I took over minding this cache form original owner. It's temporarily disabled due to DNFs and too far away for me really to maintain it, as I don't ever travel that way.So am removing the cache.
Hi robatfarrer,The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention, or it may not but in the absence of the cache owner performing maintenance and/or disabling the cache to check it out, I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 4 weeks) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.If you require more time please be sure to **post a note** (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 4 weeks to keep everyone up to date, if you do not then you cache may be archived without further note from a reviewer. DNF 07/10/24. Its been two years since a find and a year since a DNF, i have messages the cache owner, but i think this is gone and needs replacing.
Searched for 20 odd minutes in every nook and cranny with no luck this afternoon.
Stopped off just down the road with Turtle and made a walk back up to this one. Searched around the area and all potential spots for upwards of 20-30 minutes. No luck here
Nice back road tour .
Plenty of green paddocks at present .
Found cache nicely tucked away .
Many thanks for the hide.

Been a while since I've smelt a windy llama [XX(]
But out here there was just wind in the air,
and no sight of any llamas.
Not even a windy alpaca to be seen or smelt
I could smell a cache !!
TFTC and detour off me intended route today [^]

Called past this one for the first time. Original owner moved away and asked me to take over.
Collected a handful of caches between Nowra and Goulburn. It was nice to spend time outdoors despite the light showers throughout the day. Thanks to all Cache Owners for the contributions to this recreational activity.
Ooshie swap day! Whilst the eldest spent the morning with mates swapping these little fellows at the two nearby Woolworths I found myself with a few hours to spare. Weather was nice and sunny, still a bit cool, but perfect to hit a few of those not so nearby caches that had originally eluded me, recently been published, or had not enough time to make detours out to find.
It didn’t start well, Mt Fairy FM not received. Gave it a good shot, but just couldn’t pick up a beep. Rolled onwards in and around the hills, dusty dirt roads a plenty, picking up a few smileys here and there, mostly there. Back onto the Tarago series, where a few of those early missing containers had been replaced. All found bar one, missing again it seems.
Had planned on an earlier start than I actually got, but not really complaining about the extra two hours of sleep I must of needed. Just means I’ll need to make a return trip out this way, sooner hopefully rather than later. Made it eventually back to town just in time to ready the eldest, this time for Soccer. A good solid 3 zip win.
Apologies for the generic log, any specific details added at the end of log. TNLNSL TFTC

Nice tomb, al good with cache, but my GPS went absolutely bonkers here. Bi scary! Thanks gaboogle1

On the 1st Aquilus1 and I were supposed to be first day of a three day adventure going deep into the Heart Of Darkness.... all the way through NSW to Bogan Shire to claim a multitude of counties... but (and there is usually a but) unfortunately I no longer had three days available, just two. So, last minute change of plans was for us go to the coast and go north, and see how we went. I even solved the only puzzle on the road before leaving.
So.... it ended up being a great loop, clearing out the road from Bungendore to Nerriga and going on to claim about a dozen shires. Clearing out an area is always slow going, but we were methodical... No Cache Left Behind as dubya would have said, despite the constant rain.... at least after Nerriga it was more a trip to claim counties than to clean out the map.
Late on the 1st we remembered that we should eat, probably before everything closes... luckily we found a Thai place in Berry that grumpily let us in while staring at the clock.... no mind! The food was great. Frantic internet searching looking for a motel then ensued while waiting for our dinner... all was well, we had fine lodgings awaiting us in Kiama.
On the 2nd the rain was looking like it was going to set in for the day as well, but we soon realised it was the fog that was going to be our nemesis.... it was unbelievable and downright scary... glad I wasn't driving! But, in the pea-souper, we somehow missed our turn to The Shire and ended up near Appin, no mind, we can continue in this direction.
Not sure I can even remember all the councils we passed through and grabbed a cache or two in, but here goes:
Queanbeyan-Palerang,
Goulburn-Mulwaree
Shoalhaven
Jervis Bay
Kiama
Shellharbour
Wollongong
Wollondilly
Campbelltown
Camden
Liverpool
Fairfield
Canterbury-Bankstown
Cumberland
Strathfield
Canada Bay
Burwood
Inner West
Sydney
Woollahra
Waverley
Randwick
Bayside
Georges River
Sutherland Shire
Wingecarribee
I jumped out and found this one... worried about snakes but none were present today

