I've recently decided to start hunting down some Archived Caches that are still in situ.
I was in the area today, so I loaded up the Archived Cache filter and spotted this one.
I have driven past this one many times, and curiosity got the better of me today. This one is still here in great condition. Will need to come back and grab the rest of the caches along the bike path now.
TFTC gum-nuts.

104th Cache for the day.
A nice easy find, but the spider paranoia was working quite well. Very reluctant to feel around in little nooks and crannies.

Headed out to find some caches from the periodic table this morning with MNS13 and csucat... This was a welcome change along the way An easy find was made here in the obvious spot... TFTC gum-nuts. Cache was in good condition, however log was damp but signable
Great weather for a ride this morning. I headed out with Jasenjanine & Csucat to do some of the periodic table. We set off at Telephone lane with 2 geokids in tow (Charlie & Nate) but Nate decided he didn't like our plans for the day so he went off to play at grandmas house. (thank-you grandma!)
Along the way we had plenty offers for help and "Are you ok" from passing cyclists. It was a nice easy ride and we managed to find almost all of the caches we set out to find. Thanks gum nuts for the adventure!

A great morning of caching with Janine (of JasenJanine) and and Shannan (MMS13)! Cycled the freeway path from Telephone Lane to Safety Bay Road with geodaughter in the trailer and confused the muggles, though there were a lot of offers to help us if we needed it. Thanks for the cache gum-nuts
A nice day together with an RDO got me in the mood to dust off my trusty yellow mountain bike and head for the cycle path. I thought it would also be a good time to find a few caches in quick succession. TFTC
Happy Mothers Day to all the Mums , we certainly have a perfect day.
Today we are continuing along the Periodic Table bike trail.
This is one of the bonus caches we found today.
Thanks gum-nuts

We biked our way along the freeway from Cockburn Central shops down to this cache geocaching as we went. This cache became our turn-around point for the 20 something kilometre cycle back.

[:(!] After church we went for a caching run to do the next part of the Periodic Table Series and fitted in some extra ones along the way, and this was one of them, parked the geoGrand Vitara as close as possible to GC496ET (Mendelevium) and then rode me geobike, on arrival at GZ the cache was in hand in a matter of minutes.

Like many others will do, I stopped to log this find while riding the latest installment of the Periodic Table series. TFTC.
Out for a solo run on the bike to hopefully complete the latest release of this series in the area.
A nice quick successful find of the twenty-ish attempted today! I replace the bag with a new one to hopefully keep the log a bit drier! TFTC!

Have driven past this countless times and thought it looked like a park and walk. Not having dragged the bike out for a few years.
Having said that I'm inspired to go a few of these freeway ones on bike.
Just need to wait for done cooler weather.

Out on a very grand morning, with my buddy Tanzanite, caching exclusively by "pushy" today.
This bike hike was our second cycle trail of the day, having already completed the excellent Pioneers Trail already that morning.
This one is about an 18 km round trip, from a good parking location, a few hundred meters East of #1.
The cycle path is in excellent condition, is very flat and makes for an easy smooth ride.
The majority of the Caches were also straight forward, but still offered a good variety of containers and a very creative one thrown in !!!!
We had a great ride could of easily done another 10 !!!!
Thanks for all the Caches and the exercise.

On my way back from from a morning of paintballing I thought. I would drop in and grab this one. Nice camo job, I didn't notice it straight away as I was examining all those little nooks and crannies first then I spotted it.

With iluvtrekking as a cycling buddy I set off to complete this series. After a DNF at #8, this was a welcome find!
We parked the Geo cruiser on the side of Mundijong road to make a quick park n grab of this one. (not much traffic today, must be everyone taking it easy being 1/1/12)
Mr Felix nearly got run over by a cyclist though as we headed to GZ.
Quick find once we reached GZ safely.

The end. Had a great time with richlink peddling along the path, but I am seriously thinking about that electric bike that FelixII are using, maybe then I can ride in the front!!

We enjoyed looking for caches in this series - there was variety and good exercise as we completed the hunt on foot. This particular cache was a quick find. TFTC gum-nuts

I have been saying to Skulduggery for a while that I wanted to get out and do this series. After they completed it yesterday I decided it was time. Draggin 10yo Geoson along with me, we were dropped off near the Mundijong Rd entrance to the bike ramp and cycled the some 60m to this first one. Ahh, easy I thought as I coughed and spluttered through the last vestiges of a cold. Geoson made an easy find and we were off again.
Thanks for the cache gum-nuts

Decided to only do this cache in the series. Will do the others at another time. This one was fine, if the others in the series are as good, it will be well worth the hike. TFTC
I've been meaning to do this series for a while, so last night I set the alarm for 5:00am to beat the heat, and this morning, I was was off!! Nice little ride out to the Freeway from Safety Bay, then up to this cache. Had to battle the early morning spiders on the way, stringing their webs across the bike path.

being a keen cyclist myself have been looking forward to attempting this series ever since it was published....found first very quickly...log a bit damp...thanks gum-nuts
YAH! We have finished and loved the whole trip and it took us just over an hour to go from 11 up to 1. We're glads you got a new bike Jess and placed theses caches hopefully you'll continue putting some more further down the freeway. Geokid snr said she hopes you're happy cause her bottom is so sore and she doesn't want to get back on her bike for a while . Just a shame we couldn't find number 2. Thanks Gum-nuts
Well on this beautiful winters morning i decided to take smallest geokid in the pram and jog to #1. found easily SL and back we went to head to #4. TFTF
First one for the day, I parked down by the zig zag and used my bike to get quite a number of caches in the area today.
Found the cache OK, Thanks for the hunt.
