Unfortunately it wasn’t our day today to make a find. When you see branches that looked like they came from a flood above your head, morale is already pretty low. We will be back to avenge. Thanks anyway
Back here for a second look.
Choose a more gentle slope up to the area this time.
Did not take long to spot the cache today.
The puzzle gave me a bit of resistance and I did reach out for a hint.
Thank you for this well themed cache

This was an interesting puzzle, and although I had a few hunches and suspicions, it required a nudge from a previous finder to focus on a particular communication area. This reminded me of a similar puzzle from Adelaide, but there were a few more hints and nudges (and I found that a tough puzzle as I was still learning how puzzles worked).
Today, baby Warren and I had an early start with a northern drive to Caboolture to participate in parkrun, and we used the opportunity to complete [Central Lakes Caboolture](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/a7df1f4d-e91c-4a0f-adb0-023897a20506) Adventure Lab. It was then followed by [JaT's Community Celebration Event](https://coord.info/GC8K07H), where we had a lovely walk around the lakes area completing the [Caboolture - Centenary Lakes Park](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/9c0d34cf-53ca-4489-8daf-9b64d9ef7e7a) Adventure Lab. We finished our half-day excursion with a hike up Saddleback Mountain / Mount Elimbah, which was a pleasant and scenic walk.
In the afternoon, I took a drive to Mitchelton's [Secret Santa Picnic - Community Celebration Event](https://coord.info/GC8K08T), and then visited a few geocaches around Ferny Grove, of which I had been meaning to return to after not having the correct TOTT when we walked [I'm Hooked on Geocaching](https://coord.info/GC38CEN).
I wasn't particularly sure how to best approach this cache, but opted for the across-the-road park, and a more of a direct approach from the road. Like others had mentioned, the small cutting perhaps for a railway was interesting, and one of the quirks of the history here. I soon arrived at GZ, and then spent some time searching around making loops (perhaps around 10 min), wondering what I was searching for. There was a fair amount of growth, but thankfully I managed to spot something peculiar through the weeds, that was consistent with this geocache's theme. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks K8'n'Co. for the cache placement, and 1MinnieMoo for its ongoing maintenance. It was also nice to have found this cache with 392 days [12.9 months / 1.07 years] of unfound love since its last find on 13/11/2021.

Met up with grannysmith1947 to do a few caches in this local area and we were very surprised by such good quality and assortment of cache containers on offer.
Great puzzle and a terrific hide, love the camouflage and a favourite point from me.

Another fun catch/cache up with the Domsky Dou. There was meant to be a Community event today but was cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions. We had a very enjoyable day still, lots of people out and about, the weather was perfect! Beautiful blue skies, not hot, not cold either and of course wonderful company! We collected 17 caches and a tick as a bonus!
Thanks for the cache and taking us here K8'n'Co. and 1MinnieMoo.

Out chasing some target caches today this was one of those
Well best plans always don’t work out. This was supposed to be a quick walk in grab and walk out. It would have been if my coordinates were correct spent 20 minutes searching in some area then thought put the phone away and just look No luck hmm paf. Got the same coordinates as he had got a description of where I should have been which is where I was now hmm he then paf lol and got me a new set of coordinates I was out by .006 10 metres away from where I was standing really. A quick look around and there she is. Log signed all replaced and I’m onto the next appointment.
I tried to convey my thanks to the CO but the line was disconnected oh well hope she sees this. Lol
Thanks for the cache and the puzzle it was a good one and one off my target list.

I noticed that this geocache hadn’t had any loving in over a year Well that’s no good, I should do something about that!
So I communicated with 1MinnieMoo and found out she was keen to check on her newly adopted caches.
After a short huff and puff up the hill we were close to GZ. 1MM was convinced we should be looking over that way but I spied something just in front of me. Do you think it could be that 1MM? Haha! Glad to help the new CO out and remind her where her cache is
I plonked my butt next to the very funky container and picked up the receiver.... Which 1MM then asked. “Who you gonna call?”. Of course, Ghostbusters! Which in hindsight was probably a great answer as it may have saved me from the massive heart attack I nearly had when the scary pencil cache guardian slid out and spooked me.
I guess you had to be there, but it was a hilarious end to our caching afternoon.

