What a great spot along the road to stop. With the current weather there is a nice waterfall trickling down the rock face. Cache was quickly found and we both discussed the tenacity of the tree above. Definitely a favourite point for this one. Tftc
Today we decided to drive the Grand Ridge rd as previously we had only driven part of it. Collecting caches along the way, definitely had to use the hint as my GPS was showing GZ about 50m away!
The little creek here was running with a little waterfall after the recent rains, very nice.
Cache was in good condition and dry

Nice little spot for a cache not so much for a picnic anymore unless you bring your own table and chairs TFTC
A grand picnic... and a little googling before told C1 that this would be a good stop for lunch, a picnic table attribute and a place to pull over the car.......
WELL! The picnic table could not really support a lunch box and the chairs certainly not a bottom! They were moss covered and very damp.... and barley standing.....
I guess we better look for the cache..... a quick find nearby and plenty of swaps in a great sized and dry cache was great for the geokids....
Back at the car and the leeches were spotted all over the kids and C1, J1 escaped however was still wondering about feeding the kids in the now leech covered parking area with a useless table and soggy chairs!

We found your cache while exploring the area, a fine day, excellent scenery, a great day out.
This was tricky to find, but after reading the logs we suceeded with the find! Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

When we pulled up here, there was a car with occupant already parked. Another cacher? we wondered. While we waited to see what they were up to I re-read the hint and tried to decide what part of the cliff was being referred to. Then, just as I was about to start searching, the other car left, following a third which had appeared on the road. Not geocachers then. They must have been waiting for friends.
Tuns out I'd picked the correct section of cliff to start my search but forgotten my pen so I had to climb up to GZ twice but a nice little adventure
Thanks for find #1587

Well I didn't think I'd be able to get here in a small 2 wheel drive. I hunted for 2 caches on the way but the roads got to steep for my little beast to do a return trip so I gave up 2km away.
This cache allows one to follow the ridges most of the way. There are some wicked views and some where logging has scarred the mountainside. What we do to our environment. So sad.
The cache was easily found if you stand back and look using the hint. My compass took me to the opposite side so I didn't bother using it. Cache was in good condition. Tftc

Bit of a wet weekend , ducked out of the house to find some more caches , have stopped here plenty of time before but never knew about geocaching , found this one as per the hint , while lifting out the cache container I heard something falling from above and got covered in dirt and small rocks, used the container to protect my head , signed the log , brushed the dirt of my clothes , part of the adventures of geocaching , thanks for the cache
Hubby's Birthday and we are out for a drive in the bush to find some stalking ground, this was a beautiful little spot, the roads were very muddy and slippery today LOTS of log trucks
TFTC we look forward to visiting this spot in warmer weather!

My GPS’er pushed me near the water coming off the cliff. Lucky. I had another set of eyes that quickly had the cache n hand. Keep right! A great location and an excellent cache. I picked up the donut TB. TFTC
Tftc malikal. I've driven up from the Budgeree Rd today nabbing sixty2sue's caches. This charming though prickly picnic spot was after about 40 mins without a single oncoming car. I was just thinking maybe I could get an hour without one when around the corner a little white Mazda perhaps another intrepid cacher? Didn't sign off this one though. Cheers.
I stopped here and had a cup of coffee on the picnic table; a very scenic location. With the GPS accuracy here I would have had little chance without the clue, but with the clue I found it in a couple of minutes. Thanks for the cache.
Out for a day of caching and sightseeing with Biggles of Oz and Mrs Biggles. This was the eighth find of 16 for the day. While Biggles of Oz and Mrs Biggles had recently found this cache they still stopped so we could search for it. Mrs Pooky headed off following the GPS and Biggles of Oz piped up "read the hint". After reading the hint and given some more encouragement from Biggles of Oz we were heading in the right direction and Mr Pooky eventually made the find. One we probably wouldn't have found without help from Biggles of Oz as the GPS was not taking us anywhere near the cache. TFTC and bringing us to this area. TNLN.
Day trip Melb/Trafalgar/Thorpdale/Yinnar/Jumbuk/TarraBulgaNP/JackSmithLake/WoodsideBeach/McLaughlinsBeach/Melb.
A slight side trip from Binns Junction to look for this one. We were certainly glad for the hint with helping to find this cache because the GPS was directing us to some 20m beyond the waterfall which would put the GZ way above the waterfall and there was no chance I was going to try to get up there! Anyway with the clue and a short search we soon had the cache in hand.

We wouldn't have found this one if not for the hint, our GPS was miles out, a pretty spot for a cache.

On a wiggly return route from Yarram, Kato Potato and I decided to pull over here for a break from the rattling dirt road and supreme concentration for all the windy turns. We headed straight for gz and the spot on coords and hint were perfect to find an awesome cache. Love this. TFTC malikaal and for bringing us to this cool spot.
Out on a road trip with Mummy Short Legs with the aim of finding a few unloved caches (and any other ones we happened across). this was a much appreciated stop after a lot of winding slippery driving in fog and near darkness despite the early hour. What a beautiful looming figure was cast by this amazing tree. Mummy Short Legs laid her hands on this one fairly quickly and had it signed and away. Off again onto the bumpy winding roads for the next one. Thanks malikaal!
Found after checking the hint as gps had it 26 meters towards the waterfall. Cache dry and in good order. Watch out for nettles.
What a cool cache. I drove past this one on the way to my own cache (Valley View) a while back and thought "what a perfect spot for a cache!". I didn't have reception at the time and as such the geocaching app didn't work. It wasn't until later that I realised there actually was a cache there! Never mind, it was on the list to do next time and that happened to be today. Looked in the wrong spot first, following the GPS a little too much. Forget the GPS and follow your geosenses. There is a worn path to the cache, it's where you'd think it should be
Thanks for putting a cache here, such a beautiful, sheltered little spot!