With GreyHams we had planned to head out for a three day trip into NSW for some counties, all the way to Bogan Shire! We had 14 counties on the route but a change of plans meant only the two days were available so plan B had us heading towards the coast and up towards Sydney.
All a bit of a last minute change but all good, GreyHams had a plan! Off we set, we had 5 counties on the list and would see how many more we had the time for. The new route had us driving up towards Bungendore to Tarago and then across towards Nerriga to Jervis Bay. A good trail of caches and we searched for them all, a few DNF's but mostly a successful trip through with a variety of caches found and some really great locations visited.
The rain set in about Nerriga, light and steady, and we both ended up more than a little damp at times, super fun when looking for a cache in the wet bushes! Mostly we cleared a nice path along the way with a few caches down some side tracks, a few puddles to play with along them and the only Mystery along the way... Well thanks to GreyHams for knitting that one out!
Stopped in Berry for a nice Thai dinner and then on to Kiama where we stopped for the night.
Woke to more rain but continued on North stopping at each county along the way for a cache and anything else interesting. Thankfully the rain did end up clearing... in its place there was the thickest of fog to navigate through, no worries about that on the Motorway with the traffic and almost no visibility!
Slightly turned about in the fog we did end up off track but worked out well in the end with a new course set and off to conquer the counties along the way into and around Sydney. A surprising 25 counties visited in the end, much more than expected but happy with the result and a good couple of days away to do it in. Thanks to all the CO's for your caches, apologies for the generic log, any additional cache information has been added to the end of this log.
Managed to stay parked on the road with no traffic coming while GreyHams took on the long grass.

#8699 - 14:30; After a couple of days attending a convention in Bomaderry, it was time to head for home and perhaps collect a few more caches on the return leg. Took a detour through Windellama for this cache and a couple of others. Parked right next to GZ and spotted the obvious hide. Located the cache soon after, but retrieval was a bit more of a challenge. Managed to grab the container at full stretch, which might have been given some assistance by the local wildlife to get deep into its 'hole'. Managed to add my name to the log, so left happy! TFTC GLISS!
Found, signed and put back, great spot! Saw a couple of pretty spiders on the fence. Be careful of snakes.
Driven past many times, and finally remembered to stop for the find. Quick find and cache in good nick. Surprising place for a hide.

In search of wine, Genghicat and I had to detour past cache, so of cause we had to stop. Quickly signed log and left keyring. Cache is in good condition. Tftc
I had to head to Wagga Wagga to make a presentation at a Scout meeting on Saturday morning. Of course, this gave me a great excuse to come down early and knock off a few caches along the way.
Juno and I spent a fantastic night sleeping on a 'secret' spot on the shores of the 'Bidgee, and then went and completed a little power trail in the early morning.
It was then straight back to Goulburn and home.
Thanks to all of the caches hiders, we will be back in the area soon!
Cheers

Thank you for a wonderful cache I thoroughly enjoyed your cache. Log signed and replaced cache.
Thank you for the cache. Log signed and cache replaced. *OCW Throsbyonchurch*.
Found it as team *Throsbyonchurch*. A quick find with mummy but didn't sign the log book as only got this account tonight. Mummy thought I should have my own account now I am getting bigger and helping with the finds, so I will have a nice record of the caches I have helped find and the places I have been as I grow up.
Found -- 3:15:00 PM -- SL TFTH. Thanks for bringing us here to this location robatfarrer. Cache in good condition.
I got off to a late start which turned into an awful morning.
I planned on going to Goulburn today but first off I had to return a couple of dvds during which time I unexpectedly brushed shoulders with a famous Sydney cacher, although didn’t realise until we were yards apart.
Caching time!! First stop today was a new cache at Exeter.
Unsettled by the time and the heavy black cloud over Goulburn I changed tactic and headed for Bungonia. I figured I could find a couple of caches there but wouldn’t be going to the Conservation Area as I didn’t have my pass with me, but that was ok it wasn’t the afternoon to spend there anyway. The sun was beaming down overhead and life was beginning to look better than this morning. Onward to Quialigo for *Tomb of Windellama* which was not what I was expecting, nor where I was expecting. I drove passed this nesessitating a uturn. In the process I came across a dead deer laying where I was turning - eewww! The joys of country life. Found the cache and moved on cutting across to Currawang Road for a find near the Mulwaree River. This afternoon has been incredibly thereputic - the sun, fresh air, rolling hills, abundant bushland and of course, caches. . Getting late and almost time to head home but with some daylight still offered it was into Goulburn to end the final moments with Annabel, Sam, Bob and the Three-Eyed Monster.
Nice cache hide robatfarrer enjoyed this location. A farmer was over the road collecting some wood off his property but was not able to see us parked here. Beautiful views.