It took a long time for the penny to drop with this puzzle but I eventually figured it out. It has been sitting in my solved list for a while now and I almost came to find it a while ago but the climb up the hill and lack of parking options put me off. Today was to be the day to collect it though. I parked in a spot that I thought would be okay for at least a short time and headed up. I was surprised to see the cutting nearby which I assume was an old railway line. When I got to GZ, I spotted it straight away and quickly had the cache in hand.

Tuesday. Had this one solved ages ago, and able to collect today whilst in the area collecting a few other solved puzzle caches. Extremely hot today and probably not the sort of day to be out caching, but since I was on my own, it seemed a good idea... Walked up past so much rubbish - various old fridges, washing machines, countless broken glass bottles and foam. Seems to be a paradise for people to dump stuff which is really annoying. Found the cache in short order after I found a spot to park the geomobile. Love this cache container! Log book signed and replaced Wish I could do a CITO on the way back to the car, but I don't think even a trailer would be enough here.
This was the 4th of 4 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***K8'n'Co.***, for showing us this place.

This morning gave me the opportunity to nab a few solved puzzles that have been piling up, as well as a chance to revisit some previously attempted caches and avenge my prior DNFs.
After wandering up the hill past what can only be described as some sort of a burial ground for whitegoods, I stopped where the GPS said GZ should be, but curiously found very little.
A short search later I found the clever container and knew just where to find the log. I liked that it was tethered to the tree using the inbuilt "tether" already attached .
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache **K8'n'Co.**.

Bear0503 and i looked at this puzzle so many times and really had no idea what to do then one day i noticed something and wondered what if i do this and yes next thing we had a nice set of coords. What a clever puzzle. Today bear0503, sharpem and i were out collecting solved puzzles and this was our first stop . We found a park fairly close and it was a little walk to gz. Fantastic cache. Thankyou for placing this cache here for us to enjoy. Will add fp when i get one to give

Having attempted finding another puzzle by this CO in the rain at the start of today's adventures, and failing due to recent works, it was only fitting that we ended the day grabbing another of his solved puzzles too. Funnily enough, I drive past this spot regularly courtesy of my eldest child and his girlfriend, and therefore thought I had grabbed the caches near here, but of course that was before I had solved this one, and upon solving I had put it aside to grab another day and not really looked at where those final coords ended up.
But today, out with wombles and co, we were nearing the end of our adventures and I looked at my map, and decided we weren't going to be going to far from this cache on our return journey so we should perhaps grab this one too. Knowing the area though, I had two ideas of where to park the car, and we opted for the safest on closest to the cache.... yet funnily enough still so far away at the same time. But it's its it's just over THERE!!!! Cursing the CO as we went for the fact we had to get over and up here, we soon made our find, and decided we would Communi-K8 a few thoughts his way. Perhaps calling him now to tell him though might be a little harsh. Time to sign the log and hang up that idea rather than being hung up on revenge, and head back to the car which is just.... over there!
Funnily enough I often not a certain other feature here as I go past too, and today we got a much closer look (although it is in a "dormant" phase at the moment).
Thanks for the cache K8'n'Co..

Out caching with 1Minniemoo on this wet Sunday.
There?? really? it's there? Are you sure??
So, let's try to make this easier. More spiderwebs and other obstacles like big sticks to trip over but better then the other choice.
The cache and log book were an easy find, once we got there. Only 75m back to the car but I think we'll take the longer way thanks.

Well as I drove the car towards GZ, it quickly became obvious where I would be headed to find this cache. The only problem was trying to locate a suitable parking and access point. With that sorted I headed to GZ where the cache was promptly located. Feeling peckish I decided to celebrate my find by ringing for a pizza but it appears that phone reception here is pretty dodgy and I couldn't even get a dial tone. TFTC
staying in the local area and decided to pick up a few local caches and solved puzzles.

Went for a trip around the world trying to find a parking spot for this one! we came up with an idea that landed us not too far from GZ! it was a fun little walk up
Arrived at GZ and had a giggle at the cache! I remember these
I had a feeling I knew where the log would be hiding and found it quickly... very clever indeed! A FP to follow for a unique little puzzle, and a very clever cache

TheHinds_xo brought the 4WD and she was determined to use it . Fortunately the sensible one prevailed and we soon found a closeish park and a quick scramble up the hill ("is this the longest 100 metres ever ?!" Revealed a very clever geocache. We had quite a bit of fun taking turns with it before haunting down the hill and back to the car tftc
Out on my own today as the rest of team nelta is busy with school and work.
Parked at a nearby park and headed up the hill. Boy is it getting hot. Found a trail to follow and was disappointed by the amount of rubbish I saw. Way too much to take with me: a matress, kids ride on toys, boxes, lots of smashed glass. (I have reported it to council). The further I walked, the more rubbish I saw and the more convinced I was that the cache would be gone. But shortly after arriving at GZ, cache was spotted. Put a smile on my face. My aunty had one of those and we thought it was very modern!
Signed the log, replaced it and had to take a photo to show the junior members of team nelta - they've never seen one like that before. TFTC.

