Found the rock and several loose rocks which I reckon could once have hidden the cache, now loose on the ground.
Could you check it please?

Totally full of water. Only pencil and remains of logbook/paper pulp inside.
Yorkshirekiwi83 and I were heading back to Auckland from Coromandel and stopped to find as many caches as we could along our way. After a short detour to the Sugar Loaf, the cache was quickly found. TFTC!

Road Trip around the Coromandel with a Friend...grabbing a few caches as I go. Busy spot - came for a nosy, and then stopped on the way out to come grab this one. TFTC
Out and about with FMZ and slieschke this evening after claiming joint FTFs on the first 10 of the newly published "There and Back" series along the Tapu Coroglen Road.
We decided we'd continue to Coroglen and out to Whitianga, over the hill to Coromandel, back down the coast to Thames and back across the Hauraki Plains to Auckland in time for work Friday morning...
We arrived at GZ just after midnight and we were happy to get out for a leg stretcher. A nice quick find here and a nice spot, will have to come back here during the day next time im over this way, TFTC!

Driven past here, on the main road, many times and tonight was the night to stop and make the find with slieschke and mike-miss. Nice spot. TFTC!!!
Found last month when out with friends. I didn't realise you could get a ferry to Auckland from near here.
We've just finished the Pony Express (it took three trips) and thought we'd detour to here before heading back to our campsite at Long Bay.
This area is very familiar to Steed as he launched his boat here, years ago, but it was my first visit. A really interesting area, with wonderful views and plenty of activity to watch.
Spotted the cache on approach as it was just out in the open, so rehid it a bit better. Left a Mega flag that we picked up at the Kauris, we already have one.

Awesome quick find in a lovely spot, took my brother for the first time, he might be hooked
Fresh off the ferry from Waiheke, this was my first cache on Coromandel. Off to cycle around the top of the Peninsula. Tftc
Staying in Te Kouma for a couple of days, so wandered down here to make the find. Watched a mussel boat unload over a million mussels (filled two truck and trailer units with over 40 huge bales of mussels). Also did the quick climb to the great view on the top and trashed out some New Year's fireworks and bottles. Thanks for the cache.
A quick easy find up a slippery bank, but with the near gale force winds there was no way we were going to the top. Stunning rainbow over the boats in the harbour.

After watching them load huge bags of mussels into trucks, we went and ate mussels for lunch up the road.
Good hide, and the hint really helped. Climbed up the hill for the view too. TFTC!

Fascinating watching the fishermen unload ALL THOSE MUSSELS! Thanks for bringing us here!
Timed my find in between the showers while I was waiting for the charter boat to arrive. No troubles with the find and I managed not to get wet also. TFTC
A great hiding spot and then a nice climb to the top of the hill for some awesome picture taking.
Another weekend... Another mission... Gap (of Fap and Gap) and I are working on several challenges right now. Who needs sleep anyway... (It's overrated). By the end of today, we will record our longest caching day to date (21 hours); complete a circuit of Coromandel Peninsula; find lots of caches; cover a huge number of kilometers; and race against the heavy rain forecasted for the region...
The rain fell heavily as we drove out to this cache. By the time we reached ground zone, the earth beneath our feet was waterlogged and muddy. Fortunately, Gap made the scramble to the cache. Whatever scenery was out there was lost on us. It was too dark and wet for us to care. Funnily enough, that didn't seem to bother some boaties in the bay this evening. I could hear them talking quite vividly.. TFTC.

On another road trip with Squirrel Nutcase to collect the 309 trail so thought we should pick up a few more caches as we passed. Started our adventure at 6am Saturdayy and back home 3am Sunday with 91 caches in hand. Best ever day caching or should I say day and a bit.
8.55pm - Slight detour on homeward trip, found in pouring rain but cache OKay. SLTFTC

At an event I mentioned that I would like to find around 150 ~geocaches during the weekend to be able to award my 5000 find to a special geocache in the states. YuGeo4 & yorkshirekiwi83 were more than happy to help me out overachieving this goal on Saturday. We met up early morning at 5:30am and started driving in the direction of Thames to tackle the Pony Express Power trail. We continued our drive to Waihi via Whangamata back to Auckland collecting drive by geocaches. Thanks YuGeo4 & yorkshirekiwi83 for an awesome day out geocaching!!
Quick off road geocache to collect. yorkshirekiwi83 accomplished the climbing duties for us... TFTC

YeoGeo4, Alpenmilch80 and I met to head to the Coromandel and then Whangamata to hit as many caches as possible, in a fun filled day with great company we far exceeded our expectations of how many we would find.
A80 and I headed up the pak and quickly found the cache at GZ, it was a little slippy at the site. Thanks for the cache and the lovely spot.

