Cache was rumbled some time ago, and I have not replaced it. Archiving, as I am no longer actively participating in Geocaching since the large scale move to Premium-Only caches around Australia. What was once a free-to-play and welcoming game that was open to all has become too close to an exclusive pay-to-play club, and this makes me sad.
Cache has been disabled since November. Might be time to archive it to let someone else utilise the area.
6/11/16 out this way with Marina25 for the GIFF event and came early enough to grab a couple of caches. Unfortunately, even after the climb up the hill we had no luck. Hopefully just a case of cache blindness and not a Missing cache. TFTH
Sorry all, I've been out of play for a while, and emails about this cache going AWOL don't seem to have reached me. I'll get this replaced as soon as I can.
Hi,
Wondered past this one today, as it's quite near our home. Noticed that contents of cache scattered around GZ and log book missing. Collected contents we could find (no log in sight) and replaced where we originally found it a few weeks back..

I was intrigued by this cache when I read the description after being foiled at another, nearby cache.
I wandered in through the Coles parcel pick up area, it being early on Sunday morning and found a spot just nearby where I could scramble up. Once above the rocky part, I encountered clay which was a bit slippery in the early morning dew. However, once I got past that, I found a nice flat concrete "path" to follow.
The concrete ended about 50m from GZ and I had to scramble through some lantana and spiders but it wasn't too bad. The view was definitely worth it in the end. And the cache was easily found, log signed and then I returned the way I came.

The area around here was a little quieter today than through the week. We looked at gz and thought "really, over there!" We searched for a suitable path to gz and proceeded to cautiously make our way up. Great view from gz. We also spotted a potentially much easier path back to our starting location but decided to go back the way we came. Enjoyed the trek in an unexpected location. TFTC
Parked in the right spot and saw the route up immediately. Quick find at GZ meant more time to admire the excellent view. TFTC
Caching around Kenmore, introducing a friend to the sport. He was surprised to see a cache here - he was sure that there was nothing of interest to bring us to such a location. I tried and soon failed at the terrain-4 approach, before yielding to sanity and taking the normal route. All good here. Very enjoyable TFTC
Found it in about 2 seconds. The cache and the log are in perfect condition. TFTC
Had to do some shopping at Coles today so thought I'd pick this one up whilst I was here. After looking at a couple of approaches, I spied the easiest one and took it.
Great view, TFTC

Set a new box in place. Alas, the logbook doesn't look salvageable. The new logbook is waterproof paper, so hopefully a little longer-lasting (incidentally, fellow cachers, the Daiso Japanese $2.80 store is currently selling a couple of different sizes of water-resistant notepads if you want to stock up).
Cool location. Found this one while walking the dog in the evening, bring a torch if you do this one at night!
Needs maintenance. The container is gone, only the plastic snap lock bag remains, with everything inside. The contents are very wet.

Nice view. Well described for finding. A bit waterlogged when we found it.

Well now this is a cache that I have thought about going for a few times, but whenever I have been at the car park it is has been like peak hour. So today with no one around I checked some options and soon had a way up, not the easiest way but it got me there in the end.
Once near to GZ a little look around and soon had a container in hand. I got my name on the log and replaced and took the much easier way down, but of course no leaping here for me.

TFTC. #445. I found the easy way up and when I spotted the electrical wires I knew I was heading in the right direction. Found neatly tucked away, all safe and dry.
I did a bit of circle work around here before opting for a launch point to tackle this one. I think I chose a good spot in the end. It was a bit of a walk to GZ, but it was pretty easy going.
The view is quite good from here.
A nice quick find for me today.

As we were heading to Kenmore to attend an event, we picked up some caches on the way.
Interesting walk down to GZ, where the cache was found quickly, signed and covered.
Many thanks for placing this cache, chimpa, for us and others to find.

A wander up the track and search around. Remsjw went down low and then discovered he did need to be higher. Luckily he made the trip up as he also made the find!
I was in this area just on dark yesterday, so didnt have time to look for this cache, but I did have time to work out where the best access point may be.
After work today, I bolted out the door and headed directly to the access point I had discovered yesterday. I made my way up the "track" to GZ where I located the cache quickly. On my approach, I had wondered about the condition that the cache may be in, but I shouldnt have worried. The cache is in great condition. I signed the log and returned the cache to its hiding spot before heading back down the "track" to the car

We walked (snuck) to the top of the "trail" and looked, but couldn't find anything!?
A quiet cruise around the streets here soon led me to what could only be a convenient 'path' to the GZ. Jolly decent of you to arrange that chimpa. Up and up I wandered as the GPS ticked down. Good coordinates had me standing in the perfect spot. Cache was a little exposed but all was well. Deed done and returned with a little extra cover. Thanks chimps, nice hide.
A quick grab early in the morning after taking a good look where it posibly good by hiding.
Took a more direct route to the cache, obviously not the Best path to take but a quick park And grab non the less