Today was the day to collect some mysteries. Thanks to the CO for a small hint. Last time we drove past and were not sure if this is the right spot or not but finally after parking safely at a closed gate and a 150m walk we found the 'container' quickly.

With the co-ords to this puzzle at hand this morning was the opportunity to make it a smiley as I was driving past with Selva Girls. We parked near gz and a short walk later found the perfect container to hold this log. Very cool! Tftc and the puzzle K8'n'Co.
This morning I had a circuit walk at Camp Mountain in my sights to stretch the legs and make up the numbers for a planned mini milestone hike tomorrow. On the way, I noticed a long since solved K8nCo puzzle. I don't get out this way often and it would be rude to drive past without calling in.
It was quiet hot and to be honest I was almost surprised I didn't se a snake here. Cache was found quickly. I remember when this exact model came in - so much quicker to dial with the tone rather than the pulse.
Many thanks K8nCo.

We were out caching today along with catscascats22 and I remembered solving this one many years ago. Realising that we were finally on the north side, we had to make the detour to finally make this puzzle cache found I can safely say that this was one of the first few puzzles that we ever solved, and actually really enjoyed giving it a crack! So today we pulled up nearby, and began the walk to GZ... We were soon at GZ, and began the search when we spotted something a little different Excellent!! We added our names to the logbook, and headed back to the car to grab a few more for today [^]

Out caching for the day with angloj and Eskies5. Eskies5 was almost certain of where she need to park for this one and all we needed to do was cover the distance to the final. A nice easy walk and the hide was easily spotted. Great hide and TFTC K8'n'co
All the Eskies were in the area a few weeks ago but we overshot where we thought we needed to park and decided to keep going as our "to do" list was pretty long. Mrs E back down today from Toowoomba with Kestal and Angloj chasing odd caches to fill challenges and signing challenge logs. This one made the list because I needed one last cache to complete the Know Your Local Hider Challenge...which I did in the presence of that CO.
Didn't miss the parking spot this time and wandered on up and had a giggle when we saw the hide...thanks K8'n'Co for placing different types and helping me complete the challenge .

An early morning start from Toowoomba with kestal and Eskies5. We arrived and went for the walk to find the cache. Up the track and there it is! Very cool cache. A favourite from me
Solved this one a while ago and looking for an easy grab close to home I decided today was the day to grab it.
Silly me, this is a K8 cache - of course it's not going to be a quick and easy grab! I drove past it 3 times sussing out just where it was and where I could park and then phoned a friend to make sure I actually had the coordinates right! Having been assured that yes, I was in the right place, I drove back up the street a 4th time, found a place to park (well, kind of, it wasn't actually a parking place but my car was far enough off the road enough for a short time).
The terrain was easy to walk in some places and not very pleasant in others and sometimes made me feel extremely conspicuous! Eventually though I got close to GZ and spotted the cache as I approached. I knew just what to do with it, signed the log, phoned home to let them know it was found and replaced it ready for the next finder.

I had solved this one a while ago - whilst solving another of the CO's puzzles. Today was in the area, We started in the obvious spots but then spread out a bit. Hmm, this looks like something could be amiss here, and its very appropriately cammoed. Like it. See a few hides similar to this of late. TFTC

Another Puzzle I had solved a while ago. First time I tried to find the cache, I tried to approach the GZ from a different direction, only to find it blocked. Mentioned this at an event I attended a while ago. There, I was told that that was not the way to access the cache. I showed them the coords I had and was told that they were wrong....even though I had entered them correctly. The Co was contacted by the cacher I was speaking with. Shortly later, the Co updated the coords for the final. Today was the day to have another attempt. Pulled up nearby and walked up the hill to GZ. Once I was in the right place, the cache was easy to find I loved the cache container. TFTC
Finally got around to looking for this one, gr8t little multi the cache is certainly about the name TFTC k8nco
Going on someone else's hints....going to have to start from scratch as we ended up in a strange place for a cache

A very nice little puzzle that I solved some time ago, and somehow just never made it around to pick this one up, even thought I have passed by many many times. I blame poor communiK8ion skills. The method required for solving this is not one that i use at all (I am an old time Fuddy Duddy), so this was the first for me.
Today I drove as close as I could and hoofed it up the hill, testing out the new stent in my heart! Made it without a problem, and I just wanted to call and let you know I was ok!
Another great puzzle form the K8nCo clan. Thanks so much!

