As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Have checked cache and many of the reflectors are missing or the reflector bits have come off the pins. Have ordered more reflectors but they may take a few weeks to arrive so until then have temporarily taken cache offline.
Hi Polliwogs,
Was hoping you could check and confirm that the markers and cache survived the burn that occured here a few months back.
Cheers Bruce's Run

We've been waiting a while to find a night to do this and tonight was the night. We made our way to the first waypoint and pointed our dolphin torch in a general easterly direction. Alas nothing caught our eye. We moved a little left and then a little to the right, still nothing. We moved a lot to the right and a lot to the left. Still nothing.
Will try with a different type of torch another time.

The land management agency that looks after this land is going to do a hazaed reduction burn onsite this coming Sunday (3rd April 2011). Thought you might want to rescue the cache and return it after the burn.
Hi Racing Fans...
Are the days getting shorter? It's time for some night caching! Inside this cache you will find a racer from Victoria BC. It's name is Jumping Jack Flash and it's missing out on the fun and adventure of travel via the race. Get out there for this night cache and pick up the TB and Jumping Jack Flash and help move it on. Don't forget to take a picture too! Happy Night Caching.

Finally got around to taking the geokids out to do this cache. A few of the firetacks were hard to find, and I'm sure we didn't do them in the intended order... We came to a complete halt at one stage, but after walking in a 50m arc, we spotted the GZ tacks! Found one firetack on the ground near a tree with another tack in it (it's in the cache now), and GZ is down to 4 tacks, not 5. Overall a lovely walk in the night. Did you know that certain breeds of moth have eyes which reflect light just like a firetack - very confusing?? Geokids swapped toys, and we took the TB, and left a Canadian Racing TB, and one of our new pathtags. TFTC!
Reperio at 2045. Hadn't originally intended on doing this one tonight, but since I was literally passing by, thought I'd give it a go. The first couple of markers were found without a problem...but from there, things got a little wayward. Ended up having to walk a hundred meters or so in various directions hoping to spot a marker somewhere, but after 20 minutes or so, I had pretty much given up. Keep an eye out on the way back, and suddenly the torch light picked up a flash from one of the markers. With renewed faith, I wandered about trying to find the next marker when again, a flash just in through the trees soon had me at my destination.
Great spot for a night cache, but finding the markers took a little more work than necessary.
Gratias.

Found together with TeamPPSS after a walk that led us around in circles for a while. Reconstructed the route on the way back from GZ and realised that with the powerful firefighters torch (for piercing smoke etc) we were seeing firetacks that weren't expected to be seen from the current location. As a result our approach to almost every tree was unorthodox. Cache located in the end. Took pathtags and placed Erika's Outback Explorer GC in. Also dipped 2009 Victoria Bushfires Geocoin for a visit. TFTC
Went out to get this last night with Aussipuschaks but was turned off by the warning sign talking about rabbit and fox shooting that very evening . We were not too keen to come back full of lead so had another go tonight between thunderstorms. We found the trail a bit difficult as we believe we went slightly out of order as we maybe saw some firetacks in the distance that were not meant to be seen. Putting that aside we found the cache and enjoyed the challenge. Picked up Micro Rose Geocoin. TFTC. Found at 1115 pm
Will have to come back for this one I think. Dead cachers don't get to complete their logs!
Did this one back on the 3/10 with allrounder and a bunch of bodies she had introduced to the sport during her football season...
needless to say it proved amusing, particularly when one of the new cachers has an aversion to roos that go bump in the night.
The trail was almost disappointingly short.. I was all set for a major adventure in the drizzle of the evening...
TFTC, always fun to do a night cache!

My apologies for the late log - I'd forgotten to pay my geocaching secretary and she went on strike!
As noted, we were expecting a longer walk for this one but fun was had all the same.

Found @ 8:41pm with Fore!, Shadow!, Pumba5, Dayze and TamBam
We were expecting a much longer walk to find this one but we had great fun on the way anyway. It was a good introduction to a night cache for some relatively new cachers. By the way, TamBam's the one if you need protection from crazy kangaroos (or is that kangawallafoxes?)!!
Took/left nothing, dropped off "Micro Compass Rose" GC, TFTC!!!

When we first discovered geocaching, the Kangawallafox was what got us really excited about it and it was the one that we wanted to find the most.
With geokid (kaloufoloi) visiting for school hols and getting into caching herself, we thought this the perfect time to hunt down the elusive carnivore. Lucky she was there because she spotted every waypoint before either of us did!
This was the most enjoyable cache yet!
We think we may have done the last two waypoints out of order but it didn't matter in the end. Also, the second-last Kangawallafox (we think second-last anyway) is missing an eye. Searched around for it but couldn't find it - sorry.
TNLNSL - thanks for this most enjoyable hunting trip!

I have to admit I'm a little bit scared of the dark.
This was my first find and I was so excited to find it!!!
It was a full moon and Zita&Enzo were with me, we found the waypoint and started looking for the eyes of the mysterious Kangawallafox. And there it was! I was so glad it didnt run away as soon as we found them. A little circling was done until we figured out the order of eyes. It was one of the best nights I have ever had and the thrill of the hunt was outta sight!
A little note for Polliwogs: your Kangawallafox before the X is missing an eye. I hope he/she can be repaired soon!!