Noticed this was tagged with a maintenance request, so checked it out this afternoon. Cache is still secure and dry in its location. GPS receivers seem to have a bit of trouble with reflections off the hill, and it may have been worse than normal in the rain. Please try again!
Hello I was trying to find your cache and we searched everywhere and could not find it there has been rain recently and it could have been moved or washed away we where wondering if you could send someone up to check it.
Thanks
Thanks
Sorry for the delay over the long weekend. The cache is now back in place ready for the next finder.
Thanks for the maintenance request. I'll swing by and collect any remaining pieces this afternoon and get it back in place as quickly as I can.
I'm claiming a find as well as posting the maintenance request.
There's no log to sign and I didn't have any paper to put in, sorry.

This one hasn't been found for a while, so we approached it with some uncertainty.
Was about to take the direct route before it was pointed out to me that there was a much better way.
Got to GZ easily and was looking around for likely hiding spots, when geo-husband pointed to the lid of it lying on the ground! I found the bottom half quickly, but no log book.
It is now sitting in plain view nearby, but hopefully where it won't get washed away in any downpours.
It needs a new log book and a better hiding place.

Ran into some fellow hunters so extra eyes to help us out. Think we took the 3 star route, much quicker on the way back up ! Tftc.
Dropped by on my way home from work this afternoon. Found an appropriate access point and made my way up the path. Definitely a different type of approach, I haven't come across anything like that before. Looked in a few different places before a spotted a likely spot and found the cache nicely tucked away. No one in the car park to notice me sign the log and replace the cache. Grabbed the 2 TB's and dropped 2 others. Tftc
Visited one of my favourite cache sites to drop off Suncatcher 2007 Geocoin. I love the view from here.

TFTC nice view of the hills, coords a bit out, but hey, that's life.

The kids seemed eager to try for this one but Dad was not so keen as it seemed a long way down. Dad might sneak off and do it alone sometime
Ain't nothing like a draining climb for a Saturday morning, but well worth it for the view. Closing in GZ I put my hand down, ouch something bit me and then I got the cache, a nice smiley but a now I have a very sore finger. Tftc.

Good to go again!
Picked up the cache for maintenance the other day and was surprised to see a ninja on guard! Took a look at the Log Book and thought it needed to be replaced, but as I flicked through and saw all the great comments I changed my mind. Some careful TLC with a hair dryer and 48 hours to sit and air out, and it's back in working condition with no loss of history.
It's a rather small container, but some kind cachers have left a number of swaps inside (including the aforementioned and very cute ninja). Thanks all!

Couple of finders have recently commented that the log is quite wet. Taking the cache offline for the weekend to check it out. Should have it back up by Sunday night.
I took the 'relatively' easy way to the cache. Found okay, had to duck and dodge some wildlife on the way. The logbook is very soggy. TFTC
Day 11 of the 31 souvenir days of August 2013 and the planned caching adventure for the day involves a few hilly walks from Gap Creek Reserve.
Of course, the unwritten rule that you can't drive past an unfound cache was applied, so I stopped nearby made a few finds nearby. It seemed a pity not to clean up the third nearby cache in the area. I decided not to climb the concrete wall, and instead opted for the drain running up from the street to the west. The log book was a bit wet. These coordinates worked for me today. Thanks for the cache, chimpa

I parked in the nearby cul-de-sac and had a bit of a scout around before I decided which way to tackle this one. It was a fairly easy wander to GZ, then my GPS wanted me to take a leap, but I figured the terrain rating really didn't warrant that It took a bit of searching before I found the cache, as my GPS was a little off. TFTC, chimpa.
After attending the Monster Book Sale at Anglican Parish of Kenmore decided to do some caches in the area. Approached from a side road and managed to get 4 adults up there without too much observation. Completed with GRJH and Geodelcs (from W.A). Sorry we didnt have any replacement logs with us.
Stopped off here on my way to Indooroopilly to grab a few caches. Read the description for this one and wondered what I might be in for. Also started from below as suggested. It was a bit hairy as I really don't like heights, but I made a point of not looking down until I got to GZ. Then I really needed to look at the view because that is what brought me to this place. Pretty speccy. Found the cache pretty quickly, retrieved, signed log and replaced (with camo) then headed back down. Thanks for the cache and the climb chimpa.
Out and about with Net88 and egginthesky for a crazy night time caching raid. We all managed to make it safely to the top of the hill. Once up there the cache was found quickly. Definately a different way to get to GZ. We signed the log and replaced the cache as found.