After solving this one by jet ski etc some months back, I suddenly discovered today how to 'really' solve it. D'oh! At least my conscience is now clear...
This was one of those pesky caches that has been standing out as a ‘not found’ on my map of 30 closest to home for a while. You know the ones that taunt you and tease you..
After reading and re-reading the description and hint I was getting nowhere. Well, what do you do next? Try the Logs…
Ahhh, all the tasty details are there to be found. I have lived in the local area for a few years now and know enough about what roads have been closed and when.
I noted specifics about high points and locked gates and I could even pull together enough info to know exactly what the cache container would look like and how to get to the log. This was more than enough to get me started. I took the pup for a bit of a walk up a road I thought might be correct and we stumbled across familiar detail after familiar detail which made it clear to me that I was in the right spot. Unfortunately near enough wasn’t good enough at this stage.
I left it at that for a couple of weeks but studied the logs a bit more closely in my spare time. I even made a few more attempts at actually solving the puzzle to no avail.
I had some spare time on a day off and though why not go take another look at this location. Off we went (Pup and myself) parking down the hill and walking up past all the points of interest noted in the logs to the sumit.
The Geotrail seemed pretty clear so we followed it along and must have stepped straight over the cache at one point but after circling back to the high point of the trail I found what we were looking for. Exactly as I had pictured it… soggy notebook and all.
Signed it and returned it with a twinge of guilt. Found the cache but didn’t have a clue on solving the puzzle. I hope that’s kosher. TFTC

TFTC
After my bad experience here last time (slipping and pulling some thigh muscles that made me limp for a week plus), I returned with some trepidation but wanted to make the find before attending an Event at Paddington tonight.
Admittedly, I still only had the South coordinates in my possession, but I was pretty confident I had been in the right place last time after putting lots of bits of evidence together. This time I started from the western end and tried to stick to the line of latitude as much as possible. At one point I encountered a very unusual setup which looked very K8-ish but I think it is some kind of rain gauge or official looking experiment, so I left it alone. After wandering up and down a fair way, I renewed acquaintance with lots of bits of dumped rubbish from last time, but found no cache. I decided to go back to the car and try somewhere further away.
After arriving in what seemed a very promising high spot elsewhere, I took a good look around and almost immediately spotted something which made a lot of sense... but was back near my original GZ. So back I went, determined to have a better go.
After more bashing through long grass and looking at all the 'normal' spots, I decided it was time for a very rare PAF and thankfully Dr KUW was able to come to the rescue. As expected, I was only a few metres from the cache and had walked past it and probably over it more than once. The log is just a little damp but still OK to write on.
TFTC and all the fun: the moral here is to try harder to solve puzzles properly before charging in to tricky terrain.

Out on the trail of the blue question mark again today. This is another one that has been in the solved pile for quite some time. A short stroll to Gz and then a big hunt for this one. The co-ords were pretty good, just struggled with the long grass
Had a lot of fun solving this one quite some time back and came today to find it as part of our dash to get our 100th puzzle cache. This was number 99!
Firstly we drove straight past GZ so had to turn around and head back. Found somewhere to park and headed along a path. Apparently this was the wrong path, so headed back and around the other way. After a bit of a look around I saw something hidden and realised I had found a very clever camo.
Thanks K8'n'Co for a fun puzzle and great cache - all is good with the cache

Another puzzle moved from one folder to the other.
Heading to GZ and watching the metres count down, we got close and I started to think, "It can't be this easy, can it...it's a K8'n'Co"
Of course not, now where do I park. Finally found a handy spot and set off. Without saying too much so as not to give anything away, it seem we were on the wrong side and after spotting workers ahead did a double take and got back to where we needed.
Now following a geotrail, I soon spotted the container. Now to find the log. Well I've seen enough spy movies to have an idea and it seems we were right.
Log signed, cache replaced.

