Found with the Nelson crew. Staying in the Barossa for next few days so off to find caches
I sat out this cache as i was recovering from being stung by a Jumping Jack Ant at Lyn's Memorial cache, not something i would recommend and reading the description i didn't need a bee sting as well. Sidewaze, Paddle Chick, Bullertrout, IsisNZ and Nanzie are caching our way around the Barossa signing our logs as SPBINZ or some variation on that. TFTC Grandeeze#16425
Out completing the loop this morning on a bit of a random caching mission. Seeing a few more of the sights today as we are off the trail. Found as part of the SPBINZ team (Sidewaze, Paddle Chick, Bullertrout, IsisNZ, and Nanzie). TFTC SnappyTomCats and kia ora from Aotearoa/New Zealand # 21,980**tepoti/Dunedin is the place to be 26-27 October, 2024 for GCA7ZHD - Geo Toroa Mega! Please come and join in the fun, find heaps of caches and experience some wonderful Southern hospitality.**
Caching with team SPBINZ, Sidewaze, Paddle chick, bullertrout, IsisNZ and Nanzie. After a great day yesterday putting (almost) all of the bunches of grapes in the "Barossa" series back how they were we're planning a much more varied day today and having a good look around. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Aotearoa / New Zealand.
Mission accomplished this was my targeted cache for the day to complete the 6th lap of my DT Grid.I did several laps here at GZ but I wasnt going to give upthen I spotted another likely hiding spot which produced the goods Awarding a favourite point just because TFTC
30/10/2023 5:55:00 PMI searched and searched and searched but cache or bee was found
Happy to turn this blue face to yellow. I abandoned the search on this one on a late evening a few years back. This time I walked straight to it & found in seconds. Go figure! Tftc. A favourite from me
A big fat DNF
Checked cords and the ‘bees home’ with no cache in sight :/

*Another big geocaching trip to Australia with woolwood9.*
Our main focus was the "On Your Bike" Wherigo series but of course we couldn't resist many stops on the way plus other good trails!

Really appreciate the effort put into this cache.

Up and over and up…Spot on! Headed up to visit the impressive sculptures and learn some geology and then ride a circuit. Bingo bango! Third day in SA and out on trusty treadles aka my mtb to explore the trails and surroundings. I’ve learnt theRE are plenty of quality SA caches - plenty to pique the curiosity and anticipation of another surprise or fun cache. Happy and relieved to record no DNF’s today and on average most were located ‘relatively’ quickly. TFTC AND THE FUN and the effort to contribute to this fave game!
Excellent, another couple of 3s to go towards my SFE challenge - all the 3s.
Enjoying a relaxing long weekend in the Barossa. Sunshine, music, good food and caches.
TFTC Grandeeze and thank you SnappyTomCats for maintaining these caches.

This took a bit of searching for as gps wasn’t behaving itself but eagle eyes geo hubby Animal62 soon spotted the cache. The log was signed & dated before being returned back to its hiding spot.

Camping at Cooranggoorah for the weekend. We ventured out for a hike during the day and then headed into Angaston for a few supplies. Arriving at GZ, there were numerous possibilities for a cache to hide.
My shoes and socks are really wet now but the log in the cache is as snug as a bug in a rug. Thanks grandeeze for the hunt.
Doing some caching around the Nuriootpa area with ilook4geo for a little while. Each found log had two more names noted on it before the cache was put back where it had been found. The co-ords took us about 5 metres further in than we needed to be. Good size cache. Thank you to Grandeeze for putting this cache into play.
Cache hunting around the Barossa area with goingplaces2 went on today. Loved the caching around here and found a good selection for the day. Each log was signed and replaced before moving on to the next cache. This was a very quick and easy find after almost giving up and while walking back to the car. TFTC.
I think I wanted this too much but the failing light got me. I’ll be back one day!
Meandering thru the Barossa with the Waldos, picking up some random caches. TFTC. Logged as L&W.
Found during an enjoyable and eventful caching foray around the backroads of Nuriootpa after attending 'A 10th Geo Birthday and other Stuff' event. Second visit here, this time found after a short search. Thanks for the cache Grandeeze and SnappyTomCats!
Found after a short search by myself, cache is well hidden and in good condition. TFTC.
What to do on a long weekend... I know, let's go geocaching !! While we are at it, why not cross the border as well !! So once again, I teamed up with Na'wal to find some hidden treasures. We loaded the GPSr's up with some juicy D/T hides, loaded up the car and hit the highway. The ladder certainly got a work out here, glad I packed it in the car.
Luckily there were DNF's, that would have stung !! We grabbed a great variety of hides, a credit to the CO's. We didn't even make a dent in all of the awesome hides here. Oh well, we'll just have to return here again !!
We were interested to see this part of the state, so we had to grab a hide here as well !! This was well hidden, but our prying eyes soon found it !! TFTC SnappyTomCats

With a rare public holiday day off, it was time for a road trip. DAB and I packed the geo wheels and took off over the border to find us some nice DT caches for the weekend. We packed the extendable ladder as well as lots of other supplies and took off.
This cache was well hidden and took a little to find it today.
**Our thanks to Grandeeze for placing this cache for us to find and enjoy**

After a rest and some lunch back at my accommodation, I headed back out to find some caches south of Nurioopta. Thanks for the hide.
What a cracking winters day for a bit of geocaching. It was cool but the sun was out and a few of these caches were a lot harder than expected. Thank you all for the caches. TNLN. TFTC.
Took me a long time walking around and around, until I eventually found it.
Thank you for the cache.