With the kids at my parents for the night what else was there for us to do but a night cache! After looping back on our selves we started laying bread crumbs at the base of reflectors we'd visited and final found the cache. It was fun night out. TFTC!
This was our first night cache and had fun. Took the kids and they survived the Kangawallafox. Took geocoin and left a yowie.
Found at 1945. Very cool for my first Night cahce. Obviously didn't miss champers71 by too much! Dropped in "Cache Bandit" GC, took "Caching Hazards" GC and "Spiderman" TB. Visited our "Astronomy" GC. Thanks for the night trip!
Visited with The Emongs who were visiting for weekend. Cache all good and dropped off few trackables.
with cache owners to hold my hand I bravely set out to do this, my 1st night time cache. found cache and left torch key ring and signed log headed back to geo car to get first aid kit for bites from STROPPY old kangawallafox. TFTC and your assistance.
Woo Hoo.....always fun doing a night only cache.
Full moon, last day of the month, Kangawallafoxes........what more could you ask for.
Started around 6.15pm and it was certainly dark. Fitzy had the bright torch that picked up the first trail and we just followed it from there. GZ was found after a cool walk around the area.
Thanks Polliwogs for a fun cache. Left 2 x TB's.

2320 - It was a dark and stormy night.....
Well no not really - it was dark yes but fine - lots of stars starting to show themselves....
Sol and I elected to do this night cache to round off the day and month. Picked up the first glow in the distance then followed the yellow-ish brick (fire-tack) road to GZ - what great fun !! Really enjoyed doing this cache. Its about the 3rd or 4th purpose night cache I've done and they really are worth doing !!
And yes the Kangawallafoxes were out there watching us - heard but not seen - but they were there - trust me.....
Survived to sign the log, drop a Coin and a TB, then made our way back to the cars - thanks very much guys - a great all round caching experience !!!
Left Spiderman TB and richlink Geocoin - TFTC !!
Cheers....

Excellent night ever I had... Best starfire so bright - maybe my torch is best ha... The weather is prefect not cold... No swap SL. Big Thanks and clap for excellent job... Again Thanks Polliwogs
Just logging in one of our new geocoins before sending him off to the megaevent in Wagga
That had to be one of the best caches we have done as a family. The kids enjoyed (a little scared though) but we had a ball. Made camo a little better as it was a bit exposed. Geo kids did swaps and week took TB.
TFTC!
Please give us some more night ones like that.

The Kangawallafox was out in force tonight with crashing and bashing heard in the distance. Following the yellow eyed road led us to GZ for a quick cache find. SL TNLN
Got a txt from jusojara saying hey you done that new night cache out in the north yet? After a few more texts we decided to go out and get it. So got to waypoint 1 and made a quick find. With my little torch!
Then ja took over and found the rest with his more powerful torch. Was expecting a longer walk, but was great fun. Enjoy this type of cache Thanks for the fun and the cache.

I was changing the batteries on the Maglite this afternoon and remembered this newish cache so I sent mr_roo a message to see if he was up for it (as if I didn't already know the answer)
Once it was dark we were away and mr-roo found the first WP after the starting coords with his torch and a we were off. After a short stroll with easily visible WP's we came to GZ. I commented to mr_roo that I could have gone on for a while further up the hill.
L TB T GC (that mr-roo dropped in) but we did not find the other 2 TB's that are listed in this cache.
Visited Ra's Gecko - SL TFTC

Found with the Reluctant Companion on our trip to Albany for the Ulysses AGM. Wow! My first night cache - accompanied by Geoson SS_bjc we went off into the wilderness flashing torches in search of clues!! North Qld. was never like this! Enjoyed the hunt, the wildlife, the company and especially the Smiley!! TNLN. TFTC.
Must add that the pen is missing from the cache and I left mine in the car - but rather than not sign the log used a stick with charcoal from the tree. It is readable!!!

That was fun - in the dark - in the rain! Took an optomitrists torch, left something else!
Well - there we were, about to watch a movie after dinner when Tankengine suggests we all go out in the dark, in the RAIN! - Oh well, why not! So 5 of us disappeared into the wet darkness! But we re-emerged! Triumphant!
Well - it didn't sound like a good idea to me! But all the others were going, so off I went! Not too hard in the end. Was interesting juggling the umbrellas and the torches! But it was fun. - My first night cache!
Well – I just figured out how to make a night cache a whole lot harder! Do it in the rain! It’s not only the rain, umbrellas and slippery ground that makes it harder, but EVERY TREE had shiny bits where water droplets were reflecting out lights! At first I thought we were surrounded by Kangawallafoxs! Then the realisation that maybe it’s not so go to do this in the wet! But eventually we started to distinguish the difference between reflections from water, vs reflections from Kangawallafox’s eyes!
Although I also think that the reflectors did not perform as well in the wet! Certainly we were stuck a couple of times! (What with all the false reflections!). On some occasions I told the party to stay behind, whilst I forge ahead – searching! (We didn’t want to loose the last tree).
In the end, it was all good! Found the cache - great fun. Thanks Polliwogs!