Second of the day out with Greatjustgreat. Solved a while ago, but finally had time being Father's Day and all. Clever hide. Appropriate location. Tftc.
...but don't worry because I'm sure it'll be there. I decided to try my psychic / brute force skills here by charging up to my predicted GZ, but with only the half the coords in hand, I realised too late I wasn't sure if I had the S or the E. I looked around where I could, and must have been close. I seized an old air cooler but soon decided that wasn't it. On the way down (the long way), I managed to lose my footing right at the end, and I think I've perhaps damaged a quad muscle or similar: ouch! I'll be back to get my revenge once I can walk again...
Was out on a last blast for the weekend run to try to find a couple of caches. I had stumbled across a solution to this puzzle while figuring out a different problem and had put it away on my solved list waiting for a time when I would be up this way.
I was looking forward to this one not only because we all love K8'n'Co caches, but also because it was just off the road. Yes, lazy old me was looking for a quick fix.
Not all 30 meters are born equal. [B)]
I am recalling 30 meters on Mosquito Island (mostly unavoidable) and another 30 meters of swamp in Seventeen Miles Rocks (completely avoidable). So this wasn't really so bad in comparison. Being bold I went the direct route up from the road and that was fun! Ah doing mildly silly things is why we cache right
All good at GZ and after signing up I decided my geo-crocs weren't ideal for coming down the way I came up so I took the long (sensible) route back to the car. Well that woke me up and I was all ready for the next one.
Thanks for the cache guys. I'm glad it took longer than planned, it helped remind me why I like this game!

Having solved this puzzle a while ago, we were glad to see that the roadworks were finally completed and we were able to head out and find the final prize .
We parked nearby and headed up the hill rather carefully after the snake scare we had just had at another cache nearby . After a bit of a scramble we spotted the very apt container and signed the logbook. A definite favourite from us. TNLNSL TFTC .

Out and about in Keperra and picking up a few puzzles.
Worked out the coordinates while doing another puzzle.
Short walk to GZ.

Once we found out the right side of the fence to be on, we made our way to GZ and quickly found the cache Somehow, I thought it might be something like this Nice cache container - fits in well with the puzzle. Another great cache K8'n'Co. TFTC.
We worked out the coordinates for this puzzle a while back but was never in the area to find it. Today we were in the area to collect a few other caches so thought we find this one too.
Quick & easy find i.e. coordinates were spot on . LOL about the cache container . Love it . All is good with the cache . Found with Matt_Eth . TFTH K8'n'Co. .

Worked out the puzzle ages ago and thought you've got to be pretty addicted to geocaching to go there. I have thought many times more than twice about going near gz. Well, I have since gone to some interesting places to get a smiley.
Glad to see that there is no need to go inside any fenced area, and sure glad the ground didn't shake whilst I was there.
Ants have moved into part of the cache container. They made locating the log a bit (more) of a challenge. Fortunately they are not the biting type and not in the part where the log is. It wouldn't surprise anyone that the log is wet given the weather we have had lately.

Went to find this one today, but the road to GZ is out of action, so we couldn't get anywhere near it.
Have had this on our to do list for awhile now, but finally we were in the area again and decided to grab it. The puzzle took us ages to work out but finding the lovely creative cache not too long once we worked out where to park and where to enter. Loved the cache container, lady membsec giggled when she saw it.
Well done again K8'n'Co.

Out with MrMecanno & Ghostgums today for a bit of a ramble..
You have a devious mind Mr CO..
Took me a bit of effort & a PAF or 3 to manage to get my head around this but eventually sorted the relevant details
A quick additional snatch for me today

jasenjanine worked out the coords for this and as we were all heading in the direction of home, we tagged along (thanks Jase and Janine)
The boys headed off for this while we stayed back at the car with the kids. Not long and they were back informing us of yet another great cache by K8'n'Co
Next time we are in the area, I will make sure I go for a peek. Thanks K8'n'Co

We headed towards this one earlier in the day but at present the road is only open to one way traffic So checking out our GPSr we worked out how to approach from the other direction It took us some time to get to GZ as we found a few more icons on the way Pulling up close to GZ Jase and Mr Parko darted of into the bush to find the cache.
As it was getting late in the day, the kids had had enough and it was time to go home. Thanks for another great puzzle and cache K8'n'Co Can't wait to be back soon to find some more [^]

