A little harder to find than I expected. First because of a lack of reading comprehension on my part and then because the cache was well hidden!
Trying to find this cache was my introduction to geocaching like 10 years ago, we didn't find it then, really enjoyed coming back and finally finding it, we were SO close on the first go haha.
A nice and easy solve and find, I was in the area and needed a small find, so it was perfect. Thanks
TwoEms have played snakes without ladders, three times in the last year. Having experienced a close encounter with onelarge hissing serpent of fearthat startled us only a step away from underfoot, we are now much noisier when we play this game. Although we did not expect to find any snakes here, we miss being kids and having the carefree vivacity that comes with ignorant bliss. Thank you for the cachefun and games.
My usual trip out to this area caching whilst my oldest is at VSL in Box Hill. After grabbing a coffee and a bite to eat at my favourite cafe, I made the short drive over here again. I have been out here in the past without success and noticed the CO had been out here. This time I had no problem locating the cache. It was well placed and the co-ords were a lot more accurate. Thank you for the cache here GJMMelb
On our hunt for 6 multis today, for a Challenge. This was an easy multi to solve and find. Thanks GJMMelb for our second find today.
Love a short straight forward multi. Parked, collected required info. Pleasant stroll to the cache. Quick find.TFTC
Cache was indeed missing! Replaced in a better spot and actually closer to the co-ords as read today lol
Enroute to a T5 event today, I searched out some caches enroute. I'd obtained the final coordinates during a virtual trip in the days previous, so headed straight for GZ. I found something that may or may not have been the camo intended to cover the cache, but no container. Contacting the CO, it was confirmed later that the cache was indeed MIA. I will return another day to find the replacement.
Couldnt find the sign at the park to get the co-ordinates. Not sure if we were at the right park along Cootamundra walk?
Back after many moons to find this one. Managed to get it on the second go. TFTC GJMMelb. A nice little spot!
I decided to try and turn my attention to work on a new challenge, [ahomburg's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=1ded3729-fe62-40bb-9f5f-fd559e7163b1&wid=54e007c1-391b-4f69-b6f2-af7b91887d92&ds=2) [WCW - 50% Multi Calendar Challenge (GC9Z58Z)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC9Z58Z) and I needed to find a multi cache today in order to fill in a missing date.
However, I ended up getting off work a bit later than I wanted to, and so I had a look around on [Cachly](https://www.cachly.com/) for an easy multi cache when I spotted this one.
I may not be a Kid, but I figured this one sounded fun and looked like it would be a fairly quick find. I ended up parking fairly close to the posted coordinates and made the short walk over. I then quickly spotted the sign and worked out the coordinates for GZ.
My first set of calculated coordinates were almost a Km away from the park.
*mmhmm... that doesn't seem right...*
I then quickly double checked my numbers and found my error. Now with the correct set of coordinates worked out, I headed off to GZ.
The walk and park today was just absolutely lovely, a nice little pocket of nature here. Once I arrived there was a little bit of back and fourth as my phone tried to home in on the correct beacon, but eventually I spotted the telltale sign of a cache!
A big thanks goes to [GJMMelb](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=590a63f2-f374-4bfe-97d1-a4a965a81ac4&wid=7a5aeeba-ebc8-434a-a9b5-066a6fd71f15&ds=2) for the fun today. TFTC.
**Cache Maintenance Status**
The cache container was in good shape, but the logbook was a little damp. The plastic bag is a bit ripped and may not be protecting the logbook as well as it use to. However I was still easily able to sign the logbook and the the logbook still had plenty of space for future cache finders to sign.

Today I went out caching with Redcb. The weather was perfect for our activities, and her company, as usual, was very enjoyable.
I also get much enjoyment from multi caches, and this one worked out very nicely.
Thanks GJMMelb, nicely done.

