A fresh map for a fresh year…
Missing caches has been a topic of conversation recently. To rectify this, I manually checked every cache listing within 70km from home – for caches that needed “Needs Maintenance” or “Needs Archive” logs. I found that there are quite a few caches that needed attention from their respective owners or the local community volunteer reviewers. Now one month on, I’ve gone back through my bookmarked list to check on the status of the said caches.
Unfortunately posting a Needs Archived log due to lack of maintenance.
There has been a string of DNF’s since May 2016.
The cache seems to have been muggled again after Owner Maintenance.
A Needs Maintenance Log was posted on 2nd December.
No response from CO.
No action has been taken to maintain this cache.

Any chance the CO can check on this one?
Thank you

Not sure whether it's the good hide or the bad neighbours but I gave the place a pretty thorough search today and came up with nothing.
Cache is now a dna tube. Hopefully this will stay longer. Use extreme stealth as im 99% sure the person muggling it lives across the road. Put back in exact same place as found
Three attempts, careful studying of the logs, and even advice from one of the most recent finders has not produced a find for me. I suspect that its been re-muggled. Perhaps its time for the CO to do a check?
Dnf looked for ages maybe muggle neighbour has pinched it. Co worth a quick check. Cheers
After a rather unsuccessful few dnfs today I was pleased to spot this one before giving up. Not the nano I was picturing which means I need to remove preconceptions when caching! Small wasp nest being built on the bus shelter, but cache is in a safe spot. Tftc.
#2962 - Found on the geo-bikes. Took a bit of dirty finger hunting but Marg finally sighted it for Bruce to grab. Many thanks to CO ***sgt.rios88*** for establishing and maintaining this cache.
For some reason this was a very busy place today - construction, road works, telstra... you name it, they were all here. We were tempted to give it a miss but made a find quick. Signed log in the car and returned it just as quickly. Should be no worries for the cache.

What a busy place today 24.03.16 - Telstra cars everywhere, why aren't they out fixing our connection!
Once located a quick grab and sign back at the car and returned just as quickly to the hide using the car as a shield.

Today I went caching with Dirk and Hanorah near Appin/Picton/Thirlmere. Well, I drove them around and looked for the caches
Ugh, this one could have wasted a lot of time if I had started on the other side.... TFTC!

TFTC in this location it is what helps make geocaching an enjoyable activity. Unfortunately after a good look around we didn't find the cache this time.
After reading previous logs, was a wee bit wary of this one. But mizmaz soon had CIH and no screaming locals, so far so good. TFTC.
StumbleTrip used her height advantage to search obvious corners while I read out the last dnf log about the cranky neighbour. This slowed down our search as we kept an eye across the road and wondered if the cache name was inspired by this over-zealous observant muggle. Deciding we needed two sets of eyes to speed up the search, I started to climb to a different elevation and just spotted something “outside the box” and not where we would have considered looking before we’d given up.
I found this cache as a joint part of “Team” *Throsbyonchurch* and in which name the log book was signed. I now have my own account as I’m old enough to cache myself, so I am claiming a fair share of my earlier finds. As I had no caching name at the time there's no log in the book for me but I’m claiming the find under team ToC. Thank you for the hide.
I found this cache jointly with TOC and now I have my own account I am claiming my finds. My caching name is not in the log book though as I didn't have one. I can cache on my own now. Thank you for the hide.
Gingerly came back to GZ to find this cache. Arrived at 6:30pm, daylight !! What a difference a bit of daylight makes in finding a cache. Didn't take us long before CIH, log signed and returned to hide'y hole. Didn't see or hear a peep from our friend over the road. Thanks for the hide.
The magnet has given up, the cache is no longer up where the
spiders make their home. TFTC

Found very quickly in location that did not match the hint. Returned where found. Tftc xo
Last cache for the night near 8 at night. Pulled up like a bus and made like a detective, but neither worked. And then ....... mumma steelo with the torch in hand yelled across the front lawn demanding to know what we were doing there whilst pussy pappa stood at the door. We just ignored her and kept on looking. Then she started yelling that we'd better get out of here because she'd called the police. I just yelled back that I was happy to speak with them and we were doing nothing wrong. Oh yes you are she yelled back and ranted on about calling the police. We just kept looking while she kept ranting. She eventually went inside and shut the door. If this is an introduction to night caching I think i'll stay home. I surely don't know what Thirlmere is like at night and I know she was caring for the bus shelter, but honestly that was not pleasant. We looked for quite some time with no luck. Day light look appears to be in order ... hmmmm [ ]

At the moment I'm on a work and travel backpacking trip through the world. Most of the first two years I'll spend in Australia and I'm trying to solve my 365 days of caching challenge during this trip. The chance of having a moving home zone should be taken, as it will make the challenge so much easier.
This one was a quick and easy find.

9714 + 1093 = 10807. Found during a run up through this region with ZZ7 and Sol de Lune.
Left Canberra at 0630 and at -5 Degrees ! Drove to Colo Vale where we started our caching. The three of us searched the object in question and I was happy to make the find ! I'd call that high ! Signed, returned, and we were off to the next one.
Thanks sgt.rios88 !!

Spent 10 minutes looking high. However, too high. Sue finally noticed it a bit lower.
A big day - 7 finds for us. Celebrated with a geocuddle.

Found this a while ago during long weekend just forgot to log it still quite a bit of muggle traffic even at night time
No luck today, yet we still had a win... While loitering at the bus stop surreptitiously searching for the cache, a rural fire service truck came past with the Easter bunny on board!! They stopped, JetFuselage hugged the said bunny and we departed with a handful of chocolate eggs.
Searched everywhere with no luck. I think it's gone.

This took longer than it should have as it was not where the hint suggested. Replaced where it should be?

Container has been replaced with slightly larger container. Sorry for not replacing sooner been very busy. Have fun finding
Couldn't find it, is it still there, we looked for ages and it's meant to be an easy find.
Ahhh not a nano! Very happy with that . Made for a quick find.
Thanks sgt.rios88

Stopped off to this one while I was in the area, quick find since I went to the right left, or the left right? I think it ended up being on the left of the right side facing left. Cant remember. TFTC!
Expected a more difficult search after reading it was a nano but it wasn't as small as expected and we spotted it straight away.

Heading up to the Windosr invasion with Tankengine, Albida and Sol De lune from Canberra, signed logs with "Mast" or a sticker to save space.
Great to find all these caches enroute
wow found it in double quick time which is good as sometimes these bus stop caches can be tricky

Windsor trip June 2013 with Mtrax, Tankengine and Sol de Lune. With no one shooting at us we were able to peer at all the parts of the shelter and see the cache. Thanks.

Easy - just pretend you are a bus! Found on our Windsor Invasion weekend with Mtrax, Albida33 and Sol de lune!
We had stickers for many of the finds, but where the log was too small, we signed it as MAST (Mtrax, Albida33, Sol de lune, Tankengine). Had a great weekend, well up until the Sunday, when the rain set in! Thanks SR88.

Found with Mtrax, Albida and Tankengine as we headed towards Windsor for the weekend. (Some logs were signed as M.A.S.T - Mtrax, Albida, Sol de Lune, Tankengine - to save space....)
Yep, we made like a bus and after a short search, the cache was safely in hand.
Thanks for the cache......

This one is a bit bigger than a micro and like another tall finder spotted it as Lozza and I approached. It's no longer in view.