I've been meaning to do this cache ever since I started caching (back in 2010), but never seem to be going past, or sometimes just plain forgetting when I was at Lake Bathurst. Today I had an hour to spare in Goulburn, so decided to make the run down and grab this cache.
Nice rocks here, that I didn't spot until I stopped. Lots of long grass around them.
Container was quite badly affected by the weather/sun and was missing a clip and had a large hole in the side (I emptied about a tablespoon of water from it). Log book was dry in its bag. I had a spare container of that exact type in the car, so I have replaced the container and transferred most of the contents (minus the mushy/slimy stuff).
Thanks,

You can't safely park beside this cache. There isn't enough room to get the car off the lane.

Found on a very windy day. Parked a little way down from the cache but once at gz we had no trouble locating the cache although the container is now badly cracked and does need some maintenance. Future cachers doing this cache at night might find a big furry muggle who appears to have recently moved into the spot near the cache. TFTC robatfarrer
I was out doing some maintenance on my Nerriga cache, and scoping future locations. This was my closest unfound cache, so a good excuse for a nice drive.

Last cache to find today, have enjoyed exploring this area, thanks so much for contributing to our day and TFTC
#1597 - Found by B sitting out in the open near the fence. Placed in a more geocachably appropriate location. Had to deviate from our Bungonia-Tarago route marginally with our fully loaded trusty bicycles. But all part of the challenges on our AroundOz cycle adventure. Clearish this morning and quiet roads but the dirt road from Bungonia Heights area was hard work in parts with really bad corrugations on the curves and corners. At least the cache location had a nice collection of big corks.
Went the back way home. Boy are there some big pot holes this way. Initially drove past the parking spot but quickly located it the second time. Hmmm the queen of Windellama's tomb, hope there's some treasure. Looked under over and around and then spotted her resting place but my arm isn't that long, perhaps this to the end of Windellama's reign, excessively long appendages. Eventually positioned myself so the longer of the two would reach in and retrieved the burial chamber but it seems all the gold has already gone. Thanks for stop. there were no tomb guardians today but I can see this would be a good spot for them.
3347. Found with Relish64. A quick stop over on our return from a day of fun at Bungonia. A few laps of the tomb were required before we spotted the container. A nice little hide!
Thanks robatfarrer for the cache. Im always here if you need a phone a friend

The GPS wanted to take us 57km's around from Bungonia to this one, pft, there are shorter ways. Easy find.
Found it again. Thought this was a new cache as the co ords were putting us quite a distance away from this location.
Was passing through from Nowra to Goulburn, thought we'd pull over and theck our pre-loved cache, lol. We hadnt been in this district for quite a while. Thanx again for adopting Robatfarrer.
Came via the dirt roads from Bungonia on this wet and misty day. Car is filthy now! Fairly quick find in a nice area, TFTC.
Having been camping for a couple of days a little south of here, I detoured a mere 10kms to amke a nice easy find. I had a little spare time, and the cache contained some water, so I left it out in the sun & wind to dry out a bit better before I repacked it all and headed home.
Well that turned out to be a challenge, especially as the cache was about 15m away out in the open! It wasn't till I came to the conclusion I had searched everywhere amongst the rocks that I widened the search area and came up trumps in 30 seconds.
I replaced the cache according to the clue, and as close to GZ as I could get. Shouldn't be a problem for future finders. I suspect an animal has had a crack at opening the cache.
Thanks robatfarrer for another.

Bit of a drive for this one, with the heavy rain we been having there's a lot of pot holes along the road, some sections there's water over the roads, but we got there. Quick find. TFTC

My GPS started playing up at this cache - telling me it was off in the fields on the wrong side of the road. After reading the hint we soon found it, signed and put it back in its hidey hole. Then raced back to the car to get out of the cold windy drizzle
Found at 2.25.