Found today while out caching with Crustyvarmint. The weather and company is fabulous and the day is turning out just perfect! TFTC GJMMelb
Checked my calcs a few times but could not find this one today TFT walk though. No muggles out today so got a good look
A beautiful tree at the start here with so many talkative rosellas in it!! This was a nice little multi for us even though we took the long way round to it
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
Checked on our cache today. Looks like there has been some cache creep. We left it in the new position as it should be found easier with an up to date hint. Co-ords within 3-4 metres
After dropping one of my kids at Box Hill for VSL, I went caching around the area until it was time to pick her up again. I had my middle daughter with me.
We did a very thorough extended search here. We spent a good 20 mins looking everywhere and expanding the search radius. Nothing was found.
Thank you anyway GJMMelb. Might need a check here.

Nice and easy to get the numbers. A bit of a search was required at GZ though.
Travelled back to my home state of Victoria from New Zealand to attend the Whittlesea MEGA (and maybe visit family!)
Thanks for the cache, GJMMelb

Thanks for the cache found it after looking through lots of possible areas! Had the. Coordinates already from a previous visit, and made the find quicker.
Another stroll with Dad to find this cache, but we started from the East end of the walk. This walk is the stuff of my childhood, back when Blackburn Square was nothing more than a Safeway, a Jewel, and a bakery; there were many weekend bike rides with Dad to the bakery for a gingerbread man. The playground back then was sketchy at best - nothing like it is now.
GPS had us rummaging around the wrong place for a while, but we found the correct GZ eventually. So many potential hiding spots! The hint proved to be quite inaccurate; perhaps someone replaced it incorrectly in the past.

I was out with my boys in Mount Waverley making the most of the last weekend before term 3 starts. We had completed an escape room and this cache was on the way home. The numbers were crunched and a good set of coordinates were figured out. After a short work the cache was discovered in about the 10th place we looked. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for us to find today GJMMelb.
I was catching up with a friend for dinner so headed out beforehand to grab a cache or two.
This was a relatively quick multi to solve and a set of plausible coordinates was soon in hand. I set off for GZ and begun searching all the likely locations nearby. It turns out I walked past it multiple times as I was focused on more obvious locations. A face palm moment when I finally noticed it.
Thanks GJMMelb for placing this gamepiece in the wild for us to find.

After picking up our kid from a day at childcare, we decided this was the perfect place to come for some fun and games.
The park looked familiar, I think I've ridden my bike through here before but not near GZ which was a bit off the path. Lots of possibilities and after a bit of a search we had the cache. TFTC!

Another multi still orange amongst all yellow than needed addressing. The coordinates were sorted out and I was off to GZ. The cache took quite a while to find, I walked around it without realising what it was. Got there in the end though.
Out and about for our allotted Healthy Exercise with Poss and knocked this one out. Nearly fooled by the number of words at WP1, but realised in time.
TFTC!

Today I bought a new car. Having collected my new car from Blackburn Kia, my daughter and I decided to celebrate by collecting a nearby cache. This was the closest unfound cache we had so a quick solve of the coordinates and we were on our way to collect the final. We were a little tentative given the signs close to GZ and next to the path asking people to stay off the vegetation, however we were very light footed in making the find. It is not in the obvious place. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache GJMMelb. It was great to find your first one. I love my new car
Visiting from SA and wandering around the city on trains, picking caches out as I go. I haven’t had a multi for January yet and this looked like a good one. Glad I chose it! An easy walk from Blackburn Station, simple calculation, and quick find at GZ, not too icky despite a downpour an hour ago. Quite an ecosystem going on at GZ, but no snakes were seen. Thanks so much for this multi.
Cache visited and maintained as part of our exercise for 25/10. Cache is all good to go at midnight tonight!!