IolantheK final worked out the co-ords for this.
So because it wasn't too far we went on the treadlies. We worked our way round a rather large obstruction introduced by the council and then made out way to GZ. Found the cache, signed the log and got outa there.
Cache was dry and in good order.
Thanks for the cache K8'n'Co. [^]

I am such a happy cacher right now
It's taken me ages to work out how to solve this puzzle, and I made it way too difficult by over-analysing it, but a hint dropped a few days ago made me take a different look. A little more dedicated research gave the co-ords, and T-Tech and I took a bike ride this afternoon. We found the perfect container (and I haven't see one of those in a long time ), and in true K8'n'Co style there was another little puzzle to extract the log, which T-Tech guessed straightaway. TFTC, yet again, Mr Co.

Found @ 10:59 on 09/03/2012. This was my 4th find of 27 total finds on my birthday today.
Solved this one so long ago I can barely remember what I had to do - it's been sitting in gsak for yonks. I do recall now, yes very clever sir and ma'am.
Arrived at GZ today as I was in the area, and followed the telegraph lines. Once I got to GZ I had to think for a while how to get to the logbook. Almost had to PAF, but I worked it out (he he, in-joke). Very clever. Another impressive piece of work all round. THanks guys.

Worked out the riddle after 15 minutes of head scratching, but unfortunately could not find the cache. TFTH
at 13:40. I originally placed this comment in the wrong cache log. We had half of this one months ago. When I tried again recently I got the same half and only subsequently got the other half after a hint.
It was a bit of a struggle up to the cache, particularly as we didn't find the sensible way in.
TFTC K8'n'Co. The cache is fine but we were disappointed at how modern it is. It had buttons.

Hehe, I feel like I've jumped through hoops for this one! Given the theme of the cache, it would have been a heap easier if I'd actually remembered to take my personal communicator with me on my first attempt. I'm now using said communicator to log my find online.
I've driven past the spot thousands of times over the last 10 years and always intended to investigate it but never made a point of doing so. Now I know what's here and get to sign off another log. TFTC K8 =)

I must admit to getting a few prods along the way.
I finally had a set of coordinates which led me to a likely spot.
I found the cache easily. I remember this type of apparatus well. Getting the log book took a few minutes. Luckily I didn't need the sledgehammer.
Thanks for another interesting puzzle and also an interesting location. I would like to hear a bit of it's history.

Having never tried a puzzle quiz of this sort (and it is the closest to home) I tried working this one out. First set of co-ords - so wrong it is not worth mentioning. Second set got me near the marked area but no luck. Finally frustration set in and I left it for awhile.
A month or so later I get some advice from a few of the more experienced puzzle solvers in SEQld I ended up with another set of Co-ords and off I went AGAIN to find this cache. And I found it !! Woo Hoo. but do think I could find the log book...aaarrrgggg...I have a swiss army knife on me, no worries, I'll find that bloody logbook.
Then I heard a pencil inside. O that's where the log book is. All done and dusted. I'm now having a recovery drink to let the brain rest and the head wounds heal from banging it against the wall.
Then I'll start another tomorrow. lol
After therapy I might be able to say,'thanks for the journey'. K8'n'Co lol

We had found this an easy puzzle to solve, we just needed to make the effort to to be in the right locality to make a search for the cache. It was an easy trek to GZ with modelbears, Gunnie69 and GhostGums and communication on the day was up to par. TFTC K8'n'Co
It took a few reads of the cache before the solution came to hand. Quite clever use of the communication tools.
Always found the cache container quite amusing as well!

I was a bit slow on the uptake for this puzzle and needed a hint to guide me in the right direction. Really... did I miss that...
Final coords on hand, I made my way to GZ with a hand full of puzzle solving guru's. Once there, I spotted the container immediately but, I had another slow moment... I failed to communicate again and this time couldn't find the log... That was until Just A Trifle suggested I try "in there"... HEY, there it is...
Handed it round, tucked it back in, the headed off in search of the next cache... [^]
Cheers K8'n'Co.

