It would appear that CO is no longer active.

I noticed that this cache has been temporarily disabled for a period of time well in excess of the period of "a few weeks" as contemplated by the cache guidelines published on Geocaching.com. Working in Levin and having to expand my radius of caching as I have cleaned up all the local caches in Levin township, took a drive out to Ohau area and was rewarded with some great caches and a nice evening drive.
A nice walk through the fields to GZ. Cache easily found but as per last logs the log book is missing and the bag is soaked.
Will need some maintenance.
Have attached photo as proof of find.

Three of us had planned a day out geocaching in the Horowhenua area today. Alas, one of the party members had a late withdrawal, so there was just two of us. It was a great day in the end. The weather was hot, we even had a few spots of rain trying to cool us down at one stage. I ended up finding about 45 caches with one DNF.
Parked on the main road and darted over to find this one. I took the wrong entry into the trees and had to bush-bash for a bit. I popped out at the train tracks to make it easier for my GPS to lock on. Found the cache easy enough. But the cache contents is ruined. Couldn't find anything dry enough to write on so took a photo as proof (to be uploaded soon). I managed to find a quicker way back to the road via the sports field.
Thanks for the cache and the smiley. Found with Tommygun9.

There is no log book in the cache to sign and what is in the cache is soaked. CO to check on this please.
Drive past here a lot but never visited. Easy find on nice day. Everything soaked. No log book. TFTC.
Found with Owhiro Ray - as noted by others log soggy therefore unable to sign it.
Found the cache but everything in it was floating in water, and all is a sopping slimy mess. Couldn't even see a log.. TFTC
An afternoon on geocaching with Princess-Emilly on a lovely sunny Christmas Eve.
Cache container and contents were scattered. Log gone and cache wet. Dried out as best we could and returned to likely hiding place but needs maintenance.

As stated in my found log the log book is saturated and becoming a block of paper pulp.
Our last cache on today's long mission that was primarily about knocking off the Zealandia loop in Wellington. We probably approached this one from the worst possibly angle but finding it wasn't hard as a result.
The log was saturated so it'll need a little CO attention.
The log was saturated so it'll need a little CO attention.
A plan was hatched a while ago to make a road trip down to Wellington to do the Zealandia Power Trail. Original cast members were to be spud n z, hunter hillson, tommy gun 9 and capperz. Alas other things came up so today's trip was only attended by the resolute tommy gun 9 and capperz and a weather bomb was looming but no worry, the caching must go on. Leaving Palmy at 0 5 3 0 was the plan to avoid any heavy Welly traffic and the ploy was wise. It was quite difficult to ignore all those unfound caches between Palmy and Welly but needs must when a power trail and some decent terrain is involved. At the end of the day we'd stayed mostly dry and no mis haps to report, so a successful trip all round with good company.
Coming off the track after over five hours of caching it was time for a few pre selected caches to finish the day off.
Another Ohau cache completed and s smiley face in its place
This one needs some T L C, log book to wet to write on. Train passed just moments prior to find so cool
Last of the day and what a day it's been.

#1027 Out on a mish to Kimbolton with Nic-Jay and collecting some caches on the way there and back. Easily found but the logbook was totally gone. Covered with mould and in desperate need of maintenance. Didn't sign log but photo attached as proof of find. TFTC, lovely park.
Out on a road trip collecting caches on the way to and from an event in Kimbolton with Skaga. The log book was rather wet and impossible to sign. Took a photo as evidence of the find.
We found it alright but were unable to sign it because the logbook is beyond use. There seemed little point leaving another bit of paper to be reduced to an equally pulpy mess and we didn't think to take a photo to post, so we'll just come back once it's been sorted out and log it then. Cheers!
Every cache I have visited today has had log book issues or water issues, in this case both. Contents of cache were completely water logged, container was full to the top of water. Drained as well as I could but unable to do much. Unable to sign log book as it is soaked to the point of disintegrating. See attached image.