An afternoon adventure in the Strzeleckis landed me at this beautiful picnic spot. Yes, the bench has seen better days, and the couch probably has too, but that in no way subtracts from the beauty of this hidden gem. The waterfall amid the weeping fern fronds and the rugged cliff-face is quite a spectacle. The GPS was swinging around wildly, like a hills hoist in a hurricane, so I clambered around aimlessly for a while, before starting a more thorough search. Soon enough, I had cache in hand. Thanks for another cracker, malikaal.
Nice picnic spot but it's seen better days thanks for bringing me out here.
A nice challenge to find the cache & a good size booty for a change :<)

What a fantastic drive! I just love it up here! When I first saw this on the map, the windy roads instantly caught my attention. The roads shrouded in mist with the dense, green foliage is just breathtaking! Took a little back and forthing with poor reception, but the clues helped heaps! THankyou fo taking me along this road, definitely one of my favourite drives! TFTC!!!!
Found it after lots of climbing. The ground was unstable und messy. But nice area there. TFTC
Road construction crews have left the area which means access is once again possible to GZ.
Thanks Tony66 for the heads up about the fencing around the area. Had a bit of a look and the cache is still very safe and sound in its hiding place, however an ugly fence has been erected to to protect some roadworks equipment. Access is not too difficult on a weekend, but as I wouldn't recommend trying on a weekday I have temporarily disables the cache until the fence is removed again.
While this might not be everyone's choice of location for Sunday Lunch, I quite enjoyed it. The lovely little waterfall, shady trees and the quaint (and falling apart) picnic table made for a nice setting. According to both my phone and GPSr, GZ was still some 30m away, but with the thick over-head cover it's easy to understand why the GPS fix might not be so accurate. Looking around and it was not too hard to find somewhere that matched the clue and after following the geo-trail through the stinging nettles and undergrowth the cache was soon located. The double-boxed cache has ensured that the cache contents are all in good condition. TFTC.
Out on a sunday drive from Jeeralang along the Grand Ridge Road. We would never have found this one without the hint. SL TFTC Left magnet
During our Australia holiday we have found this cache.Took a bit to find but got it in the end. Great location, thank you for hide.
Great hide. Thanks for the hint because the GPS was all over the place on this wet and windy first day of October.

So much undergrowth made this a tricky find! While we were searching a ute full of lads stopped to ask the way, but first check that we were OK - so friendly of them. It was only afterwards that we had a crash caused by some girls coming too fast around a blind bend! Took the TB to bring back to Melbourne.
Found with Lauren at 16:40 after we drove along the Grand Ridge Road all the way from Seaview. The higher difficulty/terrain rating seems justifiable on this occasion because no one has found this cache for a while and the picnic ground is starting to get a bit overgrown. Lauren looked on from safety (well near safety) while I battled stinging nettles and bashed my way through long grass. All this while knowing we'd seen a Copperhead snake sunning itself on the road 5km or so before the cache. Soon enough the goods were revealed. Lauren was thrilled because she hadn't seen a geocache before. Signed the log, left a travel bug which I picked up less than a week earlier from a cache called Victorian High Country just off Howitt Road, Snowy Plains. Had some afternoon tea then drove onto Tarra Bulga. Thanks for the hide.
TFTC. Off road find looks like someone needs to go through with whipper snipper. Would be a good picnic spot if it was better maintained.
Well we had to do this cache after the greynomads took that amazing photo and placed it in their log. The photo makes the picnic ground look huge, but in reality it is quite small.
We thought it would take a while to find this cache but we followed the most likely goat track and came straight onto it. whew.... Thank God the old GPS was having a fit. lol
Thanks Malikaal for another fantastic adventure cache.

An interesting cache!! Found with the help of the additional hints, ably decrypted by Anne.
What a great place for a cache. Found it at 20.40 hrs - almost dark. Gave up once but went back to have another go with a torch. After locating the cache and signing the log book we could now set up the camp for the night. We couldn't think of a better place to camp after such a successful days caching - bliss. A waterfall nearby, a couple of survey markers, wallabies wandering past the van, and the early morning bird chorus capped off an nice overnight stop.

Great day for a ride on the Yamaha, so checked this one out and made an easy fing at 1441 hrs, using the nose rather than the GPSr. The latter pointed in another direction which would have been impossible! Nice and quiet today - a great place for a picnic except that on my last ride near here I almost ran over a grand specimen of the tiger variety. So had some trouble putting this vision out of my mind while exploring the area. Took the ladybug and left a viking. Thanks malikaal for this cache in a pleasant "secret" location,
1178 With absolutely no GPS coverage we did a cursory search before coming back to the truck and checking the hint - which gave us exacctly where the cache was. TFTC malikaal
After picking up a FTF up the road, geowife and I decided to take the road bike on a bit of an adventure along the Grand Ridge road. A bit of rain this morning made a few of the corners a bit interesting. A year ago this was not the place to be with unbelievable weather conditions and fire raging. Today it was pleasantly cool cruising along the bumpy road. Once a GZ it was quite a quick find compared to our efforts earlier. Some moron had dumped a huge carboard box in the bush right near the search area. What do they think is going to happen to it? Anyway cache was found and paperwork compleated at the table nearby. We once again were happy to find this as a FTF and took our prize (Thanks again). T-Car L- Daffy Duck Thanks to Malikaal for an enjoyable mornngs ride.
