Had a look around but couldn't find.......kids had fun climbing all over the buoy though.
Geo Wife and I attended the "7th Annual Illawarra Get-together & 100" on a slightly overcast morning however the day developed into a most pleasant caching adventure.
Collected this cache on the way home. Log is a bit damp.

We found the cache just sitting the ground out in the open. I took a wild guess as to where it was supposed to be and use the clue to improvise. The log is also soaking wet.

Being an ex sailor I realy appreciated this cache. I got to it before the Newberys for a change. TFTC TNLN.
The WEEO grabbed this one while I was still looking. No sign of the trackable in the cache. Cool lite park near the court house. TFTC

Found by geoson using our new gpsmap62s
The lid was not closed so the cache was wet.

Our second cache of the night. Rather shamefully I went about trying to de-cypher the clue until MRS Red_V pointed out the obvious answer. Duh. Anyway found the cache and dropped a TB.
Nice quick find.. Not sure what the clue meant but we found the cache anyways.. TFTC

After a hamburger at the beach (which really isn't ham) moved onto this one. Soon uncovered it. TFTC.
Reperio at 0955.
The memories of the previous cache came back to me as soon as I arrived at GZ, but it was good to see this one wasn't quite in the same spot. GZ was spot on, so it made for a short search. It was nice revisiting this spot.

Strange little park. Some people over the road looking very uncomfortable in their best clothes! While I sat casually eating my subway next to GZ, a coffee van pulled up, honked its musical horn, served about 5 people and roared off before I'd made up my mind whether to get one or not. Quick find, TFTC!
Quick find on our way back to Wollongong. Swapped a pirate coin with something nice for geo kids.
Nice easy find after a couple of dnf`s nearby. No muggles or police around on this sunny sunday.

This was a quick find today in the rain - not many people about. Cache in good condition.

Done pretty swiftly, nice little park: McPhan, SolDelune and Fitzy_1965 sure to pass this area another 3 or 4 times this weekend on a blitz of the area.
Thanks Hoojar for another beaut.

4165 + 231 = 4396. The next find in Wollongong for "McFitzdeLune7" - McPhan, Myself, Sol de Lune and ZsaZsa7.
I had DNF'd this one in its last location so I was really happy to walk right up and make the find this time around - Thanks again Hoojar !

One of the quickest for the weekend so far. Followed the GSP and soon had the cache in hand. Log was signed, cache replaced and we were on our way....
Thanks again Hoojar.....

5042. [font=Century Gothic][green]Well if I'd looked where Fitzy looked I would have missed the cache completely, so I'm glad about that. He made a super quick find as it was getting near the time that we had to get him on his way back to the 'Berra.

We found this one on our way to the 11-11-11 event. A quick find and yes this place could be busy during the day, thanks.
Intended to use Triton 2000 but forgot to bring it! (Guess our newness is showing) old faithful magellan 310 accuracy not up to the task. Ended up using Garmin Nuvi in pedestrian mode. Didn't take anything but left something anyway.

When I was here some time ago doing a DNF, the cache must have been placed somewhere else, as I found it today well away from my old search area. Thanks fluffyfish.
Second attempt at this one.Followed the arrow on GPS and went straight to it. I wonder how I missed the first time? TFTC Gotcha16
A much more straight forward find here than the last few. The displays were fun. Thanks.

Third attempt at this one, first time it had been muggled, next time no luck, but pulled up to-day to find that a fellow cacher from Canberra had beat us to it, but found it anyway. TFTC
Geomum got this one finally. No blue muggles around as it was a sunday arvo. TFTC
Found and replaced just seconds before a whole bunch of people emerged from the court house across the street. Pheww...could have been me that ended up in there if caught! TNLN SL TFTC
Been here so many times and the gizmo put me in the wrong spot every time. Today found in less tha a minute. Go figure.

TFTC. Didn't realise those things were so big...bit of a pattern forming in the gong...BIG things all over the place.
Left gold pirate coin.
Left gold pirate coin.
Dark night, dodgie GPSr and two groups of muggles heading to the local pub what more could a cacher ask for... after searching around I reverted to the iphone and took alook at the satelite map and quickly found the hide.
We are spending Easter with family in Dapto, so we headed out to do some caching at Port Kembla. Marco's father used to work not far from here, so we had a quick trip down memory lane before stopping to look for the cache. Thanks to the hint we soon had the cache in hand. We dropped off the Southern Cross GC and signed the log. TFTC
Co-ords and clue made for an easy find. Retrieval and signing bit trickier with constant stream of weekday traffic. Could have been worse, at least the building across the road (next to the boys in blue) was quiet today.
Hey this is a nice little bit of history sitting here.
nice easy find in an interesting place

The objects here and history say place cache here really like this one and beat LSL just by a hand length to the find as well thanks for bringing us here fluffyfish.....
Easy to search in the late afternoon. Quick find. Checked out the items in the reserve. Very interesting history. SL TFTC
Quick stop to find this. Wonder what the bus driver in the idling bus that also had stopped there was thinking?
Interesting about history. Thanks for bring me to be there. No swap. Signed the log. Thanks fluffyfish.
first finder of the new container, (not that it counts for anything). The clue helped as I was again enroute from one work location to the next on a 4 day work trip down through the area. Sadly not enough time to find many caches on the trip, as there is little energy left after a 12-hour work day in the sun.
Nice spot, and no "trouble" from muggle or the bluies across the road.
I did not have my swap kit so could not add any traables, but I did grab the pathtag for my meagre collection of about 6.

Port Kembla Marine Park was transferred from TEAM CASHO to user fluffyfish.
Thanks for Team Casho putting this one up for adoption. This was my first ever FTF. You can read my log to see the story. I have a number of caches in the area and am happy to keep this one going.

Couldn't find this one, but did find the log blowing around at the fence, so I suspect that this has been muggled. The part of the log that I guess had been signed had been ripped out. Not one of our better days.
Quick one after a boat tour off Port Kembla boat ramp. Nice tour around all Five Islands. Very rough conditions. Hundreds, if not thousands of seals sighted in the passage between Big Island and Martin Islet.
A find whilst out on a caching run with Black Bunny and Just a Cacher.
Thanks for the cache! Sorry it's taken so long to log this.

Out for a very long caching day with Candy Cane 101 and Black Bunny. Black Bunny was feeling in need of caching run, so Candy Cane 101 and I agreed, just to make him happy, of course! We started around Bowral, and quit at dusk somewhere around Wollongong. It WAS going to be a two day adventure, but we couldn't find anywhere to stay. We then bought chicken and chips, ate it in the dark in a park, and then drove back to Canberra, arriving well after midnight. A long, long day, but Black Bunny went to bed with a smile on his face.

Out on a run to pick up a few caches with Just a Cacher and Candy Cane 101. Our minds were a little slow but the clue made sense in the end. A quick grab when the penny dropped. SL TFTC
Toedmiester7 and I came for a second attempt and found it I retrieved the cache and climbed a tree at GZ
