Didnt find it! I think I searched every inch of the host but no luck finding it. Its possibly still there, but must be well hidden. TFTC!
Travelling with richlink as part of our Annual Caravan Geocaching Trip. We are doing a bit of sightseeing around the Barossa using geocaching as our guide. We have enjoyed the remarkable sceanery while cruising the country roads. We too made a quick find with the help of the hint. TFTC.
Having stopped opposite the Steingarten T junction for a Barossa Trail cache, I decided that today was the day to venture up this road for the first time. Light rain and limited views when I arrived at this hide, but it had cleared by the time that I had found and logged the cache. Glad of the hint here; I’m not good at small caches on big bits of machinery, although in this instance the cache isn’t that small. I’ve left the caches further up the road for another day.
Thanks for this cache SA_Parrothead.

I could hardly believe this. We finished the multi and decided to do one more. Driving up the road, we had a discussion as to whether this one was one we tried many years ago while walking the Stiengarten track.
As we pulled up to this one, the song, "You are my Sunshine" was playing on the radio. Really, couldn't believe it ( we do listen to cruise)
Anyway didn't take long and we had it in hand
Replaced the container so hopefully no more lodgers. Thanks SA Parrot head

It took me a few minutes to find it after I checked one of my caches. The lid is broken. Sorry, I did not have a spare lid. Great views.
Thanks SA_ParrotHead for the cache

Nice cache thanks. Found on a lovely walk around the Steingarten Trail. Logged as P & M.
Visiting from tassie and out for a geocaching day with gridge98 this cache was on our itinerary. Quickly found a beautiful spot! TFTC
After having lunch near by we headed up here, after a short search the cache was easily found
Today Nettieknows and I headed to Hale Conservation Park to complete the loop walk before going to the Barossa for lunch and collected a few caches on the way home. Total of 19 caches for the day.

Found during an enjoyable and eventful caching foray around the backroads of Nuriootpa after attending 'A 10th Geo Birthday and other Stuff' event. Thanks for the cache SA_ParrotHead!
Formerly Narrow Road, i used to come up here in the early 90's and take shots of the old Penrice soda products train, affectionately known as the "Penrice Stonie" that would depart from Penrice, east of Nuriootpa and end up at Port Adelaide.
Today the 'Sunshine'-th on me at GZ coz the cache was found in about 30 seconds, thanks to the handy hint

This morning, Freddo, Team Waldron, thewhitedoggang, and Trail06 joined forces to complete the new Anna Tommy geoart series. The puzzle series took a while and some were pretty finnicky, but in the end, my anatomy knowledge had improved. We then detoured through a few geocaches around Gawler like the Meat Trail series, before I met with jesswrigley, and we took a drive through the wine country through Lyndoch finding a few oldie geocaches, and enjoying some wine tasting. We ended up calling through Tanunda for a bakery lunch, before closing out our day with some small walks/hiking in Kaiserstuhl Conservation Park, finding one of South Australia's oldest caches *Barossa High* as well as a few other older caches. A nice day to be out and about before we start seeing serious COVID-19 travel restrictions take effect.
What a really cool old relic. Both jesswrigley and I were hunting around for a good five minutes, trying to decipher the hint comments, until jesswrigley made the find. The geocache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks SA_ParrotHead for the geocache placement, and ongoing maintenance efforts. A location well worth highlighting with a geocache!

A nice place for a hide, thanks for bringing us here, lovely views.
And thank you for the cache ParrotHead.

My Australia adventure continued today with a flight to Adelaide, where SA_ParrotHead showed me some great sights. Nice quick find here, thanks to being with the CO. TFTC!
Owl was out on a drive with Eagle and managed to persuade him to stop for caches along the way. This one made Owl's heart sink and the second part of the clue was incomprehensible, but the cache was out in the open, so not so hard to find after all.
TFTC SL Another great view across the Barossa valley. Thanks for bringing us here.
Re read Parrotheads hint and then it was an easy find. Needs maintenance, waterlogged book so couldn't log in the book.

This year I set myself 2 goals. First one is to have a minimum of 5 caches on each calendar day. Shouldn't be hard as I only have 14 days of caching to achieve this. This was one of those days so I enlisted the help of Anymules as we both had done the majority of the Jack Bobridge Trail and both wanted to get it completed. [^] Of course there is no way I was going to stop at just 5.
I went left, Anymules went right and found the cache. Once signed and replaced he then managed to drop the lid and we spent way more time retrieving that than we did finding the cache. A wonderful old harvester.
**Thanks SA_ParrotHead for this cache. **

A nice easy find. Then I dropped the lid. And it went inside. Back to the Brisalmobile to get a tool to retrieve it.

The cache name and the hint had us speculating before we got to GZ. Once there we cringed a little because of the potential hunt required. Thankfully the hint did make sense once we saw the object and a quick find was made. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks SA_Parrothead for the cache.
After spending the night in Nuriootpa I decided I would find a few caches on my way home...well maybe a little detour...
Found my sunshine here...
Yes the sun shone...it was nice being able to search for this cache in the shade of the nearby tree...
Found the cache then understood the hint...

