Hi all owner here we finaly got back from a trip and we are going to fix these cachs up so be patient
The last logger logs as a find but says they found the tree and ants...does this mean they found the cache or not!
Too many DNF and issues woth this one to make searching with ants worthwhile. Nice tree and memorial though.

We've had so many goes at this one; each time we visit Hervey Bay we make our pilgrimage to the site in the hope of finally locating the elusive "Nicks Fig" cache. This was our first attempt after the recent re-instatement, and we were quite confident that this would be "the time". But alas, we came away empty handed again. With so many DNFs, and not a single find it would be nice if the CO could post a note letting us know if we are in fact on the right track, or are we wasting our time on yet another muggled cache (like his other one at the Historical Village). Maybe a hint, or an explanation of the "final location" waypoint could help us get this thing off our watch list - over to you eco-cat. Cheers from Bindair Dundat and the (not) very patient Princess Madelyn.
Tried till i was almost carried away from mozzies. Nothing stopping those buggers. Can the co please check. I have 5 to do to complete hervey bay and keave friday.
Another one. Disabled at the end of January 2016 and no CO action to be seen. Is it going to be replaced or is it time to archive this one.
this one again being destroyed by the coucil need to think hard about this replacment
Could not find any trace of this one today. Thanks for bringing us here. Cheers
Looked around and up and down from all the did not finds maintenance needs to be done to confirm its still here
Nice spot...even bought another Nik along to help us find it...Thanks for getting us out to see the fig
Searched around for a few minuites before seeing that it had already been muggled.. hope it gets replaced soon
Hi guys this has been muggeld again by the council so we endeavour to get back to this one and fix it soon
Spent ages looking, not available to us today.. Think we saw where it used to be??? Can you check it?
We were unable to find this elusive to us cache today - spent quite some time but too no avail!
TFTC eco-cat that we hope to find one day in the future??

Told you I'd be back, Great cache. I do like ones like this that are outside the thinking square. I really enjoyed the moments of pure puzzling despair. Learnt a valuable lesson (for the 100th time my wife would say), don't have a man look, have a proper look!
So just having found another eco-cat cache just up the road, we came armed with an inkling that this could be a devious hide. Despite another half-hour search, we still came up empty-handed..... is this what geocaching is about ??????. Hmmmmm!!!! Cheers from Bindair Dundat and Princess Madelyn.
Looks like we can join the list of DNFs for this one - scratched our heads for an hour to no avail- maybe next time. Cheers from Bindair and the Princess.
found this on my (marissa) 1 day trip to hervey bey, thanks for the cache, good spot
Never seen a cache like this:) very cool! We placed it back very carefully too, very glad this is now a smiley tftc!

Set out by self looking forward to a full day of excellent caching. It sort of didn't turn out that way. I visited 16 caches today - this being the first. Spent about an hour here - very unproductive and very demoralising. Like others before me, I found a piece of paper with signatures on it which I signed and hid under a root of the tree, but however determined I was to find the actual cache, it didn't work out. Will be very happy to change this to a smilie if CO can confirm that the cache has been muggled again. TFTC eco-cat.
We also found crumpled paper with cachers names and dates on it, we had a quick look but didn't stick around.
When I arrived at the plaque today I found a crumpled up piece of paper which on closer inspection had dates and cachers names.
So given all the previous DNF's I left it for another day.
It could do with some TLC.
Cheers

Arrived into Hervey Bay today, have set up in the caravan park. Now its time to find a few caches.
We had a wonderful drive along your beautiful foreshore. All the caches we found were well maintained, & good hints made for easy finds.

What a wonderful old tree. Beautiful spot, very relaxing. Log is a bit damp and mouldy but still able to write on. TFTC

My sister, doscrapbooking, and I are heading north looking for caches over the next few days on a road trip.
Today is day 3 of our road trip and we have now arrived in Harvey Bay on our return trip.
It is now after lunch and we have a couple of cache we want to get before the day is over.
A quick find here which is a very different story to the last time I was here.
With the Log book signed, cache replaced and we were on our way again.
Thanks for the cache

Found it after a short search but had to revisit certain spots before I found it. Am curious how a dog could poop there though.
We found our first ever with this one and donated blood to the local mozzie population!
Nice quiet area. Kept a dozen or so mosquitoes well fed while looking but apart from that a nice hide. TFTC
