Logs
Should have flown Singapore to Auckland last night but the flight was cancelled. Instead they flew us to Sydney with a 12 hour stopover before going to Wellington. Might as well make the most of it, so we headed out for some caches. Walked from the Airport along Botany Bay to Captain Cook Bridge, about 10km. Managed 10 caches and 2 swims. Straight forward find here. Cache and log all fine. Thanks for a great hide.
#4126 Found after the short search. Trouble with GPS reception under the motorway.TFTC
Killing time while I wait for my delayed flight to London. A great way to stretch the legs before a long flight. A quick easy find. TfTC
clever and fun! nice to stop and notice the ducks when we normally just zoom past
Very clever! A favourite point from me. Hanging around waiting for my daughter to fly in from Canada. Shes been away about 7 months. Tftc
This cache was found today and brings our overall cache find tally to 12810.An early morning start for this one in the pre dawn before heading to the airport. A nice quick find. Thanks Snowyvl for the cache.
Really cool hiding spot. Log was running out of room so left an extra piece of paper I had on me in it. TFTC.
A quick trip to Sydney to meet up with RoamingHowie who was en route to QOGM.
Day One: An early morning flight from MEL. Then, passing through as many LGAs as possible as we drive up to Newcastle, finding various caches along the way.
A new LGA for us. We searched for a while with our GPSrs being a little all over the place due to the concrete above. But RH soon put his hand on it.
Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, Snowyvl

Day 6. A last minute plan had been hatched to make my way to QOGM. Very little planning had been done but a very rough outline was in place and it was going to be a day by day trip.
OZHockeyChick was flying in this morning for 3 days of caching around Sydney and Newcastle including Frying pan!
The GPS and map had us a little further up the path, but knowing what we are looking for made it a process of elimination. Winning!
Thanks Snowyvl for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

Out for an early cycle down to Ramsgate, grabbed this one on the way. Stopped then realised I had my hand on it, that was super quick lol. Thanks for placing this cache Snowyvl, #2079
Simple find this morning on a walk from Wolli creek towards botany bay. All in good condition, thanks!
Quick to work out style of hide, though actually locating the cache was a bit harder.
That said process of elimination yielded cache. Lucky to not have too many muggles here... Thanks

Omg this one was really cool I have rose past this sooooooo many times it really is cool thanks for placing this cache mate.
First cache for the day as I cycled from Wolli Creek. A quick find thanks to the logical placement of this cache. Much appreciated. TFTC Snowyvl

Out on a bike ride along the Cooks River Cycleway with Rama497.
I've never been along this path before. A great spot to come to. Cache was quickly found, signed and replaced in between passing muggles both cyclists and pedestrians.
Off to find some more as we cycle along.
Thanks for the geo-fun Snowyvl.

Out Caching today with Calypso62 and to travel along the Cooks River.
This was a quick find.
The container had no papper so added some.
This one needs maintenance from the CO.

Got the train to Wolli Creek today with the aim to cycle to Taren Point and do some of the adventure labs around there, but forgot it was magpie season and only checked on the train there, where magpies were swooping this season. Seeing three marked on the approach to taren point bridge I was hesitant to go that far and get in their path. So started some other finds on my way out to brighton. Never seen the path so quiet, guess it is a weekday and I've only ever come on weekends before.
Took me way to long to find this cache. I thought I had an idea where it might be on approach and I was right. I just didn't look in the right place to the end, when retracing my steps found somewhere I had seemed to miss. Thanks.
Found the cache and a golf ball. Spotted some ducks in the pond. An older hide too which is nice! Tftc snowyvl
Nice break in the weather to sneak out and find a geocache.
Saw ducks on the pond.

Doing some weed control here but ended up having to take the long way around for a quick find. Tftc tnln
Arrived at GZ and seemingly intuitively knew what to do, just checking each one until I uncovered the cache. Love these really clever camos in plain sight TFTC!
Nice walk and nice hide. Thanks to the Geohusband @Nosmada for bringing me down here. TFTC
Quick find today, with not too many muggles around.
Several logs have been added to the cache over time and were squished in, making it hard to remove any. I removed the more tattered ones and left the only one with any space. It is also very full and needs replacing.

Did not bring a pen so log is not signed but i have attached a photo for proof. It was quite easy because the 'metal safety object' was lopsided.
If you bring your dog be careful because mine was very startled by all the animal sounds and the cars and the bikes.