Logbook and whole cache absolutely soaking wet. Needs maintenance and new dry log please
Searched through the trees, got covered in pine needles and bugs then just as we were about to give up it was found! Couldn't sign our names though as cache soaking wet inside out and logbook is one dripping mess. Also no tbs in here. But, stoked we found this as this is my 100th cache! Tftc
Found this one after a bit of searching with StefTheVet. As the logbook was just a wet clump of paper we took a photo which we can email to the owner if wanted. TFTC! And thanks for showing us this lovely Reserve
Tripping sth. Approached from over the railway line. Had to triangulate because of the trees. TFTC
I was initially poking my head into the trees then another angle provided the answer. TFTC
Big burst of rain just as we started looking and not the day for crawling around under wet trees. Maybe needs another attempt on a better day.
came out of this with twigs all over me because I was digging around , and my 7 year old found it and there was no need to get covered at all . pretty sure this was damp may need to check in on it
An easy find due to the container being out in the open. Must've been like that for a while as the cache container was half full of water. Needless to say everything looked pretty sad and wet. I emptied the water out and placed everything back in the container and re-hid. CO might wanna pay this one a visit and give it some TLC.
Plenty of rabbits [:o] out and about this afternoon.

A nice little walk over the oval to thiis gz. Once there this is one of those caches I love. A very quick find. After finding the cache we went and had something at the yummy nearby cafe. After that we was that the oval was being used by the nearby school. We were lucky to get this cache when we could TFTC
Found it bit of a fluke as I don't have a GPS and had just a general idea of where it might be. TNLNSL. Thanks for the cache!

3 day weekend? I like the sound of that! What's even better? 3 DAYS OF CACHING!!!

Nice quick find once the GPSr settled down on wheere it wanted us to go.
#7 for the day, 64 total for the weekend with a total of 1250 kms.

Quick find today when we reached the spot. No one around on a quiet Saturday morning.TFTC
Found with Morgan Ed. Had a marching comp here today, we were worried about it being too muggly, but we blended in with our " rapid direction changing GPS strut ". In fact we got second place in the amateur division! TFTC
Marching comps here today, pretended to be practicing our march but think they still wondered why we marched off in the bush. No no hanky panky happening here
Nice evening, couple of muggles walking dogs! Looks like this ones been here a while!

Cache #765 - first of 16 on the day, done with Crystal Fairy, Violet Butterfly and MycroMan. Nice spot. Added two TBs, and took two small toys. TFTC!
First cache of the day. Lovely walk to the cache even though Mycro Man wanted to go play across the road at the fete going on. Did on the way to the 10/11/12 event in Palmy with Wandering Dragons, Violet Butterfly and Mycro Man
Another one of those places you fly past without seeing anything. After this little walk I see there is a lot more to the township than what I thought. TFTC
A very inviting-looking cafe on the corner; we may just have to call in there next time we are passing. n
thanks for the cache.
thanks for the cache.
Well it's raining and it's dark, we're here with head lamps on and caching, what else would we rather be doing. ,.. Signing logs. Greeting from Australia. TFTC
Last one for the day. Will find some more in Levin tomorrow. Found with J+J.au on our NZ caching/holiday. Greetings from Australia SL..TFTC
With gps batteries running out it was a mad rush to find the cache. Had us searching the wrong tree for about five minutes before we accidentally stumbled on the cache. TFTC
glad the trains are moving to fast here or they might muggle you.. photo for the TB before drop
Quick find at the far end of the park. Loved the log entry about the muggle who found this and liked the idea. Found with Lillianavess on a fill in the gaps tour of Horowhenua.
left a trail in the frost across, but sun was about to deal to that. signed log. thanks
A leisurely stroll across the domain on a sunny afternoon - what could be nicer! Soon had the target in hand and the log signed. TFTC
Found the cache on the ground in the open with some of the contents spread around on the ground. The last log in the log book was by someone who found it by accident but don't think it has been here long as the contents were all still dry. Packed it up and put it where we presume the hint meant it to be. TFTC
Been meaning to get this one for ages, but hadn't got around to it. Today took a creative shortcut through the trees (no - not over the railway lines), and found with no problem. TFTC
Made a brisk walk to the far end of Ohau Domain and instantly spotted the cache on arrival at GZ. Thanks.

Easy find in an empty park, on our way home from a few days geo caching in the Manawatu. SL TFTC.
Was with my mum on the afternoon of the "Gathering in Levin" so we only did a few. We got to this one as it was near where she used to live. A nice little spot.
A most enjoyable walk over a well-maintained domain. The cache is one of the best I have found - I was sure it would be very difficult. Signed log. Took nothing but left a hair slide.
Good fun and close to home. TFTC. Did the cache in rubbish out, filled it it a few minutes!
A nice quick find while heading south. Some of my very early cache finds were not far from here.