Sadly, here we go again. Stay safe and healthy everyone. Hopefully see you in 6 weeks
May we suggest that you please use hand sanitiser before and after finding this cache - thanks This cache is being re-enabled with the hope that Community spread of Covid19 remains extremely low. We will visit each cache in the coming weeks to make sure it is still there and in good condition.
Was out with a walking group so decided to collect the necessary data and have a group hunt for the cache. After checking the usual places I called a halt, and then decided to check one more spot and there was the prize! TFTC
I have a big backlog of drafts I am now trying to get through. I've been good with some of the more recent ones, but some are now a couple of months old so it's well past time to clear them. Apologies therefore to the COs for the generic logs - some might get extra words if they come to mind. Either way, my generic logs should not be taken as any indication that I am not very much appreciative of all the effort the COs have put into making these caches for us all to enjoy. TFTC
Found with a correction from a friend. Great day for a stroll. Thanks for placing this for us to find.
The light was starting to fade but I figured there was enough time for one more cache. I decided to head to this multi having read the information - seems simple enough. In my rush to find the cache (a) before dark and (b) my phone battery finally died, I made one tiny error which led me on a wild goose chase. I never learn with multis! Once I figured out my mistake I was able to find the well camouflaged cache rather by accident that design, but they all count! TFTC
Having solved this a while ago while the cache was MIA, I was pleased to avenge my DNF today. A short walk in a familiar place, as I take my great Aunty here regularly. Thanks so much for placing this cache GJMMelb, and for performing maintenance.
F(H)ound it! #3038 @2:50 PM
I am down from Queanbeyan, visiting the out-laws for a week or so.
Joining the Sister Outlaw for a bit of birthday caching.
WP1 was so big we nearly missed it. Then a nice walk to GZ. This was a nice stroll for the Ridgeo-pup and a nicely constructed container.
Thanks for the cache GJMMelb

I had been keeping an eye on this one for our self-imposed multi-month in February, but unfortunately it was disabled for some of that, so it didn't make it in. When I saw it had come back to life I thought it'd make a lovely trip for my 3-year-old daughter who, despite initial enthusiasm, has come to realise that "geocaching is boring". The thought of some treasures did make the trip a little less tedious and after collecting the required information we soon had the cache in hand. She spent a good ten minutes deciding precisely which of the stickers she wanted and then we (further) rewarded her with a trip to the playground. Unfortunately, while the outside temperature was okay when we first decided to leave the house, 3-year-olds take more time getting ready than a teenager before a big date, and it was very hot by the time we got there. Geopartner and I had a go on the big rope swingy spinny thing, but our trip was cut short when our 3-year-old realised how hot the play equipment was. We'll have to come back for that rope thing though. Thanks for the cache and thanks for the new playground.
I returned today but no.luck again. One very good looking bit of camo but no luck. The muggles have left heaps of junk

SirJ-Oz has a target number of finds for the year but was falling behind the required rate so we arranged to catch up for an after work mid-week caching run. I was running a bit early for the scheduled pick up with the wizard so I managed to try a few caches in the area. After a DNF nearby I headed on to this one and parked in the nearby shopping centre. I have a tendency to avoid multis when time its pressing but this was as simple as they get. I collected the info at the posted coordinates and trotted off to GZ. There were a few options in the vicinity that looked likely but I found it before too long. My second of 22 finds on a productive evening of caching. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache GJMMelb.

I needed a cache today to fill a spot on my grid, and so set off after work to this lovely location. Gathered the required info, did the quick calculations, and headed over to gz.
Such a beautiful, peaceful place. I loved listening to the variety of birds.
What a great first cache! A fav for me.
Cheers GJMMelb

A nice stroll through this quiet little reserve and made the nicely hid cache. Tftc!
I'd tried to find this one some months ago and had no luck so after receiving notification that the cache had been replaced I thought I'd venture over and try my luck again.
Unfortunately I had lost the finals or perhaps they are buried in the middle of one of the notebooks I tend to use whilst caching. So, off to the posted coords I went, made the same mistakes (again), crunched the numbers (again) and took a pleasant walk to the same GZ as last time.
The result was (thankfully) different this time around. Duties done, cache replaced and it was time to vacate the area as the clouds are once again building.