I was out with Nyssaflutterby and Egginthesky for what seems to be becoming our usual night attack on an unsuspecting territory of unsmiley icons. We all jumped out of spangle and headed up the hill. It was very easy to lose footing and i didn't feel too amazing heading up there with the only thing i could see was the path directly at my feet the things we do for a smiley though. The cache was found quickly and we headed back down. Not even thinking about leaping on the way down Thanks for the cache 2secretseekers
Might need another dry out. Log is wet and there was water on container. I dried it out but log will remain wet. TFTC
I had previously gone to find this cache but with no luck. Went back again, turns outs I was literally sitting on top of it!
Yay! Finally found it! The first i braved the hill it was at night with my ranger troop but we were unsuccessful, great to go back and live to tell the tale!
Nice Hiding spot! Was funny to hear Swellerdaughter had sat right next to it when searching a few days before. Haha!
I have been to this cache before to find it, but due to bad gps signal and nerves I decided not to go too far up the hill and abandoned the search. Today I finally had the chance to come back again and have a proper search for the cache. Straight up to the top I went and very soon the cache was in my hands. There is a stunning view from this area.

It was definitely a very wet weekend. The sun was now out and but the "look before you leap" approach was definitely still recommended.
I found a good approach and soon had the cache in hand without too many troubles.
Thanks for the cache chimpa. Cheers!!

A bit of rain here and it could be the new ride at Kenmore water park lol. I think we took the moderate incline on this one. I was off target when Mr heynicerooter alerted he had found it dammit thats 3 in a row for him signed the log and headed back the same way we came up discussing if we thought anyone would have taken the direct 5 star difficulty route TFTC
Reading the logs was worried that i woudnt be able to get this one but it turned out to be less traumatic than expected but still quite enjoyable to find myself on some more challenging terrain in an urban environment. Good on you for the lateral thinking TFTC
I was worried that actual leaping may be required, and noted an earlier log about nosey neighbors.
Found with Nurseyjulie today and not much physical effort involved. Must look a bit strange to the peeps down below, eh?

No question about it, I was definitely looking in the right spot today. Using a number of different sets of coords, I combed over GZ a number of times with no luck. Reading the logs below I've got a good idea in mind on where it might be, so I will have to wait till next time I'm in the area, might even bring along a few plastic bags for all the rubbish.
Another one found by our 'muggle' elder daughter. Went the bush way up from the car park and stumbled into a rubbish pile. A quick retreat and we found the nicer spot with the great views. GPS not firing well - but the advice to look for the flat spot with the good views did the trick, although the views are now a bit obscured by trees they are slightly higher than the other flat spot. TFTC - lovely view
This was another joint effort by the geo sapiens/ 5Meerkats Joint Venture (GC5MJV). We spent almost an hour looking for this one using various coordinates - the original and ones from logs.
In the end, I resorted to a PAF. Teamtinda was only too happy to help. No sooner had I hung up the phone Mr geo sapiens found it. A very tidy hide.
Cache and log are good condition. TFTC, chimpa

Out and about tonight with 5meerkats to tick this one of the map. We have been past a few times lately but have had the Geo kids onboard. Looking for another cache for the day when Mr meerkats sent through txt for a night time raid. The invite accepted we were soon on our way.
We chose the easy access option via the cul-de-sac rather than the wall of death from the carpark below. We were soon hunting for the beast. With GPS jumping around a bit and a longer than anticipated search I headed back from the high side to Mr Meerkat on the PAF to Team Tinda. After getting the good oil we quickly had the cache, (not sure the PAF was needed though).
We quickly signed the log and replaced the cache to the hide.

Out and about today, so stopped in to get this one.
After getting to the top I walked past the fence and soon had the neighbour telling me I was on private property and I headed off.
I spotted the cache on the way out , signed and descended straight down
The neighbour could not see me grab the log, or descend down the wall but did watch me walk across the carpark below.

I've slowly been working my way through this area after long days at work and the description for this one screamed too much effort required for what I ever had. Today I bit the bullet and told Dakota to take me there. Luckily she directed me to the nearest street and the easy route up was obvious. Steep all the same, but if one took the wrong path up I can see this would be a 4.5 star terrain. Arrived at the spot with the best views and started to look around, being ever careful of my footing. Soon spotted the cache tucked tidily away. as I signed the log I took the time to take in the view, and it is surprisingly good from here. Also nice to watch muggles going about their lives down below. A lovely little walk and an interesting spot for a cache. Glad I finally did it. I have added the co-ords my GPS was telling me at GZ if it helps anyone at all. TFTC.
