Could not find it. Several wonderful likely hidey-holes, but nothing in there except beer bottles/cans and even human poop. Seems to be a hangout for the locals.
Bush? which of 50 plus bushes could it possibly be. Unfortunately the hint did not narrow down the search area, so a extensive search was undertaken. All we could find was party rubbish.
Out for a nice walk on the beach with extended family and we decided to have a little hunt for this cache. With 3 adults and 2 kids searching it had to be one of the kids who found it! My daughter made the find and we all signed off on the log. It was a nice winter day at the beach and we explored the nearby caves (but didn't bring a tape measure to log the Earth Cache nearby) so we will definitely be back. TFTC!
Gps running low on batteries, we were covered in mud and sand and the rain was rolling in - but we found the cache. t4tc
Low tide and many people walking on the beach - no one swimming though. Very interesting feature - and ancient volcanic column? T4TC - M@
Found after a little search, co-ords maybe a little west of actual GZ still
great spot

We loved this spot and spent quite a bit of time at Bethells Beach while visiting from the U.S. Unfortunately we couldn't find the cache. Looked all around gz but couldn't spot it for some reason. Still wanted to say thanks for bringing us here. Cheers!
Damm - the top of this whole feature has changed since we placed this cache - so you'll all be glad to know I have placed another cache here, in almost the same spot - I'll update the co-ordinates.
Happy caching !

Lovely beach even in bad weather!
I must remember - just because I live in NZ it doesn't mean there aren't any stinging things in the bushes. Paper wasps HURT!

A lovely walk on the beach on a hot afternoon. Pity we couldn't find it, even with three adults and five rabidly curious kids.
Pleasant morning walk along the beach, quickly found the cache then as the tide was low, ventured around the rocks to Wigmore Bay.

Searched for at least twenty minutes but got nothing but scratches, lovely walk along the beach though!
One beach I love to come to when in the city, lots of people out enjoying the beach away from the rain in the city.
Off to do a few more out in the far west this morning. Found this cache all out in the open and uncovered.
Signed the log and put it a little further back in the shrubbery.
Cheers for the cache.

Cheers for the cache.
This was our very first time out looking for a cache. So it was very exciting to find it.
Beautiful sunny spring day with fresh air, amazing views together with finding some treasure.
Thanks.

Thanks.
Great walk out there today, the weather was fantastic. Had a bit of trouble finding it even with 3 pairs of eyes, but we came, saw, and conquered. TYFTC
Well enjoyed the walk on the beach, but failed to locate the cache. Sure it's still there, searched for a while but a few more placed to hunt. Thanks for the cache.
Went looking with Susiedog and Blackman family on a beautiful sunny day. Great spot could sit there all day and enjoy the view. Thanks
What a beautiful day for a walk along the beach! Found by torropkalex and Susiedog before I even made it to GZ. GC and TB in, TB out. TFTC
After lots of rainy weekends the sun was finally out and the walk down the black sand beach was just magic. Took a while to rummage around for the cache with muggles passing unaware below. Swapped geocoins. T4TC.

Went there yesterday with the daughter of a friend to show her about geocaching, and left the little yellow turtle!
This one took me a while, went there the day before, had to bring the dog to find it. Nice one!

Joint FTF with stu4 at 2355 . Met up with stu4 and 10centcoin at the other new cache tonight, and decided we'd go for this one. 10centcoin piked on us, citing work or something as the reason - so stu4 and myself ventured out by ourselves. Arrived at a deserted carpark, and took an inland approach to it along a pretty overgrown track through the bush and dunes. We were wondering about our choice for a while until suddenly the track turned and went over the dunes onto the beach about 200m from the cache. We quickly found the general area, but the cache took a few minutes to reveal itself - a good hide, and a good choice of difficulty rating. Strolled back along the beach and up the stream to the car. TFTC!!!
Left the shore and headed off. Decided on car pooling and took FMZ for a ride. Great walk under the stars on a crystal clear night. Neat place for the cache, must come back in the day light. Joint FTF with FMZ @ 11.55. TFTC.