Found along with rubai and JezzzaXtreme.
I reallly liked this cache, it was a good bit of fun and a chance to test out my new torch.
It was pretty much pitch dark as we arrived so it was great conditions for it. We walked in to the area but soon realised we had probably overshot the starting point. Fortunately we spotted a point from where we were at the time so we moved on from there.
Wandering through the scrub in a sort of eerie silence we moved along, spotting and approaching each point. After some time, bingo, came up with the goods. Swapped TBs.
Thanks for a great cache!

#360: Found with linFox and JezzzaXtreme. It was a good thing the other two were with me today as I had trouble spotting several of the markers even after they were pointing it out for me. We spotted several wallabies on the way to GZ.
Found with Rubai and linFox
By the time we arrived it was well and truly pitch black darkness. Heading off fromm the car we overshot the start by a bit but managed to spot a point through the trees from where we were standing. Having a lot of torches was certainly handy. I hung mine from a long stick so we could se where we were putting our feet while the others pointed ahead and searched for the next spot. Found the cache alright. That was a good fun night cache
Thanks, Jezzza Xtreme.

Probably better we waited till full sundown, but the lure of a cache had us searching in the dusk for WP1.
After a bit of patience something reflected back from a distance and we were on our way!
As stated in Winglen's log, not sure if we infact missed one of the waypoints. Any ho still found a means to an end.
My first night cache spotting these thingies, noting the angle of your torch and where you faced made a huge difference. I found the WP's more visible with my torch held above my head. That could be just cause of my height, but helped anyway.
Thanks for the cache, one that loads of people and children will enjoy.

Oh I do love a night cache, and this was very nicely done. McPhan, Zsazsa7 and Winglen arrived before dark and got to enjoy this bushland as the light faded. It's really pretty through here in the soft light of evening, and with evening birds calls ringing around it was just lovely. We located the first tree before it was dark, and then had a bit more of a challenge with the next point until the light disappeared. We're fairly sure we must have missed one WP because the next we found was simply not visible until we went further uphill. Anyway, a lot of fun in our small group and a great end to our relaxed afternoon out around this side of town. Thanks Polliwogs!
2839. [font=Comic Sans Ms][maroon]Ah safety in numbers. We didn't see any Kangawallafoxes, but I'm pretty sure there were a few chiwollagongs skirting around the edge of the party. Mind you it was difficult walking around using a torch in one hand and a GPs in the other, while holding a knife on top of your head (to protect against drop bears) in the other . Very well done although we may have missed one of the WPs. In the end a lot of fun and a very fitting cache to round out an afternoon/evening caching with Winglen and Zsazsa7. Now time to head back home for the customary pink champagne to celebrate the Winglen 3000th GC today - well done folks.

With that many cachers all at once, it is no wonder the kangawallafoxes didnt get you. Safety in numbers! They may be vicious but their not stupid! Glad you all had so much fun.
What a great night out (well....nearly night-time). It was good to get out there with so many enthusiastic fellow cachers. This area is certainly well suited to this type of activity. Loved it, and the joint FTF too!
1789+92=1881 shared *ftf* with Captain Tomato and other caching teams

Seven teams ftf finished before last light at 8:30pm. Great to meet all the other teams and have a laugh.TFTC
Found with 14 others. Luckily spotted the first waypoint still in the light with the torch. Thanks for bringing all us crazy cachers together we all had to wait until it was just a little darker.
FTF - with lots of additional help
We knew this one was coming and had a quick look online tonight to see that it was live. We decided to rush out and give it a try and we even decided that walking the 700m from home to the first co-ordinate was just to far.
Got to the parking to find 6 other cars and it wasn't even dark yet. Joined the mob and proceeded to search for the weymarkers. In the dusk light we worked together to find them.
JJ got to the spot and found the cache first by fractions of seconds - useful to have a child along.
Really enjoyed meeting everyone at this informal event cache.
Looking forward to seeing the photos from others.

Massive joint *FTF* effort here... Arrived on site at 7.40pm to find CT and SS already looking for the first WP. Others arrived and eventually was dark enough to find them.

Well, that was fun, night caching in the light with 14 or so (8 teams?) other cachers. A Joint *FTF* too - fun. I think we all managed to find a reflector, the fun part was the order we found them, 1,2,4,3,5 and then on to the rest in order.
Finished with still plenty of light & MOSQUITOS, but fortunately, I still had my Queensland caching backpack, and with Aeroguard in it!
Thanks everyone for the fun together, and thanks for yet anothger night cache too.
(Joint FTF with growingupisoptional, lost property, Jemalong & Family, SamWalkers, O319, SecretSquirrel-BJC, Captain Tomato & mtbikeroz - FUN!)

Here we go again, need to check if Tankengine is coming, if so no need to bring torch