Cache replaced today, sorry for the delay, Friends of Cootamundra walk also there today doing a clean up of the area. They know about the cache
This was lots of fun and games with a kid! Never walked through this lovely little spot before, so thank you for bringing us here GJMMelb. Son_of_a_doctor and I really enjoyed finding this cache and watching the lovely minor birds going about their business. Took nothing, left another wild animal to enjoy the park.
I had fun with the puzzle! Dropped a TB. it was very creative and it was a lovely walk. TFTC GJMMelb
The first cache is a special one - what a lovely spot. I've often driven past it but never stopped, thanks for the push to explore. The wattle are looking great at the moment - they herald "Guling" season on the Indigenous calendar, which only runs for the month of August. Kind of a bridging season between Winter and Spring. TFTC GJMMelb
This was a great one! Kids did the calculating, hubby did the final movements. So exciting......then we had a play at the park tftc, well hidden.
Found just after sunset with Becalee. Made a mistake when counting the coordinates but it worked out for a second try. Nice stash TFTC
Found in the evening with Raveboyy, a wrong calculation took us for a little walk, but then we found it and was a nice cache thank you
Wahh... Must find a multi... But I've been in bed for days with a cold... Nice... Short multi... Yay!
Great little walk through bush. Found the cache without much trouble. Interesting way of camouflaging the cache.
This took us to a nice forested piece of land in the middle of suburbia on a nice sunny Sunday afternoon. we had a lovely walk and found a well hidden cache
With Zedaycee and Angelique Anja.
With Zedaycee and Angelique Anja.
first time successfully doing a mlulticache. and the first time taking a travel bug. a bit hard using the gps but found it in the end.
Found after a short search - we had tried previously without luck and had assumed that it was missing. This time no problems - nicely hidden. TFTC
One of the things I love about Geocaching is that it shows me things i knew nothing about, that have just been around the corner. I have passed down Springfield Rd for over 40 years and I never knew this park was here - and it's a great little reserve!
After a little letter and number juggling, Dynamo, Emeylo, The Purple Minion and I were off to GZ - via the playground, of course, lol.
As per usual, Emeylo made the discovery. As her reward, she swapped out a slinky and left a torch. We also dropped off a TB that we have enjoyed having with us for a couple of weeks.
Thank you, GJMMelb, for a crafty cache. I really appreciated the cool swag for the kids. And it was nice to be first to sign the replacement logbook. Thanks for bringing me to this 'hidden' gem.

As per previous logs. Widened search area to 10m of gz with no luck. Pretty place. May not have my caching eyes on today
Went looking this afternoon to get the geokids out of the house. Searched what we thought was ground zero but couldn't find it. Found a lot of tree sap and had fun at the playground anyway.
Found after a nice quick walk this morning.
The coin however was not to be found so Kanga's Scarab Stamp made an impression.
Thanks GJMMelb for the fun and find.

I went to Blackburn High and shopped at Blackburn Square, but never visited this oasis. Tftc, you've come a long way (hooked on books, shudder!)
Suscoe was up very early today to make the most of our final hours in Melbourne.
We had quite a few places to visit and so we were keen as mustard to get going.
Again this morning the drizzle had set in but it was short lived and soon the sun started to pop through some scattered clouds.
The roads were pretty quiet today which we were pleased with.
We collected what we needed, sorted out the required numbers and set sail for the cache.
Well what a quiet place this morning.
Container located and the log was signed.
All good here today.
Thanks to GJMMelb for this multi.

Out with grumpygramps1 tonight on my quest for 1000 cache in 2015. A pleasant evening out, a few drivebys and a few short walks. TFTC
Simple multi for me and 90 year old muggle Dad. He and Mum walked here when they lived nearby. TFTC. Took nothing left frog and eraser.
As I'm just a kid at heart I enjoyed getting the info from the sign, but not nearly as much as the walk through this delightful bush area in the midst of suburbia TFTC GJMMelb
Always put off by the thought of those slippery little sucker that slithery i the bush. Even the thought that they hadn't been seen here had me treading carefully while locating the final resting place of this cache. Lovely day for a walk TFTC A park Ive noticed but never been in
I was in the area this morning with a few hours to fill in while my son was at a music audition. This looked like the type of cache that I could find BUT my GPS was having a sleepy Sunday morning. It got me to within 40 metres and then wouldn't help me anymore. I resorted to the clue and a ground search approach and luckily located the cache in 10 minutes. As I was signing the log a large group of ladies came jogging/walking past. It's hard to look like a tree but I think that I must have fooled them as they all just continued on their way.
Thanks for providing me with some fun this morning.
