Wandering around Victoria Park in Waimate. Left my calling card with Wallaby. Cheers.Day 3 - Christchurch to Waimate today, with a few Geo stops along the way.Zara, Toby and I are on an adventure, heading to the Dunedin Mega with some extra days along the way. Caught up with TaybeeNZ on 22 Oct for a day caching around Christchurch. Then made my way down to Waimati for the night. Arrived in Dunedin Thursday afternoon. Beautiful day Friday to cache around Port Chalmers. Mega Day was cold, wet and miserable and Sunday not much better. Sophia arrived on Sunday for a few days. Teamed up with TaybeeNZ for next three days touring the Catlains Monday, Stewart Island Tuesday and Milford Wednesday, then started making my way home, arriving Friday Morning.
Thank you for the cache, beautiful sunny day in waimate. Great cache to grab while taking the kids to look at the gardens and animals. Visited the waimate wallaby park, definitely recommend.
Staying in our motorhome at the NZMCA Park down the road. Have been meaning to come for a walk around these gardens - no dogs with me today. Nice quick find beside the wallabies. TFTC
We have just arrived at the nearby NZMCA park and brought our dog for a wander down to this park Pretty cool place - loads going on. Stood and watched/talked to the pigs and signed the cache at the same time.TFTC
Picked up while out for a morning stroll. How weve never known this was here is beyond us! TFTC

Looked in all the obvious and not so obvious with no luck. There had been a lot of the garden trimmed back which could have been to the caches demise.
I loved the opportunity to go in and see the wallabies!
Had a good old chat to them while retrieving and returning the cache.
Thankfully it is a crappy, overcast day so not many muggles about to see the crazy lady talking to the animals.
TFTC- I had a lovely stroll around this park collecting caches

Shame these are such a pest because they're really quite cute. Thanks for the cache
Just arrived and muggles arrived from three different directions.
No problems once they disappeared.
Nice little enclosure.
Thanks for putting this here

Working in Waimate for the day so thought I’d grab a couple of caches in my lunch break... one of those was this one. TFTC
What a beautiful park! Even some flower beds were blooming colourful. And the Wallabies were funny (at least one of them. The other was sleeping). We found the cache without drawing suspicion.
Thank you very much for showing us this beautiful and peaceful place!

Took a few moments to find but we got there in the end. Had a lovely wander in the early evening
A wander after tea and before light fails. Enjoyed the animals and birds, a very cute baby peacock sat up on a perch with mum, not sure how it managed it without flying, but no flying feathers -go figure!! Found with Lytteltonwitch. TFTC
