On way to a work gig, some Camden geocaching via a detour. A sunny late morning to you all. Adding a few degrees to my 360 map of found geocaches. TFTC jkcourtz
TFTC. Sarah and Bethany. Cache was big enough for swapping. We might visit again to swap something.
Highlight a whip-bird in the tree next to the cache!Co-ords are good. (Ignore close-by clumps of bush- these may have more loggy logs but are also guarded by thorns a-plenty!)Thanks jkcourtz for the cache
Cool little walk with an awesome view I would have never known about. Spotted the cache nice and easy. TFTC

We are on a short (three day) caching holiday in and around Camden, staying for two nights in a park cabin at the Poplar Tourist Park in Elderslie. Hoping to collect some previously solved Mystery/Puzzle caches, complete some Adventure Labs, and find as many different cache icon types as we can to go towards this month’s "Wheel of Challenges" souvenir chase. The homeward journey will be via Galston, where we have pre-booked tickets for the Sunday running of the Hornsby Model Engineers Galston Valley Model Railway. Photos will be uploaded to some (most) logs on our return to home base.
Today (day 2) we started with a walk around Camden's Bicentennial Equestrian Park to collect some caches, followed by a brief visit to Camden Airport for a MultiCache, before heading into Camden's Town Centre for an Adventure Lab and some shopping. After lunch we took a stroll down through Wetlands Reserve and Kings Bush Reserve for another Adventure Lab and some other caches, before going for a loop drive around Cawdor Road, Burragorang Road, and the Old Hume Highway to collect some more caches. This was the 23rd of 27 finds for the day (day 2), and 44th find of the holiday.
This one was next, parking the geomobile at the gate off Ferguson Lane, then heading down the dirt road and to GZ. Quickly spotted the hide and soon had CIH. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. The camo has broken in two, but it's still doing a good job. TFTC jkcourtz.

Out and about with ilook4geo and picking out a mixture of caches for the day. There was no problem in finding the container here and the log had both names noted on it to mark our visit. Thanks go to jkourtz for placing this cache
Shared the find here with goingplaces2, signed the log and replaced all as found. We had a good day and found a variety of caches. TFTC.
We read the hint and knew were it was bad then I went in the bush and ta da found it!
Unfortunately pen is out of ink so couldn’t put our names in the book, but a good find nonetheless
After a busy morning on the home front and an appointment nearby, with a little time to spare before my next appointment, what better to do than find a couple of caches still showing up as greenies on my map. I picked 3 in close proximity, and set out.
Continuing from my first dastardly find, I drove past the location of my final target to see a large gathering of workers! Oh no, that doesn’t look good. I’ll have to deal with that shortly.
As I travelled up the road past the “stinky” buildings, not knowing the nature or locale of the hide, I was somewhat concerned about the vast amount of construction going on in this area. They must be going to handle a lot of s…..excrement….in this place!
I made my turn into the next street to eventually find a much quieter location, but still a couple of cars around and strangely, a bird feeder just up the road. I headed down the trail towards the GZ. Ah yes, I remember this hill, I’ve run over it on occasion!
Bashed my way into the area and soon found the hidden treasure. What was a bit weird was that on extraction, quite literally, the earth moved under it! It was nothing short of bizarre!
So I signed and replaced as found, leaving the earth to settle back down.

Once I figured out it wasn't on private property it was full steam ahead! A quick find not "Stinky" today. TFTC jkcourtz.
This was awesome thank you. Great walk, interesting things to see, cool hide. Signed the log. Took a plastic bird and left a matchbox car. TFTC
Out for a run after work and up the hill we go to find a cache. Worms and critters and loving this one but no issues with the cache container or log at this stage. A clever Camo, thanks
Found with Littl3Vix on our Camden adventure day. This was a fun walk down to what turned into a hilariously ninja cache. We thought we had the park to ourselves and Littl3Vix stopped to take some pictures while I started the hunt. I'm not sure If I got lucky or had good instincts but I found this straight away and called out the find to Littl3Vix. As she got to where I was, we both heard voices coming close quickly. I couldnt go far by this point, I had the cache open and had been about to sign the logbook, so I opted to "think like a statue" meanwhile Littl3Vix made a dart for behind a bush and I had to force myself not to laugh and give us away once they left and the coast was clear, Littl3Vix and I both laughed and completed the signing duties. This one gets a FP if only because of the unintented adventure we had
On a geoventure with Mizcupcake in the Camden area today. We stopped for this one Which was pretty adventurous due to the muggles we were not expecting. Having gotten to go and locating the cache and about to sign, we suddenly heard a group of muggles on the other side of the tree line coming toward us. Mizcupcake hid behind some camo at gz while I made a mad dash behind a bush. Waiting for the coast to be clear we burst into laughter. Signing and replacing in tears of joy, we went back to the geomobile. TFTC!
The little birds were busy today. Thanks, I haven't seen Camden from this direction before.
Off to find clues... as there is a Mystery afoot!
Teamed up with Stumble's Mate for the day. It took us a few caches to decide our signing name was HUMS and boy did we "hums" putting a big dent in the caches around Camden. Thanks to all the CO's and thanks to Stumble's Mate for the wonderful company.

The day started with an early morning event in Mittagong.
Happy Uke mentioned that she was heading up to Camden today to grab some caches and as I had no plans for the day, I asked if she would like some company.
So we headed off with Uke driving and me navigating targeting caches that would help us with the "Mystery at the Museum" event.
All up we found around 31 caches. All are signed "HUMS" as either HUSM or SMHU just didn't cut it.....LOL
Thanks to the CO's for putting these out and apologies for the generic logs.

Today I teamed up again with marj01 for another day of caching, this time around the Narellan/Camden/Cobbity areas. We had a very enjoyable and adventurous day visiting the cache locations, finding a heap of hides but also a few DNF's along the way.
A quick find and not too stinky today. TFTC.

Came here to find a multi but think I was way off course. The Equestrian Course looks like it it set up for the cross country and looks pretty spectacular except it is dry.
Pity the area has been used by rubbish dumpers but they left behind these little gems which could well be re purposed. Just had to fight off the ants.
Thanks jkourtz

TFTC. After initially missing the entrance and trying to squeeze through the barb wire fence my tshirt was caught and I now bear the signs of my mischief. Views were worth it once another entry point was found.
14362. Found during a day run around the Hill Top / Tahmoor / Picton area with minniek.
Headed up the Hume for another caching adventure in this area - still plenty of caches to collect ! Next one for the day. Parked at the gate and did the short walk up to GZ for a quick find by minniek. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and it was off to the next one.
Thanks to all the COs for putting out these caches.

Headed up to Picton/Camden area with fitzy_1965 today. We found so many micro's today! Those fiddly little things certainly took a bit of time to log, roll back up and re-hide!!
Certainly got a few stinky whiffs on the way up to GZ. Circled around then went straight in for the find. Loved the camo.

Decided on a big day caching around Cobbity / Camden. Unlike a number of days recently, was out well before lunchtime.
A surprising number of micros given the number of rural settings for the hides I found today. Found everything I went for - a good day. That said I went past one and decided not to try the creek crossing - not confident of my balance (should return with the gum boots...)
And of course, back near home there was publishing...
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Had a look at *Loggerheads* but decided not to brave the balancing act, and the gumboots were back in the car. So continued on to this one.
Final walk uphill led to a nice view, and as I closed in on GZ spotted something. Might as well check it.
CIH!
Nice and easy.
Completed signing duties and replaced, then charted a course to my next target - inadvertently via two lovebird schoolkids.
