. This is one of many on the trip home was a nice and easy one to find till I realised there was an old fella watching put it back. Oh well to late by then. TFTC
On my way home after picking up my dog at the kennels near Levin. Decided to look for just a couple of caches. Crossed the road (very carefully) for a photo of the church. This was a straightforward find. #1613. TFTC.
This was the second day of my driving trip down to Oamaru for Geofest 2017. I stopped every five to ten kms or so along the way to grab a cache. This expanded my driving time to a total of two weeks to get there and home again. I ended up going a total of 3,500 kms. TFTC.
A quick find. TFTC
Caching with RosalieNZ completing the 100, 10, 7 Challenge. Cache log signed as ‘RE’.

Found it! Left a small toy water pistol. Cache is a bit wet and dirty but log book in good condition in well sealed container
As we drove up I had a hunch of where it might be. As we drove closer I was right. Before the car was stopped I was already pulling it from its hiding place. TFTC
Accompanied Yeetrees and Gonefishing on another excursion into the hinterland escaping Wellington. We found a number of caches around Otaki and Levin in our journeys. Heading home now after a long day.
Thanks to all the CO’s who placed the caches for us to locate.

#3791. I had the day off work so decided I needed another road trip to wrap up a very busy month (of geocaching). I am working on the DGSC challenge and foolishly decided to go for the bulk find elective which needs 1500+ cache finds in the year. But one month needed 300+ finds and I was close enough to that target in March so went for it today to get the remaining 61 caches I needed. So headed north to the tropics. Its amazing what you miss when driving up major highways. Never noticed this church previously. Parked next to the church as the trucks and cars roared past just metres away. Must be a difficult place to park for those attending church services! Only at this stage did I read the description and realise I should have left it for the journey south. Nevermind. Waited a while and had a big gap in the traffic so raced across the road for a quick and easy find. All good here. Signed the log and returned the cache where found. Thanks for hiding it here and showing me this interesting place.
We somehow over-shot the area ... but stopped anyway and walked back to the cache. Very attractive wee church, thanks for the cache Yeetrees.
Nicely maintained old church. TFTC. Found while on our geocaching road trip honeymoon.
Found on the way back up the North Island with FnJax. Dropped off a travel bug. TFTC
Continuing our trip South, had time to stop and find this one too. Missed out on previous journey. TFTC
Logged with GCDroid. Checked this out before heading to my overnight stop. Was going to make this the last but did another, just couldn't help myself
Stopped off in passing, good opportunity to stretch the legs. A quick find here today, a bit of moisture in the container so drained that, signed the log and left as found.
Thanks for the history Yeetrees - very interesting.

TFTC. A very welcome stop on the way back from Today's orienteering event. Easily found, and in good condition.
A nice easy find opposite a very cute church! We were on our way from Palmerston North down to find Kevin Andersons cache in Lower Hutt. The oldest in New Zealand! Thanks for hiding.
#2020 and 101 of Yeetrees caches. A quick stop on the way south. All in order at GZ - log dry, bag good etc.
Thanks for another Yeetrees cache and another smilie. Found with wb-jnr

#11! Found quite quickly by my Austrian Wwoofer companion, Carina! She may not be a muggle much longer. Thanks Stefanie too. TFTC
I came over to New Zealand to meet my son, who was staying for nearly six months on the other side of the world. Our intension is, to travel now for 4 weeks through this fantastic land and visiting a lot of fine spots on both islands.
Met in Auckland, our first trip led us to the Far North with some spectacular locations. It was a lot of driving, but we think, it was worth the result.
The second part of our travelling route led us to the south. Going via Hamilton with some fine locations, Hobbiton was an absolutely must of our "unexpected journey" . Went then to Tauranga with a hard upclimb to Mt. Maunganui, visited Rotorua to see lot of vulcanic activities, have had a lot of fun with Zorbing and Claybird shooting and drove then to Taupa, to doing Skydiving.
Napier with it's beautiful Art Deco district and the great Aquarium was the next stop.
Final destination on the North Island was Wellington, were we visited some great places and met some friends from Germany.
After crossing Cook Strait now we followed the east side of the southern island down to the most southern point of New Zealand.
Blenheim with its wine yards, fantastic dolphin watching in Kaikoura, the story of earthquake in Christchurch, following the famous coastline down to Dunedin with its beautiful and interesting places as well as the nice city of Invercargill were our main spots on this part of our journey.
Being in the South, the way now went up on the west coast back to the north. Crossing the Fjordland with its famous landscapes we've reached Te Anau to do a private flight over Milford Sound, then spend in Queenstown some time with the most spectacular activities ever done (Canyon jumping and Shotover canyon jetriding were some unforgetable experiences!) the way led us to the glaciers, up to the nice town of Westport and further to Abel Tasman Park to doing an unbelievable hike trough the park and an outstanding kayak tour with seal and bird watching.
Nelson, Picton; Cook Strait is waiting again for us.
Of course, even if was is not our main activity during this holidays, we were looking for some caches, which are laying beside our route.
So this cache was one of those, we've picked up.
Many thanks to Yeetrees for this fine cache and best greetings from Germany.

We spent 4 incredibly wonderful weeks in New Zealand for vacation and
had a lot of fun to discover all the marvels of this country.
Day 16 - After a 3 hour drive we arrived in Wellington and didn't loose time to explore the city.
We caught the cable car to the top and wandered back down via the botanic gardens
with its many varieties of New Zealand plant life. Beautiful!
We finished the day with a relaxing stroll on Cuba Street.
Besides we still found time for geocaching and picked up quite a few caches on our way.
This was one of them!

From 19th February to 20th March Stadibast and I visited New Zealand. Half of the time we made a trip around the North-Island. After a short stay in Auckland we went to: Bay of Islands, Cape Reinga, Rotorua and the Wai-o-Tapu-Thermal Wonderland, the great Taupo-lake… We made a Rafting Tour in the Waitomo-Glowworm-caves or hiked the Tongariro–Alpine-Crossing and, and…
In the second part of our holidays we visited the south island, hiked in the Abel-Tasman-Reserve , went to the Marlborough-Sounds, the Golden Bay, the Oparara-Arch, the Franz-Josef- and Fox-Glaciers, had a great sight on Mt. Cook and Mt. Tasman, relaxed at the Wanaka- and Hawea-Lakes,….
New Zealand is a very amazing country and with exceptional natural sites. We are very impressed of these great nature monuments and sights and we are happy that we met so much friendly and helpful people.
On our way to Wellington we stopped here. Nice little church. Thank you for showing.
Greetings from Germany.

On the way to Wellington. Stopped for a couple of quick retrievals and was not disappointed with this one.
This cache was one of the many caches we found on our 6 day campervan journey from Tauranga to Lower Hutt via Waihi, Cambridge, New Plymouth and along the west coast to Wanganui and back to the Hutt. A mighty and enjoyable journey which took us to many great and iconic parts of the north island and of course some great geocaches. Many thanks to the many CO's for the great cache placements and for bringing us to so many new places. Sorry about the generic log but 200 plus to log. TFTC
Thanks for the history and the cache Yeetrees

Lovely little church. The road was busy being the last day of the Christmas New Year break but I eventually managed to get back in the line of traffic.
