Smile Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I live full-time in our caravan travelling around NZ, visiting the places we want to visit & doing the things we want to do and fitting in a bit of Geocaching here & there we were staying in Balclutha we had decided that we would go for a geocaching road-trip today we parked out on the street then went for a casual meander through the cemetery this cache was easily found, log-book signed, we added a TB to the cache & then the cache replaced as originally found were pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally TFTC ... TN:LN:LS this was #6,225 for us!

Today StreetWalkerNZ and I are travelling home to Christchurch after an enjoyable week caching in and around first Dunedin and then Invercargill. It's a long way to travel so we have to limit caching along the way.We had never been to this old cemetery before, and this older cache was the lure, though the lack of hint was a bit of a worry as we were wanting quick drive bys. GZ did look a bit daunting, and after unsuccessfully searching the yew trees, I glanced over the another tree, and there was the cache, phew. SW was called over to retrieve . TFTC.

06-Jan-24
#23462. We checked the Yew trees first, but found nothing. We then widened the search and Troodles spotted it. Then we were on our way (after another driver change). TFTC.

Cache 1321 Headed up this way today to start tackling this months challenge “finding favourites” so it’s a hunt for another 50-100 caches needed before June but I’m always up for a challenge so took a nice Sunday drive
Tried this one a while ago in the pitch dark (cemetery’s are creepy at night) but had no luck so today was an avenge type day, searched the wrongs trees for a while before turning around and easily spotting the cache “there you are” cache is in good condition T4TC

Yes lots of neat rows here. All very peaceful. Left my calling card. Cheers.

Wednesday 11 November. Its Balclutha, Stirling, Tokomairiro, Waitahuna, Mt Stewart windfarm and back to Balclutha today. Lets get exploring.

Toby, Zara and I are on a 3 week geo adventure of Cromwell, Southland, Catlins, Balclutha with a day in Dunedin and quick stop in Timaru. With Lenny, my trusty navigator and TBD my companion/mascot. we managed to visit lots of green boxes, now happy faces with the odd sad one. Did some LABs , earth caches, virtuals and wherigos, all chucked into the mix to rack up 500 odd caches. Lots of kilometers, lots of exploring and lots of fun. Thanks to all COs for our wonderful experience.

Headed out today to pick off a bunch of caches alongside the mighty Clutha, as part of a last-minute effort to grab the final souvenir for the Museum challenge. The first rest-stop-ish in the Milton-Balclutha-Beaumont triangle came and went, and I decided to grab a cache in town before heading out. No issues with this one, found it pretty nicely. Cheers!

06-Aug-19
Took one look at gz and my heart sank. No good at finding these. Had a look in some obvious places to me. Then looked where my eyes were drawn right at the start. Too good to be true

19-Jul-19
A day off work for the last day of the school holidays so a road trip to the east cost.
So we loaded up Abbykitt and sunny900 and squeeze lovehart900 in some as well I think !? Is very quiet back there.
So we loaded up the cache mobile and headed east . On route we managed to out run the rain and as we approached the cost the sun greeted us .
So where to start ?? so the voice from the directors seat let's try this one and then that one .
So left here and right there ,left ,right, and right again. .
We soon got to where we need to be and the surch started .
A holiday road trip with annielin and Abbykitt and sunny900 an lovehart900.
Annielin was walking around in circles looking and making funny noises so I got out of the cache mobile and walked straight up to the cache and then there was alor more funny noises.
Thanks for the hide

Headed down south on a beautiful still autumn afternoon with Natalie247. She suggested this one so we headed in to find and some tree maintenance had been done within the area. Took a while as GPS had us here and there so decided to put it down and just look. Found after a while but my call of found must have been a bit buffeted through the bush. Set off in the cache mobile and headed off for some more caching. TFTC Lehcier

Yayyy I found it. Earlier in 2018 I looked but could not find it. I think when it was missing. Since then the bushes have been trimmed back quite a lot and you can reach the GC a lot easier. Found it straight away this time and signed the log.

After a fun southern family holiday in the Catlins and Invercargill it's time to start heading for home (CHCH).....staying the night in the Waitaki just to break the drive...allowed one or two caches along the way (so it doesn't take toooooo long getting there)! Nothing beats a good cemetery cache in the rain. Cheers.

*Returned to pick up my throw down which the previous finder had trouble locating after they finally found the original jar. Vindicated I can finally log my bonafide find at the same time as they hadn't hidden it wery well. Replaced the bag that had seen better days and since the log was no better, popped in my copy. TFTC Lehcier* ___Found 29 Sep 16 Stopped and had wee scout around and DNF the screw top, had dropped in a camo 200ml tub in obvious hide tucked away for however long it might last. *The muggled [TB](https://coord.info/TB63RJG) got marked as missing eventually.*
