Logs
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Sorry, I am currently quite busy with my studies and assessment. Therefore I was not able to get away on weekends to replace this one. It's prepared and ready to go. If someone else wants to place a cache there, feel free to contact me and i will disable this one.
Guess this one has gone walkabout. Since Team Robin wasn't able to find it despite the photo-hint I emailed them, I am almost certain. Did attempt to check it after the last DNF, but there were too many people around preparing the area for the Italian Festival, so couldn't do a proper check then.
Will check it as soon as I can.

Pathetic effort, came back twice, had afternoon tea there, but it did not show itself (oh, you mean I actually have to look) ..... I'll be back!
crossing auround and search some caches, it feels so good to be here.

Some workers were on the walkway for ages before clearing off and letting me have a look on that side. iPhone camera came in very handy. Thanks for showing the interesting crusher

Quick easy find at 1430. This type of cache you either find quickly or can take awhile if coords slightly out. I was lucky. Found at first part of object searched as GPSr was indicating this area, TFTC
Found it quickly! Was dad's first geo and he has an "eagle eye"!! Good fun. TFTC
Used the rest of the month's 'luck' up by looking in the right spot right away! Was strange to find one so quick. Thanks
Good quick find ...just what we ordered on our long drive north. Much appreciated; thanks!
As the Intrepid one works in the sugar milling sector she felt right at home standing next to this crushing mill. Didn't read the query about the number until after we had left so cannot give an answer. Sorry.

Brahms6 found this. After scratching around in the obvious places I walked away and approached from a different direction went straight to it. Good cache SL
The log book was a little damp, but a few minutes in the sun seemed to help.

We were by now supposed to be in Townsville but our caching stops, and some DNF battles had delayed us so I was in favour of skipping a couple here. But Mr Winglen prevailed and we made a couple of quick finds in succession. I don't know how he found this one so quickly. Interesting piece of machinery - a crushing experience!! Thanks Corikra.
we had to search a little bit longer for this one. But after a few minutes we finally spotted the little one. Greetings from Switzerland.
Had some time while waiting for the bus at Ingham. Thanks a lot for showing me this place!

Found at 1:20PM on the 24th of August by Ray and Maya. Welcome break in our drive from Townsville to Mission Beach. It's a massive bit of machinary. I was wondering if the numbers between the two large green gears is a date. TFTC. The Nomads.
After one of the logs had said the container was not magnetic anymore I did a maintenance trip, only to find that the magnets are still in the container, but it was lying in plain sight. Not all parts of the cane crusher are magnetic and of course you have to attach the container the right way round. Please make sure you put it back where you found it.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Just a note to say i didn't add Scout badge TB, finger trouble when i logged last visit. Happy cacheing all
No longer magnetic and I dont think where it should be... may need a check to ensure it aint muggled Cheers from Sydney.

Quick find in the morning but definitely no TB in the cache. It would not even fit in there!!!
Nice Easy Cache - Can see that this area will be lovely when it is fully developed.
Found it after a walk along the boardwalk. It was fairly open to muggles when we found it, but we put it just a little further back, in the same spot though. Thanks for the location.
Found finally by rockmonkey junior after much searching. Impressive piece of machinery.

Came here with a bus trip and thought ' there must be a cache here' so came back today with co-ords and found it. Easy with GPS. TNLN and TFTC.
After climbing the lookout tower we decided where the cache would be. Both wrong, but found it without trouble.

WanderingAus wandered by on day 39 of our annual 'Climatic Refugee' trip, after dropping the WanderingMrs (aka SWMBO) at a line dancing social, and found a few muggle children in the vicinity of GZ. They were having a ball, riding a mixture of skateboards, ripsticks and scooters down the slope and into the carpark, most of them with rainbow coloured flashing lights on their wheels.
I summed up the situation, and made my way over to the piece of machinery, and at an opportune moment moved into the dark side. I was just thinking to myself "now where could it be" as I turned on a small LED torch for the first time, and amazingly it was shining right at the cache, which had been placed in a rather conspicuous position. It made for a very quick and easy GAFF 1 find. After doing my thing I returned it a couple of cm back from where I found it.
My find No 2467, TNLNSL.

We have done some of this walk before at the wetlands but not over to this area. SL TFTC
I chose a place to start looking and then worked my way around checking almost every square inch of this thing until I found the cache a foot from where I started, it would have been so much quicker if I'd gone left instead of right. Thanks for the cache corikra. No swaps today.
We thought that finding this might have been difficult with quite a few people about but fortunately we spotted it quickly during a break in the crowd! We then went on to enjoy the view from the platform. thanks

Had a bit of trouble spotting this one despite the boys searching well.