Missing chicken FTF geocoin! We found cache in good condition. Signed log and left a new TB (kangaroo). Miss 4 swapped a stingray
A wealth of places this could've been hidden so it was a surprise to find it so quickly. Tftc.
Found while out hunting traditionals in the Tanunda and Bethany area.

I have ridden past this cache on a number of occasions. Today I am in the Barossa for a planned charity bike ride tomorrow. We will ride past two more times then.
So on the way to meet up with the group I thought I might try to find this one. Its not particularly common DT combo may be useful as we try to add to our DT grids.
Wandered around GZ as the GPSr did not want to settle. There sure are a lot of potential hiding spots here!
Eventually tracked it down about 8 metres from my original search site.

Had a day off work and wanted to catch up on a few more smileys, so grabbed the geobag and a few supplies and headed out, decided I would complete a circle starting at home and finishing back there.
Out With **JEM** today joining dot to dot smiley faces in a circle to see how many we can get before heading home.
This one took a little longer than probably required. Wet weather and long grass don't mix. Thanks for the find. Found with mkmc
With that many options for hides and GPSs which weren't behaving, it was nice to have a prior finder on board who could at least point in the right direction (some distance from where both Owl and RidetheGeoWalrus were looking.) Even then the cache blends in. Definitely a challenge!
Plans were afoot to help sushilord to replace one of his hides up near Clare way with Doctor Owl and make a day of it, but sadly the weather ensured this was not going to be a thing. Instead the good Doctor and I were joined by locus cache for a northern adventure.
This was find number 22 of 39 for the night for me. TFTC Grandeeze!

Yippee, Geocaching is 15 years old today.
A nice quick find after attending a 15 year birthday event.

[green]Find #35 of the day and Find # 5526[/green]...
It was Geocaching's 15th Birthday and a few SA Geocacher's had put on the works... How could I not go??? I picked up locus cache and headed up the Highway for a fun filled day of caches and 'the' event...
After the event, I decided to head out and clear up some local caches... A fantastic day of caching with an event thrown in... A beautiful time of year with all the trees in colour and everything lush and green... Although it was quite cold today, the pleasant company made it warmer... A great day out as I tagged along with Moneydork & Semik...
A bit of a stroll, a bit of a search, made the find, stamped log and replaced again... [8D
My sincerest thanks to Grandeeze for the effort gone into this cache... I have seen many beautiful area's around this fantastic area..

Headed out today with earthlight to clean up a few of the caches around this area, we managed about 34 for the day and was a great day driving around the areas with some really cool buildings along the way, caching takes you to some places you would never go and these are areas we would not normally go, weather was good for us today and was a very enjoyable day, didnt take to long to hunt this one down with 3 people looking : ) TFTC
Found with Chrisval7. Very well hidden . Signal wandering 40m so it took a while.
I was almost going to give up on this one for another day when I decided to come at it from another approach and there it was almost staring me in the face. So yes, difficult but not

We found this cache on our trip to Adelaide with team Seffnjarah. A good time was had by all. Thanks for placing this geocache.
Day 10 of team Seffnjarah and team Mickjor's trip to Adelaide and beyond. After a rest day for most of the crew yesterday it was time to hit the wine trail. We all bundled into one car (4 adults, 3 kids) with me as driver and hit the road. After the rest of the crew had a taste or two or were just enjoying the air conditioning, we moved on to other venues. We spotted this tasty DT combination on our travels so pulled over nearby to make an attempt. While I was looking elsewhere, Daddy Mickjor strolled over and made the find straight away. It was a little exposed when we found it so put it back with a little bit of natural camo. TFTC
Found It!
This one took me ages to find. And now having found it I don't really know why it took so long. It just doesn't seem that hard...

Still leisurely touring South Australia after the Mega
Camped at Greenock we were planning a leisurely few days. Weather looking a little iffy what will we do today?
Decided to head out and see if we could find a spot to place a cache in the area, with a local geofriend to maintain. Managed to make a few finds in the area when it was safe to pull off the road.
TFTC and helping us keep our streak alive.

TFTC. Found on a beautiful day. I came back to try and finish the Fruit Loops series, and thought I may as well grab some other here to. With 18 finds for a few hours work, very well done I say.
This one had us running around for a little while as our compasses didn't seem to like hills. But in the end we found it, great cache with some great stuff in it. SL. TNLN. TFTC.
Out and about for the day in the beautiful Barossa Valley. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Maggie Beers and found some interesting caches on our travells.
