Staying at Paradise country and embracing our youth by visiting the theme parks, today was slipping and sliding down the water slides but we had some time to kill first so went caching. Looked around for a bit and then spotted it and with some manoeuvring and the cache in hand. The log book is just about full. Thanks Pigwig2Find #6653
A quick find and solve. Tftc slOn a caching holiday from Mackay. In the search of old caches and ones to fill DT grid spaces. Found TFTC SL Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment.
Out on the caching trail again with alphag_25. Going for some old caches today and some others local to those. Called in nearby for a FTF so grabbing this one also that we missed when we visited Outback Spectacular because of a storm
Had a delivery to do to the Gold Coast today so decided we could do some caching in the area. We had plenty to do on the coast but where to start. We headed to a closer unfound cache and worked around there. It was surprising just how many were unfound for the three of us. Caching with RoddyC Imbunda and dodging showers as we went.We were keen to get this on but No 1 mistake - parked on wrong side of the road - but at least it wasn't raining when we were crossing the road. My search took me to the wrong area but my GPS said I was 2.8 mtrs away. Lost a lot of time here. Made a PAF that directed us to the cache. Cache soon signed and we were on our way waiting for traffic again.TFTCache Pigwig2
Hubby & I were on our way home from a trip down the coast to look at a car & as we were driving right by this one had to stop. Cache was spied from the top & hubby headed down to do the signing. Thanks for the cache Pigwig2
I think the hardest part was spotting the cache- the phone wasn’t really playing well but thankfully I spotted it before I spent too long searching. From there all easy. TFTC!
This was a great find! Watch where you walk, it can be quite scratchy at times but it’s sooooo worth it! TFTC!
I had some target caches for today but they turned out to be both DNF’s. so not to be disheartened I found a couple others to fill the void. Not as pleasing but they still had their merits.
This one was as I was passing by. I parked on the very convenient piece of roadway and looked around. I spied the hide from where I was standing and thought its ok. I was dressed in my good caching thongs as Peppa calls them. This was an easy grab, thank you. I signed the log and return the cache as found, then continued on my way.

Quick search here and ... nothing. Well that can't be right. Broaden the search a little - ooh, what's that? Nice container. Thanks for the hide
Wasn’t sure about retrieving this one given the long grass in a rather unusual location but then I spotTed something out of place and sure enough it was the cache. Thanks
Interesting spot for a cache. Luckily we soon spotted something that probably doesn’t belong there. Miss 5 thought it was a cool cache. Thanks for the fun
Mrs Woodyrothwell and I were originally headed to a birthday party around this area but Covid got in the way. It wasn’t our Covid but the birthday girl and it was a real bummer. I thought Covid was a thing of the past like your mother-in-law thinks that discrimination and racism are a thing of the past until they open their mouths.
Side note: I was excited to use the word “past” in its correct context. I don’t want to be a self-appointed judge of the Queen’s English, but I get itchy when people say they “past” a corner, or the cars streamed “past” us. Actually after a few wines who gives a toss whether you use “past” or “passed” in a sentence. Just don’t be surprised if I ignore you at the next swingers convention.
We turned up a few visits late to see this cache in its prime. Someone has had too much fun moving it around and accessing the log was simple and we actually couldn’t see how it was done in the passed [sic]. We left it how we found it as we drove past [sic]. tftc

Picking up daughter from movieworld so had to grab some caches in the area. I know it’s Christmas time and I should have been thinking candy canes but I thought snorkel.
Not sure if there was meant to be a trick to extracting the log but it was quickly obtained. Replaced as found. TFTC Pigwig2

We headed down at Kirra beach for a few days to celebrate my birthday. On the way we stopped off at my sister-in-laws place for a cuppa before they move up to Yeppoon. This cache was just around the corner from their house and was a nice easy find.
Thanks!!

I parked close... I mean really close to this cache... and then took a quick stroll in to find this unique cache... tftc...
Nice quick find while holidaying in the area.
Parked close by and wandered over to GZ.
Once the cache was in hand, the log was signed and replaced as.

***COs- Still randomly catching up with my massive logging backlog going back quite a few years.??Logging on the day I visited your cache.Apologies for late log.***Came down here for the open day at the community garden at Ormeau. Had a lovely time there and came down to do this cache before heading home. All good here and even managed to find some toilet paper on the way, that being harder to find than a D5 cache at present!TFTC??
We’re up here from Melbourne staying at the nearby caravan park. A day where I booked the geo dog Agent Roxy into doggy daycare at the caravan park and left the hubby with the 3 geo kids in the pool for the day so I could go out caching on my own in peace without whinging and whining.
I found a suitable parking spot close to GZ and made the short walk down. I was surprised to see what I found here. Interesting. It took me a second to work out what I had to do here and had the logbook in hand shortly after. Although the log had some room on it, I added another new sheet to keep it going. It also needed a new plastic bag which I replaced.
Not much to see here but I found a nice little lonesome pretty purple tree/bush growing on the side of the road nearby.
I actually enjoyed the clever way this cache is set up and awarding a fav point for your efforts
Thank you for the cache here Pigwig2

Lucky my friend found it pretty quick, took longer trying to figure how to get the log out, signed and replaced TFTC!!
Out hunting for caches to complete our Mystery at the Museum clues... I’ve been eyeing this one off for a while, so I’m glad we finally had time to do it!
The cache was found eventually (after walking the long way), and the log book was pretty easily retrieved. We managed to squeeze “Pat & Aimee” on there - But the log is full!
TFTC Pigwig!
Edit [15/07/2019]: At the time of finding the cache, we also pulled up directly behind a car that had it's hazards on... We assumed at the time we'd caught someone else trying to find the cache, but I guess not! Hopefully we didn't scare the poor people off!