Puzzle solved with a little help from a previous finders. Learnt about a few methods of communication we don't normally use. Went out to find the cache this morning. Came across a locked gate - do you think 4 padlocks would be enough to discourage visitors. Looked around and saw a path travelling the outside of the fence. Followed it to reach GZ. We are old enough to remember using versions of the cache container and even older versions. Loved the cache container, enjoyed the puzzle (in the end) and the stroll to GZ. Thanks once again for a great cahce.
This one's been sitting in my "Puzzles Solved" folder for some time now, and today seemed a good day to go and see if I could touch base . Clambered toward GZ, grinned at teh top of the hill, and grinned more broadly once I found the cache. Was tempted to call someone to announce my find but the signal was a bit weak, so I just signed the log instead. Actaully, I didn't really sign it, I more kind of scratched my name in the wet paper. And drew a cat for good measure. That log's going to need some serious TLC, though. TFTC! =^.^=
I struggled with this one for a bit- The the penny dropped- actually more like slapped me in the face while I was chatting to a friend on Face Book!
Anyway- I went for a stroll. I did a 'knowing" nod at the location & had a giggle when I found the cache.
I remember when we first got one like this. It was hugely exciting!!!
I knew straight away where the log would be .
Log was pretty damp. "just " signable.I put it in the little baggy I had.
Thanks!

It took a while for the penny to drop on how to find this cache
When I did discover the method, I got a new insight into the vast caverns of the cache hider's mind [:o]
Er .. Yeah..... OK !!...... I'll just hang up now
Click...Brrrrrrrr..........
Another day, another cache chase and I had a set of coordinates to head for
The pushbike got me close, but a bit of legwork seemed to be needed to get the last hundred metres or so.
I poked around for the cache as the GPS led me in circles for a while.
"Hold the phone !!", there it is
Those cachers unfortunate enough to be born after 1985 may need to do some 'Googling' to work out what it is they have found and how to operate it

Solved the puzzle quickly - I'm good-er at this communi-k8-ion stuff . Took the hard way in to GZ I think but spotted the cache very quickly and we soon had the logbook in hand. Thanks K8'n'Co.
Found today with Mrs Lat&Long on our way to the "Rebellious Brunch" event. Certainly a mix of old and new technology up there. TN/LN/SL
This was cache # 7 of 23 for the day, on a great day out caching around the hills. another puzzle that has been in my solved pile since the day it came out, it was good to finally find the cache, I have seen a hide like this inside a museum down in Victoria. My thanks to K8'n'Co. for the cache.
Found with Bedmaker. Nice walk to GZ to quickly find the cache. Very unusual container. Always a lot of fun finding your caches K8'n'Co. TFTC
We really are in an ever increasing technological world as this little puzzle taught us.
A short walk was enjoyed by us this morning on the way to GZ where we found what we seeked.
Thought I might have been able to 'phone home' but just like today's devices this one had no service.

After sorting out the puzzle, I decided to head to GZ this morning. After a bit of a hike I came up on GZ to find the excellent cache container. Well done K8'n'Co. It was a bit exposed so I re-covered it up. TFTC
After some long distance examination I eventually had solution running out for this puzzle.
The answer lies way back in caching 101. Try all the options, seek help from others and go back to step 6. Oh why did I not try step 2 in the first place.
Communication consists of transmitting information from one person to another, it is about "who says what to whom in what channel with what effect." This theory holds true even for this cache.

My first computer, a Commodore 16 (with a whopping 16kb of RAM) that connected to the back of a TV and accepted stored commands from a cassette thingo, had no trouble communicating "Syntax Error" to me very often. After learning just enough BASIC v3.5 to scrape by, making pretty pictures and sounds and cool stuff with program lines, was a hoot. 'Twas high tech (for me) at the time though totally useless for communications as we know it.
With a nearby cache helping to fill a blank, the new GPSr took me and geodog almost straight to Communi-K8 this afternoon (and not one "Syntax Error"!)
SL. No swaps but took Geocoin. Resealed the ziplock. Thanks for the trip K8nCo.

Dropped in to find this one with DisSister. Glad there was still a bit of daylight left to negotiate the track we took. TFTC
It didn't take long to figure this one out. Does that say something about me? We dropped in on our way from the Samford Show leaving Mr DisSister in the car with the sleeping children. It's a pity the geokids didn't come with me. They've never seen a device like this one. Dropped in a geocoin. TFTC
Not sure how I missed seeing this one come online when I was there, oh well another in the solved pile for my return visit in november.
Another very pleasurable cache from MrK8.
I particularly enjoyed using the latest means of communication
to help locate the correct coords.
The cache is very clever..........many thanks.

I was going to call from gz.......unfortunately my phone card didnt work in such antiquated device. I had to make do with the old fashioned pen and paper....and no...I didnt enclose a $1 either