Sorry a bit slow with the logging. Edvern and I here for the orienteering championships, and in a bit of spare time decided to do some local caches. Really enjoying the area. Nice old relic. TFTC
Here for the orienteering and a day off today. Found with Tramper Ted while enjoying a pleasant afternoon of wine tasting and geocaching. Enjoying the countryside around here too. This relic deserves a cache. Thanks and greetings from New Zealand.
Out with Aussie M & M for a day of caching, focused around an event in Nuri. Not too many found but some took us a little while to spot. Aussie Mary spotted this one.

Out NE from home looking for traditionals again. Started with some Jack around Rowland Flat then went even more country around the dirt roads to the east mainly around Krondorf. A pleasant afternoon with 21 finds but unfortunately finished with 2 DNFs.

"You are my sunshine" and the sun is shining beautifully today... such a lovely day to be out and about. Wasn't sure about driving through this area but after reading the cache info it seems it's okay... just shut the gates.
I haven't been bothered by muggles at all today and get to the final cache of the day to find a guy working just around the corner. Read the hint as a quick find and sign was in order but as he drove past I did the usual "look interested & take photos" pose and replaced once the coast was clear.

A fine and fun day it was to be out adding happy faces to my collection. Many thanks!
Got off the main road, to find some non PT cache like this one on the way home.
The Sunshine was hidden from view by bales produced by a newer model...
Found easily with the hint thank goodness.

After a small search and avoiding the grass seeds made the find after a few passes.
Out with Muggle sister, Nephew and Father with two geodogs in tow, A strong cool breeze did not stop the Snake searching for this cleverly hidden cache. Great views from this hidden structure. TFTC and bringing us here.
A few quick caches after a night shift, out in the Barossa with Jack.
A nice bright cache, sunny side up

Found on our way home from Nurioopta... exploring the back roads and earning a few more smilies :c) Such an interesting old piece of machinery. There were so many places the cache could hide here... and the hint soon made sense :cP TFTC!!
Clever placement. Missed it when we rode the Mawson 2 years ago. Very satisfying to get it this time. Worth the ride up the hill.
Mr Frog knows more about these than I do. It's a pity that it is outside and not in a museum

I could win an award for most caches found but not logged online. Please forgive this very generic log. If I admired your cache you'll get a favourite point from me and I'll likely come back and edit this log once I've caught up. If this generic log makes you unhappy - delete it. Life's too short to worry over it, I had fun finding your cache either way. Cheers!
The day started with meeting up with Semik and Locus Cache, piling into Harry and heading north!
First stop Nuri!! Was great, as always, to catch up with some Smiling Tomcats and talk for hours!!! Next stop was some lunch in Angaston to fuel up for our Girls Day Out Adventure!
From there, it was a fun and bouncy ride in Harry to part of the Five Oh Series before heading somewhere special for our 100th cache! We diverted slightly to take some photos of the dust storm swirling around the Barossa after the recent fires.
Semik took us to Stone Garden for our first major milestone and what a perfectly special place it was! Stunning views and so peaceful. It was awesome to share this with two awesome chicks

So what else do you do on a 40 degree day but go geocaching [?]
It actually started out as a trip to Australia Wide Badges with RailMax and SEMIK to get some geocaching goodies. Except then it morphed into getting RailMax to their 100th find and then after that milestone was achieved it became about getting them to 50 finds in a day
Many, many laughs were shared, Harry had a real caching run again after some enforced time off of the road, we braved massive dust storms, heat and rain and the day ended at almost midnight [^]
My total for the day was 7 caches
Yes, the song was sung on the way here, of course, and a reasonably quick find was made of the cache once I could get past SEMIK
We all exclaimed over the farming history and I wondered what the hint meant[?]
While at home logging and looking at pictures on the cache page...... the hint suddenly made sense!

Glad we knew to look at the hint first. On our way to Steingarten for the sunset. Love the old farm machinery. TFTC
Found It!
With a bit of help from the hint I soon put my hand on the cache. I do wonder if 100 years from now there will be caches hidden on what are currently modern harvesters...

The only sunshine was on the sign as I was at the GZ. A quick find after checking the clue. Thanks SA ParrotHead.
Great hide. Certainly needed the hint for this one, or would have never found it. TFTC.
Wow, on a second visit we found it straight away! Great spot and old machinery. We have just found dome other caches up the hill and nabbed this one. Tftc Parrothead
Very clever this found on our second attempt clue very good Amazing machinery thanks for the journey
We pored all over this gz but found nothing. Only half the clue meant anything to us alas so no help there. But it is an interesting artifact.
TFTC. Took me a few minutes to work out where it was. It didn't want to come out. I'll be back to collect the rest around here soon.
Great spot and Hide, even though it bit me on the head when I bent down, my fault...looking for the cache, not at where my head was going. still gets a fav point! TFTC
Nice spot and a nice hide. This one took us a few minutes to find. TFTC.
Cheers.

This cache was found while participating in the 2013 Outback Odyssey, a 900km mountain bike ride along the Mawson Trail from Adelaide to Blinman.
Even with some help from the CO I was ready to walk away empty handed until I tried one more option. A very well preserved piece of lod farm machinery.
Thanks for the cache SA ParrotHead.