Upon reaching gz and reading the hint, I knew exactly what I was searching for and sure enough, not long after I started searching, I found the cache! Thank you!
My muggle friend and I come running by here all the time. I usually point at random places and (falsely) tell him “there’s a geocache there” it’ll be nice to actually show him next time ahaha tftc
I have ridden my bike thru here many times before but this was the first time I came on foot. The cobwebs put me off track but I found it eventually... There is almost no space left to write your name though, so it is probably worth replacing one of the papers with a new blank one. TFTC
Found this! Great clue, and lovely walk to get there. Didn’t have a pen, and there was a spider living in the cache! Took a photo as proof, however it is very much a giveaway. Cache owner- I can send you the photo if you would like the proof of find. TFTC
Quick find and nicely camouflaged. Didn’t know this cycle way was here and may come back on bike one day TFTC
Really fun to find.. I'm pretty sure we were the only ones walking everyone else was on a bike!
Found and saw ducks as promised! Be cautious of bikes coming around the bend. Container is becoming full with log paper.
Had a feeling what the camo might be, but still had to experiment a bit before finding the cache. Nice spot, complete with the advertised ducks. TFTC.
I arrived on the bus from Canberra, as tomorrow I fly to Norfolk Island. After I dragged my suitcase to my overnight airport hotel, I set off to find some caches. The GPS's accuracy was not great here, but the good hint let to a quick find. The cache was in the first place I checked. TFTC Snowyvl.
Ducked past after work, but before the commuter rush.
A brisk look revealed the camo, signed the log and then carefully replaced under the gaze of passers by.

I've often driven above this pond and even had time to glance down and see some ducks, distantly.
Today I worked out how to actually detour to get here. The street was much more crowded than I expected and I had to park quite a distance from the walking track.
Once on the track I could see plenty of items matching the hint, chose one and began to try and find the one containing the cache. Hmm, tried them all, no luck, none moved.
I began to check again working my way along. Finally back at the first one I tried, and guess what, it sprung off - lucky it didn't go where I couldn't get to it!
I put the container in my caching bag and was signing the log when a group of council workers walked along, photographing goodness only knows what. Luckily a flock of ducks of various species swam into view at just that moment and I was able to look like I was recording the species and numbers so did not look out of place. Once the workers were well out of sight I returned the cache to its original place.

On my way to the hotel, I diverted to grab a cache.
A quick grab today.
Thanks heaps to Snowyvl for placing M5 Duck Pond. I found it this evening and added my name to the log. Put it back where I found it and continued on my way.

Didn’t take too long to narrow down the correct one! Thanks for the cache. Made a nice quick find on a Sunday afternoon.
I knew this cache was here and have driven over it many hundreds of times. Today was the day when I stopped and found where it really was.
Parking is challenging here. Do people leave their cars here while they travel? I spotted a likely place from some distance and guessed right. Thanks Snowyvl for the find.

Groovy hide, is fairly obvious once you look closely enough. Found after a bit of a hunt. Thanks for placing, interesting spot here.
Good to finally get a smiley here. The pond is brim full after the weekend rain but not a duck in sight. TFTC
At a conference at Mercure - out to stretch legs on lunch break. Nice cache. TFTC.
GPS off slightly probably due to concrete and traffic but made the find as it was fairly obvious with the hint. Thanks
Parked as per suggested waypoint by the CO, walked the short 150m to the item that needed closer inspection and as per hint, CIH, thanks Snowyvl
Hello and good morning Australia. I'm so happy to found my first Cache Here. Little walk (ca. 45 minutes) to the Cache and back to the Airport. Now the Journey beginns.
Cute setup! Like combination of clues and description that puts on right track. Made like an innocent bird watcher and did see elegant long necked water bird. After reading some logs had CIH.
No ducks today unfortunately.
However i did have to duck around a council worker putting up some barbed wire and an older muggle with his granddaughter (i presume) at the GZ.
I’d come across a couple of this cache type before so i had an idea what to look out for.
Thanks.

A few hours to kill in Sydney this morning so a chance to stretch the legs and grab a couple of finds. Quickly found and signed while avoiding the cycling muggles. TFTC [^]
On a very short Sydney stop over before heading to Norfolk Island... just enough time to grab a couple of geocaches. Got to GZ fairly easily and then 'The Mr' found the cache almost straight away. We've seen a couple like this before. Thanks for bringing us to a part of Sydney we wouldn't have been to had it not been for geocaching.
First struggled with how to access this place but drove off the m5 and then it wasn't too far away from there. Rainy day, so luckily no muggles after I read the spoiler hint I was pretty sure I had it cause it came off but no logbook. Wanted to leave thinking it must have got lost. I turned around looked at the water then touched accidentally sth with was it. So lucky!!
Just be patient people Many full logbooks are inside. TFTC!