What a cute spot. So this is where hubby goes when he goes fishing on the mussel barges. T4T$
Oh no, a muggle acting suspiciously[?]. Ah, it's a fellow cacher [^]. No TB in here and it hasn't been for some time. Loved the climbing aid though; SL, TFTC
Returned to this cache with my nephew recently and couldn't find the cache. I live nearby so i replaced the cache with new plastic container, booklet and treats -hope this is acceptable, didn't want others to be disappointed.

Had a good look around but no luck with this one. Used the handy black rope to haul myself up higher but no luck. Not many people around here today except the mussel boats coming in with their haul.

Boat load of fishing muggles arrived at wharf as we arrived at GZ but they were more interested in grabbing their catch while we were interested in grabbing our cache. Quickly signed log and replaced then watched the barge unloading 10's of thousands of dollars worth of mussels. Business is good. Thanks taranui.
No. 5 find on a 5 day trip round the Mandel with Bjarni1 and Luckybum6000(The dog).
Very busy today but made a quick find and watched the goings on at the boat ramp for a while. Lovely spot.

We went back and dropped of a travel bug (fisherman Dave) as we drove home from our Bach. I'm really excited to see where he ends up and to hear all the great story's and to see the cool photos of you're journey's. TFTC again.
Stop looking I found it !!!! Our first cache by ourselves without our expert guide !!! Nice and straight forward.
Awesome place to hide a cache this was the first time doing a cache without our expert friend so it was a nice easy one to do. we will go for a stroll around town one day this week (since we are not local) and get some food from the bakers and take it there as it is the perfect place for a picnic. TFTC
quick grab on our first day of a Mrs Dragon Mini break and a busy little place to call into

We couldn't resist driving around to have a look at this spot. Some noisy drunk fishermen were unloading below but didn't pay us any attention. We were running out of light so resisted the temptation to climb to the top although in hindsight we should have as it wouldn't have taken very long. TFTC.
This place was on our list with the intention to have a picnic there. Unfortunately, the weather was too bad, so that we only were able to find a cache here. Luckily, there was one.
Thanks!
Thanks!

This has been on our list of 'meaning to do' caches. not sure why we haven't got to it earlier but today appears to have been the day we were meant to find it. TFTC

I was a bit too keen to climb up first, probably to avoid muggles. Should have paid more attention to the difficulty rating. T4TC - M@
Found cache nice and conveniently, exactly what I was hoping for as I didn't have my gps on this run and I need to offload some trackables. Dropped two "LARRY" the lion cub and RSA 2012, hope they continue their journey wonderfully now. Liked the long drop toilet close by... its been a while since I've seen that. Cash was reasonably dry and there was some rubber animals and some shells in there. Grass was nicely mowed and the sea was as flat as a mirror. Thank you for your cache as it was exactly what I needed where I needed it.
Our first find for the day while visiting Coromandel for the weekend. Great clue. TFTC
Wharf was busy with mussel boats and a digger/lorry in the little harbour but they were all too busy, hopefully, to notice us!

Easy find in a fascinating area. So much going on that we sat & watched for about 2 hrs. Cache in good condition. Swapped TB jeeps Kathy came with us and found her first cache. TFTC
Nice easy find and a beautiful spot, apprised it doesn't get more visits... Place was deserted today, everyone must have been out on the water. Tnln tftc. Centuryson from Australia.
Heaps of cars in car park and along road. Assume all gone fishing.
Nice quick find and I couldn't resist going up to the top to see what was there and check out the view. Cheers

Lovely spot but needed some very creative parking today to get anywhere close. Tripped on a tree root getting back down the hill , 1 1/2 forward rolls later dusted myself off and headed back to the car.

What a lovely location! We were in two minds about continuing around this way, thinking we might use the time for something other than caching but we were really glad we changed our minds. This was such a pleasant little reserve with nice views, and like every park or reserve we have seen across the peninsula it is so neat and tidy. So we made an easy find, and liked it so much I left one of our 25th anniversary path tags for a future finder if they want it. Thanks taranui.
Called in to pick up the cache on the way to launching the boat at Wyuna. Put it in the water here instead, which was a really good decision. TFTC
Fascinating place, watched the loading of mussels on to trucks. Sheltered spot. Thanks for bringing us here.
Lovely day geocaching today, great weather a many exciting caches to find. Short search soon located the cache. SL TFTC
Found this one on my trip through the north island. Visited some great places and saw heaps of cool stuff. Thanks for showing me around and thanks for the cache.