We found a few caches today while on our way to and from the puzzle solving event at Helensvale Plaza. It was a totally random selection of caches and this was one we had the pleasure of finding. It was a very simple idea used here, but very effective. It gets a favourite point as we have not seen it before. Thank you to Pigwig2 for placing a fun cache.
Did some caching today around the event that was on our program. Found this one OK and signed log. It was a fun find and gets a favourite point for the idea. TFTC.
Kestal and I were on our way from Toowoomba to Tweed Heads for a CITO and had a list of target caches. On the way to the next cache on the list Kestal was having a look at what was in the area and this one drew her attention because of the favourite points so we made a quick detour and found a cool cache ...adding another fave to your tally. Thanks Pigwig2.
As Eskies5 and I continued our way south towards the CITO we decided a quick stop off at this one was necessary since we were so close. It wasn't on the original list but glad it was spotted as a spur of the moment grab. The container is excellent. TFTC Pigwig2
I took a deviation off the motorway on my way back to Brisbane, and soon found a place to park the car. I spent much too long looking in slightly the wrong place, before something caught my eye and I knew I was onto something! I clambered down to where I'd spotted it, and it wasn't long before I'd worked out how to get the cache out. A nifty little cache, I enjoyed the novelty of this cache, and it earns a well-deserved FP for its ingenuity.
Once I finally found this, I felt like I had been blind!
Awesome cache, and fun container as well

Had a reasonably early night on New Year's Eve so felt energetic enough to hit some northern GC caches today. First cache on the first day of 2019. TFTC Pigwig2
Apologises for the later than expected log.
Heading away with the family (The Rats) for Christmas holidays we can never go too far before Dad is pulling up the car to find another cache….. which isn’t all bad.
Found this one before heading back to Dreamworld for the day. This cache and a plethora of other finds contributed to us having a great time away.

Our 2nd day doing theme parks and today we had time to grab a couple of caches before getting to the park at opening time.
Stopped here due to favourite points and soon seen why. Its good to see a bit of thought go into a container.
Thanks

Wow!! What a cache!
Heading north back to work after a dentist appointment, what best way to full the drive in then finding a few caches.
I loved this one, it was awesome! Quickly grabbed the log and signed it. Getting it back was almost harder then getting it out. Replaced as found and definitely worthy of a favourite point.
Thanks Pigwig2, cache was in great condition and this makes smiley #502

Second attempt and this time this area has been mowed and came across to awesome cache thank you
Found a park, made my way to GZ with my little fella and wasn't long before we found what we were looking for. Very creative, really enjoyed finding this and my son thought it was the best thing ever. TFTC, signed and returned. A fave for me.
Yet another day at the theme parks but this time we were visiting Paradise Country for the little kids, with animals and outback shows. We had a little bit of time beforehand so I convinced the family to just find a few of the more interesting caches in the immediate area.
The second find for the day while we were in the area. I noticed this one had lots of favourite points so decided to go see what it was all about! Unfortunately the area has lots of rubbish and looks like someone has dumped some stuff here
Found something that I wasn't sure if it was rubbish or not but soon worked out it was the cache!
The attachment has broken so it is probably alot easier than intended but I can see the creativity and fun in the cache!
TFTC and unique idea Pigwig2, not something I have seen before!

Will need maintenance as the cache is currently just lying on the ground.
I assume it is meant to be attached with the attachment that is hanging off it which would make it more of a hands on find.
Thanks Pigwig2!

Clever and creative hide, easy find true to the name of the cache. Watch for spiders! TFTC
Dodged some HUGE spiders in here. Spotted it from a safe distance from the spider and made the grab with b_5qared. Tftc!
Tftc. Nice functional camo. Found it on the ground, looked like the fastening has broken. Of course still findable, so I added my name to the logbook and returned it to where I found it.
Parked nearby and crossed the road, I thought geokid would be deterred by the long weeds but in he dived so I followed suit and found the clever cache. Great container thanks for the fun
do u want to go to movie world for the day says geodaughter ... yes ... but ... I want to get a cache while we are down there please

Have seen several like this through the years. Fun to show it to one of my geocaching recruits. TFTC
I was a bit bemused when I found the cache and it took me a little while to figure out how to access the log (I'm a bit slow sometimes!). Once I had figured out the trick I could sign my name.
Thanks for the original cache, Pigwig2

Geocaching around the Oxenford/Pacific Pines area today with Selva Girls. Love this game: we come across all sorts of ingenious caches is all sorts of unusual places. Just like the candy man can! A fav point from us for ingenuity
Log signed & replaced again. Found at 12.15pm on 4th February 2017. TFTC

Out caching with Mr and Mrs RoddyC. Next was this cache. Our phones werent too happy here and took quite a while to decide where GZ was located. Once they settled, we made our way there, only to find a very clever cache there. FP from me for this one. TFTC
Location had me baffled but when we did find it we were impressed. Jarrahtree has a nickname of Candy so this was a must find for her after we were all loaded up on caffeine.
Thanks Pigwig2 , a Favourite Point from me.
